When it comes to selling a property, not all real estate deals are created equal. Throughout my life, I’ve bought and sold several homes. Some were a slam dunk and sold in a week. Then there was the other kind…My most recent house had issues—not because it was in bad shape, far from it. It just happened to be the sort of place what was going to require an intricate negotiation strategy to get it sold. I hired the Todd Wiese Homeselling Team because I believed they had the expertise to handle a deal as complicated as mine. Just spent the day traveling to a home listed by this company. It said in the listing that it was built in 1980. Perhaps this was some sort of typo that they dont care to fix, but it was most likely built in 1880. There is no way that this house is less than 100 years old. Besides that, there is standing water in the basement, which would be one thing if it was reported in some way, but it is not. I will never even consider looking at another house listed by this company.

We chose the Todd Weise Home Selling Team to sell our Green Bay house. I was surprised to see Todd himself came to talk with us on the initial visit. He explained several things that might help sell the house and how he would list it. He was going to do a COMING SOON listing for 1 week before the actual listing. We agreed to have his team represent us and he setup a second meeting. He explained everything and set a date for the listing.We were out of town when the listing went active on Monday. Within 6 hours we had 1 full price offer and 2 other offers due in by Wednesday. We setup a conference call for Wed. afternoon to discuss the offers. We accepted an offer with a April 30 closing date.The team kept us fully informed on the showings and peoples comments about the home. They continued to keep us informed on everything thru the closing. Our realtor, Leslie Van Calster, and her inside team at Todd Wiese provided excellent service and support for us in selling our 100 year old home (for significantly above asking price) and moving into a smaller and newer FSBO home suitable for our upcoming retirement.Leslie reviewed the market carefully with us and was up front about expectations. She described all the steps in the selling and buying processes and there were no surprises along the way. She was very patient with us - we had never sold a home before. We worked with Julie Hand for over two years. We were interested in selling our house, but it didnt work out for various reasons. Eventually, we decided to purchase a second home (rental property). She stuck with us through it all. Julie patiently showed us homes in our price range and preferred area. She was willing to drive in the cold and rain to show us homes and had a smile on her face through it all. She was VERY knowledgeable and pointed out things to us we didnt notice or think about. She was helpful in being a go-between us and the sellers when we had questions. She was awesome at pointing us in the right direction when we had questions or tasks beyond her (home inspectors in the area, etc). She even put up with our silly sense of humor. In the past, we have used other realtors, but no one has been as loyal, hard-working, down-to-earth or knowledgeable as Julie. We recently sold our home with Eric Arneson of Todd Wiese. He was professional, resourceful and enthusiastic about the sale of our home. We initially went With a different realtor company; Our home had been put on the market May 2017 with less than ten showing from May 17-January 18. During this time we struggled to get viewings, had 2 sales fall through at the last minute and felt we had to change realtor companies for a different outcome! The process was stressful however once we started with Eric it got better. He knew his processes, he did the research and successfully negotiated a sale for more than the asking price. We moved out of state prior to selling the home so all our paperwork was handled from a distance. It was still as effortless as possible, and easy to understand. The Tood Wiese group had the resources to advertise the property to large audience of interested people and we had a great number of showings with 2 offers within 2 months. We truly feel blessed that we were able to work with Eric and would referred him to anyone!!! We learned first hand that it truly matters who sells your home!!

I am very disappointed with my experience with Julie Hand - especially reading previous reviews written by past customers stating their great experience with Julie. She came to do a market value assessment of my home about a month ago and she said she would contact me within a week. That did not happen. I have not heard anything from her since the assessment even after sending her a follow up email a week ago. Quite frankly, if you are not interested in my home please let me know. It is uncalled for and I do not plan on ever going back to this team nor do I recommend it because the communication (and acknowledgement of any communication) seems to be lacking. I was eager to work with Todd Wiese Home Selling Team, but unfortunately, if they do not want anything to do with you they will completely dismiss and ignore you. I expected more from a professional selling team with great reviews.

I was working with Todds brother John on a land purchase. It seemed weird to me that he never wanted to write up a formal offer to purchase. I agreed to buy the property for what they were asking, and spent two days with my bank getting the pre-approval they required to accept the offer. I called back a day later to see what was holding up the deal to find out that they had sold the property that day to someone else for more than asking price. They basically used my offer, put me off to drag it out, to force someone else to offer more money. I was used as a pawn in this sale, and will never use them, or recommend them to anyone ever again. Buyers beware!!!
