Walters was my go-to mechanic in Fort Myers. Hes very straightforward, trustworthy, and knowledgeable about cars. He never tried to upsell me on something that I did not need and always offered competitive prices. The shop was also great about getting my car in on a short notice. I would highly recommend Walters Automotive Center.

Affordable and quality car service. Good customer service. I wasnt a fan of finding my trunk disheveled from what Im assuming was from them trying to find the wheel lock key. I didnt notice it until I got home. I had to lift everything out to reposition it back in the trunk. Thats the only thing I didnt like after the fact, but I felt the services they did do were quality.

Walter was a wealth of knowledge and nice/personable to deal with, helped me out with putting on some tires that I bought. My only gripe is that his service staff acted like it was an inconvenience to take the tires off the wheels that I brought in. other than that my experience was good and id recommend this place

I have always had excellent service here. They don’t do things I don’t need. Went to tire store who said I needed brakes. Walters said not yet another year or more. They are professional, reasonable and fair. Never take advantage. Love this place.

Had a broken time chain tensioner while vacationing at Sanibel.. This was Thursday and we were headed home Saturday. Didn’t hold out much hope of getting it repaired before we left but Walter and his guys got it done quickly. Stand up guys. If I was local I’d definitely be using them.

I took my car to Walter a few weeks ago. It was the first time doing business here. This is an extremely ethical and honest shop. I have a rather old Lexus that can present challenges to mechanics as the diagnostic computer is of little use. This shop did a great job of tackling the issues and presenting reasonable options. I know for a fact that Walter spent time and materials on my car at his own cost, so as to ensure the issues were tracked down and the repair cost were reasonable. He was highly communicative during the process. He set expectations and exceeded them. Walter and John seek to provide a very high level of customer satisfaction. I highly recommend this business. I will use them again for future needs.

Unless you have good knowledge of cars and you know when you are being scammed I recommend never using this place. I was told my car tire was unable to be patched due to location of the nail and I would have to buy a whole new tire.... This was not true, the nail was prime location to be patched, was able to have it done the very next location I went to easily.... ? Not the only person to have a sketchy/bad experience here after asking around. ....as Walter replied to this he said it must be on the first groove , which it very much was. Good to know he at least knew he was trying to get one over on me

I was away from home and my own auto repair shop when my A/C quit working. I was referred to Walters and the problem was promptly diagnosed and repaired at reasonable cost. While I waited watched Walter interface with other customers. I can assure you he is knowledgeable, honest and courteous. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend him to my friends and family if they are in need of service when in Fort Myers.

Best repair shop in the area for sure! Had a strut break bad, car was undrivable and booked me the next morning then fixed it in just a few hours. The car sits much higher in the front now and feels even better than before it broke, they did a really amazing job in a timely matter for a reasonable cost! Very honest and wonderful staff, will never go to a different shop after this.

Ive been taking my 2001 Monte Carlo into Walter ever since I obtained it at 110,000 miles. It just broke 210,000 Miles and still runs great! The AC was just charged and runs better than ever. Walter would always suggest the most economical maintenance issues and would never try to up-sell me on anything that I didnt need. He would always say oh, your front tires have wear on them, but I feel you could get another XXXX amount of miles out of them. Real friendly and honest businessman!

We thought we had good service there. Two months ago one of our “visiting snowbirds” forced me over curb ruining tire. Had replaced with inexpensive tire as it was coming offLease. Someone there mentioned that we needed tires to my wife. I went out to explain and show wife the ok tire thread. Surprise, the left fron tire that was new was still on driver front. Tire rotation never happened. Decided to check fluids, windshield wiper liquid well below full level. To their credit, made appointment and took her right in and changed the oil again. ( or was it first time). Very busy place, never a complaint before. Verify!

Went in with a coupon for the works. Coupon states you get synthetic blend oil, tire rotation a 12 point inspection, and other things. Left with conventional oil and proceeded to get pulled over later on the same night for having a busted headlight. Was never told if everything else was fine and kinda wonder if it was even checked. Clearly they didnt inspect the car. What it seems like I paid 38 bucks and all the did was change my oil. If I wanted that I would of went to Valoline and spend 20 bucks. Lost my trust wont come back

Our car broke down Sunday at Gavins Ace Hardware. The manager from Ace recommended Walters Auto. I called Walter Monday morning, he recommended a towing service. Had the car towed there , he found that we needed a new starter. Had my car running before 5 that day. Couldnt be happier with the service. Will definately be a repeat customer.

Thieves. Repeat work ..... 3 starters in 4 years (20,000 mi) the last one on warranty but they charged $180 for the labor. Replaced A/C compressor 15,000 mile ago and say I need a new one for $700. Took elsewhere and for $125 I had the manifold o rings replaced, a job Walters didnt do 15,000 miles ago when they should have. Walter & John are smiling assassins! Take your vehicle elsewhere.
