Customer service truly does not exist at this location. I couldnt believe how rude the two girls working on July 23rd around 10:30am. When I brought back my rental the girl told me she couldnt check me in because they were busy and told me she would just email the receipt. About an hour later I received email with additional.charges, which is why I wanted to be checked out while I was present, because I knew this would happen. Not only is poor business practice, but unethical.

I came to rent a 15’ foot van and asked if I would be able to rent it for multiple days. After finding out that I couldn’t I said ok I’ll just take it for the day then. My thoughts were I’d just have to accelerate the timeline. The store associate said she wouldn’t because she knew I wouldn’t return the van on time. She said she didn’t want to have to deal with reporting it stolen. They even told me to just go to another one. The women here don’t want to work don’t waste your time.

Horrible experience. Someone tried breaking into our unit and in the process smashed our latch so bad that the door is now jammed. The cop said this location “gets hit all the time.” It’s been over a month and our door hasn’t been touched, all our items inside are inaccessible. Our house caught fire and we needed storage immediately. I asked for a temporary unit to use while our was being repaired, and the two girls working at this location were incredibly mean and rude. I then asked for at least a refund of my rent since I couldn’t access my unit which they reluctantly did but they didn’t put any note in the system and so it looked like I had cancelled my payment and now I’ve been charge a late fee and a pre-lien fee because it looks like I never paid that month.No one returns emails and calling just takes you to an automated menu.Biggest headache ever. Go literally anywhere else.

Horrible experience, the Manager Coty & Assisant manager Jennifer would not adjust the mileage in the computer to the correct number that was on the truck. Since they were too lazy to correct it we asked for another truck instead they took the keys from me and told me to go some where else. We went over to Dunlap & I-17 and they were great!!!! Dont waste your time going to this location .

Do not use this Location, much better experience at I-17 and Peoria. Jennifer (Manager) Coty (assistant manager) would not help us, the mileage on our paper was qqqmore than what was on the truck. Both had an attitude like they were better than us and wouldnt change the mileage to show the correct mileage. We own a staging business and rent trucks weekly sometimes twice a week. So we understand how the system works, Jennifee sent a text to us to change it via text but it said message error so we went inside & told her. They both said that it will work just wait, with their attitudes we didnt trust them so asked her to do it again, she sent another text and it said message error again. We asked that she change it, No sorry I cannot do that youll need to wait until the website catches up at this point we didnt trust either one of them. We want you to update the miledge before we leave or give us a different truck, she asked for the keys then proceeded to tell us they will mo longer rent to us. I went outside and called the Tempe Store at Apache and asked him what we should do since we use him most of the time, he said they absolutely could change that mileage and told us to call corporate. We have Uhaul movers waiting for us so we went down the road and had a very pleasant experience. Id say save yourself the headache and $$$$ and go down the street.

My biggest mistake was not looking at the reviews before coming to this location. The first girl was very helpful. Why I threw in the extra star. But the fake blonde haired person was very unwilling to assist. Not very knowledgeable in towing nor any customer service. You need a trailer or dolly try another location or home dept was cheaper and willing to help find the right set up

I often use U-haul trucks for moving, it is hard to find locations with great customer service, but today was a rare exception. I was helped by Matheau Bunn and he went above and beyond to make sure I had what I needed. Matheau set the bar high for customer service at U-Haul, and made the whole task of moving just a little bit easier.

Unfortunately this is a dishonest location charge me 29 miles which I only drove 17 and there truck had less gas than what was on the contract renters beware

Damien Camacho has no clue what hes talking about. I rented an auto transport, the website said my vehicle fit... it did not... My car is completely stock.. just bought it. He said it could have been modified.. what the?? Hes obviously not qualified to even work at UHAUL. sad.

I ordered a hitch over 3 weeks ago and it still has not been delivered. The store does not call to give updates they simply rescheduled the appointment continuously without checking with me or updating me on if the rescheduled appointment will be canceled. I called and asked for a refund which they said they would process but never did. I had to call the customer service line to finally get my refund and cancel the order.

The team here is amazing! Dallas even helped me charge a blown fuse on our Hummer to get the trailer lights working! Very impressed!

New management is shady, the white lady with blonde hair who doesn’t have the least bit of customer service. I had a trailer stolen 3 weeks ago, and the manager won’t answer, or return anyone’s calls or emails to the police not the insurance company regarding the two videos they have of my trailer getting stolen. I then when I go in to ask her about it, instead of talking directly to me, she talks through her employee to tell me instead of being the manager and handling the situation at HER location. If you ask me, they are in on my trailer theft, and the multiple storage units being broken into durning the last month by a huge Rv that’s been living on site which is illegal, they are probably in on that too.

Propane is always “down” I suggest going to another one

I went there earlier today to rent a storage unit and was helped by a new employee. He was very friendly, but he missed quite a few important details. After completing the transaction, I went to check out my unit. I was not offered to be shown where it was by the office staff, and when I tried to get in through the doors, they didnt open. The janitor informed me I needed to use my card.I was not given a card. I had to go back inside and ask for my card. Not a big deal at this point. I was given my card and was able to get in. When I went to the basement to view my unit, it was locked. I was informed by the personnel in there that I needed approval for them to remove the lock.I spoke with the manager Coty, and she said it was approved. So I went to get back in, and the door would not open. After standing there for a few minutes, I went back inside and spoke with Coty again (who was too busy to make sure I had everything I needed to complete my transaction). She then informed me it would take 24 hours for my card to open the doors even though it was checking me in and out.She then pointed out a door that I could use that was in the office (would have been helpful to mention during the rental transaction). I then went and found the janitor and let him know that Coty authorized the removal of the lock. He removed it and asked me where my lock was. I told him that I was told they werent provided and would have to buy my own (and was not told they sold them there), and he told me that it should have been.I returned to the office again, and asked Coty if I could ask her a quick question, (about the lock), and she told me Id have to wait until she finished helping the customer she was with. I then told her that I had not been fully helped, and she ignored. I only wanted to question about the lock.At this point, I was thoroughly frustrated with this entire ordeal. When it was my turn, I inquired about the lock in which she told me how am I supposed to know you werent offered a lock? in a rude tone.I then told her that I would like a refund since if its this difficult now, why would I want to continue this agreement. She then told me, and in a very rude tone with angry facial features that Dont take this out on him, hes new!I said I wanted a refund again, and it was processed. The issue here is that they had a new employee with no training, the manager didnt care, and the rudeness when trying to get everything straightened out.I dont work there, so how am I supposed to know the procedure? Coty is a terrible manager, and if you, the owner, check this, please re-think your employee decisions.

I do not recommend UHAUL. I was charged a security deposit which hasnt been refunded to me. Its been over a month since I returned my rental. Each time I called I left contact information and no one has reached out to me.

Michelle the closing manager was EXTREMELY patient after they had even closed I would DEFINITELY recommend to friends and family in the future and will now be my go to UHaul location in the the west valley!

I went in to get a storage unit and Damien Camacho the same person that helped me rent a truck a few years ago helped me get a storage unit in less than 25 minutes. He answered all my questions and helped me pick out the perfect unit for my storage needs. I only went in because I had a heard time trying to rent the unit online. I am so grateful that he was able to help me in store. Both of my experiences at this location have been very good. I will only use this location for any of my UHaul needs and I only use UHaul. Thank you very much Mr. Camacho, and UHaul for everything.

Office is very clean, and supplies well stocked. Personnel at the counter provide great customer services. As I was standing in line listening to them take care of customers when I got up to the counter I was treated just as well. Overall in my opinion this business is managed well, and provide a great asset to the community. In the future should I need rental equipment in the Glendale, AZ area I will go here. Thank you

I was helping my mother move. We needed a hitch on the vehicle. It was extremely hard to get on. Gustavo went out of his way installing the hitch. Most people would have have up. He spent a lot of time to ensure it was installed properly so my mother and sister could make it to Texas. I was truly impressed and will let all my friends know to use this location. Thank you again for ensuring we stayed on schedule and that my family would arrive safely!

I am only giving one star because it isn’t possible to give zero stars. I made a reservation for this location and completed the Express Check In online. However, I still was forced to wait an hour to pick up the trailer I rented due to the manager, Damien, only scheduling one employee at the desk. Then, despite me paying for and reminding the clerk about the appliance dolly, they did not include the dolly in the rental. When I called about the issue, I was placed on hold yet again. Unfortunately, this is not the first time I have been subjected to unprofessional issues with this Uhaul location. They used to be great at this Uhaul, but since Damien became the manager, this location has become a disorganized mess. I highly suggest you rent your equipment somewhere else that has their act together.

Came here to rent a truck & trailer, it took 40 minutes for the manager to get my stuff situated when it shouldve been done before I got there HENCE THE RESERVATION 24 hours in advance. I barley made it to my destination in a timely manner. The truck smelled as if a large family smoked a carton of cigarettes in there and the manager did nothing to resolve the issue. I returned here today to rent a truck & trailer, with a reservation, but when I show up Im told theres no trailer. Whats going on with guys? Im not renting from here ever again

This Uhaul location is run by a moron. Its always unorganized, no one knows what theyre doing, and they love to waste peoples time.

Never really had any issues with this place until the last 6 or 8 mos. Seems like the manager has a bit of an attitude problem, or a God complex. Time for a change of careers bud.

One of my work trucks broke down!!! Needed one ASAP. Got me a pickup that day and hauled my trailer around perfectly. Considering just renting from now on # add up. No truck payment, No insurance, No registration, No repair bills.Only thing that will get you is Milage on long travel.

I cant say anything terrible. It just isnt for me. I got it in a pinch because of the free offer if I rented their truck I was given a free month of storage in the unit of our choice. We werent told that it was closing at 7pm. And the last @ loads are allowed to be unloaded by 6pm. And because we rented sight unseen, we found it to be an indoor facility. Dang! We had to put everything on a cart anroll many trips back an forth to my unit.And this was the next day. I had to pay the movers to come back the next day.Wrapping it up:They close too earlyThey have a huge late fee 3 days after due date.They will not work with you at all on your payschedule.Yet the manager is a very nice man in all appearances.But I am going to find another storage business that suits my needs. They also have prices at least 20% higher.But they were clean

Best Uhaul location Ive ever been to.Lots of parking, easy drive-in and -out for getting and returning your truck, inside is clean and well organised. Manager and the other employee I worked with were amazing!Super easy (faster than most) check-in, and even better and faster return.

I used Uhaul 4 different times within the last 3 years. They have always been super friendly & extremely helpful. I always need a 26 truck for 2 days or more. As long as I put in my reservation early enough to give them time to have the sized truck I need, for the amount of days I request, they have always come through for me & my family. I have & will continue to send all my friends & family to them for their moves!

So I needed to get my car towed after an accident and got the tow kit from this Uhual location. Damien Camacho, the GM was super nice. But a huge high five to Sergio Arredondo, who helped me get everything hooked up, and then handled a very irate, rude customer, who arrived after I did, and was not his turn with AMAZING customer service. I was wowed by him. I wanted to tell the other customer who was not nice at all, to stop, and let him finish helping me. Sergio was a champ, he asked him to please be patient, he will be with him in 6 Minutes. 6 Minutes and this customer kept complaining and Sergio continued to have a high level of customer service. Thanks Sergio! You are a rock star.

The lady that helped me at this place asked me will you be returning the truck at this location or dropping it off at your destination? To which I responded which is cheaper? My destination was in Ahwatukee 35 miles away. She answered with a very affirming face and voice oh, no difference in price, just the mileage if you were to drive it back. I selected to drop it off at my destination. Next day at the drop off location I see the posted rate on the truck I had rented, a 20ft truck 39.95 a day, I asked someone, why I been charged 100 dollars and not 39.95? and was told because I had booked a one way rental and not an in town rental. Complete blatant misinformation. 60 dollars difference. Never again will I rent from uhaul or recommend to anyone.

When you call this business, you have to give your name, phone number, e-mail and address for them to answer a simple question like Do you have any storage units available? That is absolutely ridiculous! Please heed the warning and DO NOT USE THIS FACILITY! I have rented trucks from them in the past that should not be allowed to be on the street. When I stepped on the brake the truck accelerated. Why they allow vehicles like this to be on the road is beyond me. Buyer Beware...do not use this location!

We have used uhaul for a very long time. This was the worst experience Ive ever had with them. We broke down on the side of the road. They sent road side assistance, which he was great. When we took the truck back the guy onsite, Sergio was saying well were not charging you for bringing the truck back late like he was doing us a favor. Then when I spoke to Damien he said the same thing like he was doing us a favor.

If I could give no stars at all, I would have. Called the phone number listed for this location yesterday. Needed a Pickup Truck to move a chair and a small desk. The female I spoke to said it would be $19.95 + 59 cents a mile. I asked if there would be ANY OTHER FEES? She said NO! Got my whole family ready this morning, drove down to this location to get the truck. The man behind the counter advised there are extra insurance fees, and a $140 deposit on top of the $19.95 and 59 cents a mile.I advised that is not what the woman I spoke to on the phone yesterday said. He became arrogant and haughty. The other man I was dealing with offered me a box truck for an $80 deposit. When I told him that I didnt even know if I had the money available on my debit card, he said Well you can put $1,000 Cash deposit down. Okay, so lets review. I JUST told this guy the whole issue was having the deposit money available in our bank at this time. And he asks if I can put down a $1000 cash deposit?!?!!On top of being rude, haughty, and berating, they arent the brightest light bulbs in the box. DO NOT GO TO THIS UHAUL Location unless you like it from behind and like to be treated like a steaming pile of cow dung.

Went to get propane filled. Rang bell and waited 15 minutes. Someone finally said “I will be with you in just a minute”....waited another 15 minutes. Rang bell again. Waited even more but no one ever came out. Will not be returning to this location.

Me and my wife had a hitch installed on our vehicle at this location last Thursday, we where informed they needed to order an extra part they had to pick up from surprise, when we picked up our SUV we noticed it was missing 30miles in gas milage,we called to asked them if our vehicle had been driven since they never mentioned it was going to be driven,we called the manager Damian to his cell left vm and also at the store,today is Saturday just a lil over a week and still not heard from him so unprofessional

The worst U-Haul out there. One morning I waited 40 minutes as the manager was getting my reservation ready when it shouldve been ready prior to arrival, I had placed my reservation over 24 hrs before I had showed up. So that made me extremely late to what I had to do that day. A few days later I placed another reservation for the same type of equipment and it was guaranteed to be there. I showed up and waited about 10 minutes before the manager even acknowledged that I was standing just inches away on the other side of the counter as he helped someone else. A simple Hello, Ill be with you shortly would be sufficient but instead I got I dont have your truck & trailer until this afternoon, sorry. How is it that I can make a reservation with more than a 24 hr notice and it not be ready? I will never do business with this location again because of the lack of customer service and the poor business practices.

Used to be a great place and the GM is new and seems to be trying but the other staff dont seem to care about anything. Is try a different location.

- Everything was good up to the returning of the Uhaul, I had gotten the uhaul around 5:30 on a Tuesday February 13th. I was able to move all of my things in one trip so I decided to return the uhaul that same day and it was around 11pm already. There was a sign that said to download the app if you wanted to return it after hours. I did everything that the app said but at the end when it’s supposed to process my card it would not go through. I tried a couple of different cards and nothing. I decided to take it back with me and I’d turn it in the next day right after work since I got off at 1pm anyways. The following morning I get a phone call around 8am that why hadn’t I turned it my uhaul already and where the vehicle was at because he had a reservation for it at 10:30am. I explained that what had happened with the app. And all he told me was that I just had to put the key in the box. There was NEVER no explanation on what to do after hours only the app, and even in the app it said nothing about the keys. He said they were gonna charge me another day if I didn’t have it in by 10am February 14th. It hadn’t even been 24 hours and they were going to charge me another day! Uhaul needs to have better communication with their customers by letting them know by what time the vehicle needs to be turned in by, and it shouldn’t charge another day if it hasn’t even been 24 hours !

This uhaul center has.definitely done a 360 turnaround since the change in management a month ago. The staff seems to have it under control, and its a much more relaxed and less tense feeling when going through the rental process. The staff really does know the business and always helpful and courteous. Despite needing another counter help employee to speed the already small wait times, you cant go wrong going here for all your DIY moving needs. Id give this uhaul a 7 out of 10 overall, unfortunately the assistant mgr / hitchpro who was at the center for 3 yrs and a asset to U-Haul no longer works for the company or this center would get a solid 9 out of 10 but sometimes those corporate guys dont make good decisions and lose good, loyal, hardworking employees only to realize their mistakes later after its too late.
