Will never ever get anything else from them ever again in life. First off let’s just start off with the customer service is terrible. The store manager heus is unprofessional. July 26th rent a center sent a crew to my home for pick up, the driver knocked forcefully on my door and continued to get louder. Then they damaged my wall, two doors, wooden stairs. Contacted the store on 35th blvd and was talked to very unprofessional by the store manager and he hung up the phone while I was explaining the damages.sent pictures in also. Then went into the store the store manager wanted to argue with me and my fiancée. I’ve never seen furniture moved down wooden stairs with a medal dolly. Especially moving a dresser. My landlord will be doing his complaint. I’ve only been in my place four months these damages happened when furniture was picked up. I WILL NEVER SEND ANYONE TO THAT STORE EVER AGAIN!!!!!FYI this the reason I went and purchased furniture from American Frieght didn’t have to be harassed and didn’t have property damaged.and let the furniture get picked up. Very unsatisfied with how me and my fiancée was treated. Will be contacting my attorney today….

Unbelievable experience with this business. Weve been mislead and lied to on three separate occasions by the manager (Drew) in regards to RAC coming to pick up a mattress and frame that we rented. We paid cash for two months in advance until we could get our furniture here from Kentucky to Gainesville. Having expedited our move weve made 3 attempts both in store and by phone starting on 10-14-20 to set up an appointment. We finally set a pick up for 10-20-20 and made sure that someone was home all afternoon for a no call and no show. I waited all day the following day and yet another no call and no show. I gave my guy Drew yet another benefit of the doubt and called the store yet again on 10-22-20 and Drew gave me a family emergency story and Ive taken over the store and things are disorganized and Im trying to fix it saga and PROMISED me that they would be by yesterday afternoon within the next hour. So I get ready to set up my king bed and as time goes by a no call no show yet again. So, here it is Friday and the RAC queen mattress is still in my way. We deserve a full refund !!!! We rented a couch and recliner from Aarons under the same senario and they came and got it the same day we called...no questions asked. I fully endorse using Aarons for all of your rental needs. Ive never been lied to and mislead by a business like this before. I wont even mention that I overpaid and didnt address a refund for the weeks that the items were not used. Addendum: (10-26-20) After speaking with Jessica on Friday ,she was able to arrange the pickup of their mattress and frame today. I just walked out my door to disco er that in the process of literally dragging the mattress out on the floor the guys pulled our door decoration off the door and drug it 20 feet or so. The heavy duty door mat was dragged even further and both left lying on the sidewalk. Unbelievable ! ADDENDUM #2 It appears that the owner has deleted his response. Stay classy RAC Gainesville. ADDENDUM #3 As fate would have it weve received two calls from RAC after returning their mattress and frame, inquiring as to when we were going to pay our account that came due in November. The first call was a voicemail. The second, I spoke with Patrick and explained that the items had been returned a week prior tk his call. He seemed dismayed that it hadnt been entered into their system. Why am I not surprised?

Brought my Dad in to see about renting a recliner for the condo were renting while he recovers her in Gainesville from surgery at Shands. NOT ONE EMPLOYEE WAS WEARING A MASK. I said something and the manager informed its not mandatory so they dont. Needless to say - we left.

Went to the website for the butler plaza location. What caught my eye was the flashing $ 15.00 pays your first week on your order. They didnt have what I wanted to get but the website states the have it. The website also states same day delivery at no cost. I went into the store at butler plaza and they will not do the $15.00 for the first week at the store even though the website states they should. They dont have same day delivery. It would over a week out for delivery. As of today the website still shows the $15.00 for the first week.

The man Steven that works here is absolutely incredible. He really knows his stuff and the rest of the staff are nice and know what they are doing as well. Steven not only helped us pick out a bed for a friend but also got us the greatest deal possible. This man deserves a raise.

I was skeptical at first but right from the very first call I was pleasantly surprised...not only with the service on the phone, but the online site choosing the furniture I wanted and even more so at how fast and efficient they were at delivering the furniture and setting it up! I would HIGHLY recommend this office.My ONLY criticism is with the owners of this particular office not placing more emphasis on hiring more people to help. The managers and staff that WERE working were seriously overworked, yet they did their very best to accommodate everyone in a timely fashion.

The overall experience there was great the prices are great. I just wish I wouldn’t have to wait so late to get my things delivered it will be a whole new week and then the following week my next payment will be do and I haven’t gotten my items yet.

Have previously dealt with this company and was extremely unsatisfied with there service. Made it very clear several times we wanted no more telemarketing calls or advertisements. Despite that today they went into my mailbox and put a generic copy of a black Friday ad with there number handwritten on it. Furthermore believe its illegal to go into someones mailbox.

This Rent A Center is the best. I had surgery last month and I was out of work for a month. They worked with me until I returned back to work. Although we had a rocky start with everything, I must say the guys at RAC do everything in their power to help their customers. Came to my neibor house to get some furniture and broke my gate down the gm n crew and would not take responsible after my child 13 and two nibors seen them. They ask my baby to go in my yard to get the stuff then broke my gate. Call corporate never heard back but they called my neibor to find out what happened. Bad company they are full of it now i have to be outside with my pit next to a playground

My payments are due every other week,but the call me every week asking when my payments due,i ordered a bedroom set and they delivered the wrong frame and it took over a month to get the right frame,i had to refuse to pay my payment til they got my bedroom set right,then told me they would handle the late fee cause it was their fault but every month still try to charge me the late fees,i have spoke to several people who all claimed to be the manager and fix the problem,yet still having issues

I called on Monday and ask if I can make a payment the next day because I didnt have the money at the day of the payment. One of the employees said yes thats fine because you guys always make payments on time then today when I tried to pay my payment the same employee said that I had to pay two weeks. I told him why if he had said yesterday that it was fine that I can pay my payment today so with a rude attitude he told me that next time I have a late payment Im going to have to pay the two weeks because of late payment and I try to tell him then why did you tell me it was okay yesterday that I can pay on Tuesday! Anywho then he proceed on telling me to pay 110 today witch I dont understand why 110 as well if I always payed 99. Im guessing he told me to pay 110 because of a late fee but I dont understand why because before I have called and asked if it was okay if I can pay the next day and they always check my account and they tell me yeah its fine because you always up to your payments and they where nice about it but why is it that now he is making me pay a late fee if before I have never been charged a late fee. Yeah you might say come on its just a couple of bucks but Im writing this because I think it mess up that they tell me one thing the first day and then they change there mind the next day! Smh and what got me mad was that he insisted and told me that if Im late again I will have to pay two weeks. Like dont tell me something first and then change your mind the next day like keep your word. I just cant wait till I pay everything off and I will never ever go to Rent-A-Center and try to get something from the!!!!!!

Greatest place diet ever rented from managers always friendly and willing to help me out when I need it would recommend to anyone

Well I purchased a TV and couch from this place and everything was fine, nice people, called for payment so I never forgot, good experience until I paid it off and the manager said I can have anything in the store for one month free as a trial, well you also get a coupon for $50 off any item when you pay something off ($100 off if you use it that day), but apparently the coupon is just free time to try out an item. Not sure why the coupon says you get money off an item when theres no adjustment in price.. Anyways, I decide to try out a washer dryer setup, the delivery guys were not only 3.5 hours late delivering the item but they hooked it up wrong, ruining the dryer vent and flooding my laundry room (they didnt put the washers inside the hoses connected to the washer) so after the plumber I had to call told me the problem I called the store and they assured me they would compensate me for my troubles. Well for my compensation they took $30 off the washer/dryer setup. $30?? Had I not caught the flooding problem that night it would have completely flooded my house and they would be looking at a major lawsuit. But they brushed it off because I caught it and gave me a whopping $30 off an overpriced washer/dryer. Not very satisfied, probably wont be back.

Well prices are great the store staff use to be great to me but I had a home invasion tablet was stollen and now the. Store manager and his boss has me listed as a flight risk they are blaneing me cause my home was broke in to. Sad part is is I told them when it happened I called Them after I called GPD...
