Im impressed particularly because they worked me in on short notice (dont normally do that (rude) but a family vacation was days away) even though they were extremely busy already. Our rental car started acting up because of a cold snap on our cross country road trip. Called about question on transmission problems for my truck that I needed done right away, they were honest and said they did not have the time or equipment to work on it, referred me to Nannemann Brothers. These guys are very helpful and would absolutely recommend.

While on a road trip from Tucson, Arizona back home to Northern Minnesota we ran into some car trouble late afternoon while in Gillette, Wyoming. We were traveling with two toddlers and an infant so Im sure you can imagine how anxious we were to get on the road again. Buds waa able to get us in first thing the next morning and quickly find the problem and get it repaired without costing an arm and a leg. Very thankful for their prompt services!

Honest mechanic.

Im working in Gillette and had a serious issue with my truck. Everywhere I checked I wouldnt be able to even look at it for at least a week. A contractor I work with recommended Buds Auto Repair. I went in and he said to leave it and maybe theyd be able to look at it that day. I got a call approximately 5 hrs later and it was done. Professional & courteous!!!!! Very fair pricing. I would highly recommend them!

Fast service great work

Buds got the most difficult Fiat based Jeep running for us. He willingly changed a starter on a 2016 Cherokee (look it up, probably the WORST part to change in this car) and only charged us a few man hours when it clearly took them 10 hours to do the job. They got us in right away and had the car fixed in a day.

Wonderful company. Fast turnaround with my Lincoln. Appreciate the quick fix. I will be back. The best. They deserve the 5 stars. 🤗

Always the #1 place to take your vehicle for repair. Fair pricing, Bud can price quote you a round about figure for repair and if at any time he thinks it will be more he will call you first so there are no surprises. I have also taken my vehicle in and had the quoted price me less. Never ever had a problem with my vehicles either after being repaired. Nice to know there still is a reliable, friendly and honest shop in town.

We lost the timing chain (and the engine) on our truck while towing through Gillette. We had the truck towed to Buds based on reviews and that they said they could get to it first thing Monday morning.While we were disappointed by the diagnosis, it was partly mitigated by the fact that we could tell the shop wed chosen was the best place we could have possibly gone to. Bud is the kind of opinionated owner/mechanic I like: they wont do things the cheap way; they do it right, or you can go someplace else.They found/fixed a number of other things caused by shoddy work done by previous mechanics while they replaced the motor, and had us on the road by the following Friday, despite having some unexpected delays due to a broken motor mount they found at the last moment.Their prices were quite reasonable, their work was top notch, and I have great confidence in the result.On a side note, we had at least 2 unsolicited, Oh, you went to Buds? Good choice. comments made during the week by locals.

My husband and I came to keyhole, from Casper, for our anniversary and broke down in Wright. We limped it to pine haven. We called around for a mechanic and Buds Auto Repair was the only place we found that said bring it on in, everyone else said two weeks. Buds had us diagnosed and back on the road by 5 the same day. Our truck is running great, pulling our camper and boat around we finally made it to our vacation. Thank you to everyone at Buds.
