Attended a wedding there this weekend. The food wasnt satisfying at all. During the cocktail hour they had no kind of seafood or chicken for someone like me who doesnt eat beef or pork. The salmon fish for the main meal was horrible, it was very dry with no seasoning. My wife had to ask for salt to add some flavor to it, the dessert (cake) was the best part of the meal. Lastly there was only 1 small bar to serve approx 150 people with NO top shelf alcohol or bottled beer.

I had my wedding here on 4/16/21 and it was the most perfect day I could ever imagine. First of all Diana is phenomenal and made the planning process (especially during covid) a breeze. She made me so happy and made my wedding dreams come true. She’s the greatest. The staff was amazing and made sure we were all happy, they really know how to take care of their guests. And a gigantic shout out to Sam, Dakota, and Lexi for going above and beyond for me. They took care of me and my now husband the entire night, made my vision a reality, and were seriously the best. I can’t thank everyone enough. Our wedding was truly beautiful and everything I ever wanted.

It was a nice wedding but compared to what I am used to or is local it was just ok. Nothing special or stood out. Food was just ok.

I had my wedding at the Crystal Ballroom on 7/16/2021. Everything was perfect from start to finish!!I booked my wedding back in 2019 with Heidi. I fell in love with the venue and a few days after my tour, I booked! When COVID came, I was very nervous about how the venue was going to proceed with postponements. They were so accommodating and allowed me to postpone with zero hassle. From the booking, to the postponement, to the menu detailing, Heidi was quick to answer all of my questions and provided guidance and clarity during so much uncertainty.Prior to the wedding, I dropped off all of my personalized items for the wedding to Sam. She went over every detail with me to ensure that everything was planned as I had wanted. On the day of the wedding, Sam checked in with me multiple times while I was getting ready with my bridal party to assist us with anything we needed. Her eagerness to help was truly appreciated and made me feel at ease while I was nervous about my big day! Her generous and caring attitude made me realize that my event was in good hands and that I had nothing to worry about!Sam and Eric executed my event and perfectly implemented every detail I asked of them. The Ceremony space was gorgeous and better than I could have ever imagined! Sam made sure my entire bridal party was lined up perfectly for the procession which was such a big help! Immediately after the ceremony, Sam and Eric greeted my fiancé and I with champagne and led us to our reserved table for cocktail hour. They brought us food from each station so that we could spend time greeting our family and friends. My husband missed the round of pizza bagels that were passed so Eric brought him his own tray of them! All of our family and friends raved about how amazing the Cocktail Hour food and service was and I agree! Prior to the reception, they brought my fiancé and I into the ballroom so that we could see it all set up and it was absolutely beautiful. We brought our own personalized Neon Sign and they were able to hang it right over our gift table. It looked beautiful and it was such a great touch!During the reception, Sam and Eric made sure my fiancé had a drink at all times and they personally served us our meals. The food was delicious. Eric also made a point to bring us over to the dessert stations before it was open to our guests. They both checked in with us throughout the duration of the reception to ensure that we were satisfied with everything. The servers were phenomenal and made sure that all of our guests were taken care of. One server in particular took extra care of my grandmother who was chilly during the ceremony. This server brought a blanket over to my grandmother to accommodate her..I was so thankful!At the end of the reception, Eric packed up all of our items and delivered them to our suite for us. This was a HUGE help and certainly did not go unnoticed. The entire event was perfect. We even hosted a breakfast in the atrium the following morning and Eric made sure everything was to our satisfaction! Sam and Eric were so accommodating the entire time and ensured that my big day went off without a hitch! It truly was the best day ever!!

Big thanks to Heidi and her excellent staff. They really made the wedding during this pandemic beautiful Heidi is a great asset to the Radisson.on the other hand if you are dealing with Katarina she is liar and make sure you get everything in writing immediately when speaking to her. she caused a lot of unnecessary stress leading up to the wedding if I was just rating her there would be no stars and if she wasnt in the picture there would be five

I had my wedding at the Crystal Ballroom. We had an absolute blast! It was absolutely perfect. We worked with Lauren, then Heidi. Both were incredible and made my day the perfect day. The bridal suite was amazing. My guests were so happy. I cannot say enough on how great my day was.

We had our wedding in the Emerald Ballroom 9-8-18. We had already looked at 4 other venues and none impressed us like the Emerald. We started our journey with Sydney then Lauren stepped in without missing a beat. Lauren is kind, warm, and friendly. Shes responsive....not once did any email, phone call, questions or concerns go unanswered.Samantha N. was our maitre. Samantha N. and her team helped ensure our night was beautiful. The food was plentiful and delicious. Dinner was served a little late nevertheless it still came out hot and good. The atmosphere was gorgeous with the cove lighting and centerpieces.If youre on a budget and looking for something with elegant touch and still want million dollar service GO WITH THE PLATINUM PACKAGE AT EMERALD BALLROOM.My only buyers beware is the bridal suite is more like any other hotel standard king room. Its nothing special. And the check out time should be a little later than 11am for newlyweds.

Went for a free conference in January, with a continental breakfast. Easy parking. Ballroom we were in was conveniently right off the lobby. Food was eh. The pastries & bagels looked & tasted like they came from Sams club 2 days ago.

My wife and I attended a function at the Crystal Ballroom. Very easy to get to. Plenty of parking. The ballroom is beautiful and the staff very friendly. One of our acquaintances did not consume the main serving and requested it to be wrapped. The waiter wrapped it as if it was a gift. Just a snippet of the friendly wait staff.

Our wedding day AND the months before were a wonderful experience. The staff at The Crystal Ballroom treated us like royalty and were amazing with every detail. Everyone who attended talked so highly about the quality of the food they were served and the abundance of it.My wedding coordinator Tara helped me with every step. Every detail. She was always willing to help and answered any questions I had. It was really great just showing up to get married and knowing that they were taking care of everything to make my wedding day the best!

I cannot even begin to say how much I enjoyed my experience with the everyone at the Radisson. I had my wedding in the Courtyard and my reception at the Emerald Ballroom, the smaller reception hall. First of all, I live in California and planned my wedding long distance. The staff here could not have made it easier! Every e-mail or phone call was answered. Every question or concern attended to promptly. They made the whole planning experience stress-free!The day of the wedding was WONDERFUL! The venue, staff, and overall atmosphere was perfect from start to finish. The staff makes you feel like a priority. They are respectful of your wishes and do their absolute best to make sure your day goes smoothly.I cannot be any happier with this venue! Last month I attended my nieces wedding at the Radisson Crystal Ballroom, with expectations being that of a typical hotel reception. I was pleasantly surprised to find that this venue surpassed my expectations with an elegant ambiance and exceptional food preparation.The affair ran smoothly and without incident. The many facets of the wedding were brought together seamlessly because of the professionalism and expertise of the wedding consultants. My niece was especially grateful to Andrea for giving her peace of mind throughout the planning process. Andrea and Sydney executed the wedding to perfection!

I am booked to have my wedding at the Crystal Ballroom in September 2014 and I am super excited! The venue is BEAUTIFUL and the food options are above and beyond. Tara and Andrea are both extremely helpful and have both been so great in answering any and all of my questions quickly. I would highly recommend any bride to be to check out the Crystal Ballroom before they book their venue. They will not be disappointed!

Fire company dinner, food was good the chicken rolintine and lobster pureed and put with white fish was delicious food served hot appetizers were hot, room is small good for 150-200 people. Rest rooms are,handicap accessible. Crystal Ballroom is inside next to check in desk in the hotel

We had our wedding at the Crystal Ballroom this past weekend and it was absolutely amazing! The ballroom was decorated perfectly, and everything came together just the way we wanted! The food was delicious, from cocktail hour until the desserts were served. The staff was very attentive to every guest and anything that we needed. It was the greatest night of our lives! All of the planning was guided by the catering staff (Tara and Andrea) and Yaron assisted us with all of our needs that night. He even helped us to add an extra hour to our party because the everyone was having so much fun! THANK YOU for making this night so memorable!

I had my wedding here last May it went perfect. The planners are phenomenal and they did such a great job at accommodating me and all of my guests. Couldnt have asked for a better day and night to remember!!

Our 9/22/12 wedding was beyond our dreams....it is in large part due to the fabulous staff at Crystal Ballroom. From the moment I first met Tara and Valerie I knew this was my venue. They are responsive, professional, understanding, and a joy to work with. Through the entire wedding planning process they were there to answer every question that I had and never made me feel like I was a bother. They accommodated everything I wanted to make my wedding day special and unique. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful- modern and elegant. The pictures online do not due the space justice. It is beautiful. The food was fantastic- our guests enjoyed the cocktail hour and dinner. The hotel rooms are spacious, modern and most importantly comfortable. The brunch we had the following morning was plentiful and a touch the guests really enjoyed. The entire staff- from bartenders to wait staff to hotel reception was professional and hard working. Ron- the Maitre d- was fantastic. He anticipated our needs and took care of anything we asked. I can not say enough about our experience with Crystal Ballroom- I highly recommend this venue for any event.

Was there as a guest for a wedding reception on 9/23 and my god...I have never seen worse service. The staff are unfriendly and nasty if you try to ask them something. No one is professional including management; they are worse than the staff. I was invited to many weddings and I have never seen a cocktail hour like this one, You can get better food off of the value menu in McDonalds. I dont recommend this place for anyone doing their wedding. The Place needs a major major major management / staff upgrade.

Words cannot describe how amazing my wedding was at the Crystal Ballroom at the Radisson Hotel in Freehold NJ. The venue, food, and decor were all out of this world. All of our guests were blown away with the venue, and the displays of food!!! The staff was perfect, always going above and beyond what I would ever expect. They made the whole wedding planning process easy. I would recommend ANYONE to have ANY event at the Crystal Ballroom in Freehold.

Just had my wedding there and it was a disaster. The food especially the beef that was served was different from what we tasted. Some so poorly cooked. Bar service slow. Cocktail room so small and food not enough. Had over 30 rooms booked and we didn’t get anything complimentary . Rooms had bugs in it. Please do yourself a favor and look somewhere else.

The absolute second my husband and I walked into the Crystal Ballroom we knew that it was where we wanted to spend our wedding day. Everything about the ballroom was absolutely breathtaking, the chandeliers were gorgeous and the location was perfect. Working so closely with Andrea and Tara, I cannot being to explain the amount of friendliness and professionalism these two ladies have. They treat you like family and they are so attentive with responding to emails and phone calls with any questions I had throughout this process. My husband and I picked the Platinum package for our wedding. On the day of the wedding, everyone at the Radisson were so attentive to catering to all of our needs. Andrea and Tara helped me so much with all of my nerves and making sure I have everything I needed for meeting my husband down the aisle. We also had our ceremony at the venue and before I went out they prepped me and made sure I looked absolutely perfect. The cocktail hour was amazing, the food was delicious, all of our guests raved about how wonderful the cocktail hour was, I dont think anyone went home hungry! My husband and I had our own attendant who came by and gave us a sample of everything and also Andrea and Tara made sure we sat down and ate as well! They were absolutely wonderful! We also had the outdoor patio which was also beautiful! The reception was beautiful, the tables were gorgeous and so were the centerpieces that come with the package, I couldnt have asked for anything more, and dinner was delicious! We had the ice cream bar and everyone loved it! We also had a breakfast the next day which was the perfect touch for the guests who stayed over. Tara and Andrea and the entire catering office and hotel staff went above and beyond to make sure my husband and I had the wedding of our dreams -- they are all a fabulous team! Thank you so much for everything and for making our night unforgettable!

The Crystal Ballroom is amazing!! The staff are wonderful and always accommodating , wedding packages are great and affordable, the venue is absolutely gorgeous, and their food is excellent. My Fiancé and I had a wonderful experience and can not wait to have our wedding there in the fall October 2015.

We had visited quite a few other venues, but we knew from the minute we walked in to the Crystal Ballroom that it was the place for our wedding! The space is beautiful and the staff was so friendly and welcoming. The price was also right for us too! I was leery of booking a place without having tried the food and they were willing to hold a tasting for us just a few days after our visit -- we even met the chef! The food, of course, was great and we couldnt have asked for more. All of our needs were met and questions were answered within 24 hours. The day of ran so smoothly and all of the staff were more than willing to do whatever we needed. Two months later our guests are still raving about the food and how it was the best wedding theyve ever been to! We couldnt have imagined our big day in any other place than the Crystal Ballroom!

Within a week of our engagement, we booked our reception with the Crystal Ballrooms sister ballroom, the Versailles Ballroom. Our heart was set on the Crystal Ballroom but because our budget fit better with the Versailles Ballroom, we went with our second choice. About 6 months later, we no longer imagined our dream wedding at the Versailles Ballroom so we took a chance and called the Crystal Ballroom to see if our wedding date was still available. It was risky since our date was in less than 5 months when most venues would be booked in no less than a years time, but we had nothing to lose. Lo and behold, February 15, 2014 was the only Saturday date available! We knew that this was a sign and that we had to switch our wedding to our dream ballroom. It was no easy task switching our vendors to a new location, re-arranging our schedule, telling our family and friends, but it was worth it. Its a scary thought to any Bride and Groom when their venue changes, but the process could not have been any smoother, thanks to the staff at the Crystal Ballroom. I was a born planner but I could not have planned a wedding in Winter Storm Pax without their help. The staff made planning a breeze and to this day, our family and friends cannot stop raving about the food and decor. Though the days leading up to the big day was stressful with Mother Nature against us, our winter wedding was everything we could have imagined and we could not have done it without the Crystal Ballroom. In Monmouth County, the Crystal Ballroom is the most beautiful ballroom there is. Whether youre at their sister ballroom or shopping around for your dream venue, you must visit the Crystal Ballroom and book your wedding here! Andrea and Tara - thank you for all you have done. I was married at the Crystal Ballroom in April 2014 and it was the best day of my life! From the very beginning of the planning process, all the girls in the sales office were extremely helpful, courteous, and friendly. They respond to all emails or calls with 24 hours...I even got feedback from them on nights and weekends to put me at ease. A fun perk is a group tasting night they hold where you get to see and taste so many extra options. I had my entire day at the ballroom...getting ready, ceremony, and reception. Everything went so smooth and everything we wanted to happen was done exactly how we asked, which was amazing for a detail oriented worrier like me. Our guests RAVED about the amount and quality of food at cocktail hour, and the signature drinks were another huge hit (we had the honeymoon martini!) The outside wine garden was a beautiful addition with firepits to keep guests cozy in the evening air. The ballroom was beautiful, even without extra up lighting, and the room was spacious enough for crowds on the dance floor and a photo booth. The wait staff and maitre d are so attentive to the bride and groom...I cant even describe how magical, special, and worry free the night was! I recommend the Crystal Ballroom with utmost confidence, and all this for SUCH reasonable prices.

I booked my daughters wedding there for next September. It had everything we wanted in a reception. From the food, to the ambiance,to the hotel accomodations. We cant wait to experience an awesome venue!!

If I could give it zero stars, I would. The cocktail hour was microwaved cocktail weenies, mozzarella sticks and the like. Food at the reception was disgusting. Drinks were watered down. We left the wedding and grabbed McD on the way home we were so hungry. STAY AWAY!!!!!

I do not even know how anyone could possibly book this venue to have their wedding here! Where do I begin....First Ill start by introducing myself. I am a wedding DJ and I do weddings weekend in and out and its all I know for 6 years now. I DJed a wedding at Crystal Ballroom on Saturday, September 23rd and it was the worst experience ever. I felt so bad for my Bride and Groom that they wasted their money on such a place. 2 people from the bridal party were missing before introductions and the Maitre d was notified, she literally stood there watching the bride and groom walk around the entire place looking for these 2 people as she looked at her watch and the bride became super stressed and she still did NOTHING to help. That is NOT the job of the bride and groom. A Maitre d is there to make your life easier and coordinate the wedding for you, not watch you work and plan your big night. After lining everyone up, I asked her who do they look for on the dance floor so they know where to go and how to line up? Her response was, there is someone there and they will tell them what to do. That person should be inside with the MC letting them know Hey guys, as your being lined up, look for me on the dance floor and I will assist you on where/how to stand once you see me, but nope. Nothing! Second, maitre d came and notified me that i need to sit everyone down so they could get their dinner orders (totally fine and done at every wedding after intros)..She told me she needs about 5 minutes to do so and I say ok, no problem....5 minutes goes by and I hear nothing from anyone...10 minutes later I start looking for the Maitre d inside the hall and kitchen and she is no where to be found. The chef asked me how can I help you I responded, the Maitre d told me dinner orders would be taken but Im not sure if you guys are finished or not because Id like to open up the dance floor. He responded I think youre good to go, because I already have all my orders...So when I finally found the Maitre d I asked her how come I was never notified that all their dinner orders were in and Im good to go to open up the dancefloor? Her response was I told you it would be about 5 minutes and I didnt know I need to tell you something like that. WOW! What a response...So what if it took them 6 minutes to take dinner orders? or 7 minutes? How would I know theyre finished or not finished unless she communicates with me for the night to go smoothly? Once again, this is the job of the Maitre d to coordinate with the DJ as it is my job to coordinate with them what I have planned for the bride and groom. Everyone has a role to play for the night and its our job as professionals to make it happen. Third, it came time for speeches and toasts. There were 2 speakers left which was the brother and the father of the groom. The Maitre d came up to me and said just to let you know Im going to start serving dinner now. I said what do you mean? We still have 2 speakers left. She said we are already behind schedule and I cannot wait, so I will be serving around them...SUPER disrespectful and unprofessional! It is the job of the venue to handle a situation like this that arises. As I am ordered by every bride and groom to make sure everyone is quiet for speeches so they could hear, how could the hall staff itself start making noise?? Fourth, the staff at the hall thinks its ok to pass back and forth from behind the DJ booth as we have wires that could very easily be unplugged even though its taped down. Mistakes happen so why risk it at someones big night and who will look stupid if it does happen? I will! I asked one of the staff members nicely to please go around us when he needs to pass and he totally ignored. He went to grab another tray of plates and came back to walk behind us again. We tried to stop him and tell him to go around and he bumped into my guys shoulder and walked right through him not caring. We had to later set up chairs to block off the way from anyone coming through even after the Maitre d was notified. To be continued...........

Our wedding was May 30, 2013 and it was better than I imagined. The team at Radisson Freehold went above and beyond to accommodate all of my needs. They were very patient with my ever changing request, emailing me within hours and even minutes answering any and every question I had no matter how big or small. The staff worked so well with my outside vendors and made my family and friends feel very welcome. Almost a year later everyone is still saying they had the best time ever. The food was absolutely delicious and the atmosphere was just soo great. My ceremony was held outside in front of the fountain, the cocktail hour was in a smaller room and the reception was in the Crystal Ballroom. The staff moved everyone from location to location seamlessly. When my husband and I have our anniversary party in 10 years you best believe it will be right back where we started, Radisson Freehold!
