We didnt pick Dads towing, our rental company did, but thank God for Dads towing. We got Derek, who met us at a hotel in the tiny town we broke down in, and realized our situation was not ideal, being trapped in a small town in the middle of nowhere. He got us all over to Gillette, and hooked us up with a great Hotel, at a great price. He was awesome, and really helped save our vacation. If the other guys at Dads towing are anything like Derek, youll be in good hands.

Blew trailer tire on I 90 about 20 miles east of Gillette Wyoming. It was very hot 100°. Mike from Dads Truck and Auto came to the rescue. It was a whole Lotta trouble to get that spare off because The bolt holding it on was messed up. A friend of his let him use his grinder and Mike was able to cut the bolts off and put the spare on. Mike is a great guy.

Mike came to our rescue when our battery died and parking brake would not disengage! He was very polite and was able to troubleshoot our issue quickly to get us back on the road!

We suffered a break down 1/4 mile from the highway exit. We quickly googled a repair shop and fate brought us to dads without requiring a tow. A bit about our car. We drive an Audi Q5. NEVER EVER BUY AN AUDI! Parts a somewhat difficult to get for our car and we spent 72 hrs+ in Gillete and the surrounding area before getting back on the road. Dad’s is a super capable shop. I think they could fix anything from a toaster to a jetliner. If you are in a similar position and are stuck for a while I recommend renting a car and going to see the devils tower and spearfish canyon. Thanks for all tour help guys. We made it to Glacier!!!

Thank God for Dads Truck and Auto. My wife, 2 dogs, and I broke downwhile driving cross country. We were on the side of the road, it was hot,we were stressed out, and the dogs were not all that happy either. Called AAA roadside, and the hooked us up with Mike at Dads Truck and Auto.Within half hour, they were there. They dropped us at a nearby hotel, worked on the car overnight, fixed our malfunctioning starter, and we were back on the road early morning the next day. And the cost was very reasonable. So grateful we found them, what a God Send. Thank you Dads Truck and Auto!

After almost losing a wheel assembly going 75 mph I was stuck 900 miles from home. 3 of 4 lug nuts missing and other two loose. I contacted Manning wrecker I believe and had a great operator TJ, he was polite and efficient. He dropped me off at hotel and had repairs done by 10 am following day. This experience couldve.been a helluva worse, both from mechanical standpoint and service/repair. Dads truck repair was stellar. Cant say enough. Thank you!

Definitely a blessing! Helped us out in a time of need. Billed us for our remaining tow bill after insurance paid only $100. I didnt have enough to pay the whole bill when they dropped off my truck. I offered to pay half, Mike said no just pay it on your next payday!

Traveling through the area on a Saturday I had a car issue. I wasnt able to find anyone close to the hotel that was open and called Dads Truck & Auto, went to their shop and was greeted kindly. They looked at my vehicle on the spot, not making me wait and got me back going quickly. Having someone help remedy the situation immediately and with such kindness was so professional and eased my anxiety from having car issues so far from home.

I was in town from Denver and had an issue with my car. Or so I thought. Colby met me at the shop on Sunday of Memorial Day weekend (when he’s normally closed). He concluded it didn’t need a new alternator as I had been told and gave my car a clean bill of health. He could have charged me for a repair, but instead was super honest and super helpful. I can’t thank him enough!

I have had a less than satisfactory experience with this towing company. I was involved in a car wreck and the tow truck driver arrived on scene before the police officer, which is fine, everyone needs to make money, I get it. He was so incredibly eager to tow my car. He repeated over and over, Im taking that one! Im getting that one! he never once asked if anyone was okay.All is said and done and my car has been with them for a week now. Today I was getting everything lined out the body shop and insurance. I didnt know if they contacted my insurance company to pay the bill or how exactly it worked here. I asked what the bill was and stated I would figure out how it was going to be paid weather the shop cuts the check or if my insurance company will. I hung up the phone and was attempting to dial the shop but accidently clicked Dads Towing. Before it began ringing I quickly hung up and dialed the right number. I was left a nasty voice mail by a man that works at Dads Towing. He was practically yelling as he stated, The car has to be paid for before it can be picked up! I dont care who cuts the check but it WILL be paid for! Calling here and hanging up like a childish two year old will not get your car out! When I called back I spoke with the woman I had already communicated with asking what the problem was, obviously confused considering there was absolutely no issue between us on the phone. She stated she was Sorry and everything is fine. For a company to conduct themselves in such a despicable manner says a lot. I will never use this tow company again and I strongly advise you not to either.

We somehow picked up a bungie cord in a parking lot getting a perscription at Walmart. We heard a weird sound and pulled over and saw this metal piece of the bungie cord sticking out of our tire with the bungie cord.Its Sunday and I started looking for some place who could help us and called Dads Truck &Auto and they answered the phone said they were closed on Sundays but because he was there to come down he would help us.We did and he fixed our flat.I cant say enough for your help and kindness for what you did.Would recommend this shop to people to use.Thank You our world is still blessed with good people..Ronnie and Eileen

Ripoff! Called for heavy duty towing, asked what are charges per hour, per call and ect, been told it will be between $250 and $350 an hour depending on job, period. For them took less than 3 hours to go, pull out truck and get back. Charged over $700 plus additional $1000 dispatch fee. Crooks!

Great auto shop. We were traveling back to Toronto from BC and our car overheated in Gillette. We were picked up promptly by Mike and he was able to diagnose and fix our car so we could get back on the road the same night. Thank you for all your help. Great shop

Was unwilling to Tow a vehicle off my drive way without park manager calling him directly. Ive lived there for 3 years and while my family and I were on vacation to Michigan someone parked there vehicle half full of trash in my driveway. So instead of calling and bothering the property manager I just called someone else.

I hit a deer outside of Gillette, which caused significant damages to my car. I didnt know anything about the process. Luckily, Dustin from Dads picked me up and explained everything. Spoke with dealership and they didnt even suggest that it could be a battery causing all the electrical issues, they just wanted us to bring it in to run diagnostic check. Driver put a machine on it and determined it was the battery. Potentially saved us several hundred dollars. Thank you.

They are soooo awesome. I had the water pump go on my diesel on the way to Gillette. They had it fixed and ready to roll within 24hrs. They repair cost was within my budget as well. I would definitely recommend them and plan to do buisness with them in the future.

We do thank our God Redrock Towing was on call when we broke down where we did, 25 miles east of Gillette, at midnight. The driver was quick, attentive, and courteous. He took us to a hotel in Gillette. Early the next morning Redrock called to tell us they were on the case, wasting no time searching and finding the specialized size and type tires we needed, traveling 2 more hours each way to get them and get us back on the road to salvage our trip to our grandkids! The tire shop they had to go to to find the tires was 2 hours away and closed at noon.Redrock was courteous, communicative, attentive, and quick to solve our problems. Their pricing was more than reasonable, too! It was even a holiday weekend. Without their attentiveness wed have been stranded for a days instead of hours!Whenever an automotive need may arise in or near enough to Gillette, WY, I will be calling or recommending Redrock Towing and Repair!

For a 24 hour service calling at 6:30, when picked up he did not seem to care to service us and sent us to another business that is not even open. If they are 24/7, they will pick and choose who to service.

We broke down about 5 miles out of Broudus Montana and the closest shop that could work on our car happens to be placed by the nearest towing company, Redrock Towing, about 80 or 90 Miles away. We knew it would take awhile for someone to get out to us, but he did great on being as timely as possible, called to confirm that he knew where we were (especially since most of that way has no service) , he was careful with the car, he was nice and funny and offered to help with anything we needed if we needed. He engaged both my finance and myself in conversion to make the ride faster. Thanks for the best towing experience.

Attention truckers !!!Do not even think to go there, I had my truck towed in because of a deer accident, they gave me an outrageous price to replace radiator and CAC (charge air cooler) aprox $7000, I decided not to fix the truck there and they charged me $1400 diagnose fee, just to tell me my radiator its leaking coolant. Towed my truck away in Midwest and with tow and repairs I was cheaper 40%, DO NOT GO THERE YOU WILL BE RIPPED OFF !!!

We were traveling from UT to MN when my truck suddenly broke down. Redrock responded very quickly and towed us to their shop. The service was very quick and accommodating and the staff very courteous. Admittedly my vehicle is a junker and they were honest with me up front as to the potential costs of repair vs current value of my vehicle. Rates were reasonable considering the weekend repair. I would trust them to work on my truck again.

Suv quit 18 miles out side of Gillette Wyoming, I could not maintain connection with At&t to get roadside assistance. Dispatch stayed on the line with Roadside assistance dispatch the tow truck with pulled up while Cody (sorry if name wrong ) was still waiting for the transaction to happen to pay. Mike the driver was wonderful not only did he make sure I had a hotel room with a discount he helped me unload what I need and secured the rest of my belongings. Sorry to say my suv had its last ride with dads😉

They suck they did not tighten our lug nuts on our trailer. So 100 miles down the road our wheel flew off the hub and almost flipped the trailer. We could of had a real nasty accident because of it. Thank God we didnt. So I had to have the trailer towed in to another town and a tire store because they told me it was my problem and have no intentions of helping us even though its there fault it happened because of not checking there work or they just dont care. Also we were charged 250. More than quoted and I know they did not put the time in to the job that they said and charged. They flat out took advantage of a Grandmother, daughter in law and my two year old grandson trying to get to .Geogia. I highly DO NOT recommend this company for anything. Also the tow truck driver drove so fast and crazy the trailer on the back of the truck was on 2 wheels as he tuned the corner. I thought we were going to loss the trailer. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

Ripoff. Had to tow a truck at their shop and got an astronomical estimate and decided not to repair with them so I asked how much I own them for checking the truck. Got a bill for more then $1,300 for parking for 4 days and checking the truck. Also they charged me for the 2 or 3 phone conversations that we had. Stay away , they will rip you off without remorse.

Be very cautious getting any work done with this company. I give more credit to State Farm (their insurance company) who made things right since the owner (Mike Lemke) didnt want to do anything. If you get anything done make sure everything is documented and if you go to another shop for repairs get plenty of photos and talk to the mechanics repairing the work Dads Truck and Auto did. Was compensated over $11,000 in a matter of 3 weeks.

My husband and I were traveling from South Dakota to Denver when our motor home broke down. The driver of the tow truck was extremely courteous and helpful. The owner Mike went above and beyond to help us repair our vehicle and find a place to stay for the night. We even received a phone call from him the next day to be sure everything was okay. We would highly recommend this company to any one!!

My husband and I were traveling from Rapid City, SD to Gillette, WY on I-90 when the front left tire/aluminum wheel came off our Tundra pickup and went rolling into the westbound passing lane, crossed into the westbound outside lane and finally into the ditch where it eventually stopped. We had our daughter, our 4 yr. old and 19 month old granddaughters with us. My husbands excellent driving skills kept us on the road, steering the pickup to the shoulder of the road without any further incident. Redrock Towing & Repair was on the scene within 35 minutes from the time they received the call from AAA. It was around 5:30 pm on a Friday. (Note: It took us about 25 minutes to get through to AAA, having to explain to 4 different dispatchers what our problem was.) The driver of the towing truck took us to the front door of a hotel and continued enroute to the shop with our wheel-less pickup. They had everything repaired by 10:30 a.m., Saturday. The staff was so kind, accommodating, and informative as to the repair and cost (which was very reasonable). We are very thankful for all of their help and expedited service. May God bless them!

I Did Not Expect a Great Experience From a Bad Situation, But that is What I Recieved. I Was Rescued Within the Hour, Truck Loaded Up and Back to Dads Shop, They Figured the Problem, Ran for the Parts, Scheduled Me for a Next Morning Fix, at a Very Fair Price, All after Hrs, Then Offered Me a Ride Across Town to a Hotel. Dads Truck and Auto and Wrecking service helped us on the 4th of July weekend, when no one else was available. We have a large motorhome that required a special tow truck and Colby went above and beyond to check our engine and fix the problem. He even called to check on us a few hours later. My husband and I are moving from Washington to Iowa in a new truck. 1000 miles in we ended up in Gillette, broken down on Easter weekend. Everyone was closed or booked into the next week, except dads. I called and told them what was going on, they told us to bring it by so they could take a look. They stopped what they were doing to help us because we were in a bad situation and in a hurry, needing to be in Iowa for an interview on Monday with little funds for hotels. The problem with the vehicle wasnt obvious and took a bit of work to find a diagnosis. They eventually found the problem and ordered the part and got it fined in the next hour and had us out the door at a reasonable price. Everyone here is very helpful, and willing to talk everything out with you. We were in the loop every step of the way and had a very pleasant expirience. I would definitely recommend dads to anyone needing autowork or a tow!

Great people who went above and beyond when we broke down on the freeway. They picked us up and tow us to town. Then they helped us get a room at a discounted rate. Colby was the driver who helped us. Mike helped us with our truck once we arived and the two ladies in the office bent over backwards when we came to pick our things up. Our spring on the 5th wheel broke on 59 near Gilette WY. We called and told them what was wrong. Mike the owner is fast and efficient he picked up the spring, brought it when he came and had it replaced within a half hour and had us on our way. I would most definitely recommend him to anyone. Even the very nice state trooper that stopped said they were great

Terrible service. My insurance company called to see when they would arrive! tow company said 9:55pm. tow truck came to us at 32 miles from town at 10:30 pm. Tried to tow my friends CAR. Tow was called for a truck. Came to my truck and started screaming at me about its not his fault that my insurance company didnt call him for 3 hours. He said he just got the call 30 min ago.. Although my insurance company documented all time and person who said at 8:53pm the truck would be to me at 9:55. After he was finished screaming at me. I asked him to call manager and he stomped off and loaded my truck on the tow truck. Very rude extreamly late, they didnt even answer the phone professionally. Towed my truck 32 miles for $300.00 round trip. A little customer service goes a long way.. But not from this company.

This is the worst company you could ever have the misfortune of getting tricked into doing business with. Whatever you do, do NOT do any business with Dads Truck & Auto. We received a quote for a roundtrip tow of $4200.00. After the tow was complete, we received an invoice for doing exactly what was quoted on the telephone, except the invoice was for $7100.00 and Dads put a lien on the equipment then added storage charges until paid.

Tow driver Evan is expert at what he does as well as personable. One cannot ask for a better man to answer the call of a breakdown. Later at Dads shop Mike proved to be a b/s artist. Hes Ok if you have a problem easy to diagnose but he reverts to b/s to get the money when confounded. Primary problem causation he insisted he knew, but burned out two ignition modules (and charged for thier installation and cost) and finally found out a ign. Coil may be ruining the ignition modules. So 2 burnouts and you knew problem? B/s. Third try a charm. Me poorer. End? Nope. Now my alternator is fried! Although battery had been charged Mike claimed alternator bearing was bad i bet him $50 that on breakdown of part that the bearing was ok. He agreed THEN that it was ok. Wiring inside was bulging out, interfering with alternator spin, indicating a huge surge of current (certainly not from your 2 amp charger Mike) Nevertheless, I was charged for a rebuilt alternator, he graciously waived labor charge. So, end of story? Nope. Truck had no power, cant complete journey that way. Me being knowledgeable about my vehicle, i suspected they didnt know how to tune the new distributor that was indstalled. Sure enough, distributor was loose on my inspection. Not wanting to be b/sed still more by Mike, I resolve to adjust timing by feel during my 970 mile trip completion. Yes, a shadetree solution to my timing issue but dont need more delays with Dads. Wouldnt it be nice if repair shops knew or at least were responsible for what they are supposed to know? Its a personal ethic to bite the bullet, when you cant deliver your chosen service competently. No one knows everything after all. Guy trying to pass through is at a disadvantage and some bank on it...

They towed my truck which was up on a jack and blocks not only did they drag it actoss the cement on the hub the dropped it in their yard in the dirt on the hub and it took me two hours to get it dug out and jacked up to load on my trailer! Very poor customer service and rude receptionist!
