This review is about multiple experiences with the same device:My first experience was great, dropping off my phone and having it fixed promptly. It was a screen replacement so simple enough. The price was reasonable, I think around $150 for a Pixel 4a.A few months later, the screen went black and started lifting from the frame. I brought the device in, and the screen was replaced again, all seemed well. Fast forward 2 days and the screen was lifting from a corner. I brought it back in and it was re-adhered. Fast forwards another 2 days and the same thing happens. I take it back to the shop and speak with a worker there. They take my phone back and come out saying “sorry, it’s bent and there’s nothing we can do”.Important points: I’m not sure if the bend was there originally as nothing was mentioned the previous the times I had been there, and no compensation was offered. I am now left with many gas miles accrued and a phone with a lifted screen.I am aware this could have been a simple oversight, but even still I cannot recommend this shop for the experience I had. I drove a cumulative 4 hours and still have a less than good condition device that I cannot even trade in due to the screen lifting.

My repair unit was in the shop for 3 weeks I had to call several times to get an answer on the phone neither of the phone numbers were answered. I finally got someone on the phone she could not give me an update so she said she would call me. No call, went to the store it was closed until further notice .. there was an email to locate the manager on the door . I was able to get the store hours for Saturday and went to get an update. For several weeks their website showed the parts needed to be ordered. Come to find out the parts order had been cancelled. The tech said he could not give me a time frame for the repair and I should take the unit elsewhere. I took the unit and went elsewhere for less cost. The communication was non-existent

They chipped my phone during the battery replacement but they would not tell me honestly, they told me that phone was already chipped before and the reason for me not to see it before because the screen protector was holding it. I looked carefully, the screen protector was sitting on display, quite distance from the frame, so what he told me was not right. Not only I lost the screen protector I got a hole on my side of the phone now. If he was honest with me that he chipped my phone perhaps I would accept that but he wasnt....from being happy to being dissatisfied.So I called the number on the reply and they actually answered me and escalated the issue to a manager. Few days later a manager called me and assured me that they would replace the chipped mid frame. I was hesitating to bring my phone back. After few days of pondering I decided to go back to have phone phone fixed. 4 hours later my phone was done repaired and it looked as good as before. Thank you to Jefferson the technician that repaired my phone and Sheree the front desk staff.So I would like to change the review from 1 star to 5 stars.

I went in the other day after my phone stopped working. Thought it was pointless to even try; because it had been unresponsive for a while; but decided to give it a shot. And she somehow fixed it and got the phone up and running again within an hour two. And Even fixed another phone that I couldnt get to work after that!! Really shocked me. I thought it was pointless. But now I have a 2 phones that are running just like new again. Does a Truly amazing job!! Highly recommend 😊🙌❤️

Went in with my Google Pixel 4XL for a common battery issue. My phone was dead and couldnt hold a charge so I was unable to properly factory reset it. They did that for me, fixed my phone ahead of the timeframe they gave me, AND took the time to restore my data for me while I was heading down to pick my phone up. They went above and beyond, and Im incredibly appreciative!

Service was good. They fixed my phone screen in about 1.5 hours. However the work they did was not good. The screen was very off center. The glue was coming off and you can lift the screen up. After a few weeks other corners of the screen are lifting too.

Called them for my iPhone issue as it was not getting charged as expected. They clearly communicated the action plan and when I visited them got the work done very quickly and phone is back to normal. I got an honest, quick and friendly service.

I dropped my Pixel3a at lunch and found uBreakiFix in the afternoon. I brought my phone to them and they were very professional and friendly as they examined the phone. In a little more than an hour they replaced the screen and had me up and running. The other places I looked at were more expensive and would have needed my phone for days as they ordered parts. I would highly recommend calling these folks for your next phone/tablet/laptop repair.

I had a really bad experience with this place. It was a nightmare that cost me around 400 dlls because it is run by a bunch of teenagers. i walked in with best faith, complied with every suggestion because they are supposed to be the experts. Walked in with a bad charging port, paid 1/2 upfront so the part could be ordered, went 5 days later, port got changed, but motherborard got broken while it was at the store and that is were the nightmare began. Long story short, nobody took responsibility, and I had to spend 350 dollars to buy a new phone on top of the 110 dollars I paid for the port that I replaced at this place. As a consumer I feel horrible and cheated and I feel like I was robbed

The customer service is great but I feel somewhat deceived regarding my screen repair on a Galaxy Note 20 Ultra. They claim to use authentic parts that Samsung uses yet its not even been a month since my screen got replaced and already there are a bunch of scratches on it from regular use. The original screen didnt scratch easily and was actually scratch free until I accidentally cracked it.

Its a great place but, i took my Nintendo witch to get a fix of the game cartirage. But the price was to much and they left me with a even more broken switch because now i have data curuption. pretty sad about this

Poor quality phone repair. Brought it in for a cracked screen, started having sensitivity issues literally 2 days after their warranty expired. Poor quality, poor warranty, poor company.

I brought my Pixel 3 XL in for a battery replacement because my battery just wasnt lasting as long as it used to. Batteries degrade over time, so this is expected. They quoted me $99 and it ended up being a little bit cheaper. They even finished in about half the time than they initially said it would take.My battery life is much better now and they did a great job replacing it. They were careful to take apart the phone and put it back together as I noticed no scratches or any indication that the phone was even taken apart. Excellent work!

Not great. Not sure who slipped. Made an appointment through Samsung premium care, closest store was an hour one way. Was sent to union city ubreakifix. They sent me to Freemont store. Freemont store said they dont do this type of repair (USB not charging). At least they gave me a number to call.

Good place I drove an hour to get here. The lady that helped me was named Sherry. Sorry if I spelled her name wrong. I came here because my phone was met with the black screen of death and force reset wasnt going to help. The wait time for my service was 2 hours. Possible its quicker than that. Sherry was very helpful and informative so be sure to ask her any questions you may have.

My mom accidentally dropped her phone on the street pavement and the screen shattered/cracked in different places and we needed a trustworthy place for repair.Found UbreakIFix through the Samsung website, looking for a reliable mobile repair shop for her Samsung S10+. With the amount of reviews they had, and being a trust site for Samsung themselves, I thought Id give it a shot. They did an AWESOME job with my moms phone. The screen is back to what it originally was when we first bought the phone.Definitely and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a trustworthy mobile repair place! They not only do mobile repairs but many other devices as well. These people are amazing!! My Google pixel rear camera had stopped working and they fix it, and not only that, even if I had agreed to pay, they didnt charge me because it was a minor fix when they opened the device. I will definitely go back for any of my tech repairs issues next time 😃

This company is FRAUD and cannot fix your iPhone screens. Please avoid them like plague. I made the mistake of supporting a SMB vs. getting my phone screen via apple. In less than 3 months the screen simply gave up on me and UBREAKIFIX Fremont, CA location refused to respect their own 90 day warranty and without even opening the phone asked me to shell out another $200 dollars. What CHEATS, please avoid them if you are an iPhone user and spend the extra $s to get your phone fixed through Apple. These businesses give SMBs a bad name and Fremont should get rid of these unprofessional and cheats.

I drove down an hour from SF, waited outside in line for over 45 min despite having an appointment, only to be told that they didnt have the necessary parts (they told me they did over the phone).To add to it, the tech (Ed) was super rude and unhelpful.I definitely DO NOT recommend going to this location!

Only 2 allowed in the lobby which was understandable but line moved 1 person inside about every 25 minutes. Will update review when I get a chance to return. My quoted price for my Pixels was fair.

I came from San Francisco, 40 min drive. I was waiting for 3 1/2 hours only to be told that they didnt have the right parts despite me specifying my device while setting up my appointment. Furthermore, my device was worse than when I had left it. Decided to go elsewhere, it was cheaper, quicker, and better customer service.Would def not recommend.

They say what they do, and do what they say. UBIF did a great job replacing my Pixel screen after an unfortunate drop on a concrete floor. They had a 2 hour turn-around time, and while it was a little spendy ($150 out the door), they did a fine job and my phone is like-new again. Hope to not return anytime soon, but if I need to, I will come back.

Note10+ stopped charging because it was too cold (75°+ outside) while I was on work assignment in Cali. UBREAKIFIX was listed as a authorized repair center and was quick to fix the phone when the parts came in. A+

Zero stars! I paid $300 to have my Samsung Galaxy S10 broken screen replaced. Within 2 weeks the screen protector began to lift off the glass in multiple areas. uBreakiFix says there is a 90 day warranty. When I brought it back to have the screen protector properly attached, I was told that is not covered by warranty. Clearly, they did not make sure the glass was perfectly clean before installing the screen protector. If their poor workmanship is not covered under warranty, why would you get any repair done here? I also doubt that the replacement screen protector meets the Samsung standards.Notice how the owner responds only to positive reviews and does not acknowledge any of the negative reviews. That is very revealing about the owner.

They broke my speaker, installed damaged screen, snd didn’t contact me for pick up. The tech didn’t record notes and they weren’t even sure my battery was replaced at all, so I had to wait while they figured that out. When I called about the damage their response was refund or replace, no concern.READ THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS AND NOTE THE CONSISTENCY OF POOR SERVICE. They fixed the screen perfectly but was honestly the worst service Ive ever received. When I dropped the phone off I was given one price that I signed for, and then told when I came to pick up it was actually double that. The wait is terrible and the staff are fumbling. Would not recommend.

I do not recommend this place and here is why:This is the closest location to me (40 miles!) where I can get a replacement battery for my Pixel phone, so I scheduled an appointment for their Sunday opening hour (noon) and received a confirmation email with the estimate of $79 plus tax. There were 3 walk-in customers in front of me. Appointment did not matter, I had to wait in line behind the walk-ins. At 12:30, I finally was at the counter. I was told that it takes 3-4 hours and it would cost $99 plus tax - thats 25% more. I was disappointed because someone who had the same operation done at the Santa Clara location told me it took under 2 hours. Where do you go in the empty mall for 3-4 hours? I asked if it could be expedited since my home was an hour drive away. The woman at the counter explained that it takes 4 hours. They charge $50 for 1 hour of labor, but it takes 4 hours? I was back by 4:30 and was told that my device was not ready. It took them until 5:15 before my phone was ready. There were several people ahead of me picking up their same day orders. Guess what, none of those people was in front of me at noon. They clearly got there after me but were taken care of before me. I suspect that my phone was not even touched until 4:30 when I got to the counter. The woman at the counter (Sheree) was slow and unhelpful.There are simple things they could do instead of blaming their sloppy service on COVID-19:1. Confirmation email should warn that service is slow, so the customer would figure out how to find a public restroom in the mall where everything is closed and maybe bring their own food for the 5 hours of waiting.2. Instead of giving the customer an unpleasant surprise of 25% price increase, just tell them to inquire at the store about a cost.3. Do not lie to the customer that a 1 hour labor to replace the battery takes 3-4 hours when in fact it takes almost 5 hours.4. Just stop the fiction of appointment-based service - it only sets false expectations that you would get any advantage by scheduling it in advance.

I was very impressed by the friendliness of the staff. They explained the process and timeline to expect. The work was completed in the time quoted. I am very please with the results. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend anyone to them for a repair or diagnosis. $250 and 2.5 hours to fix my galaxy screen. No complaints, except the cashier let people cut in front of me and several others waiting in line.They were picking up their device, like myself.

Avoid this store at all cost!!! They’re unethical and cheating!!! They sold me a fake and unauthorized Apple iphone battery but claimed it was an OEM battery (see picture). i bought it yesterday but it drained very quickly. I went to store today, and they still claimed it was an OEM battery after i demonstrated the battery consumption level and labels!

Had to go back 4 times to replace a broken screen for an iPhone 8 Plus, which got replaced with a screen of lower quality, causing lagging on swiping movements and pixelized pictures on the background; visit after visit, replacement after replacement the result was not satisfactory and i ended up getting my old cracked screen placed back.Update - last visit, I got a non cracked screen placed with lagging issues, with full amount refunded. Took it to the manufacturer store, to have a OEM screen placed. Manufacturer returned the device and told that a replacement wouldnt be possible at this point, due to calibration issues with the device. So pretty much, lost an iphone.

This is a long overdue review! I took my old Samsung Galaxy 6 in because a cleaning product got onto my screen. The liquid caused the phone to no longer turn on or work. I was devastated with priceless memories stored on my text messages. (Verizon will only back up 90 days of text messages) Syed was able to retrieve all of my messages and transfer it to my new phone. He was extremely responsive and understanding to all of my emails. UBreaki Fix has a stellar manager!!! Do not hesitate to take your broken phone in!!

Slow (4 hours to deal with the screen replacement).And also very unprofessional. Came in to replace the dead screen and after 4 hours they claimed that they tried three screens and it did not work - something is wrong with the motherboard! Lol. I knew that the motherboard is okay and they just needed to charge my phone (it was dead-dead). Anyways, my hint was ignored. I ended up picking up my phone two days later and bringing it to a different repair shop where the screen was replaced quickly and with no problem and questions. Magically, the motherboard worked! 😅

One staff member with 8 people in line on Saturday at 10 am.Update: Called asking about the appointment screw up: We no longer take appointments. Then dont offer appointments online. Go elsewhere to get your devises fixed.

The Fremont location is exceptional. The staff were knowledgeable. I made an appointment and drove all the way from San Francisco and they were very helpful. They set aside the part they thought would fix my cell phone, and it did. They took less time than they originally estimated. I give this place five stars plus. Thank you.

Its a scam. Around August 17th they pushed an Asurion insurance plan on me and told me it would be cheaper for me to have my game system repaired through an insurance claim than to pay for it myself... Ultimately I lost $50 and about 3 hours of my time waiting in line and months arguing with Asurion about my claim. 0 stars. To this day I still havent gotten my game console back.

Id never gone to get any electronics repaired before so I wasnt sure what to expect, but my visit here was surprisingly pleasant. The workers were all so friendly and finished my phone repair fairly quickly. The bottom of the receipt also provides a way to track the status of your order. I hope not to need their services again, but would certainly head back here next time

Cracked my note 9 super badly. did a walk-in to get it fixed by them. they were able to do the screen replacement in about 2-3 hours, and pretty much got the phone good as new. super happy with the results. will come to them again if my phone breaks, which hopefully wont happen again.

I sent my ps4 for repairs because my hdmi port was broken. They broke my hdmi port even more and were going to charge me more than the ps4 itself to fix it. this place is a scam.

As much as I get it....I went there for a cleaning of my phones bottom and top speakers as well as the mic. But they apparently cant do any of that unless I factory reset my phone which is ridiculous. I went home with a janky phone and a wasted visit. The people there were nice it just sucks to be in that position

Very unprofessional - I will not try to use them again. I made an appointment to get my Samsung cracked screen replaced. I called in advance and told them my exact phone model = Samsung S10 LITE international with 6.7 screen. they told me they need to order the part but refused to order it unless I physically came to the store. I explained that would be a 1 hour roundtrip drive for me and i would need to do it twice as the first time they would only order it. They said I must physically come to the store so they can get the information off the phone. I asked what they need - they stated they needed the IMEI number. Which of course I told them I can give them over the phone. They said no matter what I must come to the store first. I asked if even during COVID I need to go to the store, could they not just special order the screen for the S10 LITE first and I come when they have the screen. They said no - i must come to the store. I said I didnt want to go there if they couldnt order the screen and asked them to confirm again that they could - they confirmed they definitely could order it but would not do so until I came to the store. So I drove 35 minutes to their store, waited in line for 15 minutes. Then the guy behind the counter said he needed to check with his boss - was gone for 5 minutes behind a wall - and came back out and told me that because the S10 LITE is an international phone, they refuse to do repairs on it. I asked why this was not told to me on the phone when I asked multiple times to have them try to order before I came and specifically explained it would be over an hour roundtrip for me. He just replied, You need to call Samsung. No apology for wasting my time uselessly which could have been easily checked over the phone and saved everyone time. Very unprofessional behavior. I will not use them again.

Fixed my dads Pixel 3a fast, took just over an hour. Easy to make appointments online. Lower cost than some other places we got quotes from.

They did a great job fixing my Pixel 3, and they even installed a 3rd party screen protector that I bought, for free. The prices seemed a bit high, but I have insurance so, whatever... I definitely recommend them.

The costumer service is poor. There is no line. The agents dont even try to keep track of who came in first.I hope their work is better than their service.If thats not bad enough, theyve resorted to bribing for reviews. Replaced my pixel 2xl screen, one of the speakers stopped working afterwards. Company not willing to offer an appointment or guarantee of priority to correct the issue.Edit: After bringing my phone in to be fixed after they broke the speaker, they proceed to break the motherboard and just like that I had no phone. They offered me a pixel 1 loaner (which didnt have an e-sim), so I had to go buy a sim card just to have a functioning phone. A month later, and a dozen calls, emails later they finally agreed to replace the phone...Absolutely horrendous experience in which not only did they never fix the problem, they destroyed my phone requiring dozens of hours to get a new phone up and running

Place is awesome. I broke my phone screen the night before a vacation. Went in early the next day. Tyler helped me. Tyler was fantastic - he 100% understood that I was in a rush and NEEDED my phone fixed immediately. And then 2.5 hours later (earlier than quoted), he delivered and I was able to make my flight! Highly recommend using these guys.

I had a great experience with both Jesse and Micheal. When I went in they told it me would be about 2 hrs but replaced the screen a lot faster than that. Jesse inspected and mentioned to me every scratch on my phone and made sure to input it the notes. Micheal was friendly and curious when I went to pick it up. I even had the liquid screen protector placed on the phone. I would recommend this place to get your phone fixed.

I called in advance and asked if they can replace the HDMI port on an Xbox One. They said yes. I drop off the Xbox. The next day they tell me that the problem is with the motherboard, and they try to sell this $25/month service plan. I ask how much itll cost to replace the motherboard. More than you paid for the Xbox is the response. Whats the quote for parts and labor for replacing the motherboard, I ask. She again tries to sell the $25/month membership thing. I ask again for a quote, and I dont get a straight answer.If youre looking for a place to repair your device, Id keep looking. My impression is that this company is more about selling their extended service plan.

Got camera change for phone. Very professional crew. Knows what they are talking. I have couple of other phones to fix. I will be bring them here. Prices are compatible to any other place. Got their recommendation from google as authorized repair shop. So it gave me leave of mind. Overall very satisfied.

I went in for a battery replacement and when I got my phone back I discovered the SD card was missing. I also had to go back several days later because the battery replacement had not been done properly and my phone became completely unresponsive. When I picked up my phone the second time I found that they had (very noticeably) cracked my screen protector(which they made no mention of.) I was also asked for my Apple ID at the time of the first repair which the person who had helped me the second time told me was not necessary at all. Very confused and uncomfortable with my experience here.

I called to make sure that they had a replacement battery for my phone, they did, I headed right over, they attempted to replace battery. I received a phone call saying that the battery that I was told was ready for me had already been used. I returned to the shop and asked what the provlem was, and they said it was a mistake and to disregard what the person had told me. I waited for 4 hours in the parking lot, and decided to wait in line in front of the store again. Finally got inside the store for them to tell me that the battery they used to replace my original was Dead On Arrival. I was then told that it would take a little over a week for the shipment of that battery to be delivered. I waited a little over a week and gave them a call, they told me that the batteries had not come yet, and to call back in the afternoon by that next Tuesday. I called them that Tuesday afternoon and they told me the battery was there, I rushed over, because I live over an hour away from the nearest store, to drop off the phone for a second time. I asked if it would be ready by the same day, and explained my situation to them. They told me that it was impossible, and tild me the following day sometime in the morning that my battery would be replaced and the phone would be ready, and that they would give me a call when it is ready to be picked up. I waited the following day with no phone call received. Then the next day came around and still no phone call, so I called for them to tell me that my phone battery wasnt in stock, and I explained my situation, again, to the representative, and he said yeah, the phone should be ready in a couple of hours. Received a call back within an hour and a half saying that my phone is finally ready. So all in all my phone was fixed, but there was ultimately a ton of confusion, and basically no order and very little cooperation. That is why i am giving my experience a 2/5

Made an appointment on their website for the next morning. Frank and Marco were so helpful and friendly. I only had to wait an hour and a half and they fixed my Google Pixel 3a XL screen. I break phones constantly, so I will be back!
