Gainesville Towing Service came to my rescue last Monday through a AAA request. My technician, Sean, was so professional and careful with my vehicle. It is decently high tech and needed some special settings in order to be towed, and he made sure everything was done correctly to keep my car safe both with loading and unloading (twice!). Communication was excellent and so was overall service. Sean went above and beyond to make sure my car got safely to its destination and kept me in the loop the entire time.I called yesterday to thank the manager for her excellent leadership as well since great employees stay that way because of great management. It was terrible. The tow truck driver told me he would be arriving in 15-20min. Well, 1 hour later and he still hasn’t arrived, I called him several times and he still hadn’t shown up. I called the lady who answers the phone and she told me it was my fault because their trucks don’t fit one ways and I didn’t tell her it was a one way. So I literally said why couldn’t someone have called AN HOUR AGO so we could figure out a new location point since I can literally walk my scooter anywhere. Anyways, they lack common sense and customer service etiquette. I basically blocked their number and called a different towing company. Side note: drivers name was Chase. If they send you Chase, good luck..

Every aspect of this transaction was perfect and professional , from the lady who took my call to Wallace who expertly transported my two very fragile antique Volkswagens .This was a very difficult job and his work and knowledge was very reassuring. Very bad experience. My Customer called AAA to have her AAA battery checked and replaced under warranty. Chase came out, hot, bothered, bad attitude. He said AAA doesnt do rv batteries. He cant warranty it. Its the rvs fault the battery went bad. This kid decided that the 2 month old battery, was her fault and she didnt deserve the warranty that came with the over priced battery. He then got loud, and gave us the finger as he pulled out. None of management or the owner returned our call about it. My customer and I both have canceled AAA and went with another company due to the experience with Gainesville towing. Still trying to understand why it was nesscary to cancel this senior citizens warranty on her rv she lives full time in. She was already down, way to kick her.

Called AAA and they sent Daniel. He was so kind and courteous. I had a badly punctured tire and had to be towed. I was already late for work, frustrated and not in the best of moods. Daniel had me smiling in minutes and made quick work of the whole thing.

Been sitting here for over 2 hrs waiting on the tow truck and they still haven’t gotten here. Tow truck guy told us that he had just got the call about picking up my mom’s car 30 mins before he got to us when my mom called around 2:40pm and requested a tow truck. On top of that we had babies in the car and one of them was not feeling good at all. I wasted over a half a tank of gas keeping my car on for my mom and the babies so they wouldn’t have to sit in the heat waiting on the tow truck to arrive. It was a 2016 blue Chevy Malibu

Got lost on the way to me but the man was very apologetic and took his time to explain my options and what was wrong. Id definitely use again.

If I could give zero stars I would. They took the call from AAA said 45 minute to an hour. My wife called back AAA and Gainesville towing said they were out of area so my wife and 70 year old dad are sitting on the side of i75. So I call Gainesville towing and asked if they tow cars off of i75 and he said we tow vehicles any where. He said he could tow our vehicle no problem I said well how come you did not take the call from AAA he said it was out of his area he stops at 390 mile marker and the was at mile marker 391. So, in this industry we are taught to help people. If I were paying cash he would of took the call. You should not pick and choose if you are doing motor clubs. I would not recommend this company to anyone

We were traveling & broke down. The starter on our truck lost a bolt & the truck wouldnt start. Gene from Gainesville Towing arrived, happy, friendly, and promised to get us back on the road. We had 3 dogs in 80 degree temperature. Gene went & got the part for us, after several attempts to get the right size & put the starter back on and got us on the road again. He made us feel safe & calmed my moms crying by putting her at ease. I cant say enough about the wonderful effort Gene put into us to ensure we would arrive safely at our destination. They were pleasant to me from the first time I called them to the last time I left their lot. They helped me remove her scooter and lift assembly from the vehicle without hesitation or asking. Their kindness and understanding of a terrible situation and willingness to provide help is a rare quality to find in most businesses these days. I highly recommend their services.

Semi truck broke down early in the morning. They showed up an hour later and towed us out. Driver knew what he was doing when he disconnected the drive line and hooked us up. Very professional.

Car was in a ditch and the previous towing company Billys towing told me they didnt feel comfortable getting my car out the ditch even after I signed the form stating they wouldnt be liable. They still didnt tow the car. So i called AAA and Gainesville towing came out and did a phenomenal job on towing my car with no damages. They were wonderful and had excellent customer service. This was a very positive experience even though it was on a night of freezing rain. I had a flat tire and the technician showed up in record time. He was very polite and efficient. He was concerned for my safety so he put the back tire on the front and the donut tire on the back since my car is front wheel drive. He told me that was the safer option. I called AAA for a tow from a parking garage. Gainesville towing did a spectacular job. They not only happily sent another tow truck to get into the garage but all with in less than an hour! All the drivers that arrived were courteous and punctual. When the vehicle arrived at the repair shop he even pointed out the dropbox for the keys. I have to say their service and patience in a stressful situation is top notch!

After calling three other towing companies that sounded very unprofessional over the phone and very unhelpful we contacted Gainesville Towing through AAA, they were so great and professional! The dispatcher was so nice and rushed a driver to us. The tow truck driver was the best!! He was so nice and very quick. Not only was the service great but the driver was in a nice clean uniform, nice clean truck and very professional! It can be scary to be stranded on the side of the road at night and not have a clue who will show up.....it was so nice to deal with this company! I would recommend them to anyone! Great job!! The driver even followed me to the next exit to make sure we were okay and wouldnt have any issues while fueling up!

Dangerous driver! Saw one of their drivers on 75 and he was going 80+. Weaving in and out of cars and passing on the right. Passed a semi on the right and cut another off causing him to go in the shoulder. No sense in that! I took his picture! Has Kirby on the arm. My brother is a Tractor Trailer wrecker driver and you watch out for your own and the people around you. Especially since a truck driver had just got killed this morning down the road and I waited in that traffic. This wrecker driver needs a sit down talk or two about safety on the road and public image. Im a professional driver. BOTH my parents are professional drivers still driving. There is no sense in this idiots actions.

This company is one of the fairest towing companies in town. I had to deal with them 2 times. Both times from dispatchers to drivers were all respectful, Courteous & very helpful. We truly needed a good towing in Gainesville.

I found myself in a spot of trouble this after noon and my vehicle wouldnt crank as I tried to leave the Gas station. I called them first because I had heard no negative reviews for their company by anyone I know. The dispatch woman was extremely kind and pleasant. My tow was there within 30-45 minutes from the call. VERY AFFORDABLE! Dusty my tow driver was also extremely nice! Really made a bad situation feel a little better by their A+ services! I will def be recommending them for anyone who asks and I will also be sure to use them if I have any other problems with a disabled vehicle!

In Gainesville for UF Preview managed to rupture two tires at 830 at night. This company got someone to me quickly. AJ carefully towed my car and got back to me when he had dropped it at Honda. Dispatcher was very nice on the phone. I am saving their number incase I ever have problems again... Thank you so much!

Ronnie with Gainesville Towing showed up within MINUTES of us getting off the phone with AAA. He quickly went to work and determined that the battery was dead, however, the alternator and the starter were fine. He swapped it out and even changed the damaged terminal. He also suggested we get the A/C checked out since the compressor kept going on and off. My daughter did not miss a minute of the Gators Homecoming game today with Gainesville Towings rapid response. We were very pleased with the service we received and with Ronnies friendliness. We plan to use them again if we are ever in need of help while in the area.

I had a bad experience with a driver he came to tow my vehicle and broke my gear shift trying to put it in neutral. So he towed it with no power in park and dragged the car in park all the way to my house. When he dropped the car off i smelled something burning i thought it was his truck but it was my tires burning from the way he towed it. Before he towed my car the gearshift was working and my tires were good and i have proof that they were. I have yet to be reimbursed yet from his mistake. Some people dont know what they are doing so be careful and check behind people and also i forgot to mention he put dents that were not there on the front of my car from his bad towing.

No, on Gainesville Towing. I called last night to schedule a pickup this morning between 7am and 8am due to early morning appointments. Shortly after 8am I called to verify they were on the way. They said they dont know nothing about it. I had an apoointment at 830am at my sons school that we missed because of it. The man I spoke to told me I could call back in and make the payment with them once the mileage was calculated. Driver shows up almost at 9am, decent timing. However, the driver asked me to make a payment on some app in his phone. No card reader, I did not feel comfortable doing that since I was told I could make the payment via phone call, and could not even identify the app. Then he gave me his cell to speak to a woman. She said either way she is doing the same thing he is doing, I said that is fine, but at least over the phone I know I am speaking with and making payment with the business itself. She was rude and proceeded to belittle me for not feeling comfortable entering my card on a cell phone not identifiable with their business. I said, either you want my business or not, she said tell him to drop the car, so I did. They put me in an even bigger bind because they dont care about making sure their customers are comfortable with secure payment. I asked to speak to a manager and the woman she was it.

I just had the most ridiculous experience with Gainesville Towing. Keep in mind, theyre called Gainesville TOWING: They showed up to my car, which wouldnt start up. They evaluated the situation and determined it was the alternator. They said it needed to be towed. But they cant actually tow my car. They need to call for a truck of theirs that is ACTUALLY a tow truck. Ridiculous.If you call AAA like I did, and need someone to come out, refuse Gainesville Towing. Thats what Im going to do.

Showed up and looked for any reason not to tow my truck, guess AAA is not paying enough or they get payed to show up. I think he was scared or had something better to do, like I had all day to sit and wait for three hours on my day off and not get towed.

I was on my way to drop my granddaughters off at a friends house just off of 29th Terrace. When I pulled onto 29th Terrace, a Gainesville Towing truck had just picked up a vehicle and the truch was blocking the road. The driver was talking with another man and had his head turned away from me. After a while, I waved and the man who was talking to the driver looked at me and just continued on with his conversation as if I wasnt even there. I was starting to get annoyed as all the driver had to do was back up just two feet and I would have been able to go past them but the driver just continued to talk to the man (I assume it was the customer). I then gently honked my horn to let the driver know I was there and he did turn his head and look directly at me. Rather than backing up, he just continued to talk with the customer. I had to then wait for him to finish their conversation which lasted another 30 seconds or more. How rude!! You know how if you treat someone badly they will tell, on the average 16 people about your bad experience. Well, Im they type of person that makes up for all those who dont tell anybody. I will let everyone know how rude and inconsiderate the drivers this company hire and I wouldnt trust them to haul away my trash.

Kevin is a very nice guy but did not solve our problem. My kia sephia was(still is) having issues with circulating electricity. For example, the car would turn off when it was sitting on a red light for too long. So me and my husband had our car checked at computa tune. Diagnostic tests revealed the alternator to be the culprit. We had it changed for a new one but after 3 months the problems started again. We took our car to another mechanic for a second opinion and were told that the alternator was the issue. So we took the car back to Kevin and told him that another mechanic informed us that the alternator was having issues. Kevin checked the car and said the problem was the battery. Then we went to advanced auto parts and had our battery changed. Unfortunately, changing the battery only solved the problem temporarily for 4-5 months. By this time the warranty for the alternator was expired. Diagnostic tests still reveal the alternator to be faulty.

Called for a tow on a Tuesday night at 8:00pm. I was told it would be about 45 minutes for a tow to assist. I called back at 9:00pm to see if they would be arriving soon. The guy seemed surprised my tow hadnt arrived yet and said he would call the driver and have him head my way. Almost 2 hours later I called back and cancelled. Ridiculous.
