I would NOT recommend Foxworth in refinishing flooring of any significant size. The work at my home was done by Daniel Foxworth (son of James) who does not have the capability to perform the quality of work for refinishing floors that are without leaving major defects or blemishes.Approximately 1100 sqf of hardwood was contracted to be refinished with the father being the lead. When the job started, the job was handed over to his to his son and a helper. The result was there were MAJOR sanding defects and bare spots identified after the 2nd finish coat was applied. After reviewing the defects with both the father and son, the defects were worked on which took 2 more days of work. However, the repair method to fix the defects produced other defects which were not acceptable. The final response from Daniel was that the repair work done was to the best of his ability and nothing else can be done. He offered a $500 credit which I accepted and decided to move on.If you are looking for a professional hardwood floor refinisher DO NOT USE FOXWORTH!!!UPDATE: A kind & noble offer was made by David to return the payment for the services rendered. I declined the offer and wish him all the best in his future business.
James is old school honest and dependable. He went out of his way to help us avoid unnecessary costs. He and his son installed almost 3,000 square feet of flooring! Very meticulous with his work. Highly recommend
They put our floors in and the floors are great. They blended with the old floors we had. We will recommend them to any e who asks who did our floors.
