Riverside Receptions blew our expectations out of the water. From the very first visit to our wedding day, we could not be any more pleased. Everyone we worked with was beyond helpful and accommodating to our questions/needs. We still cant get over how timely and knowledgeable Amy is (THANK YOU!). The food is amazing, venue is gorgeous, pricing is very reasonable and the wedding package has everything you could need (chairs, linens, centerpieces, cake, bar, food, etc.). The staff was so friendly and we were very impressed with how quickly our food came out at the reception for all of our guests. We’ve received so many compliments from our guests about the food and staff at Riverside. Finally, I cannot thank Riverside enough for exceeding my expectations. When we walked into the room, we were speechless. Everything was SO beautiful. As you can see, we could rave on and on about Riverside. They made one of the most important days to us a dream come true. Thank you Riverside Receptions!

What a lovely venue! Our floristry studio had a wedding here this past weekend, and the entire staff- every single human- was just beyond amazing. Kind, helpful, funny- it made for a perfect day. When I misplaced my keys (yep🙃) they stepped up to look, amidst so much going on, on their own ends. I honestly cannot wait to go back. I wont cry next time.

Nice place for reception. The greeter at the door is very bossy. Upon entering my wife used the restroom on the fist floor. The greeter told me that there is a private party that I had to leave. I told him my wife is using the restroom. I told again he will have to wait. He looked at me wanting to fight. Poor customer service.

Riverside Receptions was exceptional in every way for our daughter’s recent wedding. The outstanding service is the perfect compliment to the character-filled venue and the riverside location. Navigating planning a wedding during COVID was very stressful, but Amy at Riverside was kind, supportive, responsive and flexible. In the week before the wedding, Tina’s expertise helped us fine-tune the day-of details. Having most things (food, bar, cake, etc.) in one packaged price simplified our planning and budgeting. The food was fabulous (the bacon bar is now legend). We used several of their recommended vendors (DJ, photographer, etc.) and were not disappointed. I can’t recommend Riverside highly enough!

We had an afternoon wedding that went absolutely great. Every detail was taken care of before we even knew it needed to be taken care of. The food was awesome!!! It was a wonderful experience.

It was my first time there. I was there for my nephews wedding reception. It was a very nice place, and has a gorgeous view of the Fox River. The food was delicious and the wait staff were very friendly.

Riverside hosted our ceremony and reception yesterday!!! They did such a great job we couldn’t wait to leave a review. Everyone raved about the brunch we served. All our decorations were put exactly where we asked and were beautifully arranged. And they were very happy to work with our limited budget. Marissa and Renee kept us on schedule and managed our cake, flower and dj providers smoothly. We could not have ordered a more perfect day.

Riverside Receptions exceeded all of our expectations for our daughters wedding on July 24th. They have every detail down to a science and Marissa and Renee could not have been more helpful and pleasant throughout the evening. Amy was wonderful in guiding us through the planning process during these uncertain covid times, and her and Tinas calm reassurances were so welcome. The food was outstanding throughout the night and the service was top notch. The Queens Sweets Table and the late night pizza were big hits! We had a small wedding with 75 guests and the downstairs space fit our needs very well. The character of the space, the view of the river, the separate bar area, and the access to the outside patio area were perfect for entertaining our guests. I wholeheartedly recommend Riverside Receptions!

Were there for a wedding reception. Servers were very professional. Table service was very clean and shiny. Food was some of the best Ive had. Dance afterwards was a lot of fun. Highly recommend this place for get togethers.

Went to a wedding here. The place itself is ok. But the staff was tip top. Bartender named Roger killed it, and Miguel and Christian were also amazing. Thanks!

Had our wedding reception there 15 years ago. Nice facility with great character. Separate bar area for cocktail hour. Prices were very competitive. Stayed at the Harrington next door. Great night and we are still married!

The floor to ceiling window views of the Fox River from the banquet room is magnificent. You feel like you are a part of the river. It has a nice bright and happy feel to the room. I had my wedding ceremony and reception here this past weekend for a very small group and it was absolutely perfect. Everyone we spoke to were very accommodating and the service was exceptional! The indoor space is stunning and the views of the river and courtyard were great to have for the background of our pictures. I would highly recommend having any kind of event in this space!

Riverside Receptions is the only place I would want to be married, or at least have my reception. Its in beautiful Geneva Illinois , right on the river. Which ever room you have your wedding reception , or ever more beautiful get married with the river as s your back drop and then just have your reception right there also its perfect!! Google a look at Riverside Receptions in Geneva and see how perfect!! It has stone fireplace , all windows along the river but cozy like getting married in a castle thats cozy and charming!! Tina is General Manager and she is so wonderful, professional, and just down to earth cool!! Love wedding at this place!!

5 stars isn’t even close to high enough of a rating for this venue. This place is a TEN. We had our wedding at riverside receptions last Friday and I couldn’t wait to review. Every single staff member was incredibly helpful, kind, attentive- a true dream team. Our food was amazing, the atmosphere was to die for, the space absolutely gorgeous. They went above and beyond our wildest expectations to make sure our day went off without a hitch from the early days of planning all the way through the last moment before we left. So many of our guests have already told us that our wedding was one of, if not THE, best wedding they’ve been to. Our sweets table was extravagant and beautiful. The space is so incredibly versatile. My husband and I feel so blessed to have found this venue and are eternally grateful to every single person from Riverside that enabled us to have the wedding of a lifetime. Special thanks to Tina and Amy who helped me through the whole planning process. If any bride or groom-to-be is looking for a venue- don’t pass up this amazing space or team. They are hands down the best of the best!!!!

I HIGHLY recommend Riverside Receptions! I had my wedding here and it was an absolute DREAM. We worked a lot with Frances and Jessica and they were both professional, attentive, communicative, and patient. The venue was stunning and breathtaking overlooking the river. The workers were all timely and organized. Not one single thing went wrong for our special day. I wish I could relive my wedding over and over again and I am so thankful I chose Riverside Receptions for our special day.

My husband and I are so glad we chose Riverside Receptions as our venue to hold our ceremony and reception for our wedding. The professionalism of the entire staff was incredible ! I worked closely with Amy to work on our custom menu and she was SO helpful. Her response time was impeccable and she always was there for anything I needed. It was awesome, especially for a Type A bride, I never had any doubts or was uneasy working with them. I also worked with Jessica and Neal and they were also so unbelievably wonderful! We received so many compliments of holding our wedding at Riverside and would recommend it to any couple looking for a space that has a wonderful ambience right next to the water with an incredible staff!

What a great place to host any event! I have been to a wedding and a corporate event here and both times were blown away by the friendliness of the staff and overall cleanliness. The layout is mischievous, but all of the riverstone buildings are like that! The exposed brick is a beautiful touch and it has an overall warm vibe to it. A big shout out to the coat check crew!!

ABSOLUTELY PERFECT!!! Riverside put on such a magical ceremony/reception for my daughters wedding. The river view and twinkle lights added such a beautiful backdrop to the decor. There is so much planning that goes into a wedding and they made it so easy. The staff was top notch! THE FOOD was amazing! I am still getting text on how wonderful the dinner and the reception was. Also, we used their recommendation for photographer and DJ - they were both great!! Thank you from the bottom of my heart Riverside!

Married 1/12/19Working with Riverside Receptions toward our special day was indeed just as special an experience. Amy, Tina, Jessica and Neal were attentive, easy-going and incredibly responsive and helpful with making all the little details come together flawlessly and effortlessly. The venue itself has a timeless appeal that I still find myself smiling about. The food was amazing and we likewise continued to hear that from our guests throughout the night!!! The staff was extremely on point with everything from seamlessly flipping the upstairs from ceremony to reception, to transitioning between the various courses. It was an absolute perfect day thanks to a fantastic team of people. Thank you RR!!!

My husband and I had our wedding at riverside on Saturday April 8, 2017. Our coordinator was Amy and she was absolutely amazing to work with. She made the whole process very easy. We have always driven past riverside but never thought we could afford having our wedding there. We went to see another place before going to riverside, last year, and we are so glad we went there. We couldnt pass up the winter wedding package and price. All that is included saved us so much money. We had the whole building for the day and it was beyond worth it. Amy helped us the whole time, she is great with communication, and answered all my questions. The service the day of the wedding was awesome. We couldnt have asked for a better day or better staff to work our wedding. I highly recommend Riverside Receptions for any wedding or event. You cant beat the beautiful views of the water either.

Was at a wedding tonight. I have to say Louie the host was amazing. He was kind and so helpful with a family member who had some mobility issues. Oliver the bar tender was on his game and overly kind with everyone he seemed to interact with. Definitely a hospitable place for a wedding.

Very nice eloquent place to have a wedding reception or any kind of gathering. They have an upstairs banquet hall with a full service Bar and dance floor. They also have a large full service Bar and seating area on the main lower level which is good for private parties, birthday parties, etc.... I wouldve given them a 5 star review, but I didnt think the steak that was served at the wedding reception I attended was anything spectacular. But it wasnt terrible either. Theres a bar across the outside Commons area called the Dam Bar & Grill which I highly recommend for the after party. Friendly attentive bartenders, local atmosphere, decent drink specials.

Excellent venue. We had our wedding ceremony & reception here and it was a good experience on all levels. The pricing was reasonable. The staff was excellent. The food was fantastic. There was an elevator for the grandparents. When a certain Maid of Honor lost my ring, the entire staff was down on the floor scouring the area with the family (we found it). The location is good, because it has great river views and there is a small bar next door for the after-party. We had many people tell us what a great time they had and specifically mentioned how good the food was. (Get the Sirloin).

Attended a wedding here. The venue was beautiful, the staff was polite and courteous, the food delicious. Easy to find, plenty of parking on site. The view of the Fox river was beautiful and made a stunning backdrop for the ceremony.

My wife and I attended a wedding at this location. I looked at all the pictures of this place before we even left our southern state. I can say that pictures do not do it justice. Its so much more beautiful than the pictures. Also - At the reception, we had THE BEST chicken dinner Ive EVER had in my life! This is coming from someone in their 50s so Ive had hundreds of chicken dinners. THIS one was the best ever! There was over 200 people at this wedding at EVERYTHING was hot, spiced perfectly and the chicken was very moist. I would give this place 10 stars JUST because of the fantastic dinner alone!!!

Our daughter was married this past New Years Eve and we decided to have the reception at Riverside Receptions in Geneva Illinois.We thought the setting in their facility was unique and overlooking the Fox River from the second level was beautiful.Their reception coordinator, Jessica, was right on top of things from our first meeting until closing things down at the end of the reception.The Hors D’ouvres, soup, salad and main course were all delicious and the wait staff were excellent.It was a wonderful New Years Eve wedding reception that we’ll all remember fondly.Thank you Riverside Receptions!Joe and Teresa Rogus

We used this venue as our rehearsal dinner for our wedding. The food was great and nicely portioned. The staff was friendly and on the spot. The views are great too.

We could not have asked for a better experience with Riverside Receptions!!! They took all the stress of planning out of the process and we knew we were in good hands from the start! When I walked into the room on our wedding day, it was beyond perfect and so magical! Frances treated our day as if it were her own, she made the process of turning the space into our own so easy. Public parking is available, but you will need to walk. They do not have valet that I have found. Once inside, the venue is interesting. There is an upstairs hall that has a great overlook of the Fox River. Downstairs has a patio space for smaller groups. Worth a look if you are planning an event in the area.

Our daughters wedding was held at Riverside Receptions recently. I have to thank the wonderful staff for a beautiful wedding. I would especially like to thank Norma, who was extremely helpful in organizing everything.The venue was beautiful and the courtyard reminded me of being in a quaint European town. The flower were lovely.The food was very good. The appetizers our daughter chose were bruschetta, bacon wrapped dates, and crab cakes. The crab cakes were great!.The wedding cake was also very good.I would highly recommend this venue

Delicious appetizers and charcuterie spread at a wedding. Vegetables were severely undercooked but steak was fantastic.

We attended a wedding at Riverside Receptions a few weeks ago. What an unbelievably gorgeous venue! Although the day was very overcast and misty, the indoor, riverside ceremony was better than a beach wedding. The staff was attentive and courteous, the 2nd floor reception room has a lovely lodge-like feel to it. The food was excellent. Outside is a nice deck that spans the glasswalled first floor overlooking the Fox River. At night it is incredibly romantic. The entryway to RR is just off a lovely little, picturesque courtyard suitable for photo shoots. Truly a superb place, easy to access, right off IL Route 38 in Geneva.

Beautiful setting and delicious food. Not a lot of space and not great for receptions with a speaker and slide show. Another problem was that there was TONS of bugs thats not only annoyed us but made the place less visually appealing
