Booked a drop in on line while in town for a conference. Showed I’m up for the 6am Nogi class, they apparently open around 5:30 to let people roll a little before class. Everything was super clean. Professors were welcoming and knowledgeable. Overall great experience.

Ive been training here for a few months now and I can honestly say this place amazing! Every instructor is passionate and a master of their craft. Chris Brennon commands a top notch gym and it shows in every student that trains here. Looking forward to many years of growing and learning here!

This place is not the cleanest.. no reception at the front desk so took me few minute to find someone to help. The instructor at the class I attended was not good at all and made me feel unwelcomed (no instruction or assistant during the class). A little overpriced for what I would expect.

I have been training since the 90’s and have watched Mr Brennan’s career as well as be his student and he is PHENOMENAL! Technique is unparalleled but so is the facility, cleanliness and organization of the school. Top notch

Been a student since 2013, some of the best instruction available anywhere, much less N. Texas. Instructors are friendly and knowledgeable, environment is non-hostile and upper belts let you work and train at your pace. Leave your ego at the door.

I have been training with Chris Brennan since he moved to Texas. He cares about the growth of his students and you can tell if you train at NG. He is a technical teacher who does not leave anything out. He will adapt a move depending of body so his student can be successful. The school is run fantastic with many opportunities to train in different disaplines (BJJ, wrestling, Muy Thai). Fantastic place for beginners as well as higher belts who have moved to the area. I promise you will improve.

Extremely relaxed but professional at the same time, great prices for the quality and quantity of classes highly recommended to anyone looking for a great gym.

Great atmosphere just moved in the area and hard to find good wrestling in Texas. Will definitely be going more in future and as son gets older I have found the place that will make him a champion.

I really liked the gym and enjoyed the Muay Thai class; however the price for a membership is quite expensive. If the facility decides to offer more package options (lower cost for month to month, 6 month agreement, student discount, etc.) I will definitely sign up.

My 5 yr old son has been going here for about 8 months and LOVES it. He gets great, practical instruction. Hes gaining confidence, ability to protect himself, and hes won medals in two tournaments now. #legit

Ive been going here a few month now and I can honestly say I love everything about this place. I mainly go Muy Thai and Brazilian jujitsu both Instructors Our former professional in MMA fighters and its great knowing Im learning from people who have actully used there martial art in combat instead of just practicing for a really long time. The absolute best part is what it does for my mental. I can be having the worst day of my life going there do with 2 hour workout in have no cares in the world afterwards. Worth every penny Ive put into it. I plan on being a member for a very long time.

Chris is super cool and humble and his kids Maddi, Luke and Tyler are phenomenal as well. Love training here when I get the chance.

I cannot recommend this gym highly enough. I’ve been training 4 years and have not been to a better gym. Great environment, nice people, the type of place you want to take someone when they’ve never been to a jiu jitsu or mma gym to impress them.

Great gym just way to expensive for a college kid. Also cant be bound to a 1 year contract. If it was month to month with student rates I would more than likely come back!All that being said, when I was there I learned a ton and even though its been a year or two I still remember some stuff because they drill over and over again. If you have the money I would say do it.

Fantastic gym with different times for jiu jitsu so you can be flexible in your training. Produces great teachers and students.

I just started at Next Generation a few months ago and have already gotten in significantly better shape and learned techniques that Im able to apply against resisting opponents. This is a great gym where youre really made to feel like family AND HAVE ACCESS 24 HOURS A DAY!

I love this place. I was a member here for a year and a half before I relocated due to a job opportunity. I have trained at a lot of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu gyms before, and this is by far the best experience. Everyone felt like family (still does), world class instruction, top notch facility, in a great part of North Dallas.Every time I am in Dallas I make sure to visit the family and train.

Chris Brennan is a legend in both the MMA and grappling community but more importantly one of the best instructors on the planet, he also has one of the best programs for kids I have seen.

My son has been attending NexGen MMA for several years. He loves the facility because it is run by true MMA fighters who have experience in the field. He loves the sport and feels that NextGen is the only true MMA gym in the area.

This is the second jiujitsu gym Ive had my 8 year old son in and this place is top notch! The kids and adult teams consistently wins tournaments and the classes are taught by world class instructors. (Think UFC, Pride and Olympic Gold medalist) As for the negative review, this is a business and you have to sign a contract. They give you enough free classes or pay as you go classes to know if you are up for this. This is NOT karate. So if your kids are not into the traditional sports, give this a try. It has changed my sons life for the better.

Tell Danny to learn some restraint, and tell the instructors to pay attention to people who get too carried away. We were supposed to do LIGHT SPARRING focusing on TECHNIQUE and instead this guy attempts to knock me out. I really wanted to retaliate with greater force, but decided not to escalate things. Everyone I talked to afterwards said that he does that to everyone. Apparently, the instructors are doing nothing about it. I had terrible jaw pain immediately afterwards and the next day. For a while, I had trouble closing my mouth and chewing. Someone needs to have a serious talk with him or kick him out of the gym.

You wont find a better gym. It becomes more like a family. I have been here since march of 2015 and I will never call another gym home. Classes for kids and adults. If you are looking to step up every aspect from jiujitsu, Muay Thai, wrestling, and boxing come check it out.

Way overpriced subscriptions Id rather pay my car payment thanks. Also I went for a trail class and this one instructor rubbed me off wrong like he acted like a douche and the rest of the class encouraged him.

A great environment to learn no-gi Jiu Jitsu from one of the best in the world Chris Brennan. High level instruction and one of the biggest schools in the DFW area. 30+ students per class and a large group of females as well, which makes it great for my wife and I to train together. If youre just looking to start Jiu Jitsu or have trained for years this a place you should come try out.

Best in DFW. Its way more then a Kick Boxing school? It is Mixed Martial Arts, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Submission Wrestling, Wrestling, Boxing, Kick Boxing, no contact kick boxing for fitness, boot camp for fitness, 24 hour access. All things fitness with world class trainers and coaches. Oh yeah, they have many programs for your kids too. I dont know the prices only what I pay and its worth every penny. Only way to find out is to drop in and talk to Chris. He looks mean but hes not hes a great guy and very approachable. Try BJJ It will change your life.

I had trained at another Jiu Jitsu gym and just never felt the connection. At Next Generation everyone is very welcoming and helpful. As a women it can be intimidating to come in to a MMA gym but I can say first hand that I have always felt like a teammate while training BJJ here. The instruction for both Muay Thai and Jiu jitsu is top notch and they are very thorough. The facility is large, clean, and has a little bit for everyone!Check it out and you wont be disappointed.

The price for this gym is way overpriced! Almost 200 monthly for an adult. Even for the area the price is above the norm.
