The staff members are professional and always available to assist if needed. They are constantly cleaning the equipment and floors. Everyone at this facility uses the sanitation station for the equipment and stays masked. It’s a friendly place to exercise even though you would rather be somewhere else.

Its a basic planet fitness, the gym has what you need for a good workout. I pay for the black membership and I think the black area is fine. I wish they would wipe up more frequently. The paper towels are extremely cheap and break when I pull them from the containers so I can wipe down the areas I use, which is slightly frustrating. I can tell sometimes no one goes after me to clean because its the way I left it a day or two ago. I like the planet fitness app feature that shows you how full the gym is, but it doesnt always help to determine which area of the gym is full i.e. cardio machines or weights. Im happy with the staff and parking here and its a perfect location, right off the highway.*update-response to planet fitness response......NOT my job to talk to the staff.

Fort Washington PF is about 25 minutes away from my local PF gym. I chose to make Fort Washington PF my home gym because it is simply much better. The staff is always welcoming and very professional. All of the equipment is always operational and the gym is spacious enough for everyone is enjoy their workouts without stepping on top of anyone else. 10 out of 10 in my opinion. 👍🏽

This Fitness Center/Ft Washington, MD is only six blocks from my home. Im a Black Card holder and the Customer Service is friendly and pleasant. This GYM have plenty of exercise equipment to choose from and YES they stay crowded with customers from different areas. The atmosphere 👌 even when Different Races come together ❤ to workout!😊

By far the best Planet Fitness I have attended. A very clean establishment with very friendly and community-oriented employees who remember your name and show special attention.

Unlike the other planet fitness, the team of employees at the fort Washington location are rude and not a group of people you want to be around in the morning. They take the mask rule over board revealing their control issues as they follow you in the locker room and to your workout stations, as your taking a drink or bending over barely breathing, theyre there threatening your stay at the gym if you dont pull your mask up. I will NOT be returning to this location and they almost make me want to change gyms.

Wearing a mask the entire time you work out? No thanks! I’d rather work out outside and get some fresh air, then to suffocate working out here. Guess the 6ft and closing down the machines weren’t enough. I really like pf but this policy is ridiculous. Wont be back.

I would have given a five star rating if it wasnt for the firm time limit of 10 min usage of the hydro massage beds. When the gym is busy and all the melassage beds are in full use and there is a wait to use, a time limit of 10 min is understandable, but when such circumstances do not exist, the time limit should be flexible, say for 15 min. I dont think thats an unreasonable expectation.

I like working out here. COVID has slowed down my workout pace, but the gym has always been clean when I went and the machines are spaced out so you are not too close to another person. Staff has always been friendly and helpful when I needed it.

I came to the gym for the first time last week around 5 pm and instantly was greeted by a nice gentleman. I can’t remember his name but I believe he had a spanish accent? The employee told me about all of the benefits and how this location is ensuring that each customer can guarantee that this facility is doing everything in their power to make sure the building is covid free safe and safe to workout out

This is my home gym and I definitely love the cleanse and clean the gym is both on the workout floor and restrooms. I’ve never had a bad experience with staff and I’ve been coming to this (on and off again) for 3-4 years now.

Ro was very helpful. She was thorough in explaining how the basic membership worked and even gave me a tour around the gym. She was very friendly and open to any questions I had. I was very pleased with her outstanding customer service. I’ve been to many gym’s and never received that kind of service. She gave me an experience everyone should have walking into planet fitness.

The front desk folks are pleasant, the recently revamped equipment allows you to accomplish whatever you need to do, the more-than-tolerable price point is easily worth it because of all the new equipment. Im yet to see it busy, let alone overloaded. Lots of new stuff. Lots of space. Inexpensive. No frills. Only thing we could use: towels. That of course changes cost, though.

This Planet Fitness is convenient for me, the staff is really nice and welcoming and it doesn’t get too crowded, at least the times that I go to workout. I recommend the Black PF card since you get way more perks and free classes!

I have been attending this PF for the last year and a half. The old pictures do not do this PF Fort Washington justice. The place has been renovated over the last year and it is an awesome place to work out at. All the equipment is brand new and the place is very clean. The stuff are always friendly and Rick one of the PF Managers is always ready to listen to the clients or customers concerns. I always enjoy my workout here at FT Washington PF. Like all places have their peek hours so I prefer to go real early in the morning and have the gym all to myself.

Five star improvements. So much SPACE! And they kept some of the old school bodybuilding equipment. Very, very cool. Much much much improved. Room to stretch, room for plyo, room for every kind of workout. Staff seems much happier to have a clean fresh start. Heavier dumbbells would be really nice though. Only goes up to 60 but Ill take it!

I’ve been a member of Planet Fitness since it first opened at this location and I’ve had pleasant experiences with all staff members. Particularly Ro, she is always patient and takes time to assist me if I need additional equipment (ie. neck pad for the smith machine) or if I have a question about services, benefits, or upcoming promotional events. She greets customers with a smile and takes time to personalize her greetings.

Glad Planet Fitness is in my neighborhood! Out of all the PF Gyms I have visited I enjoy Fort Washington Planet Fitness. Your evening front desk staff are always very polite and friendly, the cleanness of the gym and the locker room, to top it off the NEW equipment makes it more pleasant to workout. I love this planet fitness! the employees/trainers have been overly helpful with my plethora of questions. working out is a self-care treatment for me. the many machines, massage/tanning booths really help me stay consistent. no matter how long or short of a day ive had, PF is where i am. home is where the heart is, right?

I recently joined this club, after one week I think it is a nice environment. I workout a lot and really enjoy the large space in this location. I never feel crowded or pressured while I am lifting. While I do not often partake in cardio machines, they have a wide variety of various cardio machines to choose from. My only complaint is there are no squat racks here. I’m not sure if that is a PF policy or just this location, but it’s a big minus in my eyes. I’m month to month and will probably stop when it gets to spring time due to the squat rack issue. Overall, good location though.

The friendliness and the I am here to help you makes working out enjoyable. I particularly am impressed by the thoughtfulness and personable greetings by the staff. They are sparkling gems.

I really enjoy working out at the Fort Washington PF. The staff is friendly, helpful and personable. The manager, Rick, is accessible. He is often at the front desk, walking around the gym or observing classes. The trainer, Russel, is flexible, patient, and very knowledgeable on fat burning, strengthening, and muscle building. He makes the classes fun and challenging. I highly recommend this gym.

Not enough equipment to accommodate everyone. Would be nice if they added heavier dumb bells (100lbs), and flat bench presses. Less tanning machines, more massage chairs or beds.

This is a great location. Since PF took over, the site has changed dramatically with more lighting, cleaner, and updated locker room facilities. The staff is friendly and very customer-service oriented. Everyone smiles when you come in the door and that makes a difference. This is a tough time for everyone and I haven’t been to the gym regularly since Covid but it has nothing to do with the staff. They work hard and I’ve kept my membership because I want the gym to succeed. I will be back regularly after vaccinations. Keep it up. Love it!

I’ve been coming to this gym ever since I’ve moved to Southern MD. Occasionally, I go over to the one in Waldorf when I have to, but this one is my favorite because: Ro and the other associates (sorry I don’t know your names) are absolutely amazing; I walk in and they smile, greet you, and make you feel welcomed; occasionally give you a few giggles lol; and, it is very well maintained.

Very clean, customer service 🤔 just kidding very friendly staff. Signed up in January 2019 and have been very pleased. Even signed my mother and one of neighbors - they enjoy the gym classes

Worst experience ever, the lady behind the front desk acted as if I was bothering her (since it was my first time, she had to locate my membership, take my pic, etc)... she had such an awful attitude. I am mad I choose the year membership plan. I NEVER WANT TO GO BACK TO THAT PLACE. She didnt give me ANY information, no tour was given, I asked her where a class was and she looked at me like I was stupid and just pointed. I cant believe it.

One of the better Planet Fitnesses around. It has quite a bit of cardio equipment, and a good amount of weight machines. This PF was converted from a previous gym called Fitness Evolution and they brought in all new stuff including the dressing rooms.and bathrooms. They remodeled the whole place. Its clean.

Staff was accommodating & pleasant

I have yet to meet one person, staff and other gym goers alike, who I didnt like. Everyone is very friendly, positive, and supportive. The music is a good volume, with a wide variety of good tunes to listen to while working out. Facility is clean, and for the most part everyone is good about wiping down equipment. There is a lot of equipment, especially cardio machines. I go during a calm part of the day, between 9 am - 1130 am, since its not very congested and theres not much vying for a bench or machine. The hydromassage equipment in the back is also a huge bonus! The price is also pretty low considering everything thats included in the blackcard--totally worth it.

I am only giving 1 star regarding my most recent interaction with a less than friendly staff member. Normally, I would give 5 stars....Normally, the staff provides exceptional customer service. When I come in, they normally greet me with a smile and a hello, and tell me to have a good workout. This past Saturday September 13th, a young lady by the name of Ro was behind the counter. She did not greet me; she did not smile and when I said hello, she did not say anything back. I hope she will be reprimanded accordingly. This should be unacceptable.

This Planet Fitness location is wonderful! They’ve recently completed a renovation and added a lot of new machines. The full workout I was achieving to achieve before just got even better! I am very upset as it was my very first time coming to planet fitness, and I was told that I would feel welcomed and shown around to get familiar with the equipment. I walked in, and the guy was currently talking to a customer and told me he was the only one at the desk, and that he’d help me as soon as he was done with his customer and that it’ll be 10-15min. So I’m a patient understanding person, I stood and waited for a while, 40-50min goes by, he’s laughing and carrying on with other people. I eventually “tried” to give myself my own tour, then gave up because it was foolish and I was looking lost so I started to walk out as he’s sitting at a resting table relaxing conversing with people then he says “thank you for coming”. I just left before I caused a scene, but I’m very upset I just had such a horrible experience and didn’t feel welcome at all and I felt ignored or forgotten.

Pro: Great environment and friendly staff! Con: 1. During the summer months, the air condition should be turned on or up, as it is uncomfortably hot after only 5 minutes of working out. The gym should consider adding large ceiling fans like some of the other Planet Fitness gyms. 2. The workout classes are only 30 minutes long and the classes do not always start on time. Therefore some classes are cut short due to the late start time.

So I recently join the gym black card membership, but I regret it so much, Thanks to the staff here. They have lack customer service and today 11/11/19 at 9PM my mother and I welt discriminated by two staff ( Roe and Amare dont know if thats the name because they didnt had no name tags) I wish I would never had join this gym.

I love the atmosphere and setup. The guys at the front desk are great, personable and welcoming. Whenever I cant get there for whatever reason, I miss them. They make my journey easy.

Personally, I prefer this location over the Waldorf (Market Place) location. The stairstepper is my go to machine and this gym has 6, whereas the Waldorf one has only 2. This location also feels less congested to me, everything seems to be a little more spread out; in my opinion, the layout flows much better than the Waldorf location. Although, I do have to say, the staff at both gyms have been very kind and knowledgeable - never had any issues there. Overall this gym is well worth the price, and their whole no gymtimidation aspect makes this the perfect gym for beginners! (The Pizza Monday, and Bagel Tuesday (first and second Monday/Tuesday of each month) is also a nice little treat for their members! Just remember, moderation is key!)

I have been a member here since before it became planet fitness and the improvements made are fantastic. The equipment is great and the locker rooms are clean.Daquan and all of the other members of the team are super friendly and always greet you with a smile.

The club is not bad to get a workout during late nights . However, management doesn’t follow up about concerns that occurred during my upgrade membership. The customer service at the front desk during my Workout are horrible: “lack of training”. Also, if management aren’t concerned with member’s issue tells u a lot about the future of Fort Washington Planet Fitness. I will be canceling my membership.
