Our sewer line was collapsing and filled with roots - they came out and within two days scheduled to pull a new sewer line THROUGH the existing one! Very slick, quick, minimal damage, completely replaced, quickly done, excellently returned to as close to our former back yard as possible! Tim and Doug did an excellent job

Just purchased new dishwasher and the motor of the dishwasher was pushed against the water pipe not allowing dishwasher to be flush with the counter top. Josh and Doug did an amazing job re-routing the waterline and drain hose to allow the dishwasher to fit right. Very personable and professional!

Fast and professional. Quality work. The only downside is that a pressure regulator valve install cost is over $400. Considering parts to be $100 to $200 and one hour install, that would make their labor prices extremely high. They charge per the job. Great experience otherwise.

Jeff and Doug came out and did a dryer vent cleaning and an AC inspection. They were punctual, well dressed and extremely professional. They went above and beyond to make sure our equipment was running correctly and well maintained. I will be calling Peterson again with all my plumbing and AC needs.

Jeff came out and gave us a quote. They had everything in stock. Adam and Chris came out and worked all day the first day so we could have heat again and second day installed central air. First, let me say the guys that showed up were professional. However, there is a big communication problem at this company. I called and scheduled an appt. for my swamp cooler which needed a new motor and new pads. Took something like 12 days to get them out. Understand that as this is the busy season. I told them that I had a normal cooler NOT a breezair . When I called I specifically told the person that this is a metal building with 18 feet to the edge of the roof. Told them to bring a long ladder. Called again before the appt and left a message to bring a long ladder. Called again after that and made sure they got the message to bring the long ladder which was confirmed. They show up, on time, and they have no long ladder and they know nothing about needing a long ladder. They say they were sent to fix a breezair cooler??. They go back to the shop to get the long ladder, I get a call from a woman who says they are not coming back because they dont work on metal buildings . Unbelievable lack on communication and no concern for leaving me stranded with no help in weather over 95. Had to call another more competent plumber and wait another 9 days in the heat because of this terrible service. 2 stars because the techs were competent, business overall deserves 1 star.

The air conditioning was making a loud noise like a helicopter and was not working properly. AND the temperature was 103 in the morning on a Thursday. I called around and got various service call estimates and times. I was blessed that Peterson was able to schedule an afternoon appt the same day. Brandon came to the home and was so professional, polite, and knowledgeable. Repair was quick, efficient, and very affordable. I highly recommend this company and especially Brandon.

Ute Water informed us we were using 2.5 g. of water per minute. Where was it going? Called Peterson who sent JR out with in 2 hours, he tested and checked..found there problem and resolved it. We will have big water bill but thanks to Peterson and Jr..no where near as big as it could have been..Many Thanks

Theyre both very professional and courteous and my Pitbulls loved them both.Doug and JR both explained what needed to be done to fix the tub faucet in the upstairs bathroom.JR told me the cost for the repair and calling around Mesa County Peterson Plumbing prices are reasonable comparison to your competitors. That was a huge blessing.In the future if I ever have plumbing issues again I will definitely call and request JR and Doug since my dogs are comfortable with them.Thank you again 😊

Our AC stopped working and they were able to get us on the schedule quickly. The guy who came out was very professional. That’s why I’m giving two stars rather than a lower review.This company only appears to be able to think inside the box and only wants to sell you a new unit (our estimate for a new furnace worst case scenario was going to be 6k). We had a second opinion come and check out the same issue. This new person said they could replace a part ($50) to make our furnace operational again. It was also noted that Peterson’s technician pointed out parts “not working” that actually are in working condition. I am disappointed because Peterson’s failed to give us the option to fix our unit. It should be noted we have a very old unit and could use a new one- but we emphasized multiple times our goal was to repair the current system if possible. Peterson’s is not a company apparently interested in cost effective fixes for families on a budget. Since this is how they do business, I would not recommend.***After posting, a manger called and refunded us the service charge. I try to be honest with my reviews so people fully know what to expect with a service. I added a star after this because I feel like this company tried to make it right for the service they did not provide.

Tim came to install a toilet. He was very easy to get along with and did a great job. We did run into a couple of small issues, and he explained the solutions thoroughly. There was one issue that required floor repair, and he was even able to recommend someone we could reach out to. Good experience.

Ours turned out to be a difficult cooler installation owing to the building and roof, but Robin and her crew were absolute professionals and have stood by us to get the job done correctly. Jeff is an incredible resource and very responsive. I cannot recommend this company highly enough. We appreciate all the help we have received, and will recommend to anyone looking for reliable service and installation.

If I could give a zero star review, I totally would. Do not do business with this company unless you want to be taken advantage of. They charged me $600+ to assess our HVAC system and add two pounds of refrigerant. They did not fix the problem and my condenser was still freezing up the very next day. They try to make you feel like they’re there to help and to not make it costly, but then hand you a massive bill for nothing. Further, the tech forgot to order the part they determined we needed and two weeks went by without hearing from them during 100 degree heat. We have a toddler and it’s definitely not ideal for him to endure that. We had a lot of things going on at the time and I dropped the b-ball too, but I found their Disorganization to be unacceptable. When they finally sent me a quote for how much the repair would cost, my jaw dropped at how much money it would cost. I called three other local companies, two of which were booked for the next two weeks, and all of them said they would have charged $200+ less for the initial assessment and cooling. On top of that, the company I hired charged me $1000 less to fix our system than the price Peterson quoted us. Shame on them for trying to take advantage. Save yourself a ton of time and money and do not hire Peterson.Update: the company called and offered a partial refund for their service. I appreciate the adjustment.

JR even showed me where and how to look for these potential problems. Someone else may have bullied me into getting more services then I needed. John and Jeff(?) were great. They arrived a bit ahead of schedule (called first), they quickly serviced my swamp cooler, and now the house is cooler than its been in a while. They were very professional and friendly - and they got me set up on the same day I called!

My questions over the phone about my garbage disposal were handled professionally, and JR arrived on time and precisely when he said he would. I am very appreciative of not only the quality of work that was done, but the level of professionalism and respect that I was treated with. I absolutely will call JR and the Peterson team with any future plumbing needs.

They found a water leak from our hot water heater on a Friday. Then left the water on all weekend which flooded our garage and bedroom. We then Paid them thousands of dollars to replace the hot water heater. When the new unit still leaked they just said good luck and have never been back or called since. They never even finished hooking up the drain. They just left a bucket under it that we had to dump every day. These people are a complete rip off. We have had to pay a different plumber to redo all that they did. I wouldn’t recommend calling them for anything. Robin should be ashamed of herself

We had to replace our sewer line. The first company who looked at it quoted a price we thought was a little high, but they said it was urgently needed and soon. We held off and called in two more plumbers. Thankfully, we called Peterson. Tim’s quote was a lot more reasonable, and he didn’t try and rush me or add on other jobs. He got the job done quickly without a lot of mess or complications. I’ll definitely stick with these guys in the future!

Here at KC Mechanics in Clifton, CO we needed our swamp cooler and toilet replacement JR and Raymond worked in this heat, it is almost unbearable. I commend their quality of work and being on top of the situation. Thank you to Peterson Plumbing for sending really great servicemen to our shop.

Ken arrived late, but called to let us know that he was running late. Very professional! When he arrived, he talked with us and began his service call. When finished, he took time to explain what he found and gave us some very useful recommendations. He also gave us information regarding his companys Membership Plan, which we promptly joined! Peterson Plumbing is located quite a distance from where we live(60 miles), but the service fee was even better than the local HVAC companies. We are sticking with this company!

Can I get a negative star button? I called Thursday looking for a simple HVAC inspection in Montrose which they said they had no trouble servicing. I inquired about pricing & was told 129 EACH system and they would not charge the 59.99$ dispatch fee. I was given a 12-2pm window on Monday.Raymon the tech calls at 12:34 pm already inside the appointment window to let me know he needs to “ cancel or reschedule” according to his voicemail. He’s stuck in Fruita & cannot arrive in Montrose until 2:30. Ok. Unprofessional and inconvenient since there are 2 households and 2 real estate agents involved in moving the time window but ok... life happens. I communicate exactly what I need again since clearly they are not super organized. The tech says to email him my info and he will call for payment when he’s done with the job. I text the tech my email and my phone rings again. It’s the office. The tech had called to let them know I’m “ requesting more items be done”. And payment must be received in the next 15 minutes or they won’t show up?! Ummm okay Robin, the most rude owner I’ve ever spoken to. No wonder you have a 4.2 rating. You interrupted me 3 times to tell me what I hadn’t scheduled. I’m aware of what I scheduled. Listen to the calls, I’m sure you record and realize your dead wrong. I scheduled both services and tried to pay.My mind is complete blown at what an unorganized, incompetent hot mess this place is. I also love that you Robin threatened to sue to me leaving a review. Classy business owner. You argue with your customer, interrupt them and maybe if you ran a better business you could afford to pay someone with some customer service skills to answer the phone for you.In response to your reply, I’d encourage you as an owner to listen to the original call to see what services were asked for before ignorantly claiming “ incorrect information”. It’s not my problem that at least two of your team members made mistakes. If this is how you lead your team, it’s clear why calls get booked incorrectly and your technicians ( according to several reviews across many sites) are frequently tardy.I respond to rudeness with rudeness. Perhaps if you had displayed an once of professionalism this could have gone differently. Your bad attitude was reciprocated when you got defensive about what a disorganized mess your shop is. I moved into an older home last year and it has required a total and complete update to the plumbing. I have had their team of professionals to my home several times over the past year and just recently for a complete update to re-plumb the entire home. I am very thankful for the professional work they have done. They have always been prompt and on time. They clean up after their work and have presented several options on how to proceed with each project and different budget options. I feel our customer service has been exceptional and the quality of the work has been perfect. I did contact 3 other plumbing companies to receive estimates and they were definitely competitive. I hired them due to the previous jobs that they had done for me over the past year because of the exceptional customer service. I am thankful they were able to completely replace all of the plumbing. This was a big job and it took 4 days and they were right on budget. Good job Peterson plumbing and heating, I am thankful for your quality and dependability.

Buyer beware! I had another company come out and quoted me $1300 for install and $1200 for the same heater Peterson was offering at $5600.I paid $830 bucks to have them clean a broken machine without repairing it. After 6 hours, it still didnt function correctly. It may actually be worse. Before we could start it one in 5 times. Now, it fires one in 20.I will say, the technician installed a pipe very well and the service was well done which is why I am editing this post. Sadly, this repair did not fix my issue.5 for service on the technicians knowledge and friendliness, 1 for pricing.

Superior customer service! I called yesterday as I had a carbon monoxide warning coming from my detector. My furnace was really old and it was time to get a new one. Well they came the same day I called and did the work today. Extremely quick but efficient. I’m so happy with the work and even happier that I didn’t have to wait in the cold for very long. We had a major sewer line replacement in 2009, it truly was not done correctly or on time [8 days instead of 3]. Within a few weeks we had issues and messes. We didnt think it was the new line, just we/guests were overloading the system so we never called to have it checked; only cleaned out by another co. Since we werent very pleased with Peterson, and they didnt have a great rep at the time.Jump to 2016 and the issue was really bad and I finally dug out the old paperwork and found the line had a lifetime warranty. I called Peterson and within a couple of hours they inspected it and said they would take care of it no charge.They put a crew on it within 3 days and repaired joints, cleaned the line, and even cleaned our basement of the overflow! You would never had know they dug up our yard and did any work it was so clean. The customer service was great and prompt. I dont write reviews but, this was so surprising that I feel they are really trying to do a good job. I would give them 5 stars but they didnt get it right the first go around. It should be known though, that they DID fix it right and without fuss the second. Thank you!

If you had not had HVAC work done in the past I would recommend a couple different quotes from other companies. Very pricey. On the upside they have a good emergency service and will get to you when others can’t. They will give you an upfront quote before any work is done. Be ready to break the bank!

I was so impressed with the service I received from Peterson Plumbing, Heating, Cooling & Drain. My roof mounted Air conditioner-Heat Combo Unit quit and we have been experiencing temps in the 100s, so I called Peterson based on their ad and the emergency service they offered. I experienced very efficient and concerned regard to my problem. The Unit ceased to work and could smell burning, I turned unit off and I called their emergency number and the Tech was out the following day with two portable Air Conditioning units. I ordered a new unit and within two days they were installing it. I am so pleased with the Service and workmanship of this Company and their Technicians I highly recommend them for service with problems they provide. The Service Techs were knowledgeable and very thorough and courteous. Thank You Petersons. You rate 5 stars in my book.

Roger S. came to shut down my swamp cooler and start up my boiler. He has been here before and, as usual, he gave me fantastic, personalized service. There were many things that he explained to me to help me become more knowledgeable about my home system. Roger has always been so pleasant and personable during his appointment. I cannot say enough about him or the great service that Peterson has given me for two years!

Called on a whim to see if they delt with domestic gas lines and was immediately met with knowledge on potential causes and fixes to my problem by the sweet woman that answered the phone. She was able to have a gentleman at my house within 2 hours. After only a few minutes the gentleman promptly told me with a smile that he could most definitely remove the gas line for me and with exceptional ease as well as very little clean up after the fact. 30 minutes later and a good conversation and the gas line is gone and I’m able to continue my remodel construction. Peterson knocked it out of the park with some highly knowledgeable and exceptionally friendly staff that swooped in and saved the day in the midst of the holidays.

Peterson Plumbing has never let me down, Roger was prompt, courteous, and really knew what he was doing. My wife never ceases to be impressed with the concern for protecting her floor with their disposable booties and mats they set their equipment on. I called Peterson Plumbing today to replace a valve ending for the refrigerator water line. I knew that the old one would need to be soldered off and a new ¼ turn valve installed. Peterson Plumbing dispatch would not provide a quote over the phone but I figured that on the high-end the price would be around $100. After arriving at my house, the plumber spent a good 10 minutes trying to sell me their monthly, unrelated service for $24.95 before looking at the project at hand. After looking at the pipe with a valve, the plumber went out to the truck to write out a quote. About 45 minutes after his first entry to the house he came back and handed me the quote that looked like an essay. I asked how long would it take him to do solder on the new end for a threaded valve and he told me that about an hour to a one hour and a half. The quote was for $443. I rejected the work and paid $49 “dispatch fee.” Peterson Plumbing could’ve easily told me the price range on the phone but I suspect that they didn’t so that they could collect at least the dispatch fee. The quote of $443 for this job was outrageous. I later had another professional come and did the entire job… in 20 minutes. That makes Peterson’s rate close to $600 per hour. A total rip-off.

Discovered a water leak on around noon on Saturday. Called Peterson and they responded quickly. They were able to fix the leak as well as take care of some other issues including the furnace. Everyone who was involved in fixing the problems were very professional and personable. Very satisfied with everything they did.

I appreciated Jeffs help. He was very courteous and got the job done quickly. I had some plumbing work done under my house to it up to grade. However I was not told that this up grade would affect the flow / water stream. I was surprised to find this out. The water stream is noticeably slower. I would have liked to have been told that ahead of time.

Although very kind and courteous, I wouldnt bother getting a quote from them. Or, if you do, make sure to get one from another company. The service technicians are very sales driven. Their price for the recommended work was $5,000 higher than the other quote I received! With their competitor I got higher quality, even more efficient equipment for almost half the price. I didnt appreciate how they wanted me to make a decision immediately. The tech even called his boss and put him on speaker. The boss actually said, What can I do to get you to do this today? The higher pressure sales tactic was a huge turnoff for me.

I had a washer and dryer brought for installation on a Saturday and was told that my washer could not be installed because the hooks up needed to be replaced. I called five plumbers and left five messages; only one called me back. The tech from Peterson called me back and came out to take a look and provide a quote. He was able to come back and complete the reapir next day. I was impressed with the timeliness, the knowledge, and the willingness to explain everything. I will be calling them again for any plumbing needs.

Bob did an outstanding job of replacing the motor in our air conditioning system and cleaning the coil. He showed us what he was doing and explained it. In addition, he gave us a handy hint on what kind of air filters to use in order to get maximum air flow.

Do not pay them before you get any work done. I have used them before and they were very good. I paid for a plan, there man quit. I asked for a refund, and they thought half to come out was fair. That puts them at $284.00 an hour for consultation. Then it took over a month, and I have only received $100.00 so far. Be very careful.

Called Kim at the office and she dispatched a tech to my house same day. Tech was running behind she did call me to let me know and once he was on the way he called me. Once the tech arrived he was friendly efficient and courteous. He listen to my issue diagnose the problem and corrected it immediately. So we had multiple people give us quotes to replace our main water line.. although it wasnt cheap it was cheaper than the other guys and they walked us through everything they were doing. They cleaned up there sight and only had to dig a 3x3 hole to replace a full water main. It came with a warranty and everything. I believe it was worth the money!

Devin S came to my home to drain my evaporative cooler and check the boiler for my heating system. During the time that he was here he was professional, knowledgeable, and respectful to me and my home. He took the time to explain what he was doing. I asked him to check out the boiler vent on the roof. He did and made recommendations for repairing it. I did not feel pressured into getting it repaired but did so and Devin was able to get it done the same day. He was efficient and respectful of my time. I feel comfortable that the work he performed was thorough and up to the standards that I have become accustomed to from Peterson Plumbing.

Roger was very professional, pleasant and personable. He covered a lot of information on my various systems - plumbing, fixtures, air conditioner-furnace. hot water heater, etc.Explained the pricing system and service agreement.As usual I will call Peterson Plumbing again as I have for 10 or more years. Darren was very knowledgeable and thorough. We just moved in to this home and asked Darren to check EVERYTHING that was suppose to be done on the Inspection Objection and he did with a smile. He was very helpful and did not make me feel like I was inconveniencing him at all with all my requests. He went above and beyond and checked out other items at the house. He was able to provide me with pictures of all of problem spots and our not so much of a problem spots. He was able to explain everything in simple terms for me to fully understand and provide proof with pictures. I like the up front pricing book, I was able to ask how much will that cost me? and he was able to give me an answer on the spot. Everything went very smooth.

I appreciated Roberts professionalism. He explained what was wrong and what he was going to do to fix it without being condescending. The service was prompt. I appreciated that Robert called me 1/2 hour before arriving as I had requested.

I had to use Peterson a numb of years ago. It was somewhat of an emergency, so I was aware that Id have to pay more than I shouldve. The plumber was prompt and polite, and I will give them that much credit. That, I believe, is how they woo people into hiring them, especially the elderly. Recently, they were installing a Breezeair unit on a neighbors house. These units are very lightweight. However, Peterson hired a heavy-duty hoist to raise it to the roof, which aint cheap. Ironically, they didnt hook up the old, heavier unit to have it lowered. They (the two Peterson guys) muscled it off the roof. Overcharging is a crime, and taking advantage of unsuspecting folks is a shame. Those who gave five stars obviously didnt bother calling around. Shame on you, Peterson Plumbing. Things do have a way evening out.

I had a technician come to my house and quote me about $1,600 to fix my heating system. I got a second opinion from another reputable local company and they said $260, I was shocked. Have to say I wont be calling Peterson anytime soon.
