I used to come to this location regularly about 4 years ago and have missed it dearly. Out of all nail salons I have ever been to in Florida, Sakura Nail Spa has been my favorite. The regular pedicure is great, but the deluxe is worth it too! Michael gives great massages. My toes always look great and I feel relaxed when I leave!

Mind you,  Im pregnant & a little more biased as I am a licensed cosmetologist.I went in with powder french-dipped nails, asked for them to be soaked off & redone, and for an upgraded pedicure. my tech was an older lady with short, choppy hair.the pedicure was standard. she cut into the corners of my big toe too deep. the massage was rushed but she had good pressure. I requested the hot stone and paraffin upgrade. because she was rushing, she burnt the skin on my inner calf. I told her it was too hot and she just kept going.I understand there was a language barrier, but this was where I started to feel uneasy.I told her I wanted to keep my length and my natural nail, that I wanted French dip with solid glitter accent nails. she removed my prior set by prying them off with an acrylic tip after I specifically asked for them to be soaked off. I spoke up when she started cutting them and she reassured me she was just evening them outI told her to keep them long and she said she was going to make them have tips. I said no, I dont want false tips, I just want white tips. at this point another tech spoke up and said she would do sculpted tips like we had consulted. I said no, thats not what I asked for.long story short, my nails ended up flush with my nail bed, she filed into my nail bed to give them some semblance of a shape and she cut into my nail bed on 7 of my nails.when I went to pay I was just so upset with everything, I swiped my card & walked out.I sat in the car and called back up there and explained my issue and she said come back, well fix it. i told her no,  they were too short and she had compromised my nail bed. there were open cuts & they would have to grow out and heal first before I could undergo any other services. I really wanted a partial refund & she said come back in a week but not on the weekend. well FF a week later and Hurricane Elsa was here & she told me it had been too long and I needed a fill and she would only do 3 repairs of the 7 injured nails.we went back and forth and I asked if I could just get my money back, and she refused, so consumer beware.

Michael was great! My toes really needed some TLC after a camping trip, and he got rid of a lot of dead skin that was difficult to deal with. They used stones for the massage, and that was my first time. They were kind of hot on the bottom of my feet, but on my legs and top of feet it felt GREAT. Id go back. Only $27 for a basic pedicure.

Sooooooo worth the price. They offer a wide variety of services. In my humble opinion, they give the best pedicures. Some of the packages comes with a complimentary water, soda or glass of wine.

I got a full set within a week they are off and my finger is infected bad and the worker lady refused service because it’s was past 3 days and said I give no refund it says there

Not sure who the new lady who did my gel polish was but there is polish all over the skin which means it will peel quickly and trap water which creates fungus and infection. As you can see this does not look professional at all.

Would definitely recommend this nail salon! My mother and I went a week ago for a basic mani/pedi. We paid $40 each, and the basic still included a nice massage and lotion! Overall a great experience! Wonderful quality service! And our nails looked outstanding!! Michael and Julie were very courteous and accommodating, and we will definitely be going back!

This is the second time Ive been in for a gel manicure. They did a great job both times.

Worse experience ever, my daughter nails looks like she did them and trust to charge $65 for gel toes and hands ..... the mother in there ( Owner) is the worse with attitude and service.

This place is amazing!! I came in as they were closing and the owner called her son to come back to the salon to do my pedicure. Jason was amazing. He did an awesome job on my feet(its been awhile. Lol. ). Such a great nail technician and person. Please visit them!!

Natalie did a great job on my nails. They turned out perfect! Also seems to be relatively inexpensive compared to some other salons in the area, such as ones that have screwed up my nails more than once! I definitely know where to go now!

EDIT(4 years later): After years of coming here, I wont be returning. Service used to be wonderful, but has significantly gotten worse in the past year or so. Seems they are cutting corners on everything, and its not even been busy every time Ive gone. Theyve also become dishonest with $$ and tried to charge me for a service I paid for. Would not recommend at all.I had a great time at Sakura! Julie was a wonderful tech, very friendly! The place was very clean and my nails turned out very nice. Great prices for great services. Highly recommend!

Love this place and the services. They really take care of their customers. You dont have to wait a long period of time. They offer waxes, nail care and eyebrow shaping

This place does not even deserve 1 star. They are AWFUL!!! They dont even know how to do pink and white. Dont waste your money. I had to go to a better place and get it re-done the next week!

Got my manicure here and I got to say the results was just incredible! The nail tech did everything I ask of her and she did everything flawlessly. My nails really look beautiful by the time she was finish.

This is my favorite nail salon in Gainesville. The man that did my nails took his time and didnt rush through the job like other nail salons. My nails turned out GREAT, and Im so happy with the job. This is now the only salon I will be going to.

Will not ever go back. Came in asking for a full set and even showed a picture of how I wanted my nails to come out. The lady used a technique for French that I had never seen before, did not ask what color pink I wanted and used gel polish to do the white which wouldve cost extra. The entire time I expressed my concerns about how the pink acrylic was over the white tips and she assured me I would be pleased at the end or she would buy them. It got to a point where I asked her to stop and just take them off and she finished my nails and did not take them off.

Do not go here! If i could give zero stars i would. The woman who did my nails was so rude to me. She continuously told me it was “very hard for her” because i wanted my nails short..short as in to the end of my fingers which i always get and has never been an issue. The color she used was not what i chose and she lied to me and said they were the same. There is a huge gap between the tip and my actual nail where little particles of everything get stuck. I will not be returning.

My first time in Sakura Nail Spa and I LOVED it! Clean, my manicure was extremely detailed and very professional! Definitely my new spot! They are fabulous! Once go to Sakura Nail Spa, I never go anywhere else for my nails!

Will always be my nail spa! First off- it is hard to find places that will do just the gel and no mani to get the amazing price of $15! Secondly, of all the places Ive gotten gel done (including several places in Orlando that cost way more), Sakuras has lasted the longest BY FAR! And you know when youre washing your hair and you realize the backs of the gel have lifted up? THIS DOES NOT HAPPEN WITH THEM! My gel from Sakura has had to grow out almost completely before Im ready for a new color. I dont know how they do it but it must be a technique sensitive procedure and this places knows how to do it right! I also have never had a place be so quick to offer me a refreshing cold water bottle the second I sit down. I send all my girlfriends here.Some people might think that the staff is rude but they are actually very friendly- its just the language barrier that makes it harder to communicate resulting in someone thinking they are being curt and rude. Its a family business and they all work extremely hard (husband, wife, son, daughter in law) 7 days a week and I love being able to support their business while getting amazing, extremely long-lasting gel nails.

I just love how the technicians have a creative hand! And a delicate touch! Leaving me with such lovely skin and shape and Design I definitely would suggest!

I got a manicure and eyebrows waxed. The manicure was done by the woman that works there they looked ok that day. My eyebrows were awful. I asked her to just clean them up and to keep the same shape that I already had. When she finished I had one thin eyebrow and one thick. My face was also still very sticky from the left over wax still on my face. At that point i just decided to fix them myself when I got home since I did not trust her to fix them. Then the next day two of my nails had large air bubbles in the middle of the nail. I went back for her to fix it thinking she would just redo those two nails. All she did was re-coat them with the top coat even after multiple times telling her that that was not fixing the issue. I gave up trying to explain after that and now my nails look worse than before I went back.

The nail tech was so amazing! Everything she did was just fantastic! My nails came out looking amazing!!! Highly recommend coming here!

Their service is on top of everything. I got shellac manicure and French pedicure done here 2 weeks ago. And it still stays good without any chips or scratches. Love it

This shop did a terrible mani/pedi and eyebrow wax. When I left, my eyebrows were uneven and my mani/pedi was terrible. I was so dissatisfied and annoyed that I did not ask them to fix anything. I left knowing that I would never return.

This place is horrible!!!!!!!! I went to get a full set acrylic and I ran into my friend who was getting helped first. She was getting a simple gel overlay and it was seeping all over her cuticles and past her nail bed. They also were very short on staff and were just rushing to get customers done meaning they did a terrible job. Her nails werent even opaque even when using a dark royal blue gel color. I made an excuse to leave because I was not about to let them ruin my nails.

This place is so unprofessional. Do not go here for a normal manicure. No one was wearing a uniform or any kind of identifying garment and when we first walked up we had no idea who was an employee and who was a guest. Then, when we were served (by a girl who I am almost certain was in high school) she just waved us away and told us to pick our nail colors. After we sat down the high schooler worked on my friend and a guy worked on me. Halfway through my friends manicure, the girl just picked up her phone and literally went on twitter for about 10 minutes while my friend just sat waiting. THEN my guy got up and left and a random girl took over. It was chaotic, my friends nails looked so inconsistent and bad and it wasnt worth $14.

By far the best pedi in town!

Ive been to many different nail salons in the area before but this one is by far the best. The staffs that work here are the sweetest people and do a great job for reasonable price. My favorite service here is Deluxe Mani/Pedi because they do know what they are doing. Im always happy with the results they give me. The interior is well organized and clean with plenty of modern tools and comfortable pedi chairs. Needless to say, ill be back! :)

Friday, Sep 22/17, I spent over $120 on a full set of nails, a pedi and brow/lip wax. My pedi and wax were fine but my nails are terrible! They are thick, crooked, lumpy. The pics dont really do them justice. I told the older gentlemen that was doing my nails that they were crooked but he said he would fix w/the drill. His idea of fix is not mine. They are still bad. I had a busy bday weekend so I did not get back to them until today, Monday 25th. The lady that seems to run the place said I should of said something right away (which I did) that she could fix them but I would have to pay again. I will pay again to get them fixed but not here!!!

If I could give 0 stars I would. Went in for my best friends birthday we both got gel nail pedicure and manicure. I asked for pink and white. When the lady was finished it was just an original French no pink at all. Ok so since I didnt love it I decided to do a color for my fingers. She put the polish on so thick that it paddled in my nail beds. It was uneven and all over my fingers. Almost every single nail was sticking to my skin. I had to oxme home and fix it my self. Meanwhile I told her she did a bad job and didnt let her finish the manicure part. Now im paying its 135.00 she charged me full price for mine and my friends. Ok thats fine so I pay it all. Then I proceed to let her know what a bad job she did and still tiped her. She never once offered to fix my nails or anything. Mind you I go there all the time for my pedicures. Looks like somewhere else will be getting my money.

I am soooooooo unhappy with the service I got, I went in Thursday to get a pedi and a mani. my pedi was wonderful, no complaints there, but my mani... is horrible, the girl named Laura did my nails and I had to come back 3 times just for them to put a whole new nail on. They were popping off like press on!! If I wanted press on nails I would went to Walgreen or cvs for that😡. I waste my money and my time! I will not be returning anymore to this place I dont care how cheap the pedicures are!!!!
