Hair cuts and beard trims are great. All 3 guys have fun and treat you nice. This aint no ladies salon. Walls covered with automotive signs and vintage van memorabilia. Grab you something cold out of the fridge too!

I rarely ever leave reviews, but felt this warranted one.Their business hours on Google said they opened at 8am on Friday. I drove 30 minutes and got there around 9:15 only to find out they didnt open until 10am, so I had to wait in my car for 45 min. When I finally got in, I showed the guy pictures of the kind of style and cut I was looking for and I told him about my frustrations with trying to find someone who could cut my hair the way I wanted it bc it seems like everywhere I go the quality just isnt there. Unfortunately, this cut was no different.I wanted a mid skin fade. He cut my hair for 15 min and was done. He used a 1 guard, but tried telling me that was considered a skin fade even though it wasnt all the way down to the skin. On top, it was literally twice as long on one side as it was on the other and wasnt blended very well at all, leaving my comb over looking like trash. No legit fade and blend on top should ever take less than 30-45 min if someone is really taking their time to give you what you asked for.The cut felt rushed and the attention to detail was non-existent. Sometimes you dont really notice how bad it is until you get home and can really take a closer look at it. Maybe I expected too much for $15, but that was still a disappointing cut even if it had been done for free.The guys there were nice, the shop was cool, but overall it was not a good experience from start to finish. I wont be going back.

Absolutely original and so much fun for young and old... You could not ask for better service and a relaxed environment. If your and automotive lover you will enjoy the decor, history, nostalgia and chit chat at this barbers shop! Hair cuts are top notch, clean, and stylish.

Absolutely immaculate haircut. First thing you notice is the great atmosphere when you walk in. The guys were friendly and funny. With a hot towel, beard line, a free beer, and a great cut all for 25$ before tip? You’d be hard pressed to find a better value cut. But don’t let the low price turn you away. Their cuts are professional and the beard lines are clean. I am glad to have found my new barber and I am sure that these guys will soon be your new favorite too.

Took my son who is three years old for his second ever barbershop haircut (prior to that it was me due to COVID. Barbers/staff were great, as soon as we walked-in we were greeted friendly, Jay was my sons barber and was great with him (my son). Staff immediately started welcoming me with shop convo and what do you know, a beer! Clean cut my son left, I left with good conversation, and had a beer amidst everything. Highly recommend!

Best barber shop for men in the area. I used to go to Revelry In Fuquay and would wait 2 hours. I think these guys are just as good and definitely fast as I have never had to wait more than 5 minutes. Cash only but I kinda like that old school way.

This place is the best

This is a cool barbershop that caters to all ages. We took my 3.5yr old son there for his 1st haircut. They changed the channel to kids shows for him. They have multiple sized seat adjusters and when it was clear these options were not going to work they were fine with him sitting in his daddys lap. They were patient and didnt try to rush us in and out. They also did a great job with my sons haircut. We didnt have a plan for what we wanted, just needed to be shorter. It looks great and I love it. Also being his 1st cut they offered a lock of his hair without my asking. We will definitely be going back again.

Went to visit them at my youngest sons suggestion. Went around 10am or so for a good clean haircut and beard shaping. Lets just say theyre stuck with me now.All three men in there are good people...the kind when you just walk in and feel at home. They also sell great products and they offer you up an ice cold beer on the house.Doesnt get much better than an old school Barber Shop such as Van-tique barbershop.

I’ve been taking my 9 year old son to Van tique since the beginning. The barbers here are amazing! The prices are fair for the service you receive. My son loves the fact he can grab a free root beer with his haircut! Guys you can get a free beer with your cut! 😉 NOW Jay has this AMAZING massage chair you can melt away in! I’ve been to school for massage and I must say that chair can give me a run for my money!! Van tique is a MUST place to go for your man cut, man shave, and now stress relief needs!

I was across the road when I saw the old barber pole. I didnt know there was a barber here.... So I gave it a go. As a walk in, you expect to wait, but I timed it just right. The place is great, I love the old style feel, and the TV showing truck rebuilds! Owners are cool - so much more than me, but I felt comfortable (you can even get a free beer). The haircut was also very good, so I will be going back.

We first heard about Van-tique at the Garner Fireman’s Day festival. My husband had been a few times for a cut and I had beenlooking for a time to get the kiddo in. Our 3.5 year old’s first time at a salon not being scared of the clippers and letting them be used on him! He was SO calm and quiet. 😆 But he was brave and the end result was so handsome. Hands down best place took my son in today (he is 16 months) for his first cut and I was beyond happy with the outcome my son has sensory issues and everybody there was so patient even tho he was crying and freaking out they did the best they could with what my son let them do and I still love it .....thanks guys!!!!

I came into this barber shop not knowing what to expect. I have been getting my hair cut at fantastic Sams and sports clips for years. Nothing against these places. My first day meeting Jay, he tells me to grab a FREE COLD BEER and ask me to take a seat, already satisfied, he ask me what kind of cut I want, Never having a real barber I didnt know what a fade was. I felt like a new man leaving the Van-Tique barber shop, but something was different. This hair cut was so good, I could taste the air we breathe. Men asked me for autographs and women asked me for my telephone number. This is the greatest barber shop in the world and I recommend it 1000x times over.
