Service here was great! Owner and staff were very helpful and knowledgeable about what I needed to fix my issue and I was able to get my car repaired the same day. They did not make me feel like they were here just to take my money but really cared about the safety of my vehicle. I would highly recommend First Choice Auto!

Don’t bring your car here! I bought my car here for a diagnostic back in November and it’s just been sitting here since! No work was done, and they charged me for a diagnostic that told me absolutely nothing! I wish I would have gone with my first mind and chose a different repair shop because this has been the worst experience of my life. Now I’m having to have the vehicle towed to another repair facility when I’ve water literally months with this one! Not to mention my car was completely ransacked and back seat torn out. You’ve been warned.

Quality, efficient and professional service. They really went the extra mile to walk me through the requested repairs so I had a clear picture of what was needed and very importantly did not oversell me on unnecessary repairs. The quality of work and how they interacted with me and other customers in the shop gave me the impression that they are looking for lifelong customers not for a short term profit (which is very refreshing!). Overall very positive experience!

I take my 2016 Subaru Outback here. I found this place based on reviews. These guys have always treated me with respect, provide trustworthy recommendations, and only sell me parts they know I need. The few times Ive gone in there I know what I need done and without asking theyll confirm my suspicions thus leading me to believe they are trustworthy. Ive heard them speaking with parts dealers over the phone making sure they receive the correct parts for customers. Their prices are fair IMO and much less than the dealerships!

I love this auto repair shop! I am new to Dallas and went here based on a recommendation from a friend. The wait time was very reasonable for a walk-in, no appointment. The staff, Mike, Joe, and Kevin, were very professional, yet friendly and sociable. The technicians worked fast and completed an overall assessment beyond what I brought my car in for. The company of the other customers was even better as we made conversation during the wait. And lastly, if not most importantly, the price for my repairs was right. No gimmicks, no surprises, just plain honesty. Initially I had gone to a Toyota Dealership and they were going to charge be $130 just to diagnose the problem.... Im so glad I reconsidered and found First Choice Auto!

Had my car towed to this place to have it repaired thought I was going to Top Choice Auto and it kept giving me First Choice Auto went to pick my car up and found out it wasnt at Top Choice it would ask first was at first choice they prepare my car is not the same they had oil fingerprints Parts all over my car never never go to this place Im grateful that my car is running but I just dont feel comfortable and it as I would have if it had gone to Top Choice Auto on Forest Lane not First Choice Auto not my first choice ever

I recently inherited a 2001 Ram 1500 from my father, after his passing. While it was fine for an 88 year old man to drive to the corner store and to church, it was in no condition to drive on DFW highways. They have made major and minor repairs to the vehicle for less than half the cost of City Garage estimates. Mike has filled Joe’s shoes, (while he is out on a well deserved vacation), with excellence. They even threw in some additional repairs as a customer service !I have been a customer of First Choice before they were First Choice. In 1989 they were Swami Auto in an old gas station where Taco Cabana is today. I worked down on Plano Road at the time. I moved to Oklahoma and now to Arlington and have been with First Choice the whole time. They have repaired 8 different vehicles of mine over the years, in addition to several other friends I have sent there. Not one complaint.

Best ever local mechanics. Ive known them 30+ years now. They are friendly and do a great job at fair prices. They will even explain when you dont need expensive work done, such as repair something instead of an expensive replacement!! I trust them and will always use them instead of rip off dealerships.

Crooks! Took my car in knowing and telling them what was wrong with it but they refused to listen and instead wanted to change all kinds of unnecessary parts and on top of that charged me $150 just to look at my car! That is outrageous! Only go here if you want to be ripped off and spend a lot of money for nothing!

This location of business is exactly what it says it is FIRST CHOICE. I tried to go to a different shop for my car because it was convenient for me at the time and all I did was waste time, and received false information. I then went where I was supposed to go in the first place. Joe has been helping all of my family and friends for many many years but I had a honor to be helped by his brother Mike that did nothing less than what Joe would have done. First Choice Auto is a great mechanic shop and it should be your 1st choice when deciding on a good mechanic. I absolutely love the fact that whenever I need car services done, l will not get ripped off by these guys. My sister has been dealing with them for about 10+yrs. and has NEVER had an issues. And for those Mercedes owners like myself who is/was paying high prices, well First Choice is the place. My car is a 2011, 90K miles and nothing but a battery replaced and the regular service jobs. I had AAA tow my car to this shop per my fiances recommendation .. I was leaving work and my car wouldnt start after I had been running the air in accessory mode for about an hour. AAA gave me a jump, but told me my alternator was draining my battery and I would still need to be towed even though after the jump my car started. My fiance and I went to the First Choice shop yesterday and Mike was truly amazing. He diagnosed my car and determined it was perfectly fine. Battery and alternator working well. I come here all the time for just about everything. Everyone is nice but the owner (I think, I could be wrong) an older guy who always sits in the front always takes care of me. Super nice, respectful and very knowledgeable about everything, he doesnt try to take advantage cause Im young and dont know anything about cars. My dealership told me I needed a new battery one time and I said no, let me check and see what he says first. He confined they tried to feed me bs and honestly he couldve said I did and took my money then and there. He told me a price so cheap one time he looked and couldnt believe he gave it to me that cheap. His brother is helping him now and hes nice as well. Very honest people and I never had to come back because something they fixed wasnt correct. Ive been coming here for years.

I was guaranteed they had cars for $1000 down. Been at childrens with my son getting test done.. I was guaranteed to get in a car for that price I was even walked to the car that was $1000 down. Then it jumped up to $1500 That was ok I guess wasnt what I was told on the phone to get me in the store! I was told I could give $1100 and pay the $400 Friday witch it was more than I wanted to spend. Went threw the process then all the sudden they wanted $1500 up front! Guess sales people will tell u what you want to here to get u in the door . Sale lost over $400. Make sure you are told the truth before you put yourself in an inconvenience..the Lexus has been being drove by the manager daily. Salesman Chris told me it was for $2500 down but its been there so long they dropped it to $1000! No one seemed to be on the same page . BEWARE!

Ive been a customer of Mikes for almost 5 years since K automotive and am always pleased with all aspects of the work. From body to engine work, Ive probably saved thousands of dollars on repairs. Recently the dealer wanted to charge approximately $1000 for repairs on one of my cars. I took it to First Choice and saved $450!

Went to First Choice Auto with the issue of my coolant light constantly coming on. The owner knew what the problem was ( I needed a radiator flush to prevent the car from constantly overheating) right away and got me fixed up in a reasonable time with great explanation and customer service. Will definitely go back !!!
