Enjoy going to BHSI. The Doctors and Therapists are professional, well informed and caring, The rooms are comfortable and relaxing. The front desk has completely changed with new and younger associates, trying to learn everything the position entails. Do miss those that have retired, they knew as soon as they seen you, what, where and why.

The receptionist greets you by barking your therapists name through a glass window that she refuses to ever open. Have a seat and spend anywhere from 5 to 15 minutes past your appointment time waiting to be seen only to be cut off 10 minutes early because they have 5 clocks in their office all set 15 minutes fast. Lack of patient respect and not helpful. I get more of a response from friends. All the therapist ever had to say is the Oh, how does that make you feel? line every time you say something. Impersonal. Constantly reading from the computer because she doesnt bother to remember you from one will to the next... Good luck.

This clinic absolutely forces appointments to refill medications. The response from the owner is obviously false. My step son has been coming here for years. His new Dr makes him come in and asks has anything changed which of course never has. He then asks him how is Walmart going which he was told long ago he lost that job years ago. He doesn’t remember anything about him except old information. I visited a diff BHSI and they agreed to 1 year visit for me. This clinic is trying to do quarterly. So my step son who is 20 has a bill through them which my wife has been paying something on every month. It’s 700 dollars and they didn’t like what my wife was paying. Mind you it’s not her bill so if she didn’t care about her son she could just say forget it and let it go to collections and never pay anything. He now is on MA so the medicine he needs is going to be paid for 100 percent but they still think it’s responsible to not refill it over this back bill. He doesn’t work he has issues and they now sent him to collections. Everyone needs to be paid but the bill is a product of them forcing us to bring him in. Plus he now has MA isnt doctors in this field there to help people. Instead they are holding 4 medications including anti depression medications so when he commits suicide over a 700 dollar bill that he physically can’t pay for which his mom is helping to try pay who’s responsible? MA is also paying current ones ? I left two messages about how it’s being handled and instead of saying the release form isn’t on file and so he needs to call or fill out one they inform me that’s why they have not returned the call. Stephanie is by far the most reasonable person I have dealt with she deserves a raise. As far as everyone else I could write an even bigger novel about all the bad experiences but I think I have added enough.

I have been going to this clinic since I was 15. Now 40, my daughter is in need. Shes 15. After a nasty divorce & a bankruptcy they are refusing to see her. It doesnt matter if i tried to explain to the billing rep, that the info was sent b4 & ITS public info, she continued to imply Im not truthful & I have to dig around & get her the same info again. News Flash: this is illegal. She didnt ask nicely. Respectfully. Nothing! Too bad. I really liked the therapists there. BUT ILL NEVER GO BACK. THANK YOU BILLING DEPT

This place drives me absolutely insane!! I was struggling to pay my sons balance forward for some time tho had a payment plan set in place for a small amount to be taken out monthly. I was threatened several times but Robin that she was going to deactivate my son if I didn’t pay in full even though I had explained I was doing the best I could with what I had and would pay in Feb. Feb came and I was paying mid month, when I called I found out she had already deactivated my sons account!!! I paid 100% in full and asked Traci on the phone to hold my credit card number on file to charge $75/month on when his next appt was. After a month and a half I have realized nothing has been pulled out so I called today... Robin NEVER answers the phone and you have to allow her 2 days to get back to you so I went to new patient registration like her VM states only to find out she CANCELLED MY SONS ACCOUNT AGAIN!!! I hav received NOTHING no phone calls, no mail, no emails, nothing telling me “hey pay up”!!!! 😡🤬 Robin should be paying for my therapy to deal with her!!

The Front Desk Staff have always been Prompt, Kind, Patient, Caring and Helpful!! Except for one counselor, who is no longer employed there, the Therapists and Doctors are dear, caring, knowledgable and good listeners. I have come here since 2007. Thank you, BHSI!

This place is a joke been dealing with them for atleast 6 months and every time I left their office feeling worse then when I came in. Very unorganized if your more then 5 mins late your counted as missing your apt. Then when you are on time they have you wait and start atleast 10-15 mins late. I’ve never experienced anything like this place and I’ve been through therapy my whole life. I just showed up for a therapy apt that I left work for early and they know my situation and call me into the office to tell me that she can’t see me because the time slots I would need are already filled isn’t that something to figure out before you accept an appointment and waste time and resources. I mean this is life and death stuff here. I just can’t belive the amount of unprofessionalism from this place. Do yourself a favor and STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!

The people at BHSI are nice. they are good people, but there policies are disgusting. They wont give you a refill on your meds unless you schedule an appointment. They care far more about $$$ than the welfare of their clients. And that I find absolutely disgusting. Not reccomended!

This place is awful. They deserve ZERO STARS. The front desk staff has the absolute WORST attitude and customer service I’ve ever seen. I have been going to BHSI off and on for SEVERAL years, and most recently for 2.5 years because my insurance had a limited number of providers. I just got a new job and will be seeing my new doctor and therapist in January (long wait 🙄) and couldn’t be happier to be DONE with BHSI. Wouldn’t you think BHSI would want to improve their relationship with their patients and address all of these terrible reviews...look on the other BHSI location reviews. Most all are bad and most of the reviews complain about the HORRIBLE office staff. Anyway, I called in a refill to my pharmacy on MONDAY. I was finally able to pick them up tonight after work and when I got home I noticed one of my prescriptions was missing. I called the pharmacy assuming they missed it. The pharmacist told me that they reached out to BHSI on Monday and they told her they would contact me directly because apparently I needed an appointment to get my Prozac refilled! I’m not even due for another appointment until January...I go every 3-4 months. NO ONE CONTACTED ME AND ITS FRIDAY AFTER END IF BUSINESS DAY! So now I have no medication and they dont open until Monday. I’m so livid. They have no after hour call center to contact a doctor on call. Their after hour answering service is to a third party crisis line. They can’t even call a patient to make sure they are able to stay on their meds. I mean, isn’t mental health care supposed to keep people from going off their meds? I just don’t understand how poorly this practice is run. It’s mind boggling. Wish me luck over the weekend and being FORCED to ABRUPTLY stop taking my anti-depressant. Mind you, I’m a NEW mother also dealing with postpartum depression and anxiety. Thank you BHSI for providing such STELLER service and care! Job well done!

TERRIBLE front desk staff in Fridley. I have never been to a mental healthcare facility where front desk people seem incapable of compassionate care. They are supposed to be ambassadors of their establishment, and frankly they have made me seek care elsewhere. Some serious training is needed for these people. RUDE RUDE RUDE.

We like the doctors however the office staff at both North Saint Paul and Fridley are really rude and unfriendly.
