This is the 2nd time we have used Superior Auto Services. Both of our experiences were fantastic. The repairs were done on time and for a reasonable price. The communication from the shop was the best I have ever experienced at an auto shop. Dave was great to work with, and explained everything clearly. I scheduled my oil change and tire rotation for my truck and all work was efficient and done in a timely manner while I waited. nice waiting area, too.

Dave, Rob and team did a great job on my car. They are upfront and honest about what needs to be done but they will qualify if it’s an emergency or if it can wait.Expecting to have to get both axles new brakes I was happy to only have the rear done and the front serviced.Hats off to these guys for doing it the right way.

Ive been taking my vehicles to Superior Auto for years. Rob, Dave and the team have always been professional, honest and fair. Its a nice feeling being able to trust the people working on your vehicles knowing the jobs gonna be done right.

This shop is run by people with integrity. They were honest about what problems my car had and what needed to be addressed soon without trying to push me to buy a lot of extra stuff I didnt need. When they installed a new radiator that was defective I got a refund on it and they were able to send it in to the manufacturer for its warranty.

My check engine light came on after an oil change. It was Cam shaft sensor that was effecting my car losing power and dieing. Not good. They were honest about time it would take. They had it done when they said and customer service was outstanding. I will be going back to superior Auto service for all my future oil changes and maintenance as well as major repairs. I had a warranty They found it and took off what I didnt have to pay and I was very happy all around. Must mention Rob at the front. He was outstanding

This company is excellent. They do a great job of explaining what needs to be repaired immediately and what can wait. They set accurate expectations on when yout vehicle is ready. They remember who you are, and are always friendly.

They worked with my warranty company, made repairs, dropped me off and even did an oil change I added last minute whilst still completing the work in a day! Im new to Frederick, and I needed to replace the tires on my Tesla. I bought the tires--as I always do--from tirerack.com. When I opted for drop shipment at a nearby installers location, tirerack recommended Superior. I was not disappointed. It was easy to make an appointment, they had the Tesla pucks needed to properly lift my car, and the job went well. Even though I snagged a ride home from family, I did check out the waiting room and found it to be clean and relatively comfortable. It wasnt an inexpensive service, but Im more concerned about quality than price, so I was pleased.

I always feel comfortable bringing my Jeep to Superior and no longer dread oil changes. The staff is friendly and communicate the recommended services to you without the pressure I’ve felt from some other shops/dealerships. I’ve been able to knock out services when I (and my wallet) am ready. They send you a link with your courtesy inspection results, which I get a kick out of every time. I’m going to attempt to replace my engine air filter and Rob gave me some tips on that and even offered to assist over the phone if needed. The customer service is top notch. Appreciate you all!

This is the second time I have used Superior Auto in Frederick MD. Clean shop and very professional. Provided a detailed report of maintenance due on my car and worked with me to address the main concerns I had. A trusted mechanic is hard to find and I trust this shop and will be returning for service.

Im from our of town and needed an oil change. My daughter Lyndsay Davis uses them on a regular basis and referred me to them.They got me in right away. The staff was so friendly and helpful and they didnt charge me an arm and leg!Highly recommend!!

Provided all the parts for a brake upgrade and feel I got overcharged for labor. It was a straight remove and replace calipers pads rotors and brake line hoses. Labor charge was 300+ per axle. Then they added charges they couldn’t explain when I questioned it. Work was done correctly, but really gouged the customer on labor charges.

Much has been done to keep my 2010 Jeep Grand Cherokee in shape. This time it was lights. These guys are great for the professional manner they go about the repair process . They really do a quality job which helps with trust. With points earned it helps on future repairs so value is also important.

Since relocating to the Frederick area in 2011, Ive had nearly all of my cars serviced at Superior. Theyre honest, proficient, accommodating, personable, all-around great place w/ great people working there. Theyre reliable: they say what they mean and they mean what they say. All services are performed only once; no repeat visits ever. Did I say theyre friendly people working there? If you need a ride to/from when your car is serviced, theyll provide transportation (if its possible at the time). Youll never regret having Superior in your corner.

Its easy to get an appointment and they communicate well about your car needs. They also send pictures so you can see! We have always been happy with their customer service!

Rob took care of all the warranty stuff, helped me setup the transfer tow to the Dar Cars Kia for an engine recall. He kept up great communication during the service, explained everything to me, as this was my first time for either warranty work or recall. I will bring my other car to them in the near future for a tuneup.

They got me in quickly when I had a problem with squirrels getting under my hood and causing some damage. They repaired it same day. They offered me a ride! The cost was very reasonable. I am highly impressed with the professionalism of everyone at Superior Auto Service. I took my car for a brake inspection a few years ago and they did a fantastic job with my car. I took a second car a few weeks ago, they did the inspection but I decided not to go ahead with the repairs this car needed since I was going to get a new one soon. I wanted to pay for the inspection service but they did it free of charge and did not allow me to pay for their time. I really appreciate their superb customer service. I won;t hesitate to continue taking my cars to this honest, reliable business.

We called Superior Auto Service Center because the car was over heating and I could see the car leaking antifreeze. They told me I could bring the car right away. When I arriveD the place was empty. I tried to explain to the guy what is wrong and where I saw the leak. He told me not worry about it because they are experts at fixing cars. After 45 min he came back and told me they need to replace the thermostat housing and it will cost at least $500 to replace it with the labor. I told him to give me a second. I looked online and the part was $70. I could not believe it will cost over $400 in labor so I refused the service and he charged me $25 for the diagnosis. I did some research and found a different mechanic. They took the car the next day. After a few hours they called and said one of the hose clamps was rusted and another was broken. They replaced them and only charged $67. No leaks or overheating since. The Superior Auto Service Center personnel was either not that expert or they tried to clip me for at least $500 for nothing.

I have been going to Superior Auto Center for about 3 years. I always used to go the dealer but not only were they expensive, it was hard to get an appointment. Once I started going to Superior I never turned back. I know the team, they take good care of my car and I feel confident that they look at everything in the car and make recommendations on what I need to get done now or in the future. I had an engine issue that was hard to determine in my 2009 Honda pilot. I had taken it to a few other places and no other place caught it. The last place I paid $1,000 in repairs, some for other items but theyre answer was to keep a watch on it and replace a serpentine belt and flush the coolant. Superior immediately knew something else was wrong and took the time to dig into the issue and explain everything very clearly to me. Im very happy with the repairs and will be going here from now on. Thanks so much again for all your help. Im now able to keep my old car on the road longer.

I have been taking all my vehicles to Superior for years. Ive always found their work to be first-class in every way. Their service advisors are knowledgeable and most helpful. Ive never had a complaint or concern with any work theyve done for me from oil changes to major work on the suspension, brakes and more. And I trust them. I never feel Im being asked or pressured to do work that is marginal or unnecessary. If they tell me work is needed, I know its needed. I give Superior Auto Service Center my highest rating and would recommend them to everyone who wants top quality work, done very well at a fair price.

I have been using Superior Auto Service for 7-8 years for my German cars. Easily the best independent shop in western MD. I have sent several friends to this shop. Fair, patient, knowledgeable, friendly and honest people at the front desk and master-level technicians in the shop. Pride of work shows in every facet of this business. 6-stars!

The oil change is too expensive, the highest price countrywide. Ive paid $100 for 6qt of oil, which is almost two times greater than regular retail cost. Not recommended.

Super great! First time meeting Dave and Rob the owner. Rob happened to be heading out when I had my car serviced and offered me a ride home (I live about 10 min. away. He helped me bring about 8 suitcases of work stuff home too! Definitely spent less here than I would’ve at my last auto shop.

Honesty is what I look for in Auto service. Look no further. I had my car at the dealership for a tire change and they give me an estimate for $2100 of additional work that needs done. I brought my car to Superior and found out that not only did I not need that work done but it was something completely different and less than $300. Great job Superior keep up the Honest work.

I just want to say that Superior Auto Services are awesome! They have a great professional team. They always greet you with a smile and work around your schedule. Usually it is the same day service. One time I was there I was having a problem with my Subaru acting like it wanted to shut off but not all the time. They drove the car 13 miles before it would act up. How many auto services would do that.? Probably zero to one. I highly recommend them to anyone!! I will never take my car anywhere else. Also they were highly recommended to me. After living in the Frederick area for several years I was happy to find Superior! I was coming off an experience where getting my oil changed at a high volume oil change business didnt tell me I needed an alignment and had to purchase a new set of tires prematurely. Superior has great customer service. I really appreciate the time they spend explaining repairs and repair options. I appreciate and use their shuttle service. I appreciate that they are a full service shop and can take care of any repairs my cars need. The only small nit I have is that their price on parts can be a bit high. I also appreciate that their price for an oil change/tire rotation is reasonable- thats big for me!

These guys rock. Recently I started my car (while parked in the garage) and it was leaking fuel. Then, died on me. After calling these guys, within two hours they arranged to have the car towed and by that afternoon provided me with an update. The next morning they called with an estimate for the repairs. Ironically, this happened the DAY BEFORE I left for vacation. Not only did they provide amazing service from the very beginning, but they took care of the repairs and the car was ready for pickup upon my return. This gave me peace of mind while I was away. They even came to my house to pick me up to get my car when I returned! Reasonable prices for work performed (replaced fuel filter, PCV valve, etc.) and the cars been running smoothly ever since. So happy with Superior and highly recommend them.

Absolutely the Best! Superior and the team is like family, trustworthy, a clean shop and a pleasure to work with. As a single lady, choosing a good mechanic can be daunting. I dont even want to take my truck anywhere else. The guys at Superior drove my vehicle with me and listened for problems. They described the problem to me so that I could really understand, and their service was fast! They will help with regular maintenance so I wont have to worry about missing important upkeep. They really are SUPERIOR!

Dishonest, and when you really need the most help, they will get you. At first they were great! The one time I actually had an issue, they took me for such an expensive, unnecessary ride. I brought the bill and work receipt to a different mechanic, who apologized for laughing and even showed his associate; neither could understand why Superior did what they did for the problem I was having. Not to mention, this new mechanic told me its not even worth to change out the whole part, which Superior also offered to do for even more money, since its an issue with how the car was built and would eventually have the same problem. So not only did they take advantage of me, this showed me their workers werent as competent to not have told me that same thing.

I’ve been coming to Superior for 7 years with my two cars, a Prius and a Highlander and can not recommend them more highly.Service is always top notch and never any “surprises” when in for routine service resulting in upcharges or unexpected problems.The quality of the work by the mechanics is excellent. I’ve NEVER had to return for follow up repairs due to inadequate initial work/repairs.Also, the team in the front office couldn’t be friendlier or more pleasant or helpful. They are so helpful with scheduling, including offering loaner vehicles or rides home when I can’t stay with the vehicle.

I have been with Superior for 3 years with my 2001 Jeep. They do all my work and I am 100% satisfied with they work and I like the way Im treated, not like a customer but a good friend. They show me what is wrong so I dont have to take their word for it. If I need a ride home or be picked up to get my car they are there for me. I think Ill be with them for many more years.

Excellent shop, highly recommend. I went into the shop on MLK day around 10:30am to inquire about having an aftermarket exhaust I had purchased installed. They said as long as everything lines up and no issues, 1 hour labor, they scheduled me for the next day.Next day I dropped it off in the morning and picked it up at the end of the day, same price I was told 1 hour of labor.These guys did a great job and were able to fit in my exhaust without needing to wait a long time for an appointment.They also have a shuttle service that dropped me off at work and picked me up when the car was ready.I know where I will go when I have other automotive needs, go there with confidence.

I got personalized service. I dropped my car off and they provided me transportation back to my aunts house because I was helping to get the unpacking done and the rooms organized. When my car was finished, I got a call stating that someone was on the way to pick me up to bring me back to the shop. They treated me with respect and did good work on my car. I would recommend Superior Auto in Frederick, MD. Rob Taggert is one of the gentlemen who provided me with transportation to and from the shop to my aunts house. And the guys at the front desk actually took the time to explain what was needed, what could wait and what was actually done per my request (I used to drive tow trucks and used to work on cars as a hobby, nothing major, but I knew enough about cars (especially my car and how it was supposed to be driving), that I knew I wasnt getting fed a line of bull. There are mechanic shops who do take advantage of people who dont know anything about cars or what certain parts do for which part of the car. Because I grew up around mechanics and tow truck drivers and tractor-trailer drivers, I made it a habit of always asking questions about the mechanics of any vehicle and what to look out for when taking my car to a mechanic shop that way I wouldnt get taken advantage of. 5 stars for being honest, respectful, kind and tolerant whenever I asked questions about what they said they needed to, as well as asking just how urgently did any particular thing need to be fixed or replaced due to my finances.
