Every person that I worked with at The Bee was extremely professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Russell came out to do the estimate very promptly, and took the time to explain everything that was going into the project and answer any and all questions that I had. Zach and Adrian completed the installation of the new A/C unit, they both arrived exactly on time and completed the install very quickly. They were diligent in their work, and it is very evident that they take pride in their work and do a very good job. I will definitely be using them for any future HVAC needs that I have.

Hands down, no question, BEST priced company for having your swamp cooler started and tuned up for the season. Danny was professional and awesome and did a fantastic job getting us set up for the season. We had an ill-fitting nozzle thing, and a missing drainage hose on the unit, and Danny fixed everything up perfect so we wouldnt have to go another night in a super hot house. They were very quick to help us with our A/C and HVAC issue. Once the work was done they were going to give a quote for a new A/C , this did not happen. The seal work that was done on the HVAC did not hold, and after I called them to check in on the A/C quote and request them to come and fix the previous work done they said they would call me back with a time and information same day...Ive waited a week and have called and left messages with no call back. Very frustrating to say the least.

My husband and I were out of town for the weekend and saw on our thermostat app that the inside temperature was dropping, even though it said the heat was on. We had our cats at home and our house sitter was unable to figure out why the heat was not turning on. We called The Bee Heat and AC on a Saturday morning and they got back to us within an hour or two and we were able to easily set up the appointment. The technician was out to our property within an hour of talking to the first person and had to replace the furnace filter. We have problems with our boiler and we were without heat and hot water for 16 hours. I called The Bee Heat and AC at 8 AM. 3 hours later Brian (a technician) came, diagnosed the problem and temporarily fixed it so we could have heat and hot water in our home. He has not charged us for the visit and his service (!!!).Down the road some parts of our heating system will need to be replaced, and he gave me an estimate for such repair.Quick and professional service. I can’t recommend The Bee enough. This is a real honest, hardworking company who treats their customers like gold. We had the Bee install a new AC unit. They were prompt, polite, and fair and did the work in a timely manner. Two years later, the caps on the AC were leaking coolant. Not only did they refill the coolant and fix the caps for free, but they noticed a leak in our water heater at the same time and fixed it, with no additional charge. The Bees service impressed me from the start. Calling to setup an appointment was easy and Rebecca was super friendly and easy to work with. I was given a 2 hour window from 10-12 and i got a call at 10:04 saying Obed was on his way and would be there in 15 min. When I came home from work to a cold house and furnace that wouldnt come on, I thought wed end up in a motel for sure. But the Bee returned my call and came out quick enough that the house was warmed back up before bedtime. Good service that came at a good time.

This company earned our business through a competitive bid process. We put them against 6 other local companies and they rose to the top. By happenstance, we got a fantastic deal on some top of the line equipment. We were shopping to replace our janky old evaporative cooler and 30 year old oversized furnace. We upgraded to full central air and a modern furnace.Howard came out and gave us a quote, measured up the job, and was honest and straight forward (never attempted to oversell, and in fact, sold us on proper equipment that wasnt top of the line efficiency since wed likely never recover the cost). Russell and Obed came out and busted their behinds and were super professional and diligent. Prior to discovering The Bee, we had called a company we had used before out to service our furnace. Apart from discovering our furnace was condemned, the other company’s employee gave us the wrong date of manufacture on our furnace and did something that made the fan create a VERY loud high pitched squeal we could hear anywhere in the house. When we called the company back their technician assured us the squeal was coincidental and the only way to fix it was to replace the furnace.We then called The Bee for a second quote on a new furnace, and the owner himself came out to do the quote (which was a lower cost than the quote from the first company). He told us the correct date of manufacture on our unit and was able to immediately stop the squealing, thank goodness!! Obviously, we went with The Bee to replace our furnace!The Bee’s customer service is top notch, and both times we called they were able to come out the same day. We are now several months into our new furnace which is working like a dream, and they just came out and successfully trouble-shooted the wiring on our self-installed humidifier system. They will definitely be who we call for any future needs!

These guys were really great to work with and had great communication with me throughout process. The initial diagnoses was wrong but they stood by there service and came back out and fixed it. Very honest and friendly so will be calling them for any issues I have in the future.

Adrian was professional and showed up on time. He quickly diagnosed the problem with my boiler as a failed gas valve, not the thermocouple problem I thought it was. He was able to replace it in a relatively short time and gave me an estimate to replace a zone valve that isn’t working correctly. I will have that replaced within the next week.

The owner came out to give me an estimate. It was very fair. He even threw in a discount because I was a teacher as was his mom! He made sure I had the proper size unit and ensured that my furnace could last a little longer, so I appreciate him not trying to sell me things I didnt need at the time. I will recommend Howard Bynder time and time again!

My buddy recommended this company when my AC went out, so I gave them a call. They were super responsive and friendly. During my first scheduled appointment the techs prior appointments ran long (these things happen) and he never showed. The company offered to waive the inspection fees and sent the tech out early the next day. Adrian came out and assessed the problem, gave me a quote promptly then installed the new units quickly and efficiently. These expenses are never fun but the folks at The Bee made it as pleasant as I think it can be.

I contacted Busy Bee Heating and Cooling when my heater started acting up. There had been cooler weather for about two weeks and my heater was fine, but of course the first truly cold day and it started acting up. It was supposed to be much colder that night and I really wanted to get it fixed before nightfall. I contacted Busy Bee around noon and they said they would have a technician out between 6:30 and 8:00. The technician was running late, but did call to let me know because he wanted to make sure I was still okay with him coming later than 8:00. I was and he showed up around 8:30. He was very professional, explained exactly what he found, what he had to do to fix it and he cleaned up after he was done. He even helped me understand the built in humidifier and what I needed to do to that to get it working properly. He was in and out in about 30 minutes. The next day I got a call from Busy Bee wanting to know if I was satisfied. I was more than satisfied. I have found my heating and cooling repair company. No more shopping for this service. They were very pleasant to deal with, professional and their pricing was very good. I highly recommend them.

Fair, honest, and on time!

We needed a new a/c and furnace. I had 4 separate companies come out and bid the project. Howard (the owner) came out the same day for the quote and had the estimates to me by the next day. Of all the quotes I got, his was the only one that included pulling permits (which after doing a bunch of research was one of the things experts said should always be done by professional companies) and theyre not cheap. His prices were straight forward (I paid the same amount as what we agreed upon before the installation). He literally stayed until 1 in the morning to get everything finished the day of the installation. Everything works great, and the temp in my house is AMAZING!!While Ive only had the new units for a couple days so far, I was extremely impressed with the process of bidding and installation and would highly recommend them. Ive recommended them to my neighbors and plan to re-review in the winter once the furnace starts to be used.Added since initial post:The one negative thing I want to share is that when I had the inspector come to sign off on the install, he did require additional combustible air volume in the basement in order to sign off on it. This required putting a 6 vent to the outside of my home. When I called up Busy Bee, they said it was not included in the original quote and it would cost an additional service visit. I declined, since this is really easy to do. I just wish it was included originally in the quote, and just done at the time of the install.I still would give them 5 stars, but just wanted to let people know about the extra visit thing

Our furnace started making terrible noises (remember Home Alone? kind of like that) right before it was supposed to get really cold. After calling around a bit we were able to get someone from The Bee HVAC to come out just a few days later. Our technician (Russell) discovered that the inducer had gone bad...bummer but not surprising on a 15 year old furnace.After giving us a clear and straightforward explanation of our options we chose to replace the furnace instead of doing an expensive repair. The Bee HVAC was able to get us on the schedule a mere two days later, which was great considering the first snow of the year was forecast. Russell and his apprentice came on time (despite the poor road conditions) and completed a tough install in a tight space...they even gave us a beefier unit than the one we originally discussed (which was out of stock) without increasing the quoted price!All in all excellent experience, responsive on the customer service front and Russell was obviously very knowledgeable, giving us clear and frequent updates before/during/after the install. We highly recommend The Bee for your HVAC needs!

Great service. Polite, respectful, and thorough. The Tech. spent 1.5 hours for routine maintenance and cleaning at a charge of just $59. Definitely my highest recommendation.

The Bee picked up my initial call and was able to schedule a tech to come out to look at my furnace that same night. My furnace stopped igniting right before a cold snap, so it was great that a tech was able to come out so fast. The tech, Howard Bynder, came by at 8pm on Friday night, diagnosed the problem, and came back on Saturday with parts to fix it (I opted to wait for the operating hours of the parts house on Saturday morning). He wore gloves, a facemask (for those reading this in the future, this was at the height of the Covid-19 pandemic), and plastic boot covers so that my floors stayed clean. He was professional, and he talked me through everything he was doing. Next time I have furnace or AC issues, I will call Howard.

Definitely not the cheapest in town but they don’t BS you. I had another company install my ecobee but failed to installed the PEK (power extension kit). Obed called when he was en route we discussed the issue and he knew right away I had blown a fuse and needed the pek installed. He told me 95 or so per half hour of labor I agreed, he said it wouldn’t take long and sure enough 30 mins later he got it all hooked up and working great.I got a new furnace filter installed too. Everything came out to $230 which was very reasonable for what they did. The fact they don’t lie mislead or try to up sell was so nice. I flip a lot of homes and will probably call these guys on the next job. Pretty impressed 👍🏻

Howard revamped our forced-air heating system: replaced the furnace inducer motor, added a heat register to an unheated bathroom ceiling, removed old and deteriorating insulation from the ducts, replaced much of the duct work and sealed all joints, and disassembled and removed an old furnace unit that had been left in the attic.We were extremely pleased with his work. Prior to finding Busy Bee, we had two other furnace technicians come out to diagnose the problem. Each of them had a different opinion, but Howards was the most informed and best explained. His knowledge--and his ability to explain complex information--was far superior to the that of the other technicians. Re: scheduling, he was responsive and communicative--keeping us up-to-date on his schedule, even though we were in the midst of a brutal cold snap and he had multiple no-heat calls to attend to.On the day of the work he was timely and efficient. He was especially sensitive to my concerns about cleanliness. This was a messy attic job--many materials had to be removed from the attic and through the house--and Howard did a great job protecting the floors, disposing of refuse through a nearby window when possible, and cleaning up and removing all materials when finished.Since the work, our system is running much better--blowing stronger and operating with greater efficiency. I highly recommend Howard and Busy Bee Heating and Cooling.

We got a new AC and furnace installed through Busy Bee, Howard was extremely patient with our questions (I had no idea there was so much to choosing a furnace and AC). Howard did a great job of explaining the pros and cons of each option, was never pushy about anything, and worked with us on pricing. I feel like we got a great deal from Busy Bee and the product they install is great. Sam, whom installed our AC/furnace was professional, curtious, and did quality work. I honestly dont think I will consider anyone aside from Busy Bee for HVAC work in the future.

I feel he prides his business on honesty and integrity as well as gives back to the community which was very refreshing.The scheduler, (Jessica I think was her name) was very helpful as well, and we feel went above and beyond which was greatly appreciated.After having some bad experiences in the past with other HVAC businesses who seemed shady, due to things like blatant “wrong diagnosis” resulting in a “HIGH cost” quote in the “thousands of dollars” price range after compared to final “actual costs” when we had to call out their misdiagnosis due to our own research and IN ADDITION to offering completely unnecessary and not asked for expensive up sells, which wasn’t what we wanted or needed at those times.My overall experience was very pleasant, no games, extremely competitive with first quote and a respectful crew from the start to finish. We will ALWAYS use Busy Bee in the future for as long as we live in this house.

We hired Busy Bee to do 2 unrelated jobs. First, the AC in the house we just bought wasnt working. Howard came as scheduled and seemed to track down the cause of our problem. His initial approach was to do the most conservative option, yet he guaranteed his work and was glad to return to try the next logical option.Second, we had him install a household humidifier on our furnace. He seemed to do a good job. Howard tested it to make sure it was running OK before he left. Well know for sure when it cools off enough for us to want to use the heat.Howard and Busy have been a pleasure to work with. A neighbor recommended them and were glad he did.

Living in the mountains, near Black Hawk, it can be difficult to find reputable companies for home maintenance and repairs. What a relief to find Busy Bee!My gas furnace started making funny noises in the middle of December. Sure enough, when I started calling furnace repair places, some of them were quoting astronomical fees - price gouging - because of the time of year and because of our location. Busy Bee did NOT do that! They quoted me a very reasonable price for an annual maintenance visit, and they were able to send someone to check out my furnace right away.The technician, Sam, politely called before showing up, arrived on time, was neat and professional, and did NOT try to take advantage of us or add on extra charges. He was obviously technically savvy and well-educated about environmental control systems. He walked me through everything he did and explained how to keep my furnace operating smoothly in the future.I will definitely be hiring Busy Bee again!

I highly recommend this company. My furnace was having issues, so I called a different company. Their man told me I needed a new furnace! However Howard from The Bee came out and was able to repair it. He did say that it is old and will need to be replaced in the future.He came out here on Saturday afternoon, found the part he needed in Denver, went and picked up the part on Saturday night, came here to make the repair on Sunday afternoon. I cant say enough good things about my experience with this company. I found them through Angies list, top rated. Howard came out for an initial visit, and due to the current error codes on my furnace recommended a particular service. I scheduled that, and Sam was very efficient and on-time with the whole job. However, after the job was finished, different error codes were being triggered and he was able to come back within an hour to get the furnace back up and running. Excellent service, and they were both happy to explain to me what was going on so I could understand.

Our furnace stopped working on a night when it was supposed to get to -1. We were very concerned that our pipes would burst. I called 12 other heating companies and either they werent able to help or they didnt carry the part that was needed. Busy Bee saved the day!! The team was responsive, courteous and their pricing was very fair. One company had quoted us a price that was 4x higher than Busy Bee just because it was an after hours call on a freezing evening! They did such a great job installing our new central air unit. Very nice, professional company. I originally got a quote from Sears for over $7,500 for a new central air unit and Busy Bee only charged me $4600 for the same exact unit including install and a new thermostat. These guys are honest and do not overcharge you or try to sell you things you dont need. You can tell the owner takes a lot of pride in his company and it shows. Ten star. Howard is a genius, the David Copperfield of boilers. His staff (Garret and Alex) are also amazing. Extremely competent, thoughtful, and reasonable. If youre new to HVAC repair or new to the area, dont go with anyone else. These guys are efficient, honest and will leave you comfortable in every way...value, experience and trust.

Im very happy with Howard and his small business Busy Bee AC. He troubleshot my AC system which had frozen up - and was even willing to climb up on my roof to check the compressor (which is very steep!). He spent two hours cleaning coils, replacing the filter and replenishing my refrigerant. Did it all for a competitive price. I will use them again in the future!

They are busy so it took awhile to have a time when they could show however they kept me informed and replaced the blower on our upstairs furnace.
