Review is regarding Jane Reynolds who is affiliated with Griffin Properties/KW Grand Rapids North. Jane listed a home in Caledonia very recently. This home was on the market for less than a day and she set up an Open House for Saturday June 29 - a day after the home was listed. My family was very interested in the home and drove nearly an hour to attend this open house. Upon arriving, Jane greeted us and informed us that an offer had been placed on the home and accepted the previous day, but we were welcome to tour the property and place a backup offer in the event the accepted offer fell apart prior to closing. She stated she did not cancel the open house despite an accepted offer to give others a chance to see the home.My family did not appreciate having our time wasted. She should have changed the status on the home promptly after the offer was accepted. This is incredibly unprofessional and disrespectful.To anyone reading this review who is seeking to determine if Jane is the right realtor or KW GR North/Griffin Properties is the right organization to assist them as either a seller or buyers agent and does not understand how this might relate to you. Consider this. The day the home was listed it had an offer and it was accepted despite an already scheduled open house for the very next day. Nearly all offers have a 48+ hour window to accept or respond. A good realtor would have advised her clients to hold on accepting or responding to the offer until after the open house and advise visitors to the open house that an asking price offer had already been received. This very likely would prompt others to issue a greater than asking price offer and a potential bidding war between interested parties would likely ensue. Additionally, an accepted offer on the first day of listing is a huge likely indicator of the home being under priced. In any event, it is my opinion that Jane and KW GR North/Griffin Properties likely cost the sellers thousands of dollars on the sale of their home. However, I am absolutely certain that she wasted over an hour of my time.I strongly urge KW GR North / Griffin Properties to discuss this matter with Jane Reynolds and take corrective action. My family was not the only attendees. We saw numerous others. Have to believe that nobody appreciated this.

My wife and I was so lucky to have met Steve VanWyck from Griffin Properties. We were looking real hard on a new home with a nice basement space, and Steve was very patient in helping us find just the perfect home. He was very knowledgeable and knew exactly what we were looking for. After the inspection, Steve looked at a few things and guided us through the whole negotiating process, and even got the seller to throw in a year of home warranty and new roof!!! He was very pleasurable to work with and will definitely get him to help us next time we want to buy or sell a home!!!
