I lived in the two bedroom town-home for 18 months, and it was a horrible experience. The townhouse was extremely run down and outdated, and in terrible condition when I moved in. It was absolutely filthy on move in day, and I had to shampoo all the carpets myself. There was cat litter all over the apartment, and it took me months to finally get the last of it out of the carpet. The screen door in my living room was installed inside out, (yes believe it or not, screen was on the inside)and never properly sealed with a huge gap that made my heating bill outrageous. I was told I would be first on the list to have it replaced, and even after several inquiries, it never was fixed the entire time. At one point the screen door was completely unusable, and after a work order was placed, and then 4 phone calls made to inquiry about getting it fixed, I finally bought the stuff to fix it myself. I was called 4 weeks later asking if the problem had been resolved and to rate the service provided. What a joke. The floor in the living room was literally sinking, and by the time I left, one point in the floor felt like it was going to cave through. Geese overrun the entire complex, and you cannot step anywhere without stepping in poop. My basement flooded every time it rained. And they wanted to raise rates on me after I had been here, for the absolute dump this place was. I found a much nicer updated place down the road for less money per month, and better amenities. I do not recommend this place, and they will not let you see a unit before signing your lease which is awful in my opinion.

Seasoned But LovedHats off to the staff of Windridge for all of your earnest efforts, it shows. The property although being older, is well seasoned. It has the tenderness of the staff to care for the residents needs, and just the right amount of heat to keep the tenants unified, even under the sting of the pandemic that were all facing together. I love the hints of wildlife that surrounds us day and night, even when nature calls. Their flight of laughter and calls to gather, invites me in and holds me captive for many hours either day or night from our own personal deck. For me and my family its a prayer asked for and received. Its where we call home and the best place to kickback after a tiresome day at work, even though that may be right here at home.

This is probably one of the safest apartment buildings I’ve lived in at GR. The people who work there are EXTREMELY nice, they honestly deserve nothing but the best (the day I moved in, Walmart just left my futon in front of the building before I even got my keys, so Stella was kind enough to send a technician to carry it all the way up to my apartment before I got my keys later in the afternoon). They’re amazing, and it’s been a little over 6 months since I moved in. I decided to not write a review until I had a maintenance issue, since I know many apartments don’t do so well keeping track of maintenance requests (previous apartment back home took more than a year just to fix a window). I had a flying ant, mailbox, and electricity issue recently here at Windrige and they were able to look into the situation within a week after I called or sent out an email. So maintenance service is definitely a 100/10 considering how cheap the rent is too. They also helped me go through the pet agreement patiently (I ask a lot of questions, since I get anxious or over-analytical on things), and they kindly answered all of them until I was set to go.Price: 10/10Service: 100/10Location: 10/10!Yeah the building is old, but it’s still habitable and pretty nice. Check them out!

I been looking for a place for me and my daughter for 5 months now. I must say I have never met such respectful ladies in my life. Ms. Kim was so sweet to me and my baby. They laughed, talk with respect, etc. I really felt at home. I said it before I left keep up the good work ladies. Because before walking in the office my life was going down hill and I was stressed and depressed. You guys gave us hope. Thank you 😍🙏🏾👧🏾👩🏾🏠🤞🏾

I have loved living at Windridge! Were living in a townhome and actually saved a couple hundred by moving here in the winter AND we are now getting a bigger space, even with the savings!Management is very friendly and always addresses any concerns that we being up; they are very pet friendly and my dog has loved our daily walks around the property; maintenance has always been incredibly quick to respond to any of our requests, typically within a day or two; and the pool area is very well kept! On top of that, we were given free reigns with our landscaping and they just replaced the shingles and gutters above our unit.On the downside, we are surrounded by geese and ducks, but a pond will do that. And, we can tell that the building is on the older side as the floors squeak incessantly, the slider isnt quite level, and the basement lacks a bit of luster. However, even with its flaws, we love it here and we know that while were here well be taken care of! Weve recommended this to a few people who have recently moved in and wed continue to recommend living here to anyone looking for a friendly, pet loving, open, and affordable area!

I lived here for two years, at first I thought everything was great! I had a beautiful view of the water from my patio, I felt like I had tons of space, etc. After time went on, I noticed how awfully negligent the staff was on anything that needed done. This being said, Im not saying the staff wasnt friendly, I thought they were very sweet! However, as soon as I had said we were no longer going to live at Windridge once the lease was up, I never got calls back from management and everything had processed longer. Day one when I moved in, I asked them to paint the cabinets because they werent great looking paint wise. We went the whole two year lease term without getting the cabinets painted. Waste of time and money.

The price is a bit on the higher side, especially since I have a dog and live in an updated apartment. The patch jobs in the apartment itself look a bit rough but its very spacious with a balcony on the second floor. Neighbors are all nice and can rarely hear them.

The level of dedication to the residents goes without saying. They work fast, they work long hours and they work with anyone that is willing to walk through those doors with an application or even an issue.

WORST APARTMENT MANAGEMENT I HAVE EVER SEEN.The location on the lake is really nice and units are well kept, but the management ruins this place. We were forced to leave (giving up a non-refundable pet deposit) after the management refused to evict our smoking neighbors - even though the lease has an entire non-smoking addendum page. They dont follow their own policies listed in their lease and make special cases for rule-breaking residents. Throughout our battle with our neighbors, the management was unprofessional, rude, and incompetent - we are still dealing with getting our security deposit back.

Had items stolen and vandalized, reported it all to the office and nothing was done. Moved out six months ago and just got a notice that they sent me to collections for a final bill that was never delivered to me even though I left forwarding information. Living here cost me money in the long run and is now messing with my credit. You are better off living in your car than at Windridge

Not worth the money. High priced. Updated townhomes still not in good condition. There is always something wrong with a toilet. The floors are unleveled and very very squeaky. Cabinets old. The blinds for the patio are cheap. They will keep ripping and falling down. The ducks will keep you up. Quacking all times of day and night. The book keeper sucks. They will constantly come up with ways to get extra money from you. Make sure you check the unit well if you move here. They charged me for a ding in the refrigerator that I never did or seen. $150. They charge $150 if you do not give a 60 notice to move. When management does something wrong it is hard to reach them. They do not call back. If you have a basement room it is either too cold or too hot. Lots of spiders for whoever get the basement room. Plenty duck-do outside your door. They need to tear these old townhomes down and rebuild Not renovate. I WOULD NOT..recommend moving here. I stayed one year and got out.
