I have been here once before but just as a walk in. Today I walked in because I was out of town last week and got my nails done and they were done horribly so bad that this morning in the shower my nail broke off. I walked in and the nail technician was very friendly and inviting and it made me feel comfortable being there the nail salon was very open and clean everytime I moved somewhere or touched something it was wiped down and sterilized. The nail technician was constantly sanitizing her hands which made me feel a little bit safer getting my nails done, as soon as she was done with her fist client I went up and explained what happened to my nails she immediately explained what she needed to go to fix them and got started with it. There was so much work to be done and she did it with ease! I will be coming back she had me laughing we talked and she constantly asked me if she was pressing to hard on my nails or to make sure my nail shaped was up to par. Went there on 8/21/21 to get a pedicure for myself and a set of nails for my niece. I want to start by saying the staff is very welcoming and super friendly. They were both busy and asked that we come back at 2. Wren we returned they were again super pleasant, friendly, and ready to begin service. After paying they lady who did my nieces nails thanked us for our patience and we left. Later that evening I asked my niece to send me a picture of her nails. I was totally taken back by what I saw. It looked like the nail tech did nothing but slap the nails on her fingers. Her cuticles were not pushed back nor did the tech clean the dead skin around her nails. The nails selected weren’t big enough for her nail bed. My pedicure was great but the set of nails definitely wasn’t worth $35.

Every time I go here I love it. I switched out my nail spot for unique nails since May of this year 2021 and I’ve not look back since. My nails are done to perfection and the salon is so clean! I am not going anywhere else as long as I live in Fredericksburg ❤️

I live in the neighborhood and just realized this business reopened. Today was my first visit and I was very pleased with the service. It was very easy to schedule an appointment online and the customer service was awesome! They did a great job on my gel nails, artwork, and pedicure. On the advice of a friend, I visited this salon. I havent gotten a mani/pedicure in over a year because if COVID. First its location is away from the bustle of Central Park where I usually go. Second, you can book online so it saves the guess work of when to show up. The salon was very clean and comfortable. Giao was wonderful. She gave me advice on how to help my dry heels. Massage chairs very comfortable. Great experience. Will return.

Giao has over a decades worth of experience and will work to get you exactly what you want and more! By that I mean- she looks out for your nails best interest. She’s extremely talented and def making a big difference in the beauty industry.Within 2 hours pedicures, manicures, and nail designs of all sorts were done beautifully and delicately!I HIGHLY RECOMMEND you to make an appointment before going in- it will really help them out! However if this is not possible they do accept walk ins when able.I recommend Giao’s salon to all my family and friends. I’m sure you will be just as pleasantly surprised as my family has been. My mom and I came here to get our nails done and had an incredible experience. Ally and Giao made us feel very comfortable and welcomed, they were friendly, polite and they really knew what they were doing as technicians. The overall experience was great! Love the decor and the environment. I had my nails and eyelash/lip waxed. My technicians name was Giao and she was super friendly. I loved the nail result, matched the inspiration perfectly. Definitely recommend!

I came in today on Mothers Day. It was a bit hectic when we arrived. They were pretty busy! I guess everyone had the same idea as us! Overall, they did a wonderful job. I didnt get my technicians name, she was very quick! It did worry me at first, that she was rushing! That was not the case at all! She just seemed to have been doing it a long time! My nails turned out wonderful!! And I have gone to salons where they took a really long time, but the end result just did not match the time put in! Her precision was amazing! I will be returning!

I sadly forgot to ask for name of my technician, but she was very knowledgeable and happy to answer all of my questions as a recent acrylics wearer. She made sure to ask what shape & style I preferred, and, again, patiently explained the differences in shape to me. There was a great emphasis on my personal preference & a willingness to offer input. I wasn’t there for long, but didn’t feel at all rushed — it’s just clear she knows what she’s doing!! Thank you :)

The nails are cheap but honestly not worth it. My nail tech was 10 minutes late which is fine but she had a customer waiting ahead of me asking them to fix her nail because it broke off in a week. After she was done it had been 35 minutes past my appointment time. My nail tech was not wearing a mask, did not wash her hands upon arrival or switching from customer to customer or after taking a break to eat. She was also on her phone texting and looking at something a lot during my appointment. She was in such a rush I felt bad asking for a design so I ended up leaving without one. The nails look so grown out after just a week of having them on, and exactly a week on the dot two of my nails have already fallen off. I’m not posting this to be rude just warning people to save their money.

I believe they are still working on their decor. No biggie. The overall experience was wonderful! The staff seems to work very well together! My technician was Molly, and she was so wonderful!

Fantastic service! I was in there when one of the client was being extremely condescending to one of the technician. I had to commend the technician for keeping her composure. I was glad to see management step in, stopped service, and asked the client to leave. The technician ended doing my service. After her whole ordeal she still maintained such a great attitude! She did an amazing job! I will definitely be back!

I tried giving this place a chance. I tried two different techs and within four days I had lifting. The first time the tech rushed. The second time the tech took forever and didn’t get the shape right and still had lifting. She blamed my nails for growing too fast. I’ve never had this issue any where else. I’m extremely dissatisfied.

Hands down the best customer service I have ever received in this area from a Nail Salon. They were polite and offered drinks while I waited and during my visit. My pedicure was the best I have had. They took their time and listened to what I asked for. Also had my niece with me for her birthday and they listened to her request regarding her nails (shes 10) and still made her feel like her opinion matter. And their prices are absolutely killing every other salon in Fredericksburg. The quality and the pricing is the best. Will definitely be returning again!!! Thank you ladies ❤❤❤

I went to this place when it first opened. I didnt hate it, but I didnt love it. I decided to give this place another try. It seems they made some changes. I had a much different experience this time. My technician was great to talk to. She really took her time and did such a thorough job!

I got my hair colored/dyed here recently and i feel so confident now! it came out exactly how i asked and exceeded my expectations. riley was extremely nice and seemed very professional and educated in what she was doing/talking about.

The pictures on here look great but trust me this is FALSE ADVERTISING. Three of my friends and I went to get our nails done here and there was only one lady who did all four of us. For me the previous color I had on they didn’t even take all of it off. Overall what she did was not the correct way to do dip gel nails. She did not even use the drill, so my nails came out extremely bumpy and matte. When I got home I put on two coats of clear nail polish so they could look somewhat shiny. As for my friends all of them complained about there nails having bumps and divots in them. I think the lady thought we knew nothing about nails so she could just rush through us. It was very unprofessional and I won’t be returning. Not worth the price at all.

I came in for an appointment this past weekend. Many salons in the area are closed on Sundays. By chance I came across this salon. I am glad I did. Wonderful experience! Great service! The decor is very different from other salons I have been to, and welcoming atmosphere.

The prices here is very good for the area! I have gone to many salons in the area. They always seemed to be very over priced. This salon is fairly newer. They seemed to be working on some projects in the salon, which I think should be done after hours. Overall, I had enjoyed my experience.

Everytime I come in the girls are always so welcoming. Their customer service is fantastic! Molly helped me with my service. She was so easy to talk to! This is the first establishment that has ever asked me of any medical conditions before starting my service so they can properly take care of me! They really pay attention to the small things here.

The service was great and thorough. I got a dip powder manicure and pedicure. The hot tea they provided to sip was delicious and soothing. I was also sold on getting cluster lashes and I’m so glad I did, they look great without the maintenance and cost of the individual lashes. Would definitely recommend!

I wish I can give this place 0 stars because it was my first time going there thinking they were very good because of there reviews but 2 hours after getting my acrylic nails done 3 popped off. It’s been 4 days since getting them done and I lost 3 more of my nails. Like seriously did they even try to keep them stuck on. I’ve never been so livid about a nail place that made me pay 72 dollars for my manicure and pedicure together. I wish I never went there. I now know to never go there again

Got my nails done here. I loved it! They were very professional, and thorough in advising me on my nails! They were very upfront with what they believed was best, but did not try to pressure me into something I did not wanted. This is pretty typical at other salons as an upsell tactic.

My friends and I found this place on groupon and were very satisfied with our experience. We were a little afraid of trying a new place out but we loved it and will deff be coming back. The interior is clean, modern, and they decorate it for every season which is so cute. We loved the flower wall. The girls were both so nice and talked to us the entire time. The price was great - got both a pedicure and gel manicure in $42 which was amazing! 10/10 recommend!

I had S&S dip done the first day my nails chipped tried to call they told me their voicemail they don’t have the passcode to the voicemail I told him a white girl did my nails she started saying how rude how offensive I said how is that rude I’m white don’t go there

By far my favorite place to go! i always get my manicures and pedicures done here and they always exceed my expectations. they care about things no other salon i’ve been to has cared to ask. my nails and toenails ALWAYS come out exactly how i ask and are done to precision. they look perfect! the staff is so kind and polite and easy to talk to. they offer drinks and ask me if i’d like more or less pressure during my massage. and the salon has such beautiful decorations. the nail technicians seem so much more experienced and caring than any salon ive ever been to.

This shop is under new management. Its clean and pretty! The staff is super nice and the prices are really great for the area! The acrylic designs are amazing and they strive to do the best and keep up-to-date on trending tecs. With custom pedicures, you can tell they are wanting to give their customers the best experience.

I scheduled a dip for my nails, basic pedi, eyebrows and lip wax. I also scheduled my daughter to have a full set with gel polish and pedi. 4 days in advance. Long story short. I left out with a bad basic pedi that took 2 hours and 2 people. For NO reason!!! Oh! And my nails had only been grinded. The girl whom seem to be the only one who knew what she was doing, (to a degree), left and went to the back room in the middle of our service and did not return. My daughter never got her pedi and partial of her nails done, before telling the young lady to take them off. This place has no skilled techs. I dont believe any of them have been to school or maybe they just started. SAVE YOUR TIME & MONEY. DONT BOTHER!! Two good things I can say, they were super polite, (whos not when you dont know what your doing but needs customers?) and I didnt pay for any of it!!

Will NEVER take my wife near this place again! Took her there a half hour after they opened to get a manicure and a pedicure. There were two technicians with a client each. No one else waiting for service. My wife asked if they had time for her to get a manicure and pedicure and the caucasian lady looked at us and said, Uh, NO - NOT TODAY! and went back to work on her client (whch she was almost done with). We said, Oh, Okay thank you and headed for the door. The oriental lady who was working on the other client jumped up and said, No, no- dont go wait. Needless to say. We kept on going. My wife now goes to MAI NAILS over by STEAMERS on Chatham Heights Rd. They are true business people. We went there direclty after leaving Unique Nails and they had many clients. They told my wife to pick a color and have a seat. Then they called for more help to come in to work because they were busy. What a difference in treatment. MAI NAILS is the place for US!!!!!!! :-)
