Staff was friendly and the place was nicely organized. I was able to get in and out quick. Which was nice since I was in a hurry.

This dollar general replaced family dollar.There is little difference.The prices are decent.The store is cluttered and disorganized.

The store is nice and clean. Not at all what I expected. A nice variety of items. We needed help looking for mugs and the associate took us right to them. She was pleasant, smiling and very nice. It is a store that I will return to.

The employees were friendly and helpful. The store itself is a little dirty and cluttered. The prices are about normal for a dollar general, which ended up being cheaper than The Country Market in the same parking lot.

This Dollar General off Grant St isnt great. Not a lot of variety, shelves are messy, low on product and good luck getting your cart through any aisles with their load all over the store blocking the aisles with no one stocking it. Definitely understaffed or poor management or both. I would recommend going to the Lake Station Dollar General.

The cashier/manager is so rude at this location. I have visited this location only 2 times in the last 6 months and only because she was very rude and unpleasant to myself as well as the workers. She is not personable, friendly or professional by any means. She does not greet you or thank you and what bothered me the most is that she kept yelling out my payment method. If I’m ever in need of an item this much again I will find a substitute or go out my way to not shop here again. By the way my visit was at 4:06 pm today and it wasn’t even busy enough for her not to greet or thank me or to say the least give eye contact and smile.

Actually this is one of my favorite Dollar Generals is one closer to home that I dont even bother with. One of the counter ladies has a horribly nasty attitude at the closer Dollar General. However this Dollar General near the Walgreens is my favorite one.
