This store has so many beautiful sewing supplies but most of them are expensive, but theyre very high quality. I thought the purse patterns and some of the fabrics were affordable for my small sewing hobby.

I have driven by Creative Sewing for 2 years. I have an embroidery machine that I have had NO IDEA to use. I decided to call to see if they do private lessons (even tho they do not sell my brand). Lisa (the owner) was able to set up a private lesson (within one week) with me and let me tell you....I loved it. She wasnt judgmental (I do not have an infinity for sewing and embroidery... AT ALL). She was patient, informative and you can totally tell that this is as natural for her as breathing. I will totally go there for all my embroidery supplies, more private lessons if needed, and any and all information. Its refreshing to see that GREAT customer service isnt a thing of the past...

Great quilt shop. Always get what I need there. They also starting doing buying events on Facebook every first and third Thursday of the month and I have enjoyed watching and purchasing items from them.

Really nice quilt shop with a very friendly staff. My wife is actually the quilter which means I am the spectator! Honestly, being in many quilt shops in many states, this one is nice. Good selection of fabrics, kits and accessories. They also service and sell Babylock. The techs seem to know more than just lubricating a machine and are polite and professional. They also listen to your concerns and issues with your equipment.

This is a nice family owned sewing and quilting business in Geneva, IL. I have been going to this business for many years. They have quilt kits, Kimberbell products, sewing notions, a nice selection of fabrics, thread, Babylock sewing and embroidery machines, as well as sergers, etc. I am an apparel sewer but occasionally make totes. They have many patterns and kits, too. There are classes one can take but right now classes are offered via live streaming on Facebook because of the Corona Virus. Lisa Flyte, the owner, is extremely nice and helpful, as well as her associates. If youre interested in this kind of business, definitely check it out.

Cannot thank the Creative Sewing Center enough!! My dress ripped all the way up the back on our way to a wedding. The ladies at Creative Sewing Center went out of their way to drop everything they were doing to help me. The dress looked fabulous and they provided an expertly done double stitch to save me from more accidents. Saved my but literally!!! THANK YOU!

I took a sewing 101 class that I found on Groupon. It was fabulous! We made the most adorable tote bag. I was told to bring nothing but your smile, so thats what I did! They had all the supplies, fabrics and sewing machine ready and waiting when I arrived. The teacher was actually the owner of the store, and, boy, was she wonderful! You dont need any previous experience, as she has the patience of a saint! I cant believe we completed such a cute bag so quickly! Afterwards, I walked around the store and ended up talking to other employees. Everyone was so friendly and knowledgeable. I will definitely be taking more classes and visiting again for supplies! Love this store!!!

The first time I ever walked into this shop is that I never felt ignored that was a good impression to me. Also not buying my machine from them they helped me immediaetly with the problem I was having with my Machine. My sewing machine upper thread sensor was giving me an error message that my machine kept telling me to re-thread my upper thread guide. They were backed up a month with machine servicing the day I walked in. So they said they would help me get my machine working so I can take it home and still be able to use my machine until they are caught up and bring my machine back on the date the specify that they would be caught up. They did just that they got my machine problem resolved so I could use my machine until I return to have a tune-up and part replaced that they took off temporarily and order the part. He fixed and found some thread caught adjusted my bobbin tension for me. They took off a bent part under the needle plate that did not affect my machine working. They ordered this new part and when I came back on the date they said they would be caught up with servicing machines which they were. I was impressed they had my machine done in 3 days and called me to let me know it was done. It is about a 36 min drive for me from Schaumburg, IL I have found it has been well worth the the 1 1/2 hr round trip for this kind of treatment. I have not found this kind of treatment in years with a sewing machine shop / dealer. They treated me like I was a long time customer for the first time walking through their doors very helpful. They answered my questions about some things that my previous dealer would not give me as straight answer on. Also their pricing for machine service is very affordable only $145.00 for a tune up and they replaced a part. My previous dealer in Arlington Heights, IL charges $250.00 for a tune-up and that does not include any part replacements. I asked them to clean my embroidery arm out for me and they did that to. I will be returning to them from now on for all my sewing machine needs. Small shop they help people that walk through their door and that is what makes you keep coming back to purchase a new machine or sewing supplies, take classes etc.
