Nasty facility. Rude lazy employees that dont know how to do their jobs nor want to. I recommend going else where. Anywhere at that. They should fire the entire bunch and start from scratch. This place is terrible has been for over 20 yrs and is getting worse. Employees are rude at the front counter supervisor included, talk down to you and dont want to work. Its a shame that people like that get decent paying jobs and dont want to work nor treat people with respect.

Worst United States Post Office in the Nation hands down. I am a frequent traveler who has been to several USPS and this one is by far the worst I have ever seen. They are very unprofessional and ill-mannered. I witnessed them treat one customer after another with the worst respect and customer I have ever witnessed. I will be taking this to the higher ups as this is unacceptable . The lady at the front desk are rude and their unwilliness to do their jobs and treatcustomers respectfully is astonishing. USPS has lost my business which is a shame because I spend $1000 monthly shipping through them. WTG FORT PIERCE ORANGE AVE. LOCATION. YOU GET THE WORST AWARD.

I just had an absolutely amazing experience with the USPS team. They were extremely knowledgeable, helpful, polite and professional. I had a very important package to send and they took the stress out of it by walking me through it and explaining all my options. Top notch service, thank you!

The USPS international priority mail works as such, envelope leaves USA to destination country through air carrier, once it arrives at entry point into that country the USPS hand it over to that countries local governmental carrier, this is where the USPS service ENDS for International mail/parcel. To say how disastrous this was for me was is an understatement. Two months later my important documentation arrived, this was a service advertised as between 3-5 working days at USPS.the customer care team where wholly uninformed on where the parcel was they kept refering me to the tracking updates which periodically told me my mail was in the destination country (no City where it was- no other information), just repetatively telling me it had arrived in the destination country.... On the other hand I really like using their services for domestic both parcel and mail within the USA.

Never get mail correctly. If there’s a package, forget it, they won’t even attempt to deliver it, they just send it for you to pick up. Same with anything that needs a signature. I will watch them out the slip in about going to the post office without even attempting to give it to you. We go days without it mail and then get a ton of mail all at once days later. The people in the actual post office at this location have zero customer service and do not understand how the postal service works. Never had this many issues anywhere else but here.

I thought at the minimum the Mail comes Monday through Saturday besides holidays however on avenue H in Fort Pierce the seems to skip a day during the week when we dont have our regular delivery driver. However that should not stop our mailing service...

*** To the old lady with glasses who needs to retire ASAP*** I was waiting in line with my service dog, (Who was laying down not causing a scene) I have the papers to prove he is a certified service dog. I got told to leave because he did not have a vest on. After I told the lady he was a service dog she told me if he was a true service dog and not a fake one he would have a vest. The ADA does not require service dogs to wear a vest or have any specific tags stating that their service dog. She was extremely rude! If I could give them a -10 I would. Absolutely horrible place that should be shut down.

Do yourself a favor and drive downtown instead and avoid this place at all cost if you want to be treated with any type of dignity.

Moved to the area last year and visit this one alot. They are always polite, friendly and helpful. Cant imagine why some folks are critical. Maybe leave their attitudes at the door?

Awful customer service. My mail is lost. And the supervisor had the audacity to tell me that whatever I’m reading on the screen (tracking info) it’s all wrong. Although we all know that the system is quite accurate. So, he couldn’t tell a date that my package was supposed to be delivered. “We will have to wait and see.” Very rude. He then he just pretended he couldn’t listen to me, even though I could and I was speaking to him. He hung up on me. Nice!

Orange Ave branch has some of the friendliest people I know. Never once seen them grumpy or flustered.

Our delivery in lakewood park is so messed up. My mail is always lost. It may go to 3 different houses before I get it. My neighbor across the street and I bring each other our mail all the time. My business depends on me getting my mail on time. Would love if we could get our regular driver Erica back. She is awesome. Also I have put mail in put my flag up and wouldnt you know mail got picked up two days later.

This is a ghetto post office. The employees here are trashy, as you can see the many other reviews they are rude and have a sense of entitlement. I asked to speak to the supervisor(post master) and employees refused to give me his contact information. USPS needs to reform this office, we are paying these people salaries.

If I could give zero stars, I would. They are the most unprofessional postal workers and carriers, that I have encountered. They act like they hate to assist the customers needs. I placed an order online, tracked my package daily. The day it said, out for delivery I made sure that nothing was on my schedule. I waited until 6:30p, went to my mailbox only to get sorry we missed you. A big lie, they didnt attempt to deliver. Then when I went to the post office to pick up the package. The worker acted as if it was a bother, to go and get my package. I will never use them for my online shopping again. I never had this problem with UPS or FEDEX. They have great customer service. This is only my second review ever. They have lost more than one package before. They are NEVER on time. More than once they have left me a notice even though I never left my house that day because I was expecting a package.I watched my delivery woman stop at my house, fiddle around in her truck, and kept on driving. Than later that day I got a text saying they attempted to deliver my package and come pick it up at the store. If I give them zero stars I would.

I have yet to see a post office run like this one. The people inside are so racist against the white people it is unreal. This whole city is like that. Your post office box fees go up but yet your service goes down. Has the same leak in the roof theyve had over 2 years now. Nothing gets done at this place. They need to get rid of everyone at this office and start all over again. How about hiring some white people for the inside. I guess that is why Fort Pierce Florida is also called the ghetto of the Treasure Coast.

Personnel at counter will Stand and argue with you, do neck rolls, cut you off when you are trying to speak, and literally THROW your packages thru the window to the back room. Poorly trained. Refuse to read their own USPS issued protocols. Love to “not know” when asked a question.My postal carrier on the other hand is a total gem!

The girl that delivered some very expensive monitors to my office did an outstanding job.​ ​She called ahead and asked (because they looked expensive) if I would rather pick them up or would I be home to accept delivery.She has also been known, when no one is here, to wrap items in plastic if it looks like it will rain. UPS and FedEx dont even knock anymore.

USPS is the worst mailing service you can ever get

I try to avoid this place like the plague! The women at the front counters are the nastiest females anyone can encounter! I believe people are too afraid to say anything too them! The act as if they are doing you a favor, the Post Master must know these barracudas are not customer service orient. Yet leaves them out there anyway! Post Master you should be ashamed of yourself! I know this review won’t get anywhere I’m sure others have complained and nothing gets done. They are hatful and can make you hate them. Many are wrong they seem to hate everyone no matter what color you are.

Its unbelievable to me that all the reviews Ive read here are so negative and very far from my own personal experience.I recently found myself in an unusual situation with an important package I had previously shipped . Panicked and unsure what to do ,I contacted the Orange Ave. Fort Pierce branch for any possible suggestions .Not only was MICHELE COLEhelpful and pleasant she was genuinely concerned about my problem even though it was not a postal error but my own !She set out to contact the local carrier to help resolve it.The following day Michele took it upon herself to call me to see if my problem was resolved.There is no better care I could have recieved !!I urge all of you that have had similar positive experiences to share them here as well and give credit where credit is due .

My complaint is with the delivery person/letter carriers. I keep having problems - not receiving packages, yet they enter into the tracking system that theyve been delivered. About 2 months ago, I waited almost 2 wks past expected delivery date, then notified company I never received package, even though tracking said I did. They reshipped, I received it. About 4 days later, the first box unexpectedly appeared at my front door - my son saw a man walking down our drive and then down the street. First box apparently delivered to wrong address. Now, right before Christmas, Ive been waiting for 3 packages - two are identical items for grandsons - I need in 2 days! They are already 3 days past stated delivery date! Two packages delivered today - the 3rd (the other identical item) was not BUT AGAIN entered in tracking system as delivered!! So damned sick of this lazy, incompetent service that costs a small fortune to use!!!!

The leadership of this post office tell the delivery people not to deliver just leave slips in in mail box I paid for it to be delivered these people are lazy do your duties and try messing with my mail ! Because I have them in the act on my device I check every hour on the hour what time they are getting to mailboxes they are all lying about attempting to deliver my mailbox is 6×6 × 18 deep but they couldnt put an envelope that was 4×4 in the box lazy MF I hope they shut down for poor service my package went for a ride

I am so upset about my mail man who delivers mail on Jefferson Parkway in North fort Pierce FL. He/she keeps putting my mail in the wrong mailbox. I have important mail coming and I dont get my mail such as food stamps, SSI letter, or credit card.i am hoping this gets fixed today

If I could give it a zero I would its the worst starting from mail carriers. They are so rude and dont even bother to call to put in a complaint on a mail carrier because when the supervisor calls you back you get no where. The seem to only believe the carrier. No matter how many witness can attest to their behavior. These people feel as if its ok to talk down at anyone and just talk to someone any kind of way. I also see looking over some of the reviews I noticed a lot of people have called them racist and if your black you get help. Well thats incorrect Im a black woman and I get the same rude and condescending attitude as well as you from them. They are just rude including the supervisor.

Attempted to deliver. Seems to happen a lot. I have cameras to show that they never even came by. Never use USPS again! FedEx and UPS have never gave me any issues.

You have to experience it to believe it: not only the delivery is terrible - i regularly receive letters for neighbours or even for people who have an address that have absolutely nothing in common with mine, of course I am sometimes not receiving letters that I know where sent to me (such as one for my twin daughter or a very important one from Irs - which puts me a bit in trouble because of course I wasn’t able to answer on time to a letter I never received), but also most people at the post office itself act as very condescending, close to racistly acting, if you are a white person - but they are so cool and having fun, jokes and loud laughs when talking with some othee black people it makes you believe you are in a city block on a sunday afternoon and neighbors + family are having fun right after a game... How come is this possible from gouvernement employees to act like this? Go there in orange avenue, try and see for yourself... Sorry, I wish there was a 0 star option available!!

Horrible customer service. They dont seem like they really want to work there. Not helpful or cooperative in any way. I Asked for a manager to help with an issue and didnt get one. Left frusterated and with a pounding headache. A post office 1000 miles away helped over the phone and resolved the issue. Love my mail Carrier though! She is wonderful!

A package of mine was delivered to an entirely wrong address two weeks ago. I have called their offices every other day since then and received a wonderful amount of excuses and empty promises of returned phone calls. Sweet lady, but not fulfilling the service I paid for.

Needs improvement no help or customer care in delivering package the right way knock on the door. No answer then leave a note. Calling center no answer..wating for 33 minte and 20 second on call......

The letter carriers provide stellar service so please dont confuse my rant towards the delivery team in Fort Pierce.However, the Post Office window clerks on Orange Avenue must be failed correctional officers. Their knowledge always shows ignorance. For example, a Handle with care label continually gets construed with a Fragile item and the clerks scold you because youre accused of defying the standard question anything liquid, fragile, flammable, perishable?. When you answer no, the prison guards say Why the RED fragile sticker!?. My tongue remains sore from biting (it says handle with care idiot!) and kindly replying -- Handle with care is a gentle reminder this is someones gift. I could rant ad nausea about the lackluster service and prejudice served to other than black people so youd have to experience the comedic display of this non-service oriented team. In fact, escalating to the USPS management in Fort Pierce falls on deaf ears so maybe the attitude is an inherited or encouraged behavior? Dont take my experiences as truth; try for yourself!

Called with a question and got through on the 3rd try (phone line was busy). The young lady was very friendly and helpful!

They just delivered 2 of 3 packages today stating there was “no secure location” to leave the 3rd which was a critical hurricane preparation package. And of course since it’s Saturday I can’t get ahold of anyone at the post office to try and get my package... not to mention my patio meets the definition of a secure location and they failed to leave it... you guys really dropped the ball this time and I am more than a little upset

The postal workers are helpful and friendly however the location is terrible, in a run down bad part of Fort Pierce. Should be relocated todowntown Ft Pierce. I hate going there.

Knowledgeable and helpful staff, in midtown. No Saturday window hours but po boxes accessible. Parking lot can be crowded but they just redid it. Get your stamps at groceries or banks unless youre in line anyway.
