I got the worse Pedicure I have ever gotten today. The male is young black short spikey hair and his pedicure is the worse I have ever gotten. He ran the nail file literally once over each toenail, and when he got to my baby toe he just tapped it with the file. He did not push my cuticles back only pretended like he was doing that and you cannot pretend that service. When he went to scrub my HEELS he did under my foot but NOT MY HEELS. Actually the only thing he did well was Polish my toenails. I should have gotten up off the chair when I first saw how this was going but its embarrasing to do that and I was praying he would do better but he did not. HE WAS NOT WORTH THE MONEY AT ALL . I was recomended by a friend to come here but I WILL NEVER RETURN---WHAT A WASTE OF MONEY FOR ME

This place is under new management and the new owner Lee is amazing! I have been going to her since she was at Star Nails. There hasnt been a design yet that I have found online that Lee wasnt able to replicate. She is so creative and whenever I cant decide how I want my nails done, I leave it up to her and she never disappoints. Everyone at this place is so nice and accommodating.

Loved this place that my bridal party picked prior to my wedding! I highly recommend them to anyone! They are so friendly and really listen to what you need done!

Been here a few times and my nails always look fabulous! I recommend making an appointment because they do get very busy. The woman who did my no-chip most recently did a fantastic job and I received so many compliments on them - many people thought they were acrylic.Only once did I wait a long time, even after making an appointment on a weekday. However, I received an extra long massage during my pedicure, free offer to upgrade to dipped, and $5 off my bill due to the inconvenience.

It was great to be back! I felt comfortable with the added safety measures to prevent the spread of Covid19. As always, Anthony did a great job on my pedi.

Awesome nail salon! For starters, I’m super hard on my nails as I work with my hands. I’ve been going here for approximately 6 months and my gel manicure always lasts for 3 weeks Also, I don’t have difficulties with the polish being attached to my cuticles. I love, love, love this place!

They are all efficient, patient, and very kind/courteous.

Be prepared for surprise charges and speak up if you dont like the result because they dont care if your polish is smudged or lumpy. They rush through the process with little regard for customer satisfaction. I will be trying a new place next time for a dip manicure. I gave them 3 chances, each time I left disappointed with what I paid for in the end.

I felt like 3 different people worked on me. Nobody was willing to put in effort. Waste of money. My acrylic nails broke 3 times within 3 days of getting them done!

I tried this shop for the first time and it looks nice but the the man that did my nails was horrible. My nails are thick and bumpy and each nail is a different shape. I spent almost 3 hours getting a pedicure, fill-in an eyebrow wax and for that amount of time my nails should have been flawless but I’m very disappointed so I will NEVER GO BACK!

My daughters ninth bday was held here. The staff did pedicures​ for seven girls and provided cookies and bottled water for each of them. The pedicures included the spa pedicure and a flower on each big toe, all for a cheaper price than other competitors.

Star Nails has moved to 376 Roosevelt Rd, Glen Ellyn. Great new location with all your favorite people still there! No chips last 3 weeks or longer!

I went last week and received gel no chip. My nail technician cut to close on my cuticles I was bleeding on 3 fingers when I was leaving. One of my fingers became infected badly. Be careful!

I do not know how my boyfriend found out Star Nail Spa, but this is so cool. The staff treated me politely and friendly. My nails were terrible because I was too busy to take care of it. I found an image on Facebook so I gave it to the staff and described what color I wanted to have. She listened carefully and did it exactly what I asked.

Took a long time for a mani pedi. Did a good job on the pedi, but I was not impressed with my mani. The salon lady didnt fill my nails completely with the color I chose and she bumped one of my nails and didnt redo it. I wont be going back.

Under new management but they seem to have issues juggling walk ins with individuals that have appointments. Man owner can be very rude.

Went and got my nails done yesterday and one of them already fell off. The guy who did them, did them all lumpy at first and when he was drilling them, he made indents, when he did the polish, he didnt clean up around my nail so it made it look messy.

I have been coming to this nail salon for four years. Every once in a while, Ive been over-charged for subpar services. Today was the last straw. I went in for an acrylic fill. Its an $18 service. A full set, alternatively, is $25. The nail technician intentionally broke two of my nails and replaced them. She was going to do more, and I stopped her to ask what she was doing. She then stopped. She finishes and I go to pay - Im told its $23. $18 for the fill and $5 for the two replaced nails. I asked for clarification... I was spending $2 less than a complete acrylic set, when they filled 8 old nails and gave me 2 new ones? That didnt seem right. If I had known that, I would have gotten a completely new set for $2 more. The usual workers I see during the week were not there (I had this done during a Sunday morning). So its a new (?) girl and another lady who has a very difficult time speaking and understand English just smiling and nodding at me as they overcharge me, saying they dont understand my question. Done. There are tons of other nail salons in this area. Go to another one - these people overcharge you without letting you know beforehand what theyre doing.

Not too impressed with this place. They take forever on your mani and pedi. I dont have one plus hours for a pedi!

I really like the owners, but I just had my nails done the night before and its only 4pm the next day and theyre already breaking and separating from my nails. :/

Great place - clean, great chairs, great service. Ive lived in Wheaton for 10+ years have tried other places and keep coming back to Star!

Great attention to detail!

Horrible experience.I will not go there again.I got a no chip manicure and a toe nail polish change.My toes are beige and my nails are pink.They insulted my intelligence by trying to tell me it was the same color then they spoke in their language about me as well as I could tell by their facial expressions.Anyway I will continue to look for a quality salon that is not prejudiced or fearful of a woman of color.
