My family was in a bind during our travels the ac gave out. Turns out we had to replace the entire system. Parts were ordered and 2 days later we got our car back with ice cold ac. Highly recommend. Very friendly and the communication was great

So I went to AutoZone to buy a new battery for my car. My old one had failed and I had to get a new AGM, $199.99 battery. After seeing what was going to have to be done to change it I decided to go to AutoZone since they install most batteries. Not all batteries,, but most.When they came out to install it they discovered that they couldn’t. The man never skipped a beat. He told me to go next door to Bluegrass and they would install it. I was so relieved that AutoZone had a backup plan to get every battery installed. This was awesome.The mechanics at Bluegrass were so good. They knew exactly what they were doing and had it done in 5 minutes!! I don’t know if I could have installed a conventional battery in the amount of time that they did this one. They had to remove brackets and coverings and disconnect various wires,, remove the old in with the new and then reconnect everything and reinstall all covers and brackets. He knew what he was doing. He was seriously done in no time.If ever I should need a mechanic in the future I will definitely get estimates here first.

This small shop is a little gem. they always do a good job and for the most part for a fair price (every now and then they charge a little higher than average). but they have yet to let us down on the quality of the repairs.

If I could give this place a negative rating I would. Absolutely NOTHING good came out of my visit. Way overpriced and overrated; Quoted like $2500 to fix a starter issue (Quote $150) to fix my water pump, the chain (Labor $1500), to replace the battery ($200) and for them to get the parts ($700) plus taxes. I look up how much it should of cost to fix about $1,000-$1,200 labor and parts $500 and that was on the high side. (Side note the battery had no issue before I went; No telling what these jokers did to it) I ended up getting my own parts just to confirm I was being overcharged; Turned out I was correct, Got the parts for $450 and just to put doubt in my mind about the parts I purchased; Told me Never heard of that company before. Even though Murphy parts have been in business since 1921, (Longer than you clowns) which was right on the box Sherlock. Then to top it off charged for work that wasnt originally in my quote or agreed upon; either through person or phone. Which resulted in an additional $150 charge. A $70 oil charge (which is absurd) and $80 gasket. Unreal. All I hope for is the work that was done holds up which I am skeptical; so taking it to my trustworthy mechanic when I get back home. Usually like to donate money this time of year, not now this whole experience was a debacle. I thought after this I donated and helped send their kids through college. The owner is an exploiter; Unethical, Untrustworthy and ripped me off. Georgetown, KY Car owners beware.

Amazing, dependable, truthful are just a few of the many amazing words I could use to describe this place! They have always done work on all my cars never once have I ever had an issue with the service they provide. I highly recommend them over anyone else in this State! Ross seems to always be who works on our cars and he is amazing! I love how upfront they are and wont tell you stuff that you dont need like anyother place. I own a Hvac company and I have had all my company vehicles maintained by Bluegrass Auto Repair. They always have done a good job with a good price. When I do have a break down they are very quick to repair and get the vehicle back on the road. Had the clutch go out of my car. This guy gave me an estimated price of $750.00. Brought my car in to have it repaired and then the price changed to $985.00. Now i can understand missing the quote by a few dollars but not almost $200.00. I was born in the dark but not last night. Dont waste your time here.

Took my car in for them to tell me why I have vibration in the back they told me to replace the back two tires so I did and cost me 227 dollars and I still have the vibration back so your tell me its a good shop to take your car to I just wanted my car fixed and they couldnt find out why

Honesty, integrity and quality work! The level of customer service you receive from Josh and Ross is 2nd to none. I stopped by Friday to make an appointment for the following week to get the heater fixed in my car. They checked everything out, said it was too cold to wait for the fix and had me back on the road in less than an hour with everything fixed! They care about their customers and offer great prices and quality work. They are my go to guys to keep my car running.

Ross and Josh are always courteous and professional. They dont try to take advantage of you by doing unnecessary work on your vehicle. They will warn you if things are looking a bit worm and will tell you to keep an eye on it rather than gouging you by saying it HAS to be fixed. Their service is quick and they always stand behind their work. I have been taking my cars to them for 6 years now and will continue to do so. They are honest and trustworthy!

Overpriced but the only ones that actually fix problems

Used to take a car there once or twice a year to have the AC recharged and that was fine. Also had a problem and they replaced spark plug wires and the coil I think and it again ran fine. So they’ve done good work for us in the past. But in approximately sept 2016 we took a car in there that wouldn’t start. I thought it was the battery or charger. They charged is $40 for a diagnostic fee and told us the engine was seized up and was no good. We were gonna sell the car for around 1500 at the time but after finding out the engine was seized we soldIt for $400. A few weeks later we ran into the new owner at a gas station and they said all their mechanic did was put in a new battery and it started right up! Wow! So we were out about $1000 on the car we sold and someone got a steal on it from us. Not sure I’d ever go back after that experience.

These guys give you the feeling from the minute you walk in that they are experienced, knowledgeable, and fair. I have been taking multiple vehicles in for service for years and they have always been more than fair and straightforward with pricing and timeframe of repair. Went to get my brakes and oil fixed. Then the oil sensor light comes on after i leave. Go back to get that fixed and then the next day the air bag light comes on seems like everytime i get something fixed something else happens. Dont know if im going back the air bag light has nothing to do with any other thing they fixed i had no trouble with that light coming on until i went there

Need a mechanic badly. Was recommended here but every time I try to call them they wont answer. I guess Ill take my car and my money back to big o tires like always. Its a shame because they screw people over but they at least answer the phone. I called 4 or 5 times this morning and nothing.

One of the bolts on my car got broken and the belt on my alternator came off. They couldnt fix it but they told me what was wrong and didnt charge me for looking at it since they couldnt fix it. Super friendly service willing to help me out.
