We had a great experience with Axe Tree pros. They were very professional, did a great job cleaning & pruning the 10 trees surrounding our property plus taking down a tree and grinding the stump. They were done with everything in just 2 days and they did a great job cleaning up. Would definitely use them again!

I found Jeremiah through an ad in the Frederick News Post and immediately liked his company because he was very responsive and easy to talk to. My property management company used Axe Tree Pros to take down a giant dead standing pine in Washington DC that required a 125 foot articulated boom lift. He arranged the rental, met with the delivery driver and with the neighboring apartment building to discuss details. He also thoroughly went through all of the options for wood disposal, which DC makes very difficult. Basically made it very easy on my end. We ended up having him prune all of the crape myrtles on the property during the same job, and they looked better then they have in years.We have since brought him back for personal jobs on my own property near Frederick to trim 80 year old Black Walnut trees and remove some weed trees. He removed about 7 large stumps for my dad and in Washington DC. He also planted 10 burlapped dogwoods at my dads house. His team works excellent together and they have well maintained equipment. They are not afraid of a challenge and they definitely do not hack up trees. His pricing is accurate and upfront, nothing is unclear when dealing with these guys!

Jeremiah and his Foreman Rodney were great. Got the 45 trees removed from my property with little hassle. When minor things did come up, Jeremiah was quick to respond and preform corrective action. Called Axe to take down 4 very dead very big trees very close to my house and an outbuilding. They came out quickly to give me an estimate and even tried to find ways to save me money on the project. Do yourself a favor and hire Axe Tree Pros to take care of your tree related needs. I was contacted by Jeramiah within a couple of hours of sending a request for service. He met with me the next day to survey the job and give me a cost quote and date that the crew could complete the work. He and and the crew are absolutely fantastic and were even able to get me worked into their schedule a full week ahead of the initial quote. I needed a couple of large trees removed and another tree trimmed. All were very near the bank and extended out over a river. The crew were not only able to cut and trim everything perfectly but were also able to retrieve and dispose of the limbs and trunks leaving nothing in the river. All of this was accomplished without any damage or disturbance to the floating docks surrounding our property. I could not be happier with the service. Almost a year ago today, I contacted Axe Tree Pros to come out for Yard cleanup, Mulching, Shrubs pruning, Tree trimming and removal. Jery came out, assessed the project, gave me some recommendations and an estimate. A week or so later him and his team came out and did a fantastic job. The job actually encouraged my neighbors to get some work done on their property. Of course I gave them Jerys contact information. AXE TREE PROS - LOOK NO FURTHER!We contacted Axe Tree Pros after having poor results with other local tree services, no return calls, no follow up with estimates, etc. We originally wanted 7 trees removed and 15 stumps ground away. Jeremiah returned my call within a few hours and was very responsive and down to earth. He answered all my questions and provided me information to consider when removing trees, stumps and general landscaping tips. Within a few days, he surveyed my property, provided a very reasonable estimate and scheduled the service to commence within a week, weather permitting.His crew was very respectful, worked quietly, efficiently and professionally. In addition to the 7 trees and 15 stumps we agreed upon, he removed 3 additional trees, 1 additional stump and trimmed several branches from the remaining 3 trees in our lawn with no extra charge. Axe Pros were at my neighbors taking down a big tree. Great job done there. I have a big tree in my front yard what needed trimming back, so I ask the owner what he would charge for it. He gave me a very good price right then and there (I had estimates from few others way higher). They came to the site and discussed how much it would cost to remove the tree and also a plan for the surrounding area (which I hadnt considered).They were experienced and offered excellent advice to help us maintain good drainage after the tree was removed. They were super careful during removal due to the proximity of the tree to a neighboring fence. They were also very professional and respectful. My property was left neat and there were no surprises. We hired Axe Tree Pros after reading the great reviews and were not disappointed. Jason came out almost immediately to provide us a quote and fit us in quickly as we were on a tight timeframe. We had a lovely Bradford Pear. Some large branches fell on our front yard. We called 3 businesses. I called these folks and the owner answered the phone. The others didnt even call back that day. He came out and advised us to have the whole tree taken down, and showed us the problems with the tree. At that point it was more danger to a neighbor than to us. A crew came out the very next day and took care of everything for us. This is the company to use, without a doubt.

This is the second time we hired Axe Tree Pro. The first time he trimmed the trees on our property and they looked wonderful. Jason not only trimmed them, he shaped them as well. Amazing! This time we had a number of trees that were damaged and one HUGE Ash that was dying. It was so big it took three people holding hands to reach around the trunk. Jason and his team did a great job cutting the trees in the front, back, and side yards; grinding the stumps; adding soil and seed to the resulting bare spots; and trimming/shaping other select trees. When he left everything was cleaned up,and hauled away. The next time we need work done we won’t hesitate to call Axe Tree Pro. Jason and his team are the best!
