The lady’s that work here are fantastic. We needed to have our newborn sons lip and tongue tie cut, and they made time for us to get in that day. They were so kind and caring and followed up with us to make sure everything was going well after. Dr. Strohschein does awesome work!

I visited Pronghorn Dental with an emergency issue. My tooth had lost a filling and I was in a lot of pain. The lady dentist (I don’t know her name because she didn’t introduce herself) poked and prodded my mouth without numbing anything. Told me my pain was from grinding my teeth ( Something I’ve done for 20 years) and would not work on me until the “swelling went down from grinding”. Thank god the hygienist suggested a temp fill on my tooth. So I got the temp fill, and the dentist spoke to the hygienist standing directly behind my chair about what other work I needed, but did not address me directly. The hygienist then gave me a vague recap and walked me to the front. At this point I was very angry and just wanted to leave, I knew I wouldn’t be coming back. The receptionist at the front then informed me that the doctor did not feel that she was the right one to fix my teeth so she was giving me a referral to another doctor. So I have about a half a temp filling, still a lot of pain and have to wait another week to see another dentist. Do not waste your time and money here.

Crown came off and they got.me in right away to fix it. Great service.

Please use caution when using this dental office. I got a temporary crown and several fillings in this office after relocating to Gillette. Ever since Ive had numerous jaw problems and they informed me that I needed physical therapy for TMJ. Since leaving Gillette and seeing a nationally known specialist, I was informed that my bite this office created through the composites and fillings was causing my jaw to have problems causing my jaw to lock and muscles to have issues for two years.I did initially return to this office after the root canal to address my pain and the Dr. Informed me that it was just a muscle issue. After two years and lots of physical therapy later, I found that this office caused originally caused my issues. We also switched to Synergy while in Gillette due the office professionalism.

They made me feel so comfortable and welcomed with judgement.

UPDATE 9-5-20: After speaking with the dentist directly, she fixed the issue. So I am moving this rating from 1 star to 4 stars.When I first went here to see how much an X-ray would cost, the desk clerk told me it would be around $300. However, the dentist overheard us talking and heard me saying that I dont have insurance and that I am short on money. She said she understood and wanted to help and that she would only charge me $96 if I paid cash and if I released my records from my previous dentist. She said that would be for a non-exteneded X-ray but that if they ended up having to do an extended X-ray or anything extra that she would not charge me for it as long as I signed a release for my previous dental records in which I did. I decided since it would be $96 that I could afford that and was glad she let me do this. I based my decision to come to this dentist based off that. However, when I showed up and had the X-ray and stuff and went to pay afterwards the lady who deals with the payments said it was going to be $287. I explained that I was told otherwise and that I was specifically told it would only be $96. The lady then told me it didnt matter and that I had to pay the full amount. I only had $96 cash so I paid that but she then said I still owed $162 and that I would have to make payments. This really upset me because I was promised one thing and then charged full price when I wasnt supposed to. I was just straight up lied too. Maybe there was miscommunication between what I was told, the dentist, and the person who collects the payment. Im not sure, but they didnt offer to fix it. I did go in to have my first cavity filled today and they did an amazing job. This review isnt getting a 1 star because of the work they did. The work they did was awesome. I didnt even feel any pain at all. Im feeling it now but that is to be expected until it heals. I would give them them a 5 star rating but due to what happened with that first X-ray costing me over double of what they said it would I cant.

Everyone was kind and understanding of my needs. They didnt make me feel terrible about the work needing to be done. She explained everything so I would understand. I will always go back and will tell everyone I know to go there

New technology in the dental world was sooooooo appreciated. This was the first time I had fillings done with no novacain - laser is awesome... thank you Dr. Strohschein and staff for a great experience! My family have been going to Pronghorn for many, many years & none of us have ever had a bad experience and the staff is wonderful and caring. They explain what they are doing or going to do which alleviates any anxiety. Kudos to everyone at Pronghorn Family Dentistry!

I`ve been using this dental practice for 27 years and that should give every one the confidence to choose them for you and your families dental needs. they are superb, professional, efficient, and kid friendly. you can see in their face book photos that they truly enjoy each others company and it shows at their work place as they work together as a team. I know this post sounds like I got paid for these nice words but I assure every one, the words come straight from my personal patient experience through the years. I was blown away by the dentists patience, calm kind interaction, understanding and knowledge to right away notice & discuss my dental problems, physical health problems, mental health problems, and sleep/breathing problems are tied together and caringly talked to me while I was in a reactive state.

The entire staff at Pronghorn Family Dentistry are so helpful, friendly, and always have your best interest in mind! They’ve done a great job with all the work I’ve gotten done. Also, when I have to bring my little one with me they always help take care of him while I’m being worked on and are always happy to do so! HIGHLY recommended!!

Love going to pronghorn family dentistry, great staff and comfortable environment. I would definitely recommend them. The only thing is I think they are overpriced on there care, but I stay because they do a great job.

I had decided to switch from my regular dental office to this provider due to my dental insurance changing and this provider was in network. I called to make an appointment for a cleaning and was informed that I had to come in for a new patient exam. I arrived 10-15 minutes early and checked in. When it was time for my appointment, one of the gals at the front desk was like oh we forgot to have you do this paperwork even though I asked if there was any since I was new. When I finally got to go back I met with a hygienist, who went over my paperwork. The Dentist came in took a quick look, requested a light test done on 4 teeth and highly suggested I get a night guard for my headaches. after the light test was done, I was told I needed 4 fillings and they had to be done in 2 sessions. By the time I left with just an exam and no cleaning (which I was to come back for that in 2 weeks) they wanted to schedule the fillings, a fitting for the night guard (even though they hadnt check to see if it was covered with my insurance) for a total of almost $800 in dental work. I was floored that I needed 4 fillings because I had cavities that my previous dentist never mentions... it just seemed odd to me..... needless to say I cancelled my cleaning and rescheduled with my original dentist who is out of network. I would rather pay a little out of pocket knowing I am getting great customer service and not a money hungry doctor. When talking with others about this dental clinic, many had said that they all required at least 4 fillings before the doctor every looked into their mouths.

Very friendly place. Amy does a wonderful job and is very patient with me. I’ll admit the dentist office is not my favorite place. But Pronghorn Denistry makes it not so bad, thanks!

This has been the best experience with a dental office in my life. Amy cleans my teeth, Vanessa does my dentures, and Dr. Stroschein does the rest. Complete, professional, caring staff has taken excellent care of my needs. Highly recommend them to anyone looking for any kind of dental care.

Dawn and Mary were great. They repaired my molar where i had a root canal fixed. there was no pain at all and they were done in a short amount of time. Dawn took the time to explain the x-rays they they did and what needed to be done or fixed.

Very disappointed with Pronghorn. Went in for a regular cleaning and check up for my children. My child is going to future orthodontic care and my wife was told they needed to take a special image to be referred to an orthodontist. We received a $300 bill for the special imaging. We recently went to the orthodontist we were referred to, not only did they not receive the image but we were told they didnt need the image. When we called back into the office to dispute the charge, not only did it take nearly a week to return my call but the offices story continued to change as the conversation went on. It went from the images were taken for the orthodontist to they were taken for an oral surgeon and back to the orthodontist who never even received the images.If you want to pay for expensive useless tests, this is the office for you!
