They do a great job here and provide accurate estimates of how long the wait will be. I rely on them mostly for oil changes and annual inspections. This visit was for a radiator flush and in the past Ive had them replace CV joints. Ive been taking the family cars here for over ten years. They are consistent and quick.

Mitch and his team are very professional and intelligent about most cars. When he recommends something I may need, he never pushes if I want to wait or not have it done. He is very honest and that’s so key for business like these as you never know when you end up with a snake as a mgr. thanks to all at main street.

Took my car in to the Main Street Kwik Kar for alignment after pulling to the left. After I left the shop, it was pulling to the right. Bryant refused to make it right saying too busy to fix the next day. He said he had 15 cars to work on. It is a 1st come first serve business who typically has 5 to 6 mechanics and runs through 40 cars a day. But...wanting me to call him the next day and see if he could work me in. After telling me I needed new front struts 2 mechanics 1 (Ford Certified), nothing wrong with my struts. Noise that they claim was struts was actually brakes. Which...were under warranty. Do not take your vehicle to this one on Main Street, go to Legacy or FM 423. Ive used the one on Legacy, they are awesome.

I have used this shop for years for everything on my Mercedes. I was paying $600 every 5 months at the dealership until I bounced around to a few different shops and landed at Kwik Kar Frisco on Main. I cannot speak to the rest of the franchise but it’s this one specifically that I go to because they literally tell me what my manual says it’s time to do, they don’t reach out to me to come in, they don’t try and sell me wipers, or flush my radiator, or even change the flux capacitor. (That’s actually never happened)I come here and the same girl takes my money, she knows the business and gives you a good estimate on the wait. The mechanics go over what they did and if they find something they point it out and don’t pressure me to buy.I don’t live in Frisco anymore and I now make the 40 min trip because I get literal anxiety to take my car anywhere else. True story. Also the bathroom is so so clean. You can tell a girl takes care of it.

This was a great shop to get your inspection done in. They were very busy when I went, so I understand the longer than normal wait time I experienced. They also give you an option to leave your car there if you need to do other things while the work is being done. Overall they did a great job for a great price.

Great service and honest people. Took my car there with a warning light on the dash signaling it’s low on oil. They ran leak test on the car and topped it off with oil for no charge!

Bryant and Mitchell, who run the shop, are as good as it gets. I have a ‘92 cutlass cruiser and they were knowledgeable about the quirks of the car, and they did great work on it in a pinch, when its alternator failed. When I had a question about the bill, they clearly talked me through costs and labor, and why certain things were problematic for them to handle. They did great work, and I’ll be back with our family’s other cars as things come up. Can’t recommend enough.

Not particularly good. Most of us have used similar locations to this like Valvoline, Jiffy Lube and other quick lube and service locations. The convenience and relative speed are necessary in our busy bustle world. We do give up a few things in the exchange sometimes, like a convenience store the snacks may cost a little more...and they may try to sneak some extra service hour time into repairs, which is what happened here. Busy location so they wont miss me but unfortunately I know for a fact they tried to add 47$ in service that were not there for routine light bulb change, sad.

My experience was excellent both days.All of the staff were friendly, competent, and helpful. I was in and out quickly both days. The waiting area was comfortable. The pricing was fair. No one tried to upsell me anything.Im a woman who isnt the best versed in cars or car care and I felt very comfortable here. When there was a concern with one of my vehicles they took the time to actually show me the problem, so I would understand, which I really appreciated!I would be comfortable coming to Kwik Kar of Frisco if one of my vehicles had an issue. I have no worries of being taken advantage of here.Bottom line- I highly recommend Kwik Kar of Frisco for anyone looking for a quick and fairly priced state inspection. I will definitely be going back to Kwik Kar of Frisco for my state inspections next year!

Excellent Customer Service. The day I went they were very busy. I explained to Brian all the fluids I wanted drained and filled. He took my number and called me back with a price list of everything. I called around and his prices were very comparable to others. I dropped the 2000 Jeep TJ off and they changed all the fluids. Outstanding customer service by Brian, the other mechanic and the lady at the front desk!!! I’ll definitely make this my mechanic here as we just moved to the area.

My vehicle needed an oil change, a purge valve replacement and new spark plugs. I walked out with a bill of $534.55. They charged $282 for just labor. Also they claim they called me when the vehicle was ready but I never received a call. Never bringing my vehicle back here again.

Strictly a drain & fill service but charges for Full Service. No way to know what oil they used; said it was Mobile 1 but receipt indicates Mobile Super which is a totally different oil of lower quality. Plain water for washer fluid. Very unprofessional, no safety checks, no torque wrench to properly torque the oil drain plug to manufacturers specifications. Do not reccomend.

The people working here seem knowledgeable about the basics of most cars and theyre fairly cheap. I had a specific budget and they did their best to make sure I stayed in it. I didnt get an oil change here just some work on my breaks.

I bring my work truck into this location for routine fluids and filter. Usually end up having Mitchel work on the vehicle. Always excellent.Straightforward and friendly service. Having been a service Manager for the motorcycle industry for 10 years. I know my way around a shop, and can tell who is full of it and who isn’t.Thanks for always making the visits excellent.

I was happy to pull in with no wait and get my oil changed and my 60000 mile service done in a quickly and efficiently manner. The prices were decent. Its only about a mile from my house which is great. Everybody was working there was friendly so overall it was a good experience.

Main Street (typically) location for multiple services over the last few years, always seem to be able to work with me on schedule. Quick and convenient. Oil changes, inspections, etc. I will continue to use them...Good service.

Took the car for oil change and inspection. They inspected and said I need new wiper blades, change the cabin filter and replace transmission fluids. Got the blades replaced. How come a new cabin filter installed nine months back need replacement. I doubt if they even checked it. Some of these items, just everyone including dealer centers want to make quick money. Had the car for a week and started noticing oil leaks on the floor. Took it back and asked them to check the leak as I suspect it might be from the oil filter drain nut. They just said it is power steering leak. Didnt accept their mistake and rectify it. Cheap b**. Stay away from them. All these auto shops want to charge for something not needed or break something else and ask force a repair.

This was my first visit. I went there for an inspection for my 2012 prius. They failed my car because they found a rip on my wiper blades. I never notice the rip because it never affected how well it clean the windshield. They asked me to replace them and I told them no because Im going to the do it myself. They went a head and charge me anyway for the inspection and gave me 10 days to return. I asked one of the employees on my way out and he said that state law if the rip is more than an 1 they would have to fail it. The longest rip was maybe 0.75. The rip is in groove between the blade and the body wiper. You really cant see it until you bend tip of the blade. I feel that they will find away to make additional sale and you better buy it if you want a sticker from them. I do not want to support such an establishment and I actually went somewhere else to get my sticker with the blade they failed me with. Yes I lost 25.50 on that deal but they lose a customer for life!

If I could Put 0 stars I would, I just had a simple oil Change here not even a couple months ago then my check engine light came on and after replacing so many parts and going to several mechanic shops thinking it was something that was wrong with my car , when Finally after taking to the Kwik Kar in Little Elm they said they drained out less than a quart of oil and that the previous mechanic that did an oil change either put very inexpensive oil that got burnt up or didnt even do an oil change at all. My father had the same issue with this specific Kwik Kar, They actually forgot to put the cap back on the oil and it drained out within hours from leaving this place. I wish they would focus more on learning to do a basic Oil change. Will definitely not recommend this place to anyone and I hope something gets addressed here, I was planning on buying another vehicle, but when everything was said and done It was just a problem caused by this Kwik Kar. As sad as it is to say make sure you check that the mechanics here actually did the proper job that you paid for. Lesson Learned.

As a woman, most car repair shops Ive been to usually try to rip me off, thinking that I dont know much about cars. But the guys at Kwik Kar were great to deal with. They were very honest, told me about what was necessary and what was optional on their maintenance service (which I actually knew). I highly recommend them.

Moves here from New York where the family business is auto body repair. I found it hard to find a place that wasnt looking to fix everything except the problem. Then I took it here for a simple inspection. They fixed my radiator and identified and fixed other issues that their competitors couldnt. I trust them and wont ever go anywhere else.

They did a bad job on changing the oil for BMW.. they did not change the oval ring along with filter which started to leak and I ended up 500$ in repairs.. never recommend anyone for BMW or other cars that need special attention..

New potential customer, came in yesterday because I needed front break pads. I took time off work to get there at 8am. Walked in and advised the guy that I had breaks I bought, she immediately stopped me and said we dont use other breaks. I said ok I still need pads, he interrupted me again and said Im not doing your breaks unless I put rotors on. I replied but you havent even looked at my breaks yet. He said Im not doing your breaks. I felt so awkward after that and I left. I will never go back again.

Not a pleasant experience had too wait extra long past the time they quoted me for an inspection. I noticed they did not have any cars in the bay and I was just sitting there waiting. I had to get back to work, so I asked for my keys back and I noticed they were all in the back outside hanging out. As I was driving off they came out to take care of the car that was there after me.

These guys are pretty honest! The other place Ive been to said that I needed to replace my cars alternator, but then Kwik Kar said it was just a drained battery. I didnt even have to buy a new battery! Thanks Kwik Kar!

If I could give zero star I would. We had an alignment done. The car could not be aligned as it did need a camber in the back. I installed new cambers and when we took the car back after 6 days they did charge us for alignment again. So find yourself a better place that will not suck your blood and steal your joy.

I regularly go to this Kwik Kar for all my repairs and service. The staff is friendly and fast. The cost is about the same as other repair centers, bu the customer service and speed are far better. I started going to Kwik Kar for only oil changes and inspections, but over the past 3 years they have done several repairs for me and I have been happy with all of them.

Just wasted an hour of hour of my time. Price quoted on the phone 2 days before for an oil change for the exact model/year of my car. Price quoted in the $70s after taxes etc. Had a coupon too. This morning in the lobby, owner confirmed approximate range of price for the synthetic, & possible extra quart needed on my model. And possibly more expensive oil filter. (And also said he matches other oil change prices in area. Nice guy.) All good - until the mechanic changed the price on me to $86. I explained the prior conversations on the phone & in lobby. He wasnt willing to correct the price. So I left and went to Valvoline near Main & Preston. Zero wait. Pulled up an online coupon at the suggestion of the cashier. Drove out for $72.27. Great service. Nice friendly staff. Diagnosed the solution to another ongoing car problem after getting wrong diagnosis from car dealer. (Do a google search on Valvoline coupons before you go.)

Today I had my oil and oil filter changed. Mac was very courteous and exuded competence as he answered all my questions, and as I watched him work through the office windows. He checked all the fluids, filled my windshield washer reservoir, and showed me why the brake fluid should be replaced. I am automotive knowledgeable and knew he was telling the truth. After giving him approval to flush the brake system and replace the fluid, I asked the price for replacing brake pads, whereupon he informed me that he had checked my brakes and they were still serviceable. Turning away profit because it is the right thing to do - what a novel concept! How could anyone not trust a business with that degree of integrity? My cars have certainly found a friend to help in time of need: Kwik Kar at 3550 Main St, in Frisco, Texas. Oh, and the cashier was courteous and kind - gave my war stories her full attention. This place really makes me feel important - and isnt that what we all need?

I have been using this shop for all my repairs and oil changes for a little over two years. Whenever they do your oil change they also suggest other repairs or services that you may need, at first I thought this was just the usual up selling scammy stuff, BUT I had a friend of mine who is a mechanic verify that the what they suggested NEEDED to be done, and EVERY time, they were right. They have earned my trust and loyalty as a customer.

My car had a weird sound coming from the front end, I took to these guys, and they discovered that the tie rod end was worn to the point that it could have failed at any minute. They got me back on the road, and I am so grateful that I am no longer in danger. Thank you!

After getting quotes from two other repair places in frisco we chose to move forward with Kwik Kar. To be honest, the repair took longer than they estimated, was supposed to be done by 5 pm but didnt get done until the next morning at 9. On the positive side, they charged MUCH less than the other two quotes and the staff was very friendly, they even gave me a discount due to the work not being done on time.

I went to get my cars state inspection done @8:15am today. They had a sign up saying an attendant will meet u @your car. 1 of the employees came out, no greeting to me, so I said GM. He didnt reply or smile, nothing! so I told him what i needed for my car. He said the wait time was 20 mins & to leave my keys & insurance card in the car. I did. 40 mins later, I noticed my car still parked, so I asked another employee, how much longer. He tells me, hell check. (I was outside because it was packed inside). Outside in august in TX! He comes back & said Im not even on the roster! So I got up and left. On my way out, I called because I thought a business feedback would be appreciated. gabby picked up &I told her what happened, she said I should hold for the mgr. I told the mgr what happened, & that no one apologized to me. He tells me that maybe I misunderstood because his team is trained to tell customers to come in& leave their keys at the desk. I then told him, I didnt misunderstand, their sign outside saying an attendant will meet you shortly, I told him I could point out the employee that told me to take a seat and leave my keys in the car. He said you can if you want to but that is not how I train my people no offers of sincere apologies! no offers to remedy the situation! So anyone could come in & park on their property & could steal anything without the employees even caring, or asking if you are being helped or not???? So BEWARE! !! They just lost a customer! And I was a repeat customer at that!

I visited this place to get the state inspection done. The manager/receptionist was nice and friendly. The inspection was a little time consuming than I expected. She was friendly and was willing to help me guide in the area as I am new to TX. She also advised me not to fold the VIN verification form so that the tax collectors office will not reject it.

You cant imagine how thankful I am to have found Kwik Kar Frisco! Almost every other car repair shop in my area ripped me off, and I had to keep on coming back for repairs due to an overheating problem. Then Kwik Kar repaired it and now my car has been running for 3 months now without a problem! Thank you Kwik Kar!

With such an older car, the wiring had a handful of problems due to some custom work that was done before hand, and that caused tail lights not to work and a handful of other issues.When they first looked for the electrical diagrams for this older car, they were at a loss. However, they asked me if I could afford to be patience as they wanted to solve this for me like a puzzle. Thankfully, the time of year allowed just that.The crew at Kwik Kar Auto Center of Frisco on Main Street spent close to 7 evenings after many had clocked out, and the shop doors were closed with a handful of guys staying late on December 24th working on the car!After a lot of diligence, creativity, and team work, my classic has the electrical side like a new car, which sounds minor on the surface, but naturally, the significantly enhances the safety, experience, and enjoyment of my soon to be classic.Thank you, Kwik Kar for your diligence and car for my car, and thereby, my familys & my safety!----[older review]This was easily the best experience Ive ever had when going through the necessary evil of car repair / maintenance.Erik, the main man who is a freaking saint (explanation to follow), called me shortly after I dropped off the car and clearly laid out everything that my car should have repaired or that should be on my radar to fix down the road. Everytime I visit here the repairs are hassle free. I drop my car off and they fix it, prices are pretty decent too.

I arrive at this location to get a state inspection around 547pm. This guy approach my car and i informed him i need a state inspection done. He said we close at 6pm. I said ok. He then stated the customer infront of me is the last customer. They was rude and to busy trying to leave. So i will not return...i will take my money else where

I had the worst experience at this location. I took my car for coolant sensor replacement and they broke my speedometer sensor which I did not notice until I drove out of their garage. When I went back to them, they claim that it is not their fault and a rodent chewed it up. Will never go back to them and I do not recommend to anyone.
