I found FT Auto about four years ago and have not been to another auto repair facility since. At first, I thought they were too good to be true, but they are amazing. Their work is the best and they never try to up sell you on work that doesnt need to be done.Its nice to have a place to take your cars where the people are like family and its always a great experience. Ill never go to a dealership again to get work done on my cars.

Just a heads up...they are closed permanently. Apparently their auto repair quality far exceeded their revenue. Great place, great work...they are missed!

I love this place! Scott, Tony, and everyone else Ive worked with are always super friendly and helpful, honest about what repairs are urgent or can wait, and never try to upsell you. Ive been coming here for about a year since I needed brakes replaced on my Mercedes. After calling around for quotes, I was honestly shocked to hear Tonys because it was so much lower than the others.They also clean your car with most services! Or apologize profusely if theyre backed up and dont have time (not that I care... I come here for repairs, not car washes). Sometimes with minor problems theyll even fix it for free - - Like today, some hoses on my air pump came loose and they didnt charge me any evaluation fees, and I was in and out in 15 minutes. Just all around great people that you can trust.EDIT (3/9/18): Im adding to this because I just had another great experience with FT Auto. My indicator for a schedule C maintenance has been on for a while (Im a procrastinator) so I finally took it in expecting to pay at least $200. Scott called me later in the day and told me, no, the internal calculator was wrong and I dont need another schedule C for at least 5,000 miles. They could have easily done the work (or not done it and still charged me), but instead they were honest and gave me the simple oil change I needed, while also taking care of a few other small issues.Also, I didnt realize before that they offer free loaner cars if you need to leave yours there. I live nearby and was able to work from home that day so I just asked for a ride back, but its good to know for the next time they need to keep mine for a longer period!

These guys are the best in the biz! Visited the shop today due to an issue with my emergency the guys were all over it and got me and rectified it and even did it for free........I was expecting to pay about 50$ but it was free and I enjoyed the conversation with the techs as well. Very friendly and just downright nice folks!!

The entire experience with FT Auto has been fantastic. To start, I called around to get some pricing on a service reminder for my Mercedes. Scott not only took the time to answer my questions but was also very competitive in his pricing. In fact, I got one quote that was a little higher but that included an extra service and Scott matched their price. The price he quoted me was out the door, no hidden prep or shop fees, taxes, etc.He asked me to schedule an appointment so they would have a loaner vehicle for me, which I was more than happy to do. The service was done on time. I dealt with Scott, Tony and another gentleman whose name I didnt get. All three of them were courteous and willing to answer any questions I had.I would definitely recommend Scott and FT Auto for any Mercedes work needed.

Cannot thank these guys enough, had some issues with my car and they were very understanding with my personal situation. I commend Tony and Tom on their knowledge with cars. Definatly puts faith back in the meaning of honest mechanic.

I really like the fact that these guys are so knowledgeable and specialize in BMW. Well, they also specialize in Mercedes but Im partial to BMW.They are very good with getting your car back in shape and keeping it that way. I fully trust them. I have owned many BMW automobiles over the years.

Stop paying dealership pricing, FT Autos rates are competitive with most indie shops. Tony and Tom are mechanics extraordinaire! Flew to Dallas to buy a car and while test driving the car the service engine soon light came on. In search of a non bias opinion of the car I google searched BMW mechanic and boy was I lucky that FT popped up! On short notice they got me in right away and though they were very busy they diagnosed the vehicle right away. Very affordable price for such quick accurate knowledge. They added Freon to my older Mercedes and now I have cold air.They warned me that it could leak out so they put something in it to trace any future leaks. They explained everything to me very thoroughly.

I work in the Downtown Garland area and walked out to a nightmare yesterday evening. There was black liquid all over the ground under my Toyota Tacoma. I opened the hood and it looked like an explosion had occurred. Thank God, FT Auto was just on the other side of the street. The owner walked over with a mechanic and a flashlight. They diagnosed my problem fairly quickly - and thankfully, were even able to resolve the issue right where I was parked. They were so friendly and reassuring and just wonderful really. I almost burst into tears of joy when they quoted the cost of their service. I was so relieved, and I feel like they were exceptionally generous. So, to summarize - great service, great kindness, great people! Please try them out the next time you need service on your vehicle!

They got over on me! Never again!! Took vehicle here for clicking noise coming from front axles when turning, which was diagnosed as the cv axle boot torn and no grease inside boot housing. I was then charged $710.48 just for labor, and $176.48 for cv boot kit parts! After repairs, the noise was still there whenever I turned the wheel! The mechanic then said I needed an entire new cv axle for the grand total of $1500.00 per side!! So basically the $886 I paid was for nothing! why not just replace the entire axle in the first place instead of trying to patch it up, and double charge me for the same problem?? ..I dont like to leave negative reviews, but they deserve this one!

Best auto repair shop on Texas. They exceed most dealerships yet charge much less. I lived and worked in Detroit, Mi for 33 years and I can heartily recommend this shop. I even bought a BMW from them!

Honest and only did the work I needed. I had an alignment issue with my Jeep and one of my ABS sensors wasnt working . It had been in a wreck before I got it. Tom, at FT Auto, was able to align all the tires except the front right. Instead of throwing parts at it and making it expensive and time consuming he recommended Mark Paynes Collision (take a look at them too) and when he found that the ABS sensor wasnt the issue he refunded me the money for the part and didnt charge me for the time. Honesty like that is hard to find. I especially appreciated how he took the time to walk me through the issues when I showed up to get the Jeep instead of shoving the bill at me and moving on with his life. Thanks Tom!

Went in to have a headlight bulb replaced in a 2012 BMW (estimated $30 bulb). Unfortunately BMW used rocket scientist to develop the headlight which requires its own computer module (crazy!). Scott gave me a reasonable price for the additional repair, offered a very quick turn around and did not charge me for the diagnosis. Clean shop, well organized, friendly service.

I wanted to find a BMW expert near my job in downtown Garland. I searched here in google and found this shop. I called them up because I was hearing a strange noise when I started the car in the mornings. I left it with them so they could keep it overnight, and they accurately identified the problem, called me with a price, and fixed it the next day!!Clean shop, knowledgeable and friendly!!

This company specializes in Mercedes Benz & BMWs. I took my CLK350 soft top Benz in for repair. They were flexible working with my time requirements. They have factory trained mechanics. I would give them a six star rating if possible.

These guys are good and fast. I made the mistake of taking my car to a different mechanic initially, before I found this place. These guys do it right the first time.

Me and my wife were visiting Texas and a couple friends who live in Garland. We drove from LA. Our 2006 Nissan Altima needed a transmission fluid change. I left my car here and they said it will take an hour and they kept their word on it. Usually when other mechanics see cars with out of state plates they usually try to over charge you or maybe tamper with your car. Nope not these guys. Got my car service and made it back to LA safely. I would come here again whenever our next trip to Texas will be in the near future.

This autoshop is amazing!! I couldn’t have found a better shop. I had a flat tire on my way to work plus a major dent in my door. Anthony managed to change my tire and he easily just popped the door back into place. The dent is gone plus my car has no damage! Magic if you ask me. All this was done on my lunch break. It look them less than 30 minutes to get me back on track. I’m so grateful I found this autoshop. Thanks for everything Anthony! #savedtheday

My Ford Fiesta had a rattling noise and I had no idea what was going on. Took it into FT Auto and Regan got my car looked at within five minutes of walking in the door. Scott personally drove it around to check out the noise and Jose thoroughly inspected the car. Within 20 minutes Jose found the problem was a missing bolt from a previous repair at another shop. The bolt was replaced and I was out the door within the hour. FT Auto is honest and efficient. They didnt even charge me for fixing someone elses mistake. Great customer service and I would recommend them.

Took my Audi here to fix what I thought was a minor problem. They had to bring it to another specialist in Plano to diagnose the issue. Ordered the part they told me, only to find out it actually needed another part not the one ordered. Owner told me he talk to Audi and was sure this is the part needed. Guess what, Im not assured so I left with my vehicle in the same condition. Save yourself TIME and MONEY, if you have an Audi bring it elsewhere.

Be ware! Complete rip off. I have paid them over 4k and they ruined my vehicle. Now they will not fix or return my money. They may try to deny like the other bad review.Dont trust. I will.report to BBB and rip-off report. Be ware!

Love this place. Even though I live out in Royse city. I am still willing to commute because its hard to find mechanics that want to do it right the first time. Ive seen these guys get made because they broke something, then replaced it. If they make a mistake, they are less likely to blame it on the owner like other shops do. I have a 06 GMC 1500 they were able to keep alive with a motor overhaul. They mainly work on BMWs, Mercedes, and other high end cars. Not the biggest fans on Audi or VW, so good luck having them look. FT Auto are more than likely to work with you with anything you have to bring them, mechanically wise.
