Not the best Lowes Ive been to. It used to be way better. This location is always super crowded. And the staff is always stressed out. I apologized the last 2 times to workers for asking them questions. And the girl at check out asked me why I was so cheap to buy dead plants. How embarrassing 😳😕 and by the way I saved them all. And I love the plant clearance racks, best part of this location. So many plants to save. That should tell you something. I think they are over worked and under staffed. Purchase a high end brush cutter that was missing parts and no more models left to exchange for. Customer service was unable to give me the part off another model to correct. CS rep, Mike, reviewed the situation the other 2 reps had and traded the part out for me when he realized it was the easiest solution. He went out of his way and I appreciated it and will go to that location again and again based off his help to fix my problem. Kudos sir.

Tried to call about a custom cabinets order placed back in may set to be delivered oct 4 -oct 8 well they have the wrong phone number tried to call lowes with no luck called 9-24-21 120pm 2min 24 sec hung up on 242 pm nothing 339pm 2mins 28 sec so tried 10-4-21 now it ger better 212pm 3min 11 sec 222pm 5min 10 248pm 4min 22 sec 345 11mins 3 sec they put me on hold then hung up called at 515 pm 10min someone pick up the phone said custom cabinets have already left wow .I understand short staff but pick up phone let let someone lnow whats going on dont just hang up are leave waiting

Story time!!!I purchased an item on Amazon that was missing few pieces. I stop by Lowes hoping I would could replace those pieces for the meantime. After walking around clueless, Martin helped me find items that would be used as replacement and still function properly. It would have cost me $48bucks and few more days if I have gone back and forth with Amazon but I was able to fix everything less than $7. Thank you Martin!

Lowes vs. Home Depot. For me Lowes wins. Both have similar items but Lowes always beats Home Depots prices. Lowes also beats Home Depot on customer service. My last experience with the two store where on the same day looking for the same item. I first went to Home Depot for a oil filter and belt for a Cub Cadet mower (Home Depot sells Cub Cadet exclusively) and they didnt have either. Their selection of belts was minimal to say the least. So I went t Lowes they had the belt. Online showed they had the oil filter but it wasnt on the shelf. The Associate pulled out the ladder and searched 15 boxes until she found what I was looking for. Now thats customer service. Lowes Wins!!!

Horrible today. The app inventory is so far off the in store stock. The isles were full off Xmas stuff on pallets. The one bright spot was the cashier. She was fast and courteous.

This location is the best Lowes in the area for houseplants. They have a large section inside the store, and a good-sized greenhouse, which most other ones around here dont have.They also have all the home improvement supplies and tools youd expect to see in a Lowes.We recently bought a refrigerator from here, and they had it delivered and installed in a reasonable amount of time. The price dropped about two weeks later, and all we had to do was go up to the store with our receipt, and they gave us the difference, with no lip.

This is the worst Lowe’s to purchase anything from. The assistant manager Sharon needs to learn how to talk to customers and employees. She is a horrible person and she acts like the customer is not important at all . Don’t understand why she is still an employee for Lowe’s . I have never dealt with any kind of manager that uses her job title as leverage. She never tries to help or solve the problem. Always a bitter person to everyone she interacts with.

Dont go after 9....it will be a test to find help when people are scrambling to get off work by 10.

Needed some assistance in plumbing and couldnt fi d anyone for 10 minutes. Walked up and down 14 aisles before I found someone to assist me. They consistantly try to get by with minimal staffing. Home Depot isnt perfect but they are better in that regard.

I come here pretty often as i have been doing extensive repairs and touch ups to our home (built in the 1990s). I usually try Harbor Freight or Home Depot first due to price differences. However, I go here often because they have a broad selection of most items and i can usually find what i need (or find a knowledgeable salesperson who can assist.)

Prefer Lowes over Home Depot. I receive a 365 day a year 10% Veterans Discount except on discount items. This week I purchased twenty 2 Cu/Ft bags of mulch for two dollars a bag (Home Depot bags are either 1.5 or 1.8 Cu/Ft). Home Depot 10% discount are not available to all Veterans 365 days a year, only on select days. Both stores price match..

Home installation services is a joke...dont waste your time....Big company, sales guy that visits you talks a big game, talks up their project coordinators....they all pass the buck. No personal service.....It all ends up with installation services in the end...you may as well be dealing with robots......shoddy work too, do your research and contract local business....(Oh yeah, they find the worst local business to do the work.)...

Im still a Lowes fan over Home Depot, but Lowes has completely reorganized the store which in my opinion adds no value and just adds confusion for all of the customers who knew where everything was and could go get the things they need quickly. Now its a pain in the a$$ and takes double the time to figure out where everything is. Even the associates dont know. What were you thinking, Lowes management???

I would never recommend this location to anyone! Please go to any other store if you are looking for any quality service. The constant attitude from ALL the employees is obnoxious, and forget curbside puck up. We sat on hold for 45 minutes with 3-4 different employees picking up the phone asking how they can help then put us on hold again. Absolutely terrible service.The only reason we came here was because we drained the other lowes of the tile we bought.

Lowes had moved a lot of their products around to make it a lot easier for the customers. It is just gonna take a little bit of time to get use to where they moved everything. Their customer service has gotten better.

The employees are always helpful and knowledgeable. The store is clean and the garden center has a great selection of plants and flowers. See Cartrell for flooring needs. He was amazing helpful with our hardwood floor project.

Went in to return a faulty 60 gal air compressor. It took an hour to return the unit and they failed to return it properly. The associate at the return counter failed to properly apply the discount and instead of doing a store credit, she refunded the card used and tied up $1100 for 3-5 days before it would be posted back to the account. Further, she was extremely rude and unprofessional when the error was pointed out. In the end I had to purchase a larger 80 gal air compressor to accommodate my needs the next day and had to purchase it at $1100, but even this couldnt be done in a timely manner taking another 25 minutes to just complete this transaction. To summarize, purchased a 60 gal air compressor, paid an electrician labor hours to install, found it faulty (motor smoking and burning), returned the unit, purchased a new one had to repay the labor for install, paid $1100 for the new one and $1100 for the refund to post (still waiting), all while an associate who was a fault gave me an attitude and raised her voice at me for her error. Not the best experience at Lowes. Luckily I understand this was a one off experience, but this store needs training. Manager on duty Don was ineffective and associate Sharnell needs training. If I could give 0 stars, I would. Wasted hours of my life for their ineptitude and unprofessionalism. Avoid the 6pm and later shift if you want to get anything accomplished.

But Only In past 2 yrs been charged for items I never got.I filed a complaint over a year ago but no response. as yet. I still have to shop there. I know half of the. Employees. That are Honest. My prob. With Mgmt. Approved to charge me with items I didnt want nor got.

Great financing terms, they even provided us with loaner window units! It was fantastic because it was 103! Very impressed with their contractor services selection ( Total Comfort). Its a big box home improvement store. It has been pretty crowded lately. They stopped carrying 2cuft bags of miracle gro garden soil for some reason and they did not have electrical connectors or an electrical connector kit Ive been looking for, but all in all its a good store.

I had just had a bad experience at Lowe’s on South Point Parkway and they didn’t have what I needed, to boot.Went to Central Park to the plumbing section only to be ignored again by an older gentleman with glasses who obviously worked in the section as he was moving stock and had the signature red vest.I found my item and went to the front for assistance. Lilian (didn’t get her last name) helped as was very polite. Ms. Betty Parker was the cashier that checked me out and was very polite, cheerful and helpful, EVEN near the end of the evening. THOSE TWO EMPLOYEES ARE WHY THIS RATING IS A 4 and NOT A 1 star.I did nothing to the rude and ignorant employees- I say again, if you don’t want to help people, DO NOT Take a job in retail or customer service.Thank you Betty and Lillian!!

Never will do ship to store again! I would suggest never doing ship to store here. They tried to rush the system durring covid and it is worthless and no one at the store knows how to help you. I got charged 469 dollars for an item that they said was at the store, but wasnt. I will now have that pending charge for up to 10 days on my account. They told me i could switch it out with one in the store, but i would have to spend another 389 dollars.

I spoke with Chris about appliances, toilets, and tubs. He was very informative and helpful. Then I spoke with Shenell (name may be spelled incorrectly) in flooring who was also very informative and helpful.

Curbside order was VERY SLOW. Took over 2 hours to process an order for 1 box of floor. Have been using curbside pickup at other lowes locations at least a few times a mo th this last year and its always ready in 30 mins. When finally spoke to someone after 2 hours of placing order found they hadnt even started processing it. Customer service associate said they were very busy but in the hour I sat in their curbside section I was the only car there.

Outstanding that they sell the Jackson III 6 cu ft wheelbarrow for $109 as compared to Home Depots price of $196. Ill take that savings any day.

Went yesterday to purchase blocks for building a fire pit. Absolutely no one available to help load them. Went to customer service to ask for help. They called and no one ever came. Senior citizen here with a bad back ended up loading nearly 80 lbs alone. Went to check out and there was a line 10 deep. They obviously need to HIRE MORE HELP.

I could not find what I was looking for in the sales ad , also the workers did not know the price of items. Items not priced. Also they had me go all the way inside store looking for the item I wanted to find out from another worker its outside in isle #2. Ad not posted for item .This store is so confused. The staff need training or to be aware of items and sales,I dont work there but I was helping people y telling them where to find an item and how much it costs. I did finally find my stuff and also bought two small shrubs but Lowes you got to get it together. People like your store.Lawn and Garden should have had a pallet of sales items in one spot so people could just grab and load. Some elderly would really appreciate that. You see I shop for what I need but next time if I have to go through a hurdle I will go some place else.Thanks for the exercise!

Lowes is to me like Toyland must be to a small child. I want to see every new gadget and tool thats come into the tool department, every new innovation in home construction and maintenance thats hit the market and more. And Lowes has it all! And their experienced staff will practically train you how to do your task right there in the store. In over 30 years of dealing with Lowes at a variety of stores, I have never been disappointed. Im new to Fredericksburg, so Ive had a few stops at this locations, all of which have been pleasant.

Total incompetence at front desk as well as the short haired woman I charge of outdoor/lawnmower section. Called 3 times to confirm. I was abel to pay online and then pick up that item (wich was a $3,000 lawnmower) right away (about a hour from now was my exact words) then I show up a hour later and get about 4 diffrent stories before they settle on i ned to wait for it to clear i cant just pay online (with a lowes credit card mind you) and pick up immediately. The best part after saying o yeah I talked to you earlier when I first walked in, she now says im sorry im not sure who you spoke with YOU! ... I can understand a mistake, it happens, even after asking 3 times whatever I can live with it had they just owned up to it rather than talking in circles and playing?? Dumb.

We are building a house and Cam was so patient with my mother and I and helped us so very much. Also Raven my cashier was quite friendly and assisted me as well as the store manager Kirk.

Had the unfortunate pleasure of working with Bobby Pittman in the appliances department.Our washing machine died and we needed a new LG washer to match our dryer. All of the research as well as LG said the mounting kit matched the model we had and the model we wanted to purchase.We tried explaining what we needed from Mr. Pittman but were interrupted 3 different times by him explaining it could not be done. When we provided the corrected information he said it doesnt matter, we wont install the washer or warranty itI thanked him and my family politely left the store. We couldnt even explain what we needed before being steamrolled and told no or interrupted. We purchased the same washer from Best Buy were Geek Squad had zero issues mounting the washer to the dryer today.

Too many things too look at. I was lost. But they staff was helpful and knowledgeable and I left with what I came for so overall it was a good experience!

This location is out doing their competitors by far! The flower/garden shop is excellent. I was so impressed with theyre selection. They have the most beautiful , gigantic hanging ferns that I have ever seen!

Worst service I have received in my life sat in curbside pickup for over 30 minutes called 13 times no answer then some guy with no Lowes anything on comes up with the scanner craziest thing I ever seen

My elderly widowed mother recently ordered a fence from Lowes. After weeks of waiting, it was delivered yesterday. The delivery driver said they could not leave it in her back or side yard- they could only leave it in her driveway! The installer isnt coming until some time next week, so until then, my elderly mothers car is stuck in her garage. What if there is an emergency? Great customer service? I think NOT!
