What a helpful group of mechanic and service people. Drove down from Charlotte to help my son with his vehicle issues and they were able to get me in with no problems. The friendly and courteous staff are very appreciated in today’s world of impersonal auto repair shops and upselling big lot dealers. I called to see if it was possible to get my brakes looked at around 5pm. After dropping my vehicle off overnight the staff called me when you first opened the next morning telling me you would get to it right away. I received email with detailed quotes, pictures and modest pricing for EVERY issue that was noticed during your free courtesy inspection. I LOVED that your shop took the time to inspect all possible mechanical problems and then gave me a quote based on the priority of need. I also loved that your inspection/quote offered me the option to review and select which issues I wanted to be worked on. Your web based quote process is a wonderful and no pressure method of expedited service. I was very happy with all the care, work and time that was put into my vehicle. When traveling out of town my air quit working. I called Christian Brothers Automotive and they were so friendly. They provided a car to get me to my hotel while diagnosing and completing the necessary repairs and another ride back when my car was done. They were very helpful when I had questions about the diagnosis and warranty (being from out of town) and were able to get my car fixed the same day I brought it in.

I was visiting from out of town. My car was making funny sounds that seemed to be related to brakes or tires or bearings. Whatever it was, I knew I shouldnt make the 500+ miles trek home without getting it looked at and fixed. I did a Yelp! search for the area I was visiting and found Christian Brothers has excellent reviews and was within walking distance to where I was visiting (seemed perfect!). Christian Brothers actually practices Christian ethics: they are honest, friendly, & efficient; they also do not try to sell any repairs that are not needed. I am grateful to have confidence in their work & not to worry about being overcharged.

They listen very well to the customer. If something isnt right they quickly address it. They dont do anything to your vehicle before consulting you. And most importantly, if there is a misdiagnosed problem and your vehicle still has issues after the initial repairs then they offer discounts and the best available price they can for the customer to properly fix the real problem. I had this problem myself and while Im glad they did the work, I still had the initial problem when I picked the car up. What they fixed wound up not being the problem, so they offered me more service to fix the right parts at an incredibly discounted price. Point is, they really DO try their best for the customer.

I had the dreaded check engine light come on my truck. Being out of state I was a bit apprehensive about where to go. I went to Christian Brothers on advise of my son. I was very impressed with this service business. Very clean, very prompt, very courteous, very professional. They got me right in and diagnosed the issue. The issue I had was an actual recall issue from my cars manufacturer and they said that the repair would be covered at the dealership, however I was so impressed by their integrity that I paid them the very reasonable price to take care of it. I would highly recommend Christian Brothers for all of your repair needs. I will definitely be back. It is so refreshing to find a business and people in that business that actually CARE about others.

I found them to be very kind with good and honest service. I dropped off my truck and took a walk around Lowe’s. When I returned, the service was complete ahead of schedule. Unbelievable experience. I take my Subaru in as its throwing all kinds of crazy errors. I let them have it over the course of a day. These guys literally went above and beyond to check into my warranty and found out my vehicle would be covered under the 5yr/60k warranty for what it needs. The honesty, transparency and conduct is beyond exceptional. Its unfortunate they werent able to work on the warranty work, but next time I need vehicle work done, they will be my absolute first call. Id bet money that had I gone to some other repair shop, that shop would have probably insisted on doing the work and charge me, instead of checking with Subaru about the warranty. If you need work done to your vehicle, give these guys your business, especially since they offer shuttle options, warranty for their work and are entirely and completely professional. Hands down the shop Id trust any vehicle I own with.

I brought my car in to get the right axel control rod fixed and they did quality work on it with a very fast turn around time! I ran into another short issue 30 minutes after picking it up and they towed my car and fixed it up to driving conditions within a short weekend. Thank you so much for your hard work!

Do NOT take your car here... Before my vehicle was taken to this shop I called and was told that my vehicle would be serviced that day. After the vehicle was left there for 3.5 hours I had not received an update so I called and was told that they would get to it on Monday as they are closed on weekends. I told the gentleman that I was assured it would be done today or it would have been taken to a competitor. I was called back by someone else who said the vehicle was looked at earlier and they would try to get to it. Approximately three more hours later which was an hour before closing, after again, not receiving an update I called back and was sarcastically asked if I was calling for an update. I was placed on hold and then told that I could leave it there and they would get to it on Monday or they would leave it out front and I could come and get it.... no charge! Never in my life!

They are not right I was told my e350 wont fit in their garages but clearly I could see one in their garage at that same time . Guess god dont see everyone equally

I took my Volkswagen into them because I was having issues with it starting. They called me and explained what was going on and that only the dealership would be able to fix the issue. They did not charge me for the inspection since they would not be able to fix the issue. They also gave me detail list of everything wrong to take to the dealership. There place is very clean and everyone was incredibly friendly. I will definitely bring my vehicle here in the future and will recommend to everyone.

When my wife called about a slow oil leak she was asked to drop it of and she explained to them that we are from out of town and we need our vehicle. They asked if we could bring it by at 07:00 the following morning and we agreed. Upon arrival I was told that it is first come, first serve and that they probably werent going to have time to get to it today either. I thought this was a 07:00 appt bc if the way they made it sound... VERY disappointed in how all of this played out!!!!!!!!!

The service was incredibly fast (I was checked in, had my oil changed, and checked out in under 45 minutes - which with an 18-month old is THE most important thing and an absolute lifesaver!). I traveled from Houston, TX to Goose Creek, SC to visit family and during my stay the radiator on my 2001 Jeep Cherokee developed a leak along the seam. The issue showed up on Thursday and I wanted to leave Friday morning to head back to Houston. I dropped the vehicle at CBA at 3 pm on Thursday and it was ready for pickup at 7 am on Friday morning. The communication from the shop was concise with the recommended fixes as well as the required fixes and no pressure to do more than necessary. Excellent service!!!! I am very appreciative of the CBA staff who worked to get my vehicle back on the road asap.

Brought my wifes car in for an issue with the brakes and an oil change. I was told a pretty reasonable price for the oil change and was told they would look at the brakes and get back to me. When I came to pick her car up later, the oil change was over $30 more than they had told me it would be, and they wanted to charge me upwards of $2000 to fix the brake issue. I laughed and walked out, took her car to another shop and they did an amazing job for about $400. I have a few friends and co-workers that have had similar experiences here. They are WAY overpriced.

Such friendly and helpful service every time Im here. Prices are fair and service is quick. They even ran next door to buy a replacement battery for my key fob when they realized they didnt have one. The shuttle service is great as well.

Brought with a problem and gave me solid advice and informed me that best to take to another shop. They did not hesitate to walk me through every step and explain everything. You wont be disappointed, they know what the heck they are doing. I had garbage at Firestone week prior (Check that review in detail). Christian Brothers is too notch, clean and CARE about their customers even if they didnt accept the job. Highly impressed and will be using them from now on! I have a 25 year old Blazer and they had zero problem diagnosing issues and they had every bit of equipment to diagnose your new vehicle too.Go, they will explain everything before work is done and authorized. You will not be disappointed. I kinda scoffed at the hours but they truly care about their staff to give them a quality life as well without working them all hours of the day (my observation).

Charge too much and did not fix my car

Came in cause my gas door was stuck open. Luckily i tested it before i left, instead of finding out when I needed gas. It was now stuck closed. It was fixed after i pointed that out. Dont know why this wouldnt of been tested before hand. Took me 2 seconds to see it wasnt fixed correctly. Price was high. Not a great experience. Service was friendly.

I don’t usually write reviews but I just had to! I originally came in for an oil change, while also wanting a courtesy inspection because I knew there was something up with my car. They gave me a quote for EVERYTHING that needed to be done as well as giving me the option of having it done there. I opted out for a couple of the services and SURPRISE, they even saved me money on a service that they realized actually didn’t even need to be done. What other shop would do that??? I was EXTREMELY pleased with the service I got and with the work done. I regret not finding this place sooner!

Exceptional service! I had an issue with my BMW diesel, I knew what the issue was before hand and they diagnosed it perfectly. I generally do not take my BMW anywhere except specialized shops. I was definitely Taken by surprise because I was expecting a run-of-the-mill repair shop. They were some of the most professional and friendly as well as knowledgeable people I have run into and I have a Lotta vehicles and have been to a lot of repair shops. They will definitely go on my favorites list. I am from out of town and would not hesitate whatsoever to take my vehicle there again!

Great honest people fair prices

This was my first experience with car maintenance as I am new to the area. I needed an oil change for my Civic, so I initially called Stokes Honda in North Charleston. Wow! What a huge mistake. I had a noon appointment. After talking with the girl behind the counter, she told me there would be an hour and a half wait. I went back to talk to her at 2:15 and she still could not give me a time as to when my oil would be changed. I will NEVER give them any more of my business. I left and called Christian Brothers when I got home. I brought my car in the next day and was greeted by the owner. After checking in, I handed over the keys and my car was serviced promptly. I felt really good about the whole experience. Thank you CB for realizing that my time is just as valuable as yours. I will definitely be back!

Well thinking that all Cba’s are the same I’m used to using my neighborhood Greenville and concord location , but due to having business in Charleston I decided that hey I’ll come here . Well other then myself being ignorant to cars , I thought bringing them to the experts would help . I believe I was wrong my car was stalling or not accelerating as it should , just by driving it they said nothing was wrong . So I asked what services should be done according to scheduling maintenance, of the services were fuel induction and tune up I.E just new spark plugs . So I paid for both services and days later my engine light pops on coded for Catalytic converter , never have my light came on until this work was done so either it was the induction service that triggered or misappropriation of spark plugs ....... I never thought that I’d have to let another location check over the same company work !!!!!! I’ll see how it’s handled but it’s definitely different from location to location . I trust Christan brothers to be astute experts of their craft no matter the location , but seems I’m wrong also an $250 service for nothing if anything made worse & created a problem !!!!

I needed an expedited oil change because I was heading out of town..when I went online to schedule there was no time slots available for same day service so I called in and was fitted in for an oil change after lunch and was done in a few hours..Very impressed with customer service. Chris was extremely polite and professional..I will definitely spread the word.

Did not know what to think when I was told that I needed a new catalytic converter after I was told over the phone that they hardly ever go out and that my check engine light was probably triggered by a sensor. However, since I already did some research, I believed the verdict of needing a new catalytic converter. Now, here it comes, I was told my catalytic converter would be twice as expensive and needed to be special ordered for my ‘01 Wrangler because it is a California Wrangler that needs parts that are California compliant, even though it never was and never will be driven in California. I was told I could go elsewhere but by law, that’s what needed to be used and Christian Brother‘s would not do anything to break the law. Also, I was told, any other catalytic converter would cause my engine light to come back on after a very short period of time because the sensors would give a false reading and trigger the light. So, I bit the bullet and I am now driving around with a VERY expensive catalytic converter, BUT the workmanship and service at Christian Brother‘s was great; therefore, 5 stars.

Very honest and understanding of our needs. Went about 2 months ago and found our van had an oil leak (I had been taking my van to another company for years and never once did they tell me that my van had an oil leak) they told me what needed to be done and gave a fair price. I was upset my van had taken a turn for the worst and the employees knew this and cleaned up what they could from the under part of the van and topped our oil off for us. 2 months later I returned with a newer to me van and they where able to change out our tires and change the timing belt very quickly. Great people and quick.

I got the most professional service one could ask for. I came in to replace U-joints on a 13 year oldvehicle with 133,000 miles. They included a courtesy inspection at no extra charge. This inspection included suggestions without pressure sales. There was even a courtesy shuttle to get me home. There were a lot of cars.waiting to be serviced so I knew it would take a while before my vehicle would get looked at. When it did, they alerted me by text. After the inspection, the texted me a link to review their recommendations. They kept me informed. And, when they were finished, I was able to pay over the phone and have my keys stored inside the vehicle since.i.was unable to get to them before their closing. Thanks.I will take my cars here from now on.

The staff was very friendly and didnt try to push additional services like other places. The waiting area was clean and had some coloring books and crayons for the kids. Their bathroom is well stocked and has a changing table with extra diapers and wipes! Theres a friendly dog, Goose, that will greet you and ask for belly rubs.

Everything from start to finish was perfect! I called for a quote to run a diagnostic and possibly replace the alternator in my husbands car. Went in to get my seat belt replaced. When I arrived they told me there would be an up front cost to remove the side panel and look at the belt and see what needed fixed. I told them I had already done that and was confident the whole assembly needed swapped out but agreed given the importance of having a functioning seat belt on the driver side. After looking at it, they quoted a price that was far higher than I was comfortable paying given the parts and labor. Despite not going through with the quote, the shop offered to refund my upfront cost stating they didnt feel right taking that much money for the quick inspection. Most places would not do this and simply pocket the cash. They also drove me back to work when I initially dropped off the car free of charge. The repair didnt work out for me given the cost, but the service was top notch and I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for honest auto service in the area.
