She charged more than the coat was worth and her quote was much lower than she charged. Nice person but i will not recommend her to anyone.....

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!Nancy at Nlforte Alterations is absolutely incredible! She saved the creation of one of our family heirlooms!Prior to finding Nancy, I had a baptism gown for my daughter made out of my wedding gown by someone who came recommended in the community. Although she made a very beautiful gown, the other woman decided not to use the lining of my wedding gown and instead put a much darker (light brown) liner under my ivory organza overlay. The result was a beautiful BROWN baptism gown. She also did not finish the gown until three days before the baptism. I called several local tailors to try to have the dress fixed by the time of the baptism. As I suspected, nobody could help me with 2 1/2 days notice. Then, my husband found Nlforte! He called Nancy, explained our situation and asked if she would agree to see the dress to determine if it was possible to fix. She agreed. My husband then raced over with the baptism and wedding gowns and after careful consideration, Nancy agreed to try to redo the dress for us! I was in complete disbelief! Two days later Nancy called and said the dress was ready. The original dress took 7 weeks to make. Nancy completely remade my daughter’s baptism gown in 2 days!!! The dress is now exactly what I hoped for and I am so excited to keep it as our very special family heirloom. THANK YOU, Nancy!!!
