Lesly does amazing work, but is not responsive to her clients. By not responsive, I mean that she sometimes will not respond at all.I used her for my daughter’s second I’m 2017 and was hoping to collaborate more with her. When I would email or text a question the months leading up to it, I felt like I was bothering her and was told it was too soon. She apologized and said that most clients just want her to do everything and not be involved. So I waited. It was just 2 weeks before my daughter’s party and I asked about the cookies. No response for several days. Wanting to send a few ideas, I contacted the baker. Lesly was upset I did so, explaining that she was on vacation in Mexico. She emailed me and said that she did not want to stress me out. That made sense to me, and she truly is sweet in person in person, so I blamed it on the fact hat email and texting lack tone. Also, at the time, she was transitioning from work to full time party planning so I blamed it on that. I was happy with the event, and planes to continue using her for ...the next decade at least!But it was the same for my daughter’s 3rd in 2018. Sometimes no response, and I often felt like I was bothering her even though I tried to limit my contact or questions.Recently, I asked for a quote for my son’s baptism and that came and went. It was a smaller event, so I figured maybe she wasn’t interested. But then I asked about his 1st birthday. I like to put deposit down early, as a way of saving..similar to a layaway plan. No response and it’s been a month.Now, I would think it was just me, except she was the same way to a coworker that I referred her to, leaving her to wonder the day before if she was even coming. It was my coworker who requested a contract and wanted to pay a deposit.I decided to come back here and change my original review because she is in the service industry and although she is reasonable, I feel that I should have better service when paying over a thousand dollars for a party. An honest review like this would have prompted me to go with someone else.
