I submitted multiple requests through the website for more information over the last month or so. Never heard back so I called. The guy who answered the phone was so incredibly rude. He did not answer the phone with any indication that it was a business. Just a straight “yeah can I help you”. I proceeded to confirm that it was in fact the business and he just says “yeah, can I help you” again. He sounded annoyed that I was calling. I asked a couple questions and each time the answer had nothing to do with the question I asked. Seemed like he wasn’t paying any attention to me. His responses always included “well you just need to book online”. Why would I book something before my questions were answered?? Very unprofessional for a business. Wouldn’t trust them with any part of my wedding after that interaction!

Never confirmed or denied my online booking and phone number listed would not go through. No VM option either. TERRIBLE service!!

Unprofessional and rude does not begin to cut it. We booked our trip, got the confirmation number, and even called to verify. Said they were just double checking things and would call back. Just to make sure time slot fit. We were waiting to hear back and they never got back to us. Then they texted confirmation with a $300 upcharge. When we called to ask why the upcharge they said they only had a larger bus left. I had explained we were waiting for confirmation and they said they emailed us, but no one confirmed so they booked it with someone else. Only had mega bus back now. We explained how that was not true. They were supposed to call us back, but never did. They claim they never got an email back so they went with someone else. This is not true because we have emails and texts from them if they wanted to reach us. They ignored us all day. They hung up on me multiple times (after putting me on hold for almost 10 minutes and then the other time after saying they would refer me and were checking if we could get the lower cost on the bigger bus). Instead of correcting their mistake, they just ignored the problem and hung up again. Very rude and unapologetic. This was for a birthday too and had people coming into town for.

Wish we could have had an experience with them. Had an April 2020 wedding planned for my son that was a victim of COVID shut down. Now they won’t return my messages about a refund. Frustrating when COVID steals joy and when businesses make it worse by ignoring you.

DADDs transportation is FANTASTIC! Toys for Tots has benefited from their service for several years. They transport the Star Wars 501st to the Grand Rapid Santa parade staging area, then picks us up at the parade de-staging area. Every year Darth Vander tells me how pleased he is with the service. I dont usually leave bad reviews, but I gave a $100 deposit and then our event didnt happen due to COVID-19. I sent two e-mails and left a voicemail, and I never heard back. The fact that they never even communicated with me about it has be extremely unhappy with this vendor. We will NOT be using them for the rescheduled event next summer.

DADDS ended up being a good choice for our wedding party bus. I was a little nervous a few months out, but it ended up working out. We had some big changes to our timeline due to COVID and it took a looooong time to get those confirmed. I never got a response to any of my emails, so it’s definitely better to talk to them over the phone. If you get Ron on the phone, ask to speak to Chad as it seems he handles all party bus bookings. Our driver was very friendly, but was not wearing a mask like we’d requested with Chad. The bus was new, clean, and specious. We had brought along our own speaker and cooler for ease, but they provided ice in the built-in buckets. Overall, we had a great time on the bus as we traveled between our different locations throughout the day!

I reserved a 30 person bus for a work affair and the driver was very personable and was here before scheduled time. When I called to make the reservation staff seemed friendly. Rates were way better than other places I had called. Will recommend them and use their services again!

He knew where to go based off of what we talked about and wanted to do he would walk us up to the doors and also with some places could get all us girls in without paying a charge fee. A different company cancelled last minute on superbowl Saturday, and I contacted Dadds just hours before and they were kind enough to squeeze us in and gave the best service. The driver was so kind and I am so thankful for the helpfulness of the company and how great the service was. The vehicle was in great shape and had a lovely interior perfect for a wedding shuttle. Will definitely use this company again!

Communication was far from ideal. Took days to get a response from phone calls and would only answer through text... sometimes. Asked for a large bus for our wedding as they were just finishing building a coach bus. On the day of our wedding a bus and driver from a different company show up (guessing they subcontracted it out when they realized they couldn’t finish the bus) with not enough room for our wedding party which was promised. Hand people standing, sitting on coolers, nowhere near enough room which was promised. We Do not Recommend DADDS limousines for weddings. It really out a damper on that part of our day.

I used the big party bus for my wedding. The bus itself and the driver we had for the night were great. Massive bus, good sound system, and comfortable for a big group.The customer service was very poor. Every time I would call it would seem like a chore for the owner and or receptionist. They charged me more than what I was told the day of - obviously I am not going to fight it on the day of my wedding. Then I got charged an additional hour extra a week later, even tho the bus driver was done before the original time. I called to discuss - again felt like a chore to the owner - and he explained he would look into it and give me a call back. It’s been 3 weeks and I haven’t heard anything back.Great bus. Great driver. Poor management. Would look in a different direction if I’m looking for transportation again in Michgan.

Frank Roberts the owner of Dadds is one of the finest people I have ever met. Frank has set me up with Vacation Rentals, Limousine service, and Stays on his Fishing boat. He really knows how to treat his customers well. Frank does everything he says hes going to do and always makes it right for his clients. Frank is a straight shooter and bends over backwards to accommodate his customers.

The idea was to rent two buses and a hummer limo to transport people to a beach wedding location in silver lake Michigan. The dispatcher was extremely nice and assisted in setting up the reservation after all of our instructions were provided for our needs. We thought this company was awesome for undertaking this task for us and even provided a driver to talk to that had done this type of operation before at the same location. However after paying the entire bill I was contacted 4 days before the wedding to tell me they were backing out because of insurance reasons. The reasoning was acceptable however the point is they should not have book this reservation in the first place with us if they could not provide the service. Also backing out 4 days before an event is poor customer service. This caused extreme stress in planning and additional last minute costs for transportation. Point being this could have ruined the entire wedding. If you want a group that would help you nearly lose $20,000 or more go for it however I would NEVER RECOMMEND THIS SERVICE due to their dishonestly and inability to follow thru.

Everyone at Dadds was a pleasure to work with -- Cheryl, who helped me to plan our trip by providing extra information and nearby food options...she even worked hard to get us additional discounts at the tubing rental site! -- Tammy, the manager who kindly confirmed the reservation and made this day a reality by confirming all the details were in place; and Marcus, our driver, who was incredibly nice and professional for the entirety of the day and got us to where we needed to be despite a few unexpected road detours. These guys were great!I would highly recommend using this company for any event, fun or formal. My fiance had made a reservation in April. We received a confirmation number and they took our CC info. 2 weeks before the wedding, someone called my fiance and said that they no longer had the bus we reserved. I called to see if we could work something out. The guy on the phone refused to discuss it, cursed at me, and hung up on me. I called him back immediately. He knows that I am a Marine and combat veteran so he told me that he hopes I go to Iraq and get shot. Then hung up on me again. Please dont use their service. Theyre obviously extremely unprofessional.

Driver was very accommodating, on time and friendly. Scheduled for my wedding day several weeks in advance for the Hummer. Which was what my wife really wanted. Wedding day arrived and I had an Excursion show up to pick us up. I was told the Hummer was overbooked and not ready so the driver grabbed the excursion. Which was interesting because when I scheduled the Hummer I was told it was the only one left in the fleet. The point is I paid for a service and didnt get it. I was told it was being looked into but have yet to hear back.

We hired Dadds Magic Bus to surprise our friend for his birthday. Our driver, Dan, was so helpful in pulling off the Surprise and was very accommodating to our needs. He went above and beyond for us and we really appreciated it. Also, the bus was amazing. It was huge, clean, and had Bluetooth sound system so we could play our own music. Everyone had a blast.

Who needs AC on a 100 degree day? Not their customers apparently. Dont use them for your special event unless you enjoy being embarrassed in front of your friends and family. I wish they would have charged an extra $20 and bought a can of Freon. The owners are a joke. Correspondence with them was at a 5th grade level. According to them, air conditioning on their vehicles wasnt designed to run on hot days. That was literally their excuse for our sweat drenched ride around Grand Rapids. If you look at the reviews, the owners never respond to bad reviews, only good ones. Thats because the bad reviews arent exaggerations. They have no answer for the ways in which they have wronged their customers. Avoid at all costs. Dont try to save a buck. The Uber XLs we have after we discharged the sweat box 4 hours early we much more comfortable.UPDATE: Seeing that the owner wants to slander me on here, the name of the party was MOGOS. My wife made the reservation dippy. You emailed me in your 5th grade English and told me that it was too hot for the AC to work. I have all emails and contracts. I was gonna leave it at this but now I will take it to the BBB. Search your inbox for my name. Im in there. I left you my number. You want to make it right? Call me. Oh, I bet you wont!This guy is a snake. If anyone looking at this looks down the page, you can see he just copies and pastes his response. I never said anything about a Chad. Another reviewer did. Rented the 40 passenger party bus for a family Christmas party pub crawl....it was the best party we ever had is what was said....the bus was perfect with wrap around seating, stereo system ROCKED! and Rocky our driver was awesome and can drive the hell out of a Greyhound bus in blizzard conditions!!!! We rented the Lincoln stretch limo for our wedding. The driver showed up and was awkward. The limo was in poor repair, the lights inside didnt work. The air conditioning worked poorly. The speaker was blown which made music impossible to listen to. The driver helped our kids put a bag in the trunk and upon exit of the limo never opened the trunk and the bag had to be picked up days later. Not professional. Very disappointed for the price. Should have taken an uber.

Had a great ride on our 12th Anniversary, Mar 17, 2012. Took my lady on a ride through our fair city of GR, on our way to dinner at 616. service in the phone was excellent during booking and the rate was just what I needed. I will definitely return if and when I need those services.

BUYER BEWARE! The driver was great, the company was not. Our limo broke down, left us stranded until another car was ready, then picked us up in a dirty vehicle that smelled liked vomit. Would not refund our money but offered a voucher for later use then DOUBLED the price. Coinsedently, same situation happens to my best friend 10 yrs prior.

I want to begin by saying the driver was great, but the customer service/owner was terrible. We paid for the Excursion limo for a friends birthday. The temperature that day was in the 80s/90s and the air conditioning didnt work. All of us were sweating terribly before we even got to our first stop. We called Chad and talked with him afterward and he said he would look into it. I have emailed numerous times since then to get an update but he has not responded. Very unimpressed by his lack of professionalism. When you pay that much for a service you expect for the owner to, at the very least, have the decency to respond to emails and phone calls.

I reserved the stretch Hummer for my daughters bachelorette party. Driver was on time and very helpful to the girls after a couple hours of fun. It was nice to know that the bridal party would get home safely.

The experiment was fun with my class room and teacher we where all having a great time. It was just so exciting to go inside it looked nice.thank you for the ride

Kappa Sigma/Grand Valley State would always use DADDs for their bi-annual trips to Soaring Eagle Casino in Mount Pleasant. They were always on time and always gave us great rates for our Fundraiser! We will continue to use DADDs in the future.

Took the bus with my robotics team down to St. Louis and to start it was supposed to have at least outlets. On a bus full of robotics students and mentors not having outlets is a big deal for us, we could have used them to prepare for upcoming matches and data. Our driver on the way down was good but on the way back the bus had broken down. He decided to spend 3 hours on it trying to fix it himself before calling a mechanic. In the end one of the students had done a patch job himself. After getting to Chicago we switched to another bus as a replacement. This second bus was worst than the broken one. Again no outlets but on top of that no AC either, The back of the bus was so hot the floor was literally hot to the touch. They were late to meeting the other bus as well. Dadds Magic Bus is a company I will NEVER use to recommend to anyone. I would rather WALK to St. Louis and back in the rain than use this poor excuse of a company.

This bus company need to out of bus as Im writing this we are strained in Maryland due to brake issues and more . its not safe to drive this bus back to grand rapids Michigan. When u got on the road to Va we broke down 4 times before we got to Detroit as well as 3 times in Woodbridge Va. Thats when we paid out our pocket for another charter bus . The company said that they order a part to get fix and the bus will be safe to get back to Michigan. That is not true because right now we broke down in Maryland. This company is so unprofessional as well as they didnt do a inspection if u ask me because they would of saw all the malfunction before boarding passengers up on the highway.. This company need to shut down

I would NEVER use Dadds!!!! We hired them to drive us from our church to reception for our wedding...they were an HOUR late with the WRONG transportation!!! We had to call them to find out where they were, they never contacted us to let us know they were running late. They gave us THREE different stories as to why our transportation was late. Will not give us a refund for the time that they shorted us and have terrible customer service. When I talked to them they said they would give us a refund but never did and then backpedaled and said they dont give refunds. When you pay almost $700 for a service you expect top notch customer service and it was no where near that!Everyone that Ive shared my story with has said they either had a problem like this or knew someone else who has!

I hated the whole expierence, the driver picked us up an hour late and dropped us off an hour early! There was no running water in the bathroom, and their tail lights were out. We even told the bus driver and he did not care. He even got a ticket for his lights being out. The manager also had previously offered a friend a deal on the next bus because he tipped him so well, there was no deal offered. Never use this bus unless you want crappy service

The limo picked me up with my whole class for an end of the year beach trip. The limo was very clean. Even with 22 kids in the limo no one was cramped and we had a blast!

Awful, horrible experience with Dadds. The bus driver was very perverted and unprofessional. Multiple times the bus driver, Chad, had said inappropriate comments to me that made me feel very uncomfortable. At the end of the trip, I told him that I would contact his supervisor for his behavior, he became defensive and threatened if I did that he would get me arrested. He also yelled at me as I was leaving the bus and said You could never have me anyways! As that was the issue...? Absolutely not. Very disappointing and will never use Dadds again!

Reserved a charter bus 5 weeks in advance with several communications about making sure the bus was in new condition with AC and PA system.The bus is one day away from being gutted. Ratty seats. No PA. Broken AC. Worst of all, a complete lack of ownership to correct the problem by replacing it with a bus we were guaranteed.Find another company.

We had a large group take a bus to a Tigers game. Driver was very friendly and they provided lunch for us. We had a blast and would love to go on another trip!!

Dadds limozine is the best limo I have ever been on.We got picked up from a beach.There was a lot of room and it was really fancy.Me and my class really enjoyed it.Thanks Roberts family!=)

This vendor was difficult to deal with. I used them to provide transportation for my guests to and from our wedding reception. I told them MULTIPLE times that I would not be riding the bus, so I wanted a quote that included EVERYTHING (fee, tax, driver, tip, everything) so that I could pay ahead of time. After 20+ exchanged emails, they finally sent me a confirmation that reflected the total price, I called and paid by credit card. I received multiple phone calls and emails after the fact asking if we wanted to book (we already booked and paid in full!). Their system didnt recognize this. I received a call a few days before the wedding asking for addresses, when I gave them addresses in the booking contract.After the wedding, I get a call from Tammy saying that somebody had been trying to get ahold of us all week (nobody from DADDS called me except to find out if somebody lost a bracelet on the bus) and that she was sending me to collections for not paying the driver. A bunch of BS. I sent her the copy of the contract with the driver fee included along with a copy of the confirmation of payment.

The bus was a wreck! It rained on our trip .. on the INSIDE as well as the outside .. thankfully it was on the ride home .. by the time we got back my entire right leg was soaked! The bathroom didnt flush .. so by the ride home the back of the bus people were riding with there shirts over there nose .. the speakers only worked for the first quarter of the bus .. The rest of us got to listen to static .. the driver Dan was a piece of rude work as well .. took the mic and told us all about his $180,000 body guard job .. his bullets to him .. and was complaining that according to his contract he had to be back to GR before the agreed upon time frame .. blah blah .. the entire bus didnt need to know (yes he took the mic again) .. I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone

They are always on time, prices are the best, drivers are the best, best selection of vehicles and a local WEST SIDE business. Dont go anywhere else, use Dadds baby! -Tom
