Based on a recommendation from a family friend, I took my car to Christian Brothers of Georgetown. I visited the office three times and each time every staff member I dealt with was super friendly. The office was clean and nice. I used their complimentary shuttle each time and appreciated that as well. My car is fixed an running perfectly.

Christian Brothers Automotive is a great place to take your vehicle to have just about anything fixed. Friendly service and competitive prices. I really had a great time dropping off company trucks and picking them up. They make it so easy.

What a wonderful business model! Great example of spreading the Good News and running a biblically-sound business. This was my first experience with a mechanic in TX, as my husband and I just moved here from out of state. Everyone was exceptionally kind and courteous, the service was top notch, the waiting time was minimal, and the waiting area is clean and comfortable with snacks and drinks and reading materials. They ended up not even charging me for the state inspection service and said “welcome to Texas” and thanked me for being in the military. I was very desperate to have a car inspection, oil change and overall maintenance on my car but being at high risk for Covid I couldn’t go. They offered to pickup and return my car and complete all necessary work. They identified and resolved critical issues like new battery. They also surprised me with a car wash as well. At least 3 places had tried to fix the A/C on my wifes Volvo with no success. CBA found the simple problem right away. Works great now and I was pleased with the price and service.

I had a issue with my truck caused by a poor installation of a lift kit by a different shop causing my rack and pinion assembly to go out. JD went above and beyond to help remedy the issue. He kept me informed through the entire process and ended up saving me more than the initial cost! They go above and beyond and I highly recommend them!

Was here with a friend. They did a great job with customer service... I will definitely bring my car here in the future. Its hard as a woman to feel like a place isnt ripping you off just because they can. There was some error on their part when they fixed my friends car, she brought it back and they made it good and did not charge her again since it was their fault.

I was passing through Georgetown and stopped for a bite to eat. When got back to my truck, I noticed anti-freeze leaking underneath. I inquired about auto-repair in the area and Christian Brothers came highly recommended. I drove the truck there and was greeted by a friendly employee at the desk. Told him my story and he immediately said they were full up for the rest of the day. I told him I was just passing thru and didnt have a place to stay and really needed to get back on the road. He couldnt have been more helpful and understanding and said, Let me see what I can do. He came back a few minutes later and said they could probably get it up on a rack and see what the issue was. They did and said it was a heater core leak and would take a day to fix. I impressed upon them how urgent it was for me to keep traveling. They said they could do an immediate by-pass of the heater core and I could get it fixed when I reached my destination. They fixed me right up and got me back on the road in no time. I have a Christian Brothers Shop located here in my home town and Ill for sure let them do the fix. All the personnel in Georgetown went above and beyond. On a scale of 1 to 10, Ill give them a 15.I have to say in this day & time, with the friendly service & assistance I received at Georgetown Christian Brothers, Ive been given a renewed faith in mankind. Theyre always honest and will take care of you. Ive been told by other shops that I needed new parts or multiple services immediately costing hundreds if not a couple thousand dollars only to bring it to them and find out I only had a sensor out or just a small problem with a single component. After their Tchaikovsky performed some unauthorized maintenance and the bill came in $500 over the estimate, the shop did the right thing. They honored the initial estimate, nice to use an honest shop.

This is a great place to bring your car. They are people of faith, and it shows. They are always honest. I have had times when they told me that it wasnt necessary to do a repair that I know another shop would have pushed me to do. Their service is superb, their prices are fair, and their work is always done in an excellent way. I give them my highest recommendation.

My Dad took my car in for an alignment which I was told was only $140. After about an hour there or more my dad was told that I needed new bolts and my front end needs to be taken apart for repairs. The bill would average over $400 because they said my front won’t align with the original bolts from the factory. I asked why the price was so high and the explanation was labor. I will not be going to this place again and I suggest everyone check the prices before you agree. To the company reps that read this, don’t bother responding or attempting to waste my time trying to make things better.

JR went the extra mile to quickly get a diagnosis and part so I had my car at the end of day Friday. Since we are seniors and have only one car it was a blessing to have it before the weekend! The rides to and from the shop are greatly appreciated as well. Excellent service.

I went in for a brake change. Im providing my own pads. They want to charge almost 500 to change the pads. Then the guy in the front gets mad because i didnt want to buy new rotors. So he wanted to charge me near 800 for total cost. The rotors had at least .400 per side. The grooves on the face were at a max of .020 deep. So he refused to machine and demanded i buy new ones. No thanks little buddy.

Everything I had done was necessary for the age of my car. I would not go to anyone else!

Though needing some extensive repairs to my daughters vehicle, Fred and the crew at Christian Brothers were patient and understanding while I examined my options and finances to get things done. Once all the pieces fell into place and work proceeded, the completion time was much quicker than expected. After the repairs, their workmanship and warranty, I can send my daughter to college next fall confident that her car will be dependable. I couldnt have bought another vehicle for that price with that confidence.

Dropped my vehicle off for a bunch of work. The mechanics miscommunicated about some of the details and cost a few days and the car sat there. Christian Brothers admitted their mistake and apologized a lot. In the end they knocked off several hundreds of dollars to compensate me where they could. Their honesty was worth more to me than the money. Mechanics who are transparent are hard to come by. Someone else might be able to do it cheaper but a lot of times you get what you pay for. If you’re in Georgetown this is the place to go.

These guys really care. Had difficulty getting a state inspection done and had visited three times but they were always busy (but very curteous). Fourth try they were able to help us with some wait, but when I went to get the vehicle they refused to let me pay. That is truly caring about the customer and excellent for the company brand. Highly recommend them.

Taken a chance on given a review before I get my car back...lol. This is what I know so far. Customer support it very important in my decision to give repeat business. All of the staff here are outstanding when it comes to customer service. Sitting here watching them interact with everyone and havent seen anything that would be a red flag. I am very happy with the service at Christian Brothers Automotive. When I called several service stations about wait times for state inspection, these guys were the ONLY ones to offer me an appointment as an alternative to waiting! I scheduled the appt for a week out. I received an email confirmation. When I showed up, they quickly did my inspection. In the few minutes that I waited, I was please with the comfort of their waiting area and the cleanliness of their bathroom. My son even found a book he loved on the coffee table that he didnt want to leave. I will definitely call them again in the future.

Legendary reputation is definitely deserved. Friendly staff know you by name and always go above and beyond to help. Every time I go in they try to give me coffee or soda, even offered to get me something from Starbucks. Free shuttle service even for quick fixes like oil changes, they also washed my car for free. Can be busy so best to call ahead and they will be happy to schedule you in!

I was quoted an hour to an hour and a half, so immediately pulled out Google maps to find another option.CB is a minute down the road... The Cleanliness of the waiting room, knowledgeable, friendly service employees impressed me when I walked in the very first time. The12 month warranty and the use of BG products tell me that the best parts are being installed in my car as well. I was called and given a price and a choice when additional work was needed. My car needed a lot of work to bring it up to par and it was done all in one day and a courtesy ride to and from the shop was provided. The price that was quoted was what I paid when the work was finished. I’m very knowledgeable about automobile repairs but getting to old and to busy to do it myself anymore. I did check their work it was impressive. I plan to have more work accomplished on my 2002 Ford Explorer at Christian Brothers soon. I feel confident to recommend Christian Brothers to women knowing they will get truthful estimates and excellent work on their cars unlike some auto repair shops.

Excellent service and exceptional and professional team

I was lucky enough to get in a special deal in which CBA did a free oil change for moms and military wives. They were very flexible with my schedule and even drove me to take care of an errand while they worked on my car. All I had to pay for was the inspection. The location is very clean, includes snacks and drinks while you wait, and the staff is amazingly accommodating and friendly. I will be using them again.

This location has the friendliest, helpful, caring, tenured and technically competent staff of any automotive repair facility weve ever used.We have used them before we moved here when visiting Georgetown.They have free, quick shuttle service to and from our homes in Sun City Texas.Communication is prompt and continual while they have your car. They also explain all of the positive conditions of the car as well as options and charges for suggested repairs.Their charges are reasonable and, considering the total positive customer service experience, is worth it.They promote on-site and within the company. Keith, who is a great Service Advisor there, will now run this location due to prior owners promotion to corporate.Joe was our Service Advisor on my recent visit and he will also be a pleasure to work with.

They had a FREE diagnostic special I used for my spare car, which is a 1995 Saturn SL2 that needed a tune up but after a day of hearing nothing from them, I checked on my car at night after hours only to find it parked near another business with all of the doors unlocked! I locked the doors and went home then returned with my towbar and towed the car home. I waited a day or so but still had not heard from them so I made a surprise visit to ask about my car. The look on the guys face when he realized they had lost my car was absolutely priceless. I spoke to the manager and told him how I found it unlocked, etc. and that I had the car, which he was relieved with but was now mad at me and told me to leave and not come back. He must have assumed I only had this one older car but in fact actually own several vehicles that I might have let them service but after they failed my test, I have never been back.

Taking your vehicle to a new mechanic for most people is a challenge, primarily due to trust issues. Either weve had it done to us or have heard of stories of people that take their car in for something simple and walk away with a large bill. Unless you know a lot about cars, its easy to be taken advantage of.You will feel the difference with Christian Brothers in Georgetown. They will run any issues by you before fixing anything and help you prioritize what needs to be fixed. They really want to understand what your goal is for your vehicle...are you keeping it for the next few years or potentially selling it in 6 months. These types of questions helps you determine how much you should spend.As for me, Ive taken a number of my vehicles over the last few years and never once have felt taken advantage of. Their customer service is impeccable and Im happy to recommend them to anyone. Next time youre vehicle needs fixed, let the guys at Christian Brothers serve you...you wont regret it!

The BEST and most AMAZING Automotive shop in town. The staff at Christian Brothers makes you feel like you are priority and there to help you with your vehicle needs. I have been going here for about a year now for all my work on my car. They even helped me to get a repair and worked with me to make sure my car was safe for my children and I to drive in. They have several refreshments and HOT FRESH cookies. (Just ask) There is a shuttle service which for me is great being I only have one vehicle. I have never felt like they want just my money or me to hurry up and get out the door. They take their time and help answer all your questions and address your concerns. The office staff is always happy, upbeat and will make your day better if your having a bad day. Just with the huge smiles that are given upon walking in the door. Greeting each customer by name (unless it is your first time, but come back again I bet they will know you by name). I have had several issues with my car and do not ever feel like they are trying to take advantage of you unlike other places I have been. Taking my vehicle to Christian Brothers was a great experience! I have an old vehicle that is worn out but they did not pressure me into spending more money to fix everything that was wrong. They gave me options so I good make an informed decision. Great people!

The reviews on here are misleading. I went here because folks said they were honest and reasonable in their repairs. I was quoted $1600 to change a bad fuel pump that wasnt bad, $120 to resolve a check engine light that was blown, and then told that it still wouldnt pass inspection unless I paid another $1600 for a cat converter. If you have a car that needs repairs, go somewhere else. These guys are not reasonable.

The front desk staff was very nice and friendly. I just went in for an oil change. I was later notified that my back break pads and rotors needed replaced because the rotors were worn down to 3mm. I was quoted about $400. I decided to wait luckily. I just had new brake pads and rotors put on a year ago. The next day my father and a friend checked my brakes and were going to replace them for me. They informed me all of my brakes looked great and definitely did not need replacing. My father called Christian Brothers and was told the technician uses some sort of device to measure the pads and based on that they recommended they be replaced. I would think twice before having any work done here.
