Jessie did an exceptional job! He realized I was a Blackhawks Fan and he was sporting a Bolts Lid, I congratulated him on Cup #2 and we talked hockey while he gave me my cut. (My Hawks did win #3 against his up n coming Lightning team ;-) I was paying upwards of $50 before at a salon with tip, so an $18 haircut and $12 tip saves me $20, plus, it’s 1 mile from my home. I will be using Carson’s Barber Shop moving forward & utilizing Jessie’s skills as a barber and get to talk hockey with a knowledgeable fan. Well done Jessie! I highly recommend Carson’s if they all deliver like he did! Kudos!

I just received probably the worst haircut of my life here. Not only was it rushed but i showed a picture of what i wanted and it looks nothing like it. Very uneven too. I should have listened to the very few bad reviews instead of the good ones

I have been going to Carsons for several years and have always had a great experience. Elizabeth is spot on every time. I love the environment, the price, but above all the cut I get each and every time. To add to that Angie is a joy as well and gives back to the community every Christmas taking care of less than fortunate kids and the elderly. An all around great place!

Weve been coming to see Ms. Elizabeth at Carsons for years. She always does a great job with my sons hair. Even when he was a squirming toddler who cried throughout his haircuts, she was calm and patient and did a great job every time. I appreciate how she gives her full attention and never rushes us, even with a waiting room of clients (which also speaks volumes about the great job everyone at Carsons does). Were happy to have found our place to go and will be lifetime customers!

I’ve been bringing my 6 year old son here for a couple of years now and i wouldn’t even consider taking him any where else! Elizabeth is our go to and always does a wonderful job, but so does every one there! Cannot recommend this place enough! Also.. support local business!

It must have been an off day when I went for my cut because based on my experience I don’t understand the 4.9 rating, maybe the lower Yelp is more accurate. I was left completely underwhelmed. I had difficulty distinguishing if I was in a barber shop or a day care? My barber was not talkative or friendly and was very rushed. I was in and out of the chair n 10 min. Even after explaining how my hair was very long and how long it’s been since my last cut, she barely touched the top. The sides and back were cleaned up, but the top was left long and uneven giving it the appearance that I didn’t even get a haircut. With three interviews approaching I had high hopes for this place, unfortunately it fell way short leaving me self conscience about my hair for the upcoming interviews. I should have said something while I was still in the chair but with only one barber working and four people waiting and feeling rushed I felt bad and was really anxious to leave. Perhaps the other two barbers there are better??? In any case, I’m now left to find someone who can fix it.

Carson’s always does a good job no matter who cuts my hair. I usually get Elizabeth or Angie because I’m always early, but it really doesn’t matter who you get they’re all good. They are also pretty quick and the price is very reasonable.

I can’t say enough good things about this place! Awesome atmosphere and very very good customer service. They found a way to make it very child friendly while still being able to feel like an adult while getting your own haircut. My 3 year old enjoys going here and looks like a stud afterward. He gets to sit in a fire truck seat while they cut his hair with patience and skill. After he is done they have ample toys to keep him occupied while I get my hair cut. Every time I go my haircut is consistent. It’s the only place I’ve gone to that I don’t have the “I’ll like it in a few days” feeling when I leave.

Carson’s is AMAZING!!! My husband gets his hair cut by Elizabeth and she always does a great job. All staff are kind and professional, and will give you a great hair cut at a fair price. It’s also fun for kids! They have a car that kids can sit in while getting their hair cut and they can watch movies. Totally recommend going here!

Carsons Barber Shop is wonderful. The staff are friendly and efficient and prices are reasonable. My boys dont mind going to get their hair cut. My husband who is very particular about how his hair is cut also goes to Carsons.

I took my 15 month old for his first haircut. They did so great with him. He didnt cry or fuss the whole time. They made him such a cute, handsome little man. I highly recommend.

Having cut the hair of old men for years, this place has no problem with modern variations on classic styles.Dont be alarmed by the lack of a receptionist. There are only two seats and the ladies know who came in first. Get a quality cut for half the price of Nashvilles sleek salons in this comfortable, homegrown atmosphere.

My three year old loves getting his haircut in the fireman truck. Angie makes it super easy and on all of us. There is a nice waiting room with toys and checkers and We have never had a problem with the wait time.
