Great service, professional and friendly. I made my appointment got there and got out..very fast..I recommend this place for your kids...unfortunately I didnt get the person who cut may babys hair..it was today Sunday morning ..I give her a 10 ..thank you very much.

Unfortunately my liking of this place has gone down hill. I was happy with the service until my appointment today was forcefully not met. I had an appointment at 530 for my two boys and when we drove our 45 minute drive to the business expecting to get their hair cuts, they left disappointed because a hand written notice of store hours was taped on the door for the week and they closed at 1:30.I confirmed my appt yesterday but NEVER got a call for a reschedule, early closing, notice of change … nothing! Very disappointed. I will find somewhere else to go.

We scheduled an appointment and got a confirmation email. We drove 45 minutes to get there with our 3 children. Arrived and the door was locked but open sign was on. No I’m answered the phone and no voicemail machine. No one showed up for our appointment. Extremely frustrated. This is absolutely unprofessional and just rude. Not even a note if there was an emergency. We will continue to give this place bad reviews and will not recommend.

Historically, my son has been a nightmare during haircuts...Im talking screaming and thrashing around like a horrible 80s horror movie (Hes FINALLY getting better), but all of the ladies at Mini Me have always been wonderful and SO patient with him. Theyve also tried to downplay it to make me feel better and have worked with me on making appointments during their non-busy times so hes not a disruption to other kids during peak times. Thats invaluable to a special needs mom. I highly recommend mini me for ALL kids!

My grandsons love having their hair cut here. Which is great since the 4 year old won’t let anyone but Thelma near his ears.

Our 3 year old was having a major meltdown about getting his hair cut but Dana was so so patient and understanding with him! I thought we were going to leave with the mop still on his head but she managed to get him groomed up even with all the tantruming! I was very impressive and grateful.

We took our 2 year old for her first haircut and it went amazingly well. Dana was super nice, patient, and accommodating and let our toddler choose which chair she wanted. They had a few TVs playing different kids cartoons as distractions. Ill be recommending this place to my other mom friends.

I have been a customer for years at Mini Me in Fredericksburg. Today, April 10, I had an appointment. I arrived earlier than my appointment time and was waiting for my son’s haircut. While we were waiting, and next to be served, a gentleman and his son walked in without an appointment. Neither of them were wearing a mask. That is their #1 rule posted on the door before you enter. None of the employees asked him to put on a mask. When it was my son’s turn for his haircut, they skipped him and took the man who walked in. We walked out and went to another location. Totally unprofessional business. I will not be returning with my kids. I definitely do not recommend coming to this location. We were lucky to find another place on a Saturday since we had an event today. Do not go to Mini Me in Fredericksburg and plan on being served if you have something important that day. They might skip you for someone else.

Got my sons first haircut there yesterday, and Im still crying over it. She did exactly what I asked her not to do, and cut all my sons hair off. Call it a miscommunication or whatever you like, but make sure you are CRYSTAL CLEAR on how you want your childs hair cut. The shop wasnt as cleanly as I would have hoped either. Overall, I am severely disappointed and wont be back 😔

Young Lady that cut my 1yo sons hair was great. Was very patient with him and even when my 4yo had a melt down she was cool and calm..I can see us going back..if they will have us.

My wife and I were very nervous as this was our sons first haircut and we had a specific style in mind. Karah was extremely accommodating and she did very well with our son. We loved the atmosphere for kids and will be going there again. Thank you Karah!

Well it looked like a nice place but when I called ahead I was told that they were busy and had to schedule an appointment. No worries, except when I got there not only was the place empty, but they didnt offer the services that I requested. It was just a simple wash and style. Even one of the employees recommended a different place.

We took my grandson for his very first hair cut. They did great with him since he is only 11 months. We got the package which was 25.00 and they gave us clippings of his hair took his picture and put it on a certificate with his name. They are really good with kids will go back for sure.

I took my son to get his first hair cut. He didnt even notice it was being cut! He was just thrilled to be sitting in Lightning Mcqueen and watching toddler sing-alongs. It probably helped that while we were waiting he expressed some energy playing kitchen and going down the slide. The stylist was very courteous and for us on between her appointments even though it was a busy day for school being out (MLK Jr. Day).

Today I took my 21 month old to get a hair cut. He hates getting a hair cut but Karen was so great with him. He didnt cry once and loved sitting in those little car chairs. I highly recommend this place!!!

Expensive hair cuts for kids but you’re paying for the environment. My kids love it. It’s makes getting haircuts fun they can sit in power wheel cars there’s a play house with a slide in the waiting area as well as toys. My kids are happy that’s what counts :)

Run!! Dont waste your time or money! Dont be fooled by the facade. It looks great and the kids have fun running around playing while they wait. But, the haircuts are horrible. I had two different stylists to cut my boys hair. They did everything opposite of what I requested. My boys beautiful long curly hair were ruined! After spending over $50 there, I had to pay another $30 to get them fixed at another salon! Never again!!

Great salon designed specifically for kids. I love how each station has a TV to keep anxious kids distracted. Plus the options for powerwheel chairs are awesome! Great selections of services offered too

Great job, great hair cut for 2 boys, fun play area, lots of cool cars for the kids to sit in. Gets a little busy, best to make an appointment, but the stand by wait time wasnt very long and plenty of things for the kids to do!

Dana is excellent

The atmosphere of the place is awesome. The have a playhouse and slide which is a great bargaining chip to use to get your child to stay still during their haircut. All of the stations have little cars for them to sit in and they have TVs for each child to watch while getting their hair done. So loads of distractions.

Not a very good place for a birthday party expensive not worth what you pay for

Never coming back here again. A young lady rushed my 4 year olds haircut. She was done within 5 minutes or less! She completely messed up my sons hair and my 4 year old has been saying the kids will laugh at him because of his haircut. The young lady laughed and smiled as I was telling her what I was angry about. No apology or anything. They lost a customer today.

Love this place. quick, painless, and super kid-friendly. My sons haircut was only $14.99. Cant beat that, especially when youre dealing with wiggly kiddos.

Way too expensive and not the cleanest place Ive ever been. Its a gimmick for kids to get their hair cut while sitting in a fun vehicle.

Best place for kids

If I could rate this 0 stars I would. First impression of this place was seeing a stylist stand right next to the door, smoking a cigarette without a care in the wold that we were tying to walk in with two toddlers. Once we got past the cloud of smoke, we got to to pay $45 for a crappy haircut and grumpy service. Please don’t use this place. It’s a great concept but terrible follow through.

Disappointed. I had to take my great nephew to another place to fix his fade. The Minnie Me employee took no care whatsoever when cutting his hair. One side of his hair was longer than the other, how is that done using guards?

I booked a birthday party here for my daughter. They put no effort into the party itself. I paid for the mani pedi party. The pedicure was just a cheap foot bath that they soaked their feet in for five minutes then the two ladies acted like they didnt know how to paint their toes. One of the women complained about having to sit in the floor. Then the manicure was just as bad. They did one coat of polish and that was it. I paid for pizza which was two medium bogo from Sams and Capri Sun. After the 15 minute mani and pedi the woman basically said ok you can have your pizza and cake now. They left and that was it. For the amount of money they want you to pay they should put some more effort into it. Its a total rip off. Dont have a party here. I wish I had just taken the girls to an actual salon. I wouldve saved some money.

I have been growing my sons hair out to the perfect length on top & weng here asked for a fade & edging on the side & for the top to be left. What does she do. She gives my son straight banges that looks like when a child cuts their own bangs & made his hair all one legnth. Idk who was more angry, my son or me. I could have done a oone length cut & better for free. Never again.

This place is to be avoided at all costs. We called and asked if they could handle African American hair thats thick. The Lady lied to my husband, they washed my daughters hair, then proceeded to try and cut her ends wet.....which is a huge no no, then she couldnt even blow dry it!!! I will never give them a single dime!!! If you cant do a certain hair type then just ADMIT IT!!!
