Elena and her husband are AMAZING!! My dress was previously altered by a different place and they didnt do well and made some holes in my dress. Elena was able to fix it!! Mrs.Elena did a wonderful job altering my prom dress in 2020 (even though my prom was cancelled due to the pandemic). Just in case I wanted to wear the dress in the future, I requested to keep the extra fabric that didn’t fit on me rather than cutting it off completely. Her alteration was incredible; she hid the extra fabric so well, and it looked as though there were no changes to the dress at all. The strapless dress fit me perfectly, and I felt comfortable moving around. Mrs.Elena and her husband were both very sweet! Thank you again!

I had my dress for several months before I went in for alterations so by then I was second guessing it. But once SE Bridal Alterations fitted the dress to my body, I felt so beautiful and fell in love with it all over again.And oh my goodness, they are sweetest people ever. I came in for three different appointments: the initial fitting, the fitting around the body, and then the hem/final fitting. I also had my veil taken up about a foot or so. Elena is very professional and organized and really knows what she is doing. She was able to make adjustments to the intricate lace details with ease. My dress was 2 sizes bigger than my figure, and It has a lot of flower laces and beads. I wasn’t sure how to make the dress smaller, but she altered and modified to what I want. I loved working with Elena. She is very precise with her work and gives you an honest opinion of the situation with the dress alterations. There was no hidden cost and if an alteration had to be made that was not originally addressed, she will let you know so you can make the decision since there is a financial implication.

Elena did a phenomenal job for a fair price. She was very kind, professional, and timely. My dress was not the easiest to work with due to the delicate sleeves and detailed lace at the bottom but she was able to make the sleeves and dress fit me perfectly, kept the details at the bottom of the dress when hemming it, and solved my missing button problem on the back of my dress by taking a button from one of my sleeves and evening both sleeves out. I highly recommend her.

When I got my wedding dress back from alteration I was not very happy with it and decided to look for a new seamstress 3 weeks before my wedding. Elena had great reviews and I was confident she was going to be able to fix my dress just by reading the reviews and I felt even more comfortable after my first visit. I had sleeves added to my dress and it didnt look blended and somehow Elena did her magic and made my dress look like as it was one piece. The inside skirt was not attached to the train and she attached it for me (made it easier to walk on the wedding day), also the old seamstress told me to lose some weight after she added the sleeves but Elena was able to fix the issue without letting me stress about losing weight just 3 weeks before my wedding. She was wonderful to work with and I was very happy I brought the dress to her.

I had my dress(brides), my sister (MOH) and my mom’s dress altered and we loved all three. My mom’s and sister’s were old prom dresses that were too long or too big but they both turned out seamless. My dress was shorted, sleeves adjusted, bustle added, and added a few inches around the waist and they were all done very well. Elena made sure to have me go see her in between every step to make sure she was on the right path and it all flowed together. Very much recommend her for her work and her great customer service. Her husband Solomon was just as helpful with appointment and statement questions.

Elena is incredible at what she does. She plays great attention to detail and did everything to make sure I was more than happy! My body is very curvy, so my dress had to be big enough to fit my hips, which meant a lot of material had to be removed from the midsection. Elena altered my dress so it would fit perfectly.

Elena is a very talented seamstress! First, I want to mention that she works out of her apartment, I was a little confused at first but she had such good reviews it did not bother me. But during COVID, others might not be comfortable with that. During my first appointment, I paid half the invoice. I took my dress home on the 3rd visit and paid the remaining balance. Elena is NOT cheap, I was actually extremely shocked by how much it cost BUT my dress was super detailed, with lace & beads. I did not go to any other alteration places for quotes so I cannot really compare her prices to anywhere else. I was really worried about finding the right place to take my dress, I bought it out of state so I did not do my alterations at the bridal boutique like most do. It is a scary thought thinking about someone cutting your dress & potentially ruining it. Especially when you have paid a pretty penny. I am so glad I found Elena, she did a wonderful job and kept my dress in perfect shape. Her husband helps her with the business and he was very kind as well. I would definitely recommend her!

I can’t not recommend SE alterations enough!! They went above and beyond my expectations—so friendly and I felt completely comfortable leaving my wedding dress with them. In addition, they even fixed a detail on my veil that I had failed to notice. Everyone commented on how well my dress was altered! I would highly recommend this alteration co! I drove three hours round trip just to have them do my wedding dress on the recommendation of the bridal boutique where I purchased my dress. It was exceptionally complicated and beaded and turned out perfect! She was very patient and made sure it fit perfectly!

I just picked up my dress today and I can’t wait to wear it for my wedding in March! My dress was originally too big and Elena made it fit perfectly. It was also extremely difficult to alter with all of the beading and details but Elena was able to actually remove and replace some of the details and even used an extra flower she removed to make a garter! Her and her husband are so professional, kind, and welcoming. My mom is also going to have her dress altered with Elena soon! Five star quality. We can’t say enough good things about them❤️

SE Bridal was fantastic to work with! They were very responsive and professional. My dress needed to be hemmed, the bust needed to be sewn together to add support, and I needed a metal hook and eye added to the top of the zipper. All of these things plus steaming were done quickly and my dress was perfect!

Elena did an absolutely amazing job. I’m only 5’2 and my dress had very detailed lace at the bottom, so the lace had to be moved up in the front while still keeping my train the same in the back. I couldn’t even see the difference or the transition when she finished. She also worked with my short time frame. I would definitely recommend!

New to the area so I went with google/yelp reviews to make my decision on which seamstress to go with and I was not disappointed in my decision. Elena listened to my concerns and made my vision come to life. Day of fitting I forgot my shoes and yet, she was even kind enough to make any changes w/o charge if I wanted or needed any. BUT OF COURSE, I did not need or want changes done to her initial work b/c it was PERFECT. I needed the dress to be taken in around the hips to create a more fitted look as well as hemming since the dress was long. Lastly, Elena suggested adding a loop to the dress since it does have a train to assist when walking; and yet another great suggestion. The loop is depicted one one of the photos. Moving forward, I have no desire to search for any other seamstress as SE BRIDAL is my ONLY TOP choice. She will not disappoint!

I was a little late booking my wedding dress alterations but that was not a problem, I was able to still get 3 fittings in and every time I didn’t think the dress could fit any better, but by my final fitting it was a whole new dress and I fell in love all over again. When I bought my wedding dress, I really liked it but was not quite happy with the top. I absolutely loved working with Elena and her husband Solomon . They are a very sweet family. I am having a very small ceremony for my wedding on April 26th and I needed to do some alterations for my dress because I lost weight. They agreed to accept me as a customer despite of the COVID-19 situation. It was a pleasure to work with Elena! I brought my wedding dress in the end of May and my wedding was in July. She was able to downsize the dress from size 6-8 to 2-4 in only few weeks!!! After all the alterations, the dress looked so great on me you couldn’t even tell that any alterations have been done. Elena is an alterations expert! I have had her alter two different bridesmaids dresses extremely last minute, and she is always willing to accommodate. If you need a rush alteration, there will be a small additional charge, but worth it! Both of my dresses turned out great and I was very pleased with the results. Elena is absolutely amazing! After visiting several other alteration/seamstress locations, and being told they could not work on such an intricate dress...we were so blessed to find Elena. She was able to take the dress that my daughter fell in love with...and alter down an entire size. She does quality work, is easy to work with, and has a wonderful family. Elena does an absolutely beautiful job on all her work! My daughter needed her homecoming dress altered and Elena was able to make her dress look beautiful even though the work was very intricate. Elena fit me in for an extremely last minute alteration on a custom dress I ordered online. I called at 7:30pm Thursday night and she said I could come over right away. **Hands down the best alterations in town** After researching numerous places online for my bridal gown alterations and skimming through one bad review after another, I FINALLY came across SE Bridal. The raving 5star reviews dont lie guys. Elena is phenomenal in her trade and her keen attention to detail is nothing short of impressive. She took my dress down an entire size in three short weeks (some vacations in between) and it looks exactly as it did when I bought it, only now it fits perfectly! She was quick to respond to all my questions (which was a lot) and offered up additional advice unrelated to my dress (accessories and shoes to match). Keep in mind, bridal alterations are not cheap because there is so much time and detail involved to alter your dress perfectly to fit your unique body. SE Bridal is reasonably priced in the market and worth every penny!

Elena with SE Bridal Alterations is the best!! My wedding was in May and she helped me in a crisis situation. My sister was flying to TX 2 days before the wedding. She had gained weight from health issues and her dress didn’t fit. She took it to 2 different alteration shops in MI and they said there was no way to let it out. I mentioned it to Elena a week before my wedding and she said to bring in the dress and she would see what she could do. Luckily, my sister shipped her dress to me ahead of time. My sister’s dress was not just a little snug, the zipper had been ripped from the fabric after trying to zip it up. The bust and waistline did not fit her at all and we were worried she wouldn’t be able to get in the dress at all in a week! Other professionals said there was absolutely no way to let out the dress, but Elena was able to let it out almost 2 inches!! She replaced the zipper, redid the boning in the torso of the dress and you could not tell the dress was ever altered!!! I was shocked at how much she was able to do and she did it in 2 days!!! Not only did the dress fit my sister perfectly, she was even able to wear a strapless bra, which wasn’t even an option before! Plus, Elena did all the work without even seeing my sister in the dress! I just gave her as much info as I could on the fit and she took it from there! I highly recommend her! Thanks again Elena, you saved my wedding!!

SE Bridal and Ladies Alterations is absolutely AMAZING! I originally only took a belt for my wedding dress because it was too big. Then I ended up taking my wedding dress because i lost weight and my dress was now too big. It was maybe a month before the wedding or a little less. She did things to my dress I didn’t know was even possible! She recommended different options that I didn’t even know about.My dress was already hemmed and altered. But I didn’t take it back to my previous alterations lady because I always felt rushed and like she didn’t care. But here at SE Bridal she takes her time and cares!!! And makes sure everything is perfect. I never felt rushed here. If you need anything fixed or done for alterations definitely go here!! You won’t regret it!! She’s reasonably priced but she’s worth every penny. I found her for my belt but I wish I took my wedding dress to her first too! And she was located an hour from me. Sometimes more. That’s how good she is!
