These guys are great! This summers severe monsoon storms slammed all of the tree services in town. Some companies couldnt get out to do an estimate in a timely manner and others wouldnt even return calls, but Joe came out to do a walk through and estimate just a few days after I called. The quote was fair, reasonable and significantly below a competitors quote. Joe also didnt try to oversell me on unneeded services. Trimming day went off without a hitch as Brandons crew arrived early, he and I quickly talked through my expectations and each member got to work on their specialty. My trees were overgrown from too many years of self-maintenance but the job came out great and were very happy with the results. I will definitely recommend Valley Tree Masters to others!

NO INSURANCE / Terrible Management. Got a quote from them pretty reasonable price so went forward with scheduling a day to remove 2 trees. Before removal I wanted to make sure their insurance was going to cover any damage and/or accidents during removal. Management sent me insurance papers so I called the company and Valley Tree Masters lapsed on their insurance. They had NO INSURANCE. We rescheduled with the removal of the trees until they got insurance. I had to call Valley Tree Masters 4 times for over a 2 week span because they would not call me back over and over, even though they said they would. Beware of this company they say they have insurance by word and in writing on the contract but the real story after investigating they did NOT have INSURANCE when I was trying to do business with them for 2 weeks. How many jobs did this company preform while NOT having INSURANCE while telling their customers not to worry they have everything covered. There slogan should be We care about your trees Not our Customers. BE CAREFUL with Valley Tree Masters

While working on my neighbors tree, their chipper left a giant oil stain at the very edge of my driveway. When asked to clean it up, Brandon said he could bring cat litter on Monday (by the time he had gotten back to me, 4 days had passed and the oil was already soaked into the asphalt, Monday would make it day 6). He then said it was technically city property and he wasnt responsible to clean it up. I told him I didnt care whos property it was, they needed to take responsibility and make an attempt. HE THEN HUNG UP ON ME. On Monday no one showed up.It was honestly so annoying dealing with these people. At this point its too late to clean it up and dealing with these people isnt worth the frustration. I hope no one else has to experience this.

Brandon and the team at valley tree masters came in and made quick work of the two trees and additional stump. They were very affordable and quickly will definitely use again

They do things differently and thats good! They sent the person who is actually doing the work (not a sales rep) to give me a quote, followed up later and negotiated an agreed upon price. Then scheduled to trim my trees within a week. I will definitely use them again.

I just want to thank the crew who removed my very large eucalyptus tree this past Wednesday! They did an excellent job, went above and beyond my expectations! If you ever need this service you will not be disappointed with this company. You will definitely get you money’s worth!

Valley Tree Masters arrived several hours after the time they gave me. Rather than remove a tree in sections carefully, the crew cut the tree at the base and pulled it down with ropes. In the process of cutting they tree down it fell partially into my neighbors yard and did damage to cactus and bushes. Then one of the crew argued with my upset neighbor that it was not a big deal. They also left unused water bottles in my yard and did not clean up sticks and limbs in my neighbors yard. I am disappointed at the lack of care and concern for property. This group did not drop a tree in a professional manner leaving damage to surrounding plants and bushes. Totally surprised me as I know Valley Tree Masters has a better reputation and does significantly bigger jobs than mine. Maybe I was just too small a job for them.

Brandon and Team are AWESOME! I am so elated on the work they did today on my trees. My sissoo tree was looking really bad, overgrown with what looked like a really bad hairdo. She looks great now and everything is clean around the tree. This is my second year using Valley Tree Masters because they do great work. And they care about the trees and the customer. This past week I hired Valley Tree Masters to remove some trees from my yard. The guys showed up and and were very professional. They removed the existing trees and were detail oriented once the trees were removed my yard looked as though there was never anything there in the first place. I was impressed with how quick the guys worked and it seemed liked they worked well together. I also wanted to thank my sales person Joey As he was professional and maintained good communication as to arrival time of the crew. Joey even came to the job site after the work was completed to make sure everything came out as expected. I would highly recommend this company.

I have used Valley Tree Masters 3 times over the past 8 years - they were originally called American Tree Masters. Dan Riggs came out the first time 8 years ago & I was impressed, so I kept using them. The last time I used them was 4/16/2020. They crowned my Ash tree & trimmed my African Sumac. Before starting, I asked multiple times if crowning the Ash tree would hurt it & was assured it would be fine. The Ash tree now looks like it is dying. I called Valley Tree Masters on Thurs 8/13/20 & left a msg on voicemail explaining the problem & asking for a call back. I called again Friday morning 8/14 & left another msg. I called early afternoon on 8/14 & someone finally answered. They told me to call Joe & provided me with his number. I called Joe. He said he was just heading into an appt. but to text him a photo & he would call me after his appointment. Its now Friday 8/21/20 - no calls. As a regular customer, I would have at least expected the courtesy of a return call. Ive since called another Arborist - they said the tree was butchered & very well may die. When they trimmed it, they climbed up the tree using spikes - damaging the tree as well. Wish I knew before what I know now. Please dont use this company.. EDIT -I see the company responded 5 months later with the following generic stmt Sometimes we are hired to try and deal with tree situations where the tree cannot be saved. As a Certified Arborist, oftentimes we are called out when the trees health is already beyond our control. THAT IS NOT THE CASE HERE. You trimmed this tree 3 times in the past 8 years. Nothing was said about the tree being sick or unhealthy until AFTER this incident. The tree was healthy & green until this last time when your guys cut it back too far & butchered it. You wouldnt even come out to look at the damage. Let this be a lesson to everyone - just because the ad or the invoice says Licensed Arborist, that doesnt mean the people showing up to trim your trees know anything about trees or how to trim them.

We’ve had these guys come out to our yard twice now for one full tree removal and another partial removal and general trim. We’ve been really satisfied both times. Levi, Robert and Lorenzo were professional and worked hard leaving our yard clean and generously trimmed. Definitely worth the cost.

I hired ATM to remove two gigantic 30 year old eucalyptus trees from my back yard; it was an enormous job to say the least. Dan gave me the best estimate of 3 different companies and his crew did an AMAZING job over the course of several days. They were very accommodating at working around my schedule and their communication was professional and timely. Used American Tree Masters before and am ready for another tree project. The trees I need trimmed are huge, not a project for just ANY tree trimming service. Dan the owner came out personally to give us our estimate. We really appreciated that, it gave us a secure feeling about our job. He also gave us the names of the people doing the job, along with taking pictures of the job needing to be done. Joe came as scheduled to give estimate but never showed up on day work was to be done. I didnt receive a phone call saying he would not be showing up. Do not hire. They dont show up.

We have had Valley Tree Masters to our home twice recently to trim 3 trees and one palm. Their prices are reasonable and they show up when they say they will. The crews are outstanding, like Levi, Josh, and Ronnie who were here today, altho everyone, including Joe and Brandon, who did the initial estimates, are so easy to work with and very professional. We called Valley Tree Masters after noticing some pretty foul smelling leakage from the 45 foot Saguaro Cactus in our front yard. I left my message with the answering service and they promptly returned my call within the hour. They were able to get someone out for an estimate within 24 hours and the estimate was far below others I received. They were able to schedule the removal for our severely diseased cactus for the following morning. The crew arrived early and worked quickly. They were finished within two hours and despite warning me that the juice from the cactus could potentially stain the concrete, they worked hard to keep the surface clean and no staining occurred. They made the process so easy, I would definitely hire them again!

Valley Tree Masters did great work at our place. They were were attentive to the particular needs of the job, and did a thorough clean up of the work site. They thinned two massive Sissoo trees, leaving them well shaped and healthy.

We had Levi and Robert come out to trim our Mesquite trees after being told by another company they all needed to be cut down and it would be over $2,000!! We had a very large Palo Verde tree break in a storm and fall on our house and in front of the garage blocking the entrance to our home recently. We called Valley Tree Masters for a quote to remove the tree and they were very responsive. Joe Barrera was prompt in sending someone (Levi) out to look at it and gave us a firm and reasonable bid the same day for removal the following day, which happened to be a Saturday. Levi and his “A Team” arrived Saturday morning. They were all very professional and courteous. They worked efficiently and safely to avoid any further roof damage (in fact not one additional roof tile fell when they removed the tree limbs). Everyone from Diane who took our initial call, to Joe and to Levi and to the other guys working with Levi were a pleasure to work with. Last year I got trimmed my tree by a random yard maintenance person who knocked my door and asked if I wanted to trim my tree. I agreed the guy to trim my tree, it was a big mistake. I had them to cut down my dead 40 yr old tree. They came and saw and did. =) They crew was great,. efficient and nice to work with. When they left, i had no evidence of the stump and all the cleanup was as good as I would have done it. I also got 3 bids, and theres was the best and also the man giving the bid gave us tips on our other trees. I am calling them again.!

We had Joe come out and give us an estimate to trim our eucalyptus tree. Everything seemed great and we were scheduled to have it trimmed today. It’s now past the time they were supposed to be here and we’ve called 3 different people including Joe and no call back to update us. I finally got ahold of someone at the office and cancelled. Very disappointed.

The initial quote was done professionally. We set up the time to do the job and they were here on time. the tree removal was done very well and the trimming was excellent. The crew was excellent and they worked quickly and safely and were respectful of our property. all and all they were an excellent experience and we will call them for any similar work.

Great job by very professional crew! My trees were out of control and they had the vision and expertise to shape and thin the branches and made my jungle more like a beautiful garden! As an arborist, the owner Danny was able to fully explain the reasons for the current conditions of the various species of trees on my property as well as how to get everything back to full health. Some just needed maintanence while others needed more. His crew is very professional and worked to ensure customer satisfaction. Five stars are for the consultation, customer service, and value.

Very unprofessional! Joe the manager didnt answer the phone or respond to my text till the day after they were schedueled to come out. Tree work was decent. However, the crew damaged my neighbors property. AND to top it off the whole crew smelled like marijuana. Even when I walked by their work truck I smelled a strong odor of marijuana. WONT BE CONTACTING THEM AGAIN

Estimate and work planned was communicated perfectly. Inspection of the work showed everything was done to my satisfaction. Will certainly go back to this company for future work and recommend to co-workers and friends. Price was very reasonable.

After calling quite a few places, Dan responding quickly, came and showed us exactly what would be done on our palm trees and told us how quickly he could get it done. and he showed up when he said he would show up. The fact than arborist is always involved in the evaluation and estimate process is important to me and I know Ill always have that with this company.

Great company to deal with. Very knowledgeable. And they speak English. They are my new go-to tree company. Revised.They killed my 2 palm trees and stained my concrete with the product they used. They said they would remove the dead palms and trim my mesquite tree at no charge. I told them that was great. Well they came and did the work. They even brought me a new tree i could have. Well they had to hurry and leave so i had to finish picking up. No big deal. But when i went out front i saw they took the tree they were going to leave. Also broke a big flower pot when cutting the tree. They never called to check on the rework they did so i couldnt tell them about the new problem. Thats why the new review.

I needed to have a couple of dying trees removed, and I called all around the Valley and couldnt get a straight answer; I was close to attempting to do it myself, but Dan immediately informed me that was not the way to go. Dan gave me many options because I also need some tree trimming done, so this worked out all around for me. If you need tree trimming and/or tree removal always go with an Arborist.

I have used American Tree Masters for a number of years. They have done excellent work from trimming a 30-foot pecan tree, to removing a huge orchid tree and stump to shaping and trimming my 50 year old mulberry trees! I would recommend them to anyone seeking professional tree work. I will use them again!!

Valley tree Masters gave Great service with a great crew and a very reasonable price

We had 4 palm trees that were at least 40 feet tall that we wanted to have removed as well as a palm stump and a small citrus tree.The trees were in the backyard and were in close proximity to the house and to our neighbors yards. The crew came in and expertly and safely removed each of the trees without damage to any of the property or injuries to the crew. They also ground the stumps and removed the debris from the whole operation. I was satisfied with the work that was done and would considering acquiring their services again.However, the one sour note in the project was the scheduling faults and lack of communication and feedback. The estimator did not show up on the scheduled day and the work crew did not show up at the scheduled time of day. Neither time did I get a call saying they were running late or needing to reschedule. I had to call the office to find out what was going on.

I had a huge tree thinned out and 5 Queen palms trimmed and treated. The crew was very professional and friendly. Dan was also very professional and explained everything that needed to be done. I would recommend them for any tree service needs.

Two stars because my pine trees do look better. Also hired them to trim 5 tall Mexican palms. I stopped them after only one palm because the gentleman up in the tree was using a chainsaw and was raining down palm fronds upon all my prized plants below, badly damaging them! I chose this company because of their 5star ratings...my experience was very poor. cleanup? well they got out the blowers, but after taking down my string of outdoor lights to do the job just left them down...also did not return my furniture to the patio but left it all on the lawn. 2 stars is generous. Would I hire them again?....NO! the hispanic fellows who come around did a better job for 1/2 what this group charged me....$1,890 to trim 5 pines and one palm tree!!! VERY DISAPPO9INTED
