Love Dollar General! Whenever I go to a city I dont normally visit, cause its to far, I use maps to find any that may be near where Im at, so all Gainesville Dollar Generals rock!! They have so much more, even better things, than my side of town. This one is chocked full of home goods, adult & children toys, clothes, fun items, produce. Just awesome

Customer service has improved and theyve been opening on time lately. Still a convenience we cant do without and am glad you guys are here!

I bought couple stuff and a big blue storage box that had listed price underneath the box as 6.50$. My bill was pretty high so i looked through receipt and it showed the price for the box 11.50$ . I went back and the lady in the checkout could not help me so i asked manager why the price is almost twice as much than the price showed. The lady didn’t seem to care she said someone must have put it there well i said the price is visibly right were this box is and i would like to purchase this product for the price shown. She was rude and told me that she will change the price there but she won’t give me the money back. I won’t be shopping there since the prices do mot match merchandise and are confusing to people. Stay away from that store.

A lot of empty shelves, stuff hard to find, but I will admit, the employees are very helpful and friendly

This is one of the more well stocked, and clean dollar stores around.

This place is a mess. The exterior grounds stay littered. Too many items are not marked or marked incorrectly. Signs that say 50% off are not honored. Overworked employees stay on restocking shelves and never clean. A mess!

The store was clean and organized and the associate was very pleasant. However...one of the things I went in to grab was an emergency pack of panties for my daughter only to find every back folded in half with not one, but TWO security tags. Okay, so they may have a shrinkage issue, but doing it that way ensured that every single pair had at least 2 (most likely more) holes from the tags in them. We left without buying any. Otherwise, a nice store.

Always closes whenever they want, vulgar language, terrible music playing. People out of uniform with no mask

Fast and economical in some ways.

Very slow check out service. One cashier trying to check out a long line of customers. She didnt call another cashier and had to hunt down the manager to clear a mistake. It took me 30 minutes to buy 4 cans of soda pop.

It will be my last time at this location, not pleasant with the unfriendly staff & dishonesty I know I gave cashier too much money & he denied it 😢The store was clean 👌

They didnt have everything I was looking for. But they did have something I needed. Had a good sale going on on Mountain Dew. I was trying to use the coupons from my phone the first time and it just did it automatically. Dont know if I did right or what.

Dollar General is great if you need household stuff in a hurry and dont want to get trapped in Wal-Mart. They have everything from BBQ supplies to Household stuff like sheets, glassware, movies etc. Limited supply choices but for the price its a great value for stuff like garbage bags and other things that we cant grow but need. The freezer section is good in a pinch. We wish they had more healthier choices but they have eggs, milk, etc; itll keep you fed.

I remodel the store in Waldo its now a Dollar general extra I changed a whole lot they got fresh vegetables. Now Im a lot more in the freezer just a good store now

The inventory is always low and the lines are always long. There needs to be a better form of communication between the management and employees about how to serve customers.

Went down hill in the last year or two. People begging by the entrances. Clutter. Convenient place to stop for a snack going to work.

Good place to scoop up laundry & cleaning supplies for us. However, the have a large variety of items from clothing to household goods if you are in need of those items as well.

Poor organization, always a mess in the store and one cashier. Prices are good but long lines.

I go in there every now and then to buy my lunches! Im very rarely welcomed when I go in and when I check out I hardly ever get a How are You or Have a good day when I leave!! The employees are sometimes rude as well. I am NOT a racist, but most of the employees and customers are black and when they check out the eemployees welcome them, talk to them and wish them a great day, but when I or any other white customer check out I/we dont get anything!!! Even a few of the white employees were rude, but not all!!

This particular DG is usally very busy, expect to wait in line. They used to carry cold 32oz gatorades in the cooler, was nice to get a cold one on them hot summer days.
