I ran across this place earlier in the week when leaving the adjacent Home Depot. Decided to check it out, as Ive felt rushed through the haircut factory Ive been using in the past. I booked my appointment online and randomly selected John. Hit the jackpot with him! John told me he was new to the shop, but certainly not new to the profession. Dude sure can cut hair! Took his time and meticulous as heck. Best damn haircut Ive had in years. So long Sport Clips! Hooked on John and this place going forward.

Great place. Everyones super friendly. Great child experience. Welcoming and professional. Brandon is fantastic but everyone seems to do great work with great attitudes.

Stopped going here 2 years ago and after a few terrible haircuts I decided to go elsewhere. Tried giving them another shot this week and again the haircut was terrible as they didnt do what i asked and the cut is terrible.

More than just a haircut... Its a social experience and place for a laugh! All The barbers are pros and you cant go wrong.

There was no wait time and they got me right in as a walk-in the last time I was there. It’s usually less than a 15 minute wait even when there is one, in my experience. The barber was fast but did a good job. I love the atmosphere of the “old time” type barber shops that you just don’t get in a hair cuttery or similar. Prices went up a buck or two because of all the COVID stuff, but I felt that it was still reasonable.

My go-to place for a fade. All the guys that work here are legit ,Ive never had a bad cut here but Ricos fades stand out. I almost always get some strange within a few days after he shapes my wig up. NO BS!

A solid place to get a well priced hair cut. Each barber has their own niche, but having gone to pretty much all of them, no complaints. Youll like settle with one you prefer. The take appointments now with COVID. oh, having gone to 5 places in the area, this is by far the best.

TodayI got my hair cut by Brandon. The entire experience was quick and especially safe. This was my first haircut in 5 months. The haircut was exactly what I wanted, and I feel so much better. I suggest you take advantage of their appointment system in order to make the experience even safer. I did, and I will do it again...hopefully sooner than 5 months.

They do the absolute BEST job with our sons hair! He HATES getting haircuts!! We have be trying to explain to him young men with curly hair have to keep it styled, so cuts are needed!

Short wait times, great friendly staff, had me in and out in a reasonable time and at a reasonable price. I went in there not knowing what I wanted and told them to do whatever. They proceeded to give me the best haircut of my life. If I could rate 6 stars, I would.

Love the Barber Shop, its a Real Mans Place!! Ive been going here since it opened probably near 10 years ago. They have a full staff of talented barbers and do a great job with all ages. They also offer beard and mustache trims. Love these guys!!

My husband wont let anybody but John cut his hair and beard since weve been going here. I even had my hair cut by Liz and she did a great job. Friendly place, supports military, quick and good with my son!

Love this place!!!! My teen sons always get the perfect cut every time we visit. My oldest son has a beard and he loves a nice trim at this place as well. Both of my boys like that The Barbershop has male staff.... to quote my sons men know what men want in a cut :D Highly recommend!!!

Everyone does a great job. Great atmosphere. The only thing that would make this place better would be beer and bacon cheeseburgers.

Go see Mary or Ashley! They are great. They always do a wonderful job and we always have great conversation. Family friendly and military friendly.

Old school shop. Most of the staff have interesting banter. Its my goto place because Im set in my style and too old to change. But I have seen the guys doing a fair number of modern styles including fades , quiffs as well as old school high and tight and crewcuts. They also handle kids and teenagers pretty well.

Ive been going to these guys for my haircuts since I came to VA when I was 7 years old. They are not only friendly and likeable, they do great work on a consistent basis. I would highly recommend this barber to anybody who is looking for a good quality haircut with very fair rates.

My son and nephew both had their first hair cuts here. Brandon does a great job every time. The place is clean, the atmosphere is light and fun, and Brandon always gives the boys a great hair cut.

Ive been wearing a flat top for years. Was looking for a new barber. Guy I work with suggested this shop. Marc and Brandon both have cut my hair. They do a great job.

Brought my son in for a haircut first time to this barber shop. Barbers in shop seemed fine, they were prompt in getting him started. His haircut was ok. The biggest issue with his haircut was multiple razor burns on a 10 year old . The barber also nicked his ear twice and drew blood. I am not sure what level of training the barbers receive at this shop. Will go elsewhere next time.

The people there have an awesome sense of humor and create a fun atmosphere. The cut is top notch. It is slightly pricey say compared to Great Clips, but you are paying for a better cut.

I have been with Marc (The owner) for well over 10 years. When I first moved down here from NY I was looking for a barber who knew how to cut hair. Not only can Marc cut hair, but he has employed the best barbers and people who can handle people of all ages. Completely recommend this shop to anyone looking.

Amazing experience, I will return and bring my son!

I never write reviews, but it was so bad I just HAD to. I would give negative stars if I could. I don’t even remember the guys name who cut my son’s hair, I didn’t even get a receipt. He made it looks as if my 5 year old son had a receding hair line. It is clearly visible that he missed patches of hair on his forehead while lining him up, the back is completely uneven, and he didn’t even pick it out to cut it. My sons hair is thick, semi coarse, and very curly... this was truly a disappointment.

So why was Fred let go? What a shame to lose such a great barber that generated lots of customers for you. Karma is a bear fellas.Update: So Fred gets verbally abused and asked to step outside the Shop by a younger co-worker. Law enforcement and the Magistrate are involved. Fred survived a cardiac arrest years ago, is professional and a senior citizen. This entry is not intended to be hurtful, just helpful.

Usually when i go here it is out of convience because it’s close. I never go here for a great cut coes i wear a hat so i could care less. But Rico just gave me a haircut that was so good i might just not wear a hat tommorow

I stopped by on a whim yesterday. The young man with the chair closest to the doors was the only one without a customer, so I sat down. I asked to have it shortened up a bit and basic off the ears and out of the eyes. The only time I have had a worse haircut was when I tried to cut my own hair at 6 years old. It was uneven, the hair was not off the ears, and there was a divot in the right side. I left there and went to another place where they had to shave the sides down to make it even because of the divot in the right side. I pretty much ended up with a high and tight. I Talked to the shop this morning and the young man is in training. They were very apologetic and said that one of the other barbers would have cleaned it up if they had seen it or if I had said something then.

If your looking for a fade then I wouldnt recommend this place. As I read through the comments I see a lot of people are referring to a him/he an so far theres only been one man Ive seen working in this place..he told me he doesnt have his barbor license and hes best friends with the owners husband he cut my sons hair once an that was the last time. I asked for another lady who previously worked there an was told the cops had been looking for her on drug charges.The woman who owns this salon is a sweet heart though and I do think she can cut hair however I think she needs to weed that man out of her Barbor for a more professional cut and better reviews. The lady who owns this does cut hair nice but again she cant do it all on her own and she does make this place family friendly. It is a clean salon with a presentable setting.

So first off the owner and another person were talking about drugs (pot) right in front of my children. When asked to stop, they refused and gave me a hard time. They claimed their conversation was ok because pot isnt a bad drug. I still felt it wasnt appropriate because its still illegal and my 9 and 10 year old didnt need to hear that conversation.Then when the barber was told how I wanted my sons hair done, he proceeded to argue with me and then tell my son that he was going to look stupid with the hair cut I asked for. The barber then proceeded to just buzz cut my sons entire head, not even doing the style I requested.I will never use this barber again!!!!!

I just took my son for haircut before his picture day and I have to say he looks awesome. We will definitely come again, thanks

Took my son to get a high and tight. In my day a high and tight was barber 101, I wore one in the military and have had one ever since. The one my son got was the worst high and tight I have ever seen. It was so crooked that another barber shop had to just shave his head. Is it really this hard to find a real barber.
