I went here after reading the reviews. Its a bad experience. The one who sits as the owner probably understands nothing. Someone from outside fixes the computer. Doesnt give any invoice / receipt. Just stick the sticker on the machine. If you go back under warranty, he leaves the machine for 2-2 weeks without doing anything. But unless youre a new customer, he doesnt respond immediately. Once the money is received, his speech and behavior change. This guy is very rude. Despite spending around $400 on both my laptops, both my laptops are not working. He put an unlicensed OS in one of my laptops. Computer screens are brought from scrap and kept in the shop. Don’t waste your money and precious time here, go to professionals.

Weve been customers for a long time. The best service hands down. We tell all our family and friends about the great service here. We wont take our computers or buy a computer any where else. They definitely deliver great service here!

I was told many things and Brian didnt deliver on any of it. I will not be seeking their services in the future. Most of the issues I have with this business could of been solved with a phone call, which he didnt do once in the week he had my laptop. I sent my MSI laptop to get fixed 8 weeks ago. I visited the store multiple times a week to only find my laptop was still in pieces. I would try to call in advance but my messages almost always went to voicemail and I never got a call back. I would be forced to go to the store only to find out the laptop still wasnt ready. After 8 weeks, I finally told the owner to keep the laptop. In exchange I got $150 dollars and a free low quality monitor.This store has good reviews. There are lots of customers when I go to the store and Ive seen the same people multiple times. Maybe I just got unlucky and the laptop wasnt fixable.

I have been using computer world Service for quite some time pretty much ever since we established our Fremont location and they have been servicing our computers for as long as I remember mostly we are using a Mac due to stability and your ability and they came across always on time and got the job done without me being worried about our dentist software Which is pretty complicated to network sometimes in some cases demand Brian himself is showing up F has technicians cannot resolve the problem we’re pretty happy and all my other doctors pretty much useless facility for their repairs.I recommend Computerworld strongly!!!

My brother and myself have been going to computer World for quite some time for all repairs and I didn’t know they are fixing also MacBook screen so we got our MacBook Air 81466 which was a screen damage repaired here for unbelievable price we called Apple exclamation wait time was three weeks and The price is crazy high and we need it because the school starts on Wednesday and my daughter needed a laptop so I contacted my brother Ryan and he gave me a very fat face sorry for the screen and got it done in less than 20 minutesWe are very happy that they are in our neighborhood because our business and home here in Fremont and they are very helpful in time of need.

My HP laptop has stopped responding when I reset the PC. This is because HDD is sluggish and old so they have replaced a 512 SSD (highly recommend drive). The service is good to repair within 24 hours. I might come by soon.

My laptop screen had broken from the left side hinge, and I needed it fixed quickly. I visited computer world and they did a wonderful job at fixing my laptop.They were efficient and professional. Took 4 months to get my laptop back. With scratches. Didnt get the charger back. No repair possible but that is not the issue. They lost the outside torx screws so replaced with cheap ones. Also now the screen hs a weird squeak. Bad reassembly.

Had my pc fixed in May 2020. Was dealing with a unique issue. Told me my SSD had failed and I needed a replacement. I got a replacement one and the cost was price matched to amazon. The guy also replaced my thermal paste and transferred all of my old ssd files onto my new one. Computer was working and my old hard drive, ram, and graphics card was there but it it still felt off. I also left my old ssd there as I was told it was broken.I was charged $300+ for an ssd memory transfer/ssd replacement, and thermal paste reapplication. I felt overcharged but went through with it as I didn’t know what else to do.My computer works but has issues again so I will be resetting it instead of bringing it back

I took my laptop in on November 30th and still haven’t gotten it back. Every time I call Brian he says, don’t worry I’ll call you when it’s ready. No call back, no response to my text message, nothing. I have called for an update at least four times now since Nov 30th.Today (January 4th) I decided to go in person (around 10am) and as I’m driving on Fremont blvd I see that the front door is open. After I park in the lot behind the building I walk to the front door and it’s closed and locked.Will update this review if the way he conducts business changes, but right now I would not recommend you come here and put yourself in a waiting game with Brian (5+ weeks now)

Cant understand him but I think he called Indians dusty in front of his own Indian customer who just paid him money. I was there to pick up my laptop which he worked on and when I asked him to take a look at the laptop again a couple months later when the issue came back, he did not respond

Team seemed to be extremely overwhelmed and swamped with work. Took over three weeks to get my sons PC repaired, we were satisfied with results.

I was told this place life saver I didnt believe until I visit and I always pass by this for many years never needed to fix anything until now I started working from home of Course we face issues and there is no idea department support and we have to reach our local business for help to make life story short I spilled a large glass of orange juice on my work Mac and first I thought I might lose my job so I tried to try computer world before calling my company and luckily they were apple to diagnose while I was waiting and provided estimate and after my approval and talking to my wife I decided to proceed with repair and by end the same day my Mac as back in working condition and exceptionalities we had to wait until get keyboard coz it was sticky due to liquid damage. If I could leave 10 stars I would! I came in looking for a reliable but cheap’ish laptop for school. I don’t know much about computers, and Brian helped me out with a used Lenovo that is perfect for my needs. The laptop even came with anti-virus and a one year warranty. I liked it so much that I came back a couple of days later to buy another for my niece. Brian is the man!

The manager is an utter charlaton. I gave him my laptop for a simple screen repair and when I got it, I saw that my hard disk was gone. It had all my personal information an important files. Visit his shop at your own risk.

Hp dv 7 motherboard fan cpu all replaced it took some time but at the end my laptop is working fine . They lost my actual laptop battery and replaced with some other battery.

Since we are all in Quarantine and my work is from home I have a MacBook Pro 2016 that was a water damage and my camera was not working and I never thought would use it again now I am working from home and I need It the zoom software for video conferencing so I wanted to get my computer down and Laptop stores and apples are close so I want to stop here at computer World and try their service this is my first time I’m fixing a computer and we always have a IT department to take care of everything but my experience here was amazing and phenomenal Brian diagnosed Mac While I was waiting Effects to logic board due to liquid damage I was thinking the camera on the screen needs to be replaced since I’m not technically that was my guess I called my company to get approval for the repair and after I OK to estimate everything was done within 45 minutes and I didn’t have to deal with external camera very bad quality my MacBook camera is a lot better and more convenient especially right now that I’m using Camera for meeting one of my customers and office people. Very efficient and professional service

Brian was great in evaluating the problem with screen and keyboard for my Lenovo laptop. He did an excellent work in fixing touch screen and helped me order the keyboard which I broke spilling Clorox water. He didnt even charge for fixing my keyboard and reinstalled my windows for free. Will definitely recommend, he is great with providing right advice.

Very honest place I bought my computer at Costco and I didn’t know that I have a second year warranty and Ryan told me that you don’t need to pay for the repair contact Costco when you buy a laptop with Citibank Costco warranty second year starts and doesn’t cost anything to repair I’m glad we have Still Honest businesses.

Based off the reviews I thought this would be a home run for my laptop that needed repairs. I had my bf take the laptop in for service and over the course of a month and a half the laptop had only had the broken screen removed. Nothing else was done. No call to update, no answer when we called to follow up, nothing. I sent my bf back to get the the laptop as it had been well over a month and the guy actually haggled him and was trying to not give us back OUR laptop... Are you serious!? You had plenty of time to do what you needed or at least stay in contact with us about the progress and you have the audacity to get upset at us for wanting our property back! Wow... So for me its a hard nope. Never again.

Very Rude...This guy is very rude, dishonest and inhuman.I had an issue with my charging jack and key board(hardware costs 10+35 =$45). I went to computer world and asked for estimate, the owner said he needs time to give estimate and he said he will call me and tell me the estimate(I know that this is a business trick he is following, once you give your laptop, generally you will go ahead with repair).Next day at 12:15 pm he called me and gave me an estimate of $200($45 parts cost and $145 labor charges). I said I dont want to get it repaired and I will pick up my laptop later. Then he said I can only give your laptop within 30 mins otherwise you should wait for my next call. I said I might need some time and I will be there by 1:30 PM. Somehow I managed to go there by 12:45 PM. When I went to computer world the owner was free and has no customers. When I asked to return my laptop he denied to given back my laptop and asked me to come back at 1:30. After Little argument I realized that he is VERY RUDE..and will stoop to any level for money. I waited for 45 minutes in parking and picked my laptop at 1:30. It hardly took 30 seconds for him to return, but he made me wait for 45 minutes in this tough time of COVID 19.So be careful with guys like these who are very inhuman and will stoop to any level for money. During these tough times of COVID he argued and made me waited for 45 minutes to just return my laptop which is hardly 30 seconds job.Updated review after Brians reply:What a fabricated story you are saying, For charging jack and keyboard does anyone take his old laptop to India and get it repaired....Awesome joke.How many lies do you say..1) I was wearing Mask and you were saying I dint, can you prove by posting image from surveillance camera?2) I never said I wanted it to repair in India(Its a made up story)3)You dint even touch my laptop and you are saying you assembled my laptop..great jokeTry to provide better service but dont do these cheap tricks.

At the risk of being called names by the owner, I’m going to continue writing this. I feel folks need to reed this.I went in for a laptop screen replacement and after haggling for the price for quite sometime, the owner said he needed some time to source the part from another laptop; I wasn’t in a hurry so I agreed.Two weeks later, I checked in with the owner and he said to show up the next day. As discussed we went over ... outside the store a lady flagged us down and asked how our experience was with this store and proceeded to tell us that she’s been doing the back and forth run for about 5 months. This was our first red flag! So anyway we went in and got the laptop. Few issues we noticed immediately:1. The top cover was dented.2. The brightness control was totally gone. You had to have the screen at max brightness to be able to see things...So we exchanged a few colorful words with the owner where he pointed out that we could keep our broken screen and that we shouldn’t have expectations of a brand new screen considering what we paid for ($360 for a used screen!) and that the laptop was over 7 years old. He slammed the screen shut in front of us and made everyone uncomfortable in the store. While we were walking out, he re-engaged us and vociferously argued that he was correct and nothing was wrong with the screen. That was a scary moment and we just hoped that wed see our laptop again and walked away.We opted to get the broken screen installed again and try elsewhere.Again the owner decided to be very clumsy with timing and kept bumping us off from one appointment to another. Side note: no one’s time is important except for his so be warned if you have any time sensitive issues. We were in a limbo all weekend. Repeated attempts at calling him were futile. We finally decided to go the following business day and literally camp out until we got the laptop back.We got the laptop two days later with the broken screen; so back to square one.We ended up going to an authorized repair center and we got a brand new screen for about another $80. It just worked and came with some assurances! Equally importantly the repair was done in under three days.Moral of the story: respect your time and go to a better place. Know exactly what you pay for and don’t be afraid to get a quote from an authorized retailer... you never know it might be worth it. As for this store, needless to say, this would be the first and last time we consider stepping foot in that junkyard.

Most of the time I had about all my electronics at home myself because I am coming from electronics background but this time I had issue with five Macbook wasn’t holding charge and I spent a lot of time unfortunately I couldn’t figure it out and I need it’s related to the lodge at work Apple told me that they don’t support this laptop anymore but I found this place a line and I said let me give them a try yes they were able to fix the logic board for a very fair amount and got it done the same day I was very impressed what their quick Turnaround time.

My laptop screen was flickering and it was impossible to even log into the main screen, honestly, I thought it was over because finals are a week away and my entire semesters-worth of work was on the laptop. I managed to find this place super last minute and showed up as a walk in, 3 hours before closing. Brian was able to assure me that he would try his best to help me fix my laptop and recover the data as well as fix any other issues that were occurring. After a couple hours, not only was he was able to get the screen working again, he replaced my corrupt Windows 10 and help make my fans run quieter. A true life saver, thank you so much. Also, so sorry he had to work on Mothers Day, please forgive him, Brians mom, hes out saving some peoples computer-driven lives right now. Brian is a fast talker but knows what he is doing After I carefully researched online to take my MacBook for a pair I decided to go with this company and I think I made a great decision because everything happened exactly what I want it to be done with my computer my laptop is my whole life had an emergency situation and needed my Mac laptop to be repaired after a liquid spill he diagnosed and repaired the same day. Brian was very responsive, he picked up my laptop at work then within an hour, called me back about the issue. He didnt charge a callout fee, and was honest about what needed repaired and charged a reasonable fee for his job Highly recommend!

Honest, fast service at a perfectly reasonable cost. Much cheaper then apple store and importantly correct diagnostic test. Apple diagnosed bad logicboard board with repair cost of $680 but it turned out be my hard drive connector onboard and it was fixed here for only $165. Honesty is the best policy !! !

If I say here is quicker and better then apple store I for sure not making mistake. I upgraded my IMac to solute state drive and 2011 which I was expecting 1 week so least but Brian got it done with in 1 hour and half and I am still survived that how he was able to do this
