Amfam is by far the best. This office has always been there for any questions and concerns and are very friendly. Even after moving we stuck with this office.

If I could give this company zero stars I would. I was insured with American Family since I moved from Texas to Colorado after being laid off and losing everything. We moved here with one car and we worked our tails off to get ahead and get a second car. We bought our 2017 Nissan Versa in February of 2019 so we would have a reliable car. I also have 2009 GMC Yukon with 185,000 miles on it insured with Full Coverage through American Family. Three weeks ago my 13 yr old stepson lost his father in Texas. The Nissan provided us a way to get to Texas to be there for him through that. When we returned the hailstorms in Greeley damaged both of our cars badly. Our 2017 Nissan Versa sustained $7,250 worth of damage. Our Yukon sustained $6,250 worth of damage. American Family Insurance told my lienholder that the vehicle was unrepairable and that I had two choices. $10,450 to the principle of the loan and they get to keep the car. Or $5,450 toward the principle of the vehicle and I keep the car and continue making payments, just with a lower principle balance. I chose to keep the car and the payments. My lienholder refused to allow us to keep the car unless we could pay it off since it was deemed “unrepairable” by the insurance company. Which meant that American Family would pay their $5,450 and I would have to pay another $6k out of pocket. No refinancing available since the car was labeled unrepairable. The vehicle is not unrepairable. It is hail damaged. The car has never been in an accident. It has 45,000 miles on it and is still under the extended warranty. There is nothing unrepairable about it. But since American Family told my lienholder it was unrepairable, I no longer have a car. Straight up robbery. Then American Family Insurance turned right around and told me that the car was worth $4,250 scrap and that they would sell it back to me for $5,400. American Family Insurance is shady as they come. I will never do business here again and I would advise anyone else to steer clear as well. I have since canceled my policy and gone back to USAA where I should have stayed. And if you’re thinking I’m just that guy who can’t be made happy, I’ve 22 Google Reviews, none anonymous, and only 2 were bad. That’s right, 91% of my reviews are positive. I’m attaching pictures of my 2017 Nissan Versa with 45k miles and still under warranty, after the hail storm, to show you what “unrepairable” looks like to American Family Insurance. Although I’m about 99.9% sure they’re gonna auction the car and not title it as totaled or salvaged since that would lessen the amount of money they can get for it. So when it comes to me keeping it, it’s “unrepairable” but when it comes time for them to retitle and sell it at auction, it’s just hail damage. Nothing more than legal thievery. Not only did we have Full Coverage on both vehicles, we had a higher policy limits of $100,000 and $300,000 and not the minimum, basic $25k and $50k. You see what that got us. Stolen from. If the use of that one word, unrepairable, is not illegal in this case, it very well should be. I also shared this review on their public Facebook page with 6 pics of the 2017 Nissan Versa with 45k miles and an active extended warranty that American Family Insurance labeled “unrepairable” and made absolute sure that my lienholder knew it was “unrepairable” so that they would not allow us to keep our car.

After 20 years of paying premiums to American Family Insurance they screwed me around Royal then they quadrupled my rates on my car insurance I had hail damage on my roof and the dining room ceiling fell in from the leaks they made to claims out of it when its only been 1 and that was after 3 tries of trying to get the adjuster to cover my roof these people are disgusting and should be fired never go to American family ins also when I called Keith Monty he was unhelpful and rude to me so I found a different insurance company and cancel theirs immediately
