Very fast professional work from Amro and his team. My hot water tank went bad and within minutes of a phone call he came and quickly replaced it. They even disposed of the hot water tank. Out of all plumbers Ive contacted he was the only person who seemed serious and was not dodging the job.

Green Apple installed a wireless thermostat in a 2 family with one system in Edgewater. It was a pain in the neck for me as the unit was in one apartment and the other apartment had to tell their neighbour to move the heat up.Dean proposed a solution and advised me to take the time to monitor the temp check the temps in a couple of spots in the common area to figure out where to place the thermostat.He did a great job and at a fair price. Used many times before. Professional, friendly and fair prices. What more can you ask for? Will be our go to for any HVaC and Plumbing needs.

I recommend Green Apple Mechanical for plumbing. I am from Garfield. My water heater stopped working and started to leak. He came over right away over the weekend and checked a few things. He first tried to see if he can replace the heating element. Then upon further inspection he replaced the heater because of the hard water sediment at the bottom that was piled up in the last seven years. He replaced it with the same size within a day and waited to check if there were any leaks. I am very happy with the responsiveness and quality of work.

Dean proved to be a godsend during a recent cold snap involving a furnace breakdown on a Sunday. The first company that was able to respond provided a repair estimate that on its face seemed exorbitant, prompting us reluctantly, given the frigid circumstances and the pressing need to avoid further delay, to get a second estimate. We tried Green Apple, and Dean quickly arrived at an estimate that was only half as large as the other companys. After our grateful go-ahead, he executed the job with admirable dispatch and a pleasant professionalism throughout, answering all our questions with alacrity and volunteering some helpful advice regarding our furnace and air conditioning. Love these guys. They did my air conditioner one summer and it was hot out and they came here and fixed within a hour. And it wasn’t aggressively priced.Then they came during the winter freeze to help with my heater and diagnosed the problem as too much water and charged me the minimum service call. Again. The heating system did not properly heat the home. It was heartbreaking to spend over $7,000 for a heating system that did not work. Our small pets were freezing. It was an old house which presents challenges, but a professional should be able to handle this.Dean from Green Apple did an awesome job. He came to home quickly, gave a fair estimate (which was the same as the actual price we paid - so you can trust Green Apple is not scheming for every last dollar), and worked diligently along the way to ensure the system worked properly. Required emergency service for a furnace failure in sub-freezing temperatures. This company advertised 24-hour services and 1) picked up the call immediately (after 8 pm) 2) was able to respond quickly and 3) had our furnace repaired by 11 pm. The technician was courteous, efficient and made the additional effort to measure carbon monoxide levels near the unit and in the living area. We were very pleased with their services and will contact them first in the future. Pleasant, knowledgable and fairly priced.

The guys came to fix our Central AC and worked for hours into the evening. When they couldnt figure out what was wrong (turned out it was the way the thermostat was installed), they didnt charge! I really appreciated the effort and honesty.

Had a small, slow leak from a heating pipe that had corroded away a hole by leaning on a nail in the ceiling .. while the troubleshooting baffled the tech - he professionally did he job, found the issue and resolved it. We called them for two different situations--once on New Years Day and another time on the MLK holiday--and they were both out quickly the same day, walked us through everything, worked with us on a pretty major project, and were as inexpensive as any other group (we called multiple locations) while still being efficient and very high quality. Multiple times they went the extra mile and did things we needed for no additional cost even though they werent on our original contract. We really appreciated them.

We worked with them on a water heater replacement and a air conditioner repair/replacement - both at the end of July 2019.When our water heater broke, we called several places. They were the first to respond - Ahmad was able to come out to our house within an hour or so. He answered our questions, let us know why he knew it needed to be replaced (as opposed to repairing a link), and began working. He noted that our previous water heater had been installed incorrectly, and he re-welded a pipe so that the new water heater could be installed on a more level surface. While he was at our house, we asked if he could also install a new kitchen faucet that we had been meaning to replace. He was able to fix it in 20 minutes. For both repairs, he left the worksite clean.Im glad our water heater broke that day, because we learned they also do air conditioner repair. Dean was much more knowledgeable and provided us with more repair options than any other company we had contacted. We had been under the impression that both our air handler and condenser needed to be replaced, but he let us know that although the condenser needed to be replaced, only one part of the air handler - the coil - needed to be replaced. This saved us thousands of dollars. Dean also patiently answered our questions about other air conditioner options we were considering (e.g., whether to get a a unit with greater capacity). While we were waiting for parts to be available, they did a temporary fix of our old air conditioner so that we didnt melt during the heat wave. On the day of the repair, everything went smoothly - they kept me informed about progress and cleaned up after themselves.Ill definitely call Green Apple the next time I have a plumbing or HVAC issue!

These guys came two days in a row to look at my water heater and general heat. The day they came for the water heater, they looked at that and changed my tub spout as well as replaced my toilet seat. The water heater only needed a temperature change so I thought that was an expensive charge but considering they changed the spout immediately without having to mention previously on the phone for a decent price and the toilet seat for free, I am okay with it. The overall service was quick, and I got great advice from them, especially from the guy who looked at my heating the next day. He worked with me on how to improve overall circulation in my condo, how to work my thermostat, and he even changed my thermostat to a new one and moved it to a new better position. I learned alot of useful info on how to properly heat my home for a reasonable price. Overall, I received great quick service from these guys, and I will highly recommend to everyone.
