Greg Williams is a awesome mechanic. I had my sons 2001Tahoe towed there because AAA recommended them. Little did I know it was the best decision I could’ve made. He fixed my sons Tahoe where another company told me to junk it and only charged me 1/2 the price the other company wanted for just one thing. Greg was so nice every time I called to check on his progress with the truck. I highly recommend Max’s, I know they have a new customer in me. Thank you so much Greg!!!

Not happy with service charged me 3000.00 dollars to change timing in a Cadillac CTS. My car had not worked correct since.Everytime so call Greg I get the runaround and wants to charge me more money when everything that was on the system report should have been fixed.I don’t like being taken advantage of.Plus he lost the screws to the cover in my BMW and never replaced them giving me lies every time I call him.I plan on filing a negative report with BBB and the consumer protection bureau and small claims court.

We are out of state with a child in college in NC . Car needed to be towed.We contacted Greg and he went above and beyond what we would expect. The car got towed to the shop on a Friday-by Monday afternoon problem was taken care of and my child had the car back. Greg is top notch-I know if we have anymore car issues while our daughter is at school-no questions asked we will be going back to see Greg. They were really friendly and very informative. I felt like I could trust them with my car. I initially went to get a new headlight assembly installed. They ordered the parts I needed and contacted me as soon as the parts came in. I was told that I could come in at anytime. I really liked the fact that they were able to complete the job in a timely manner and for a fair price!

Luckily I found that Maxs Auto Service worked on Range Rovers which was great considering they were local to me. I spoke with Greg to start and he was very understanding of the problems and was fantastic to deal with. With the issues I was having Greg was great with communication and fixed everything I needed leaving me very pleased with their service. I would recommend them to anyone needing any automotive work done and will be dealing with them again, top notch!

My car broke down on a trip. I was still 2 hours away from my destination so I looked up auto services. I am so glad I called Maxs Auto Service. Greg was so helpful & kind. He quickly determined what was wrong & made sure that the parts would be available the next day. It was late and repairs would have to wait till the following day so he kindly gave me a ride to the hotel I found and then even picked me up there the following morning. The next day the repairs were completed so quickly and my car is running wonderful! I would highly recommend this business!

By far the WORST experience I’ve ever had getting a car “repaired.” Our son’s car sat for weeks while we waited for them to diagnose the issue. Our son was rough on the car and we had no problem waiting. But TWO TOWS BACK TO THE SHOP AND A LOT OF MONEY LATER, IT’S STILL NOT FIXED. We were told we could pick it up yesterday (again), well we came a day later and they claimed they got the wrong part in and couldn’t fix the car. Mind you, I told Greg we are not giving you all anymore money!! This car should have been fixed. We could have bought a used car for what we paid to get this one still broken and barely on the road from Max Auto. We expected a professional, honest opinion. If they couldn’t fix the car, we should have been told from the beginning!!!

Mr Greg is so good to me that it has brought me to tears after I’ve drove away a time or two! He surely knows how to create a repeat customer. I’ve never had any issues with any work he and his crew have done on my car and they never do anything ridiculous or unnecessary. He’s even honest about things that can wait a little longer. I’m a single mother that bought a used, 10 year old BMW a few hundred miles before it’s age and 100k miles problems hit it like a ton of bricks. I have no fear that I’ll ever be taken advantage of at Max’s Auto Service. I trust NO ONE else with my BMW, not even my nearest BMW dealership’s service department! You can really tell that Mr Greg learned from one of the best and I know he’s got to be making Mr Max proud!! I appreciate y’all!!

My 2000 Pontiac Sunfire SE s A/C unit was blowing hot air. I took it to Maxs Auto they handled it the same day by checking and charging the A/C unit. I am a happy camper now. My car is very, very cool for this July weather.. I will try Maxs Auto Serrvice for future repairs. Thanks Greg!

Excellent service on our Jaguar

Took my 97 Lexus ES300 in for what I thought was a rear wheel bearing noise. I was told it was the struts. Authorized replacing of all 4 struts. Got car back with extreme pulling to the left (into on coming traffic). I returned the car for further diagnosis/repair. The car was returned with the pulling not as bad but still existed. Took the car to a Toyota dealer where they diagnosed the issue. Returned the car to Max with report from dealer. Got the car back with the same issue. Took the car to Toyota for replacement of all 4 struts. The issue was resolved.

Had 3 things going on with my 2012 Chevy Impala (spark plugs, intake manifold gasket and valve gasket needed replacing) Greg and his crew was friendly, nice and very knowledgable when it came to vehicles. My car hasnt drove this good since I purchased it 4 years ago. He even noticed that someone put way to much oil in my vehicle and offered to drain it. You can tell that they genuinely cares about their work and want to see everyone one driving problem free, he doesnt mind fixing anyone mistakes. Even if what is being done may cost a pretty penny, they make sure you get your moneys worth and also make your aware and comfortable on everything that is being done with your vehicle. After driving my car 2 hours after it was serviced I felt great about finally spending my money on good service, good results and great performance. This is where I will be getting my car serviced for now on. Thank you Max Auto!!

Maxs Auto Service goes above and beyond - they keep the owner informed, complete the work as promised, and always make time for any questions their customers may have, etc. They even called us Thanksgiving morning so our son could pick up his car and have it for the long weekend. Maxs Auto Service is now our go-to place for auto repairs!

This shop is fantastic, trustworthy and the people that work there are friendly and really care about what they do. I had my timing plate, harmonic balancer, timing chain, water pump, oil pump and a few other engine part replaced here after my car broke down outside of Goldsboro. I was staying about 120 miles away in Wilmington, and was 450 miles away from my home in Connecticut. However I was lucky enough to find Maxs auto and to have the job come in at a affordable price and in good time. Greg event came in on a Saturday at no extra charge to put in a PCV valve, and then called us to make sure that our drive back home went okay, and that there was no additional problems. If you need an engine rebuild I would Highly recommend this shop, Thank you so much guys!!!!
