The cashier was given $2 for the total of $1.25. Afterwards I gave him an extra quarter and he looked confused. He wanted to only give me the $.75 cents back and didnt want to give me the $1.00 I could have got if he just took the other quarter. The story is dont confused this guy at Dollar General.

A basic Dollar General. The workers are super nice and very helpful...This Dollar General keeps the shopping carts outside and locked down. So, you basically can only use the little yellow baskets to shop.

Just pulled up to this store. (8:25 pm), the Web and the sign on the store showed they close at 9. As we pulled up a customer was walking out and the lady working locked the door, even though she saw us. I looked at a little homemade sign which read sorry were closed will open at 8 am. Why are these workers closing franchises down prior to closing.

I love DG, its one of my faves for deals. Theyve got coupons on their app, always, for whatever you want to buy and even when stretching the buck, their $1/Clearance aisle is like no other (in my opinion). It includes everything. I mean toys, laundry soap, detergent, wipes, baby stuff, hair stuff, sanitizer, movies, food, health stuff, beauty stuff literally you will find just about anything in this aisle annnndddd every DG has it and may have different items.This is my first time at this one though since I was in the area. 1 star is missing because the line was so long, it went through one of the middle aisles and then once I got up to checkout, I noticed the line had stopped going down the aisle but was now wrapped around and reached the entrance/exit door. I had an issue with some clearance items (yep smh it was me that held up the line). However, Management was able to resolve it quickly while also teaching the young lady (it appeared that she was a new worker) regarding DG policy. I loved that when she was unsure of something, instead of doing what she thought would fly or what other workers had apparently told her previously, she called the Manager to ensure accuracy. She was polite and never showed any signs of being frustrated (as we all know some people in customer services positions do display this sometimes). As a result of this encounter, I definitely would return to this location for any of my household needs.

Saturday 2/27/2021 at about 3:40p. Sign post on door stating that store will close at 8p due to staffing shortage but of course the doors are locked. This is not the first time this has happened. If your going to close earlier than your first posted sign, then update it for people to know.

This was the most cluttered store of any Id been in. Things were amuck everywhere. It was not clean nor easy to maneuver through Ashby part of the store. The customers were brash, yet the staff was somewhat pleasant. Not a place Id return, even if it were the closest (Which it isnt).

The lady that helped me was the best. She was so nice and humorous. She did everything she could to help me. She deserves a promotion

Still confused to as why only one door is unlocked for customers. Makes it hard to get out with the cart when u have to go OUT THE SPECIFIED ENTRANCE DOOR WHEN RHW DOORS ARENT AUTOMATED

If I could put 0 stars I would. I was trying to put some money on a card and it wouldn’t go through. But the cashier tried to short me on the cash I came in with and tried to steal from me. Overall, she should be fired.

Super cluttered with boxes of product to be put on shelves. Couldnt reach some products I wanted to I just abandoned purchasing the items.

This store is a hot, unorganized, cluttered mess! Finding items while maneuvering around other customers and all the random items in the aisles was such a challenge. Almost none of the customers were wearing masks or following social distancing, which isn’t surprising considering the two ladies working were also not wearing masks. The employees were friendly, but the fact that they were not wearing masks while getting close to customers was honestly scary. I don’t think I’ll be going back to this store even though it’s close to my house.

Drinks are good but the pepperoni is greasy.

Always a place to find things are great prices. I got flower pots and potting soil yesterday. The staff is also very helpful there as well.

Dollar General is a great place to pick up everyday household items. This location, like the rest, has an assortment of items like cleaning supplies, food items, health and beauty aids, clothing and many other products that you use on a daily basis; most reasonably priced.

This store needs to close down. Most of the employees are lazy and incompetent. The store has been closing early which waste my time and gas so Ive decided not to shop there anymore.

Rather than ask another employee or put effort into looking a cashier stated that they were out of ice because she couldnt remember the code to ring it up. Checked ice chest on way out, it was completely full. A manger on his smoke break ended up giving me the bag of ice. Apparently, according to him, this was the 4th time that day that she had done this.

Fire everybody. It is painfully obvious that this location lacks leadership. The store is always cluttered with boxes, shelves never get restocked, and to top it off now they are closing early. Seriously what was the point of remodeling if you were just gonna let this be the end result.

Doors are locked at 8, sign and listing says closes at 9. Lazy staff cant even stick around till closing time.
