You be the judge. Our nails are lumpy and bumpy, Hills and valleys. I wish they felt smooth.If I could give a 0-star…My daughter and I got our nails done. We are from NYC (New York City). I’m posting with the host they do better. My tab was $218 and I tipped a $20.The technician got upset when I ask them to clean it up. I’m a sweetheart and I was being very kind… he said I was asking for to much.

I walked into Venetian nails looking to redo an acrylic job I was not happy with at another nail salon. I was suggested by the manager that my existing set could be fixed and reshaped by one of their expert nail techs instead of paying to remove it and start from scratch. Hank took care of me and turned my spatula shaped nails into the more natural look I was looking for. This place has definitely won my business and I will be returning for my future services. Thank you for excellent customer service. Hank is very good and detailed with his work. He is highly recommended.

I generally give places three shots unless something atrocious happens. This place appears lovely but you feel like a number… get in get out, a pedi feels like a chore, and they’re way way too expensive for that type of treatment. They’re by far one of the priciest salons in town. And don’t think that if you’re a regular customer they’ll help you in a pinch, don’t walk in with a broken nail. I gave 2stars because most of the people are nice, but some will sneak in charges then act dumb when you call them out for being overcharged. Not a great place, there are better places to go!!

Really hit or miss. I cant decide how I feel about this place. Nail techs are inconsistent and they always reshape my nails at the end to a shape I dont like nor ask for. Its like they dont listen to you and just do what they want. Other times my nails are nice, just to go back and get a crummy set that lifts. Sandra does a nice job shaping. I spend a lot of money here and I wish I could give a better review. (Meh) the last time I went...I got a really botched set. Very unhappy. Just cant catch a vibe.Update: they did the right thing in fixing my set that I was unhappy with at no charge. Tam did a great job and I hope to come back to see her moving forward. Hope my opinion of this place changes.

Just moved to Fort Lauderdale and had this place recommended to me. I never usually write reviews but this experience has unfortunately lead me to this. DO NOT go here within 2 hours before closing. I had an appointment for 5:30 which the woman at the desk said would be plenty of time before close. All I will say is that everything was on double speed. The nail tech was basically throwing my limbs around and rushing so much that in no way was it relaxing. If you are someone that wants to be rushed and doesnt necessarily care about the ambiance then this might not bother you. However, at the time of close, I was among a few other customers finishing up. Half of the staff were literally running around screaming and were told to be quiet because there were customers by a staff member. When I was leaving, a group of them were literally partying in the back of the salon. It just made me feel very uncomfortable but mainly shocked, because I have never ever seen a nail salon like this in my life. I dont mind being in a rush every once in awhile, but when I pay extra to have a relaxing experience, and instead am rushed in half the amount of time, have staff running and screaming around me, and the nail tech stopping to talk every 10 seconds it just was not worth all of the money. Will definitely be looking for another nail salon.

I came here to get my nails and toes done before going to the Dominican Republic and the experience was terrible. The lady doing my feet was so rough and kept hurting me. She massaged my feet for two minutes and I asked why it wasn’t a longer massage especially since I paid for the most expensive pedicure they had, she preceded to tell me if I want a foot massage then I need to go to the massage place down the street. I was baffled. Then when she was putting on the cuticle oil she splattered it everywhere it got all over my dress and stained it. I had to throw it away. When I told the manager what happened she didn’t say anything and just gave me my total to pay. I can’t believe how they treat their guests. I will never come back.

I kept coming here for convenience, but they make you wait more than 30-40minutes every time you go in WITH an appointment. Very disorganized. The staff is not friendly.

This is my happy place. The service is really good. Perfect place to relax and get your nails done at the same time. I always do the dip mani and pedicure. You can have free wine, soda or coffee while you are visiting. They are so nice to me. The prices are a little bit high but you are paying for an extremely relaxing experience and beautiful nails.

Made an appointment, was called 30 min later and then sat in the pedicure chair for another 15 min while the tech came…. Why are you double booking appointments i don’t understand? and why couldn’t you call and say you’re running late? It’s not a big deal. I would’ve rather sat at home or went to grab lunch than sitting there and waiting being told the tech is almost done….

This is my second day trying to get my acrylics taken off. I called both times to make an appointment and they told me it was not necessary because it is fast, yet I showed up TWICE and was told that there was too many people in front of me. So like am I ever going to show up and be able to get this done if I cant even get an appointment for some weird reason. So frustrating! I cannot just show up whenever they are empty, I have work and other responsibilities.

Venetian Nail Spa is beautiful when you first walk in. Staff was friendly. However, the lady who did my pedicure, cut me three different time on one foot. NOPE! I most definitely will NOT be returning.

Helen did a great job on my cuticles. I havent received a mani/pedi this good since my nail tech in LA. Definitely going to her every time I go back. They look fake dont they. Nope! Those are my real nails 💅 😍 🤪

“Hands down” the best pedicure and manicure I’ve ever had. Absolutely perfect.Tony, who is new to the shop, did my nails and I am beyond impressed. Excellent gel pedicure, both the quality of the polish job and the work on smoothing out my feet. For my dip manicure, Tony was such a perfectionist and really took his time to make it impeccable. I cannot say enough about the excellent service I received!

Bad experience yet again. Go to this place with my sister for a couple years bi weekly and monthly for dip mania pedis. People are so worried about talking to each other while working, they’re not paying attention and cut your feet. Owner knew I was cut and bleeding on my toe and says nothing. I’ve had issues in the past before and they have attitude and don’t really take care of the loyal customers. We spend good money there and they just disregard that. Also, they charge me additional for an ombré that looks awful and we won’t be going back.

This was by far the absolute worst experience I have ever had at any nail salon ever. I was there for 10 minutes and I was leaving with a bleeding nail. I sat with Eric ( who was very kind and polite).My plan was to touch up my acrylics which I had gotten done elsewhere but one fell off a week and a half in so I had to get them fixed. So he convinced me that dip nail was better, so we would have to remove the old acrylic and do the dip nail instead.So... he just started to rip off my old nails, which were still VERY connected to my real nail, quite aggressively. I broke a sweat from the pain (and Im a tattoo artist, so Im very good with pain) and continued to say ouch and tell him this is really painful. I have never had anyone take off nails worse than I could at home by myself, but oh man he took the cake. He literally ripped off half of my fingernail... and proceeded to keep going. And pour super glue on it to stop the bleeding WHICH BURNED SOOOO SO SO BAD! Oh, and may I mention he compressed my bleeding finger with the dirty towel...He insisted that I just get the nails put on top and thats how he will fix it... and to be honest at that point I did not trust this man with my nails. All my fingers feel bruised under my nails... my one nail is so sensitive I have a bandaid on it because its jus the raw under nail part exposed. In my personal opinion.. you should not continue to put the nail over top of a bleeding open wound?????Anyway.. I told him I was uncomfortable with continuing the nail procedure and that I wanted to leave (kindly). And he proceeded to tell me that I would be CHARGED 10$ for the nail removal!!!! Please look at this picture and tell me why anyone would want to pay for a nail service who did this to their nails?!??Feeling uncomfortable saying no, I stupidly paid the 10$ because I wanted to cry and get out of there as soon as possible.When I got home, my boyfriend was so mad I was mistreated so badly that he insisted we go back and complain to see what they could do. Guess what they did to fix the problem? The manager kaitlyn said she will give me 10$ off my next full set..... WHICH I ALREADY HAD GIVEN THEM THE 10$. She wouldnt give me my money back or anything... so I took pictures of my terrible nails that they made me pay for and Im posting my terrible experience everywhere so nobody will have to deal with the abuse that I did... please please please dont go here!!!! IT WAS TERRIBLE MONEY HUNGRY EMPLOYEES AND TERRIBLE MANAGEMENT.

These are my nails 4 days after getting them done. If Nathan is doing your nails go somewhere else. Save your money. He burned me with the filer, but I guess he at least asked every time I did it so while I was waiting for my finger to stop stinging the nail started peeling off. They were very hospitable to me when I came in as a first time client, but I did not receive service where I’d ever want to come again.

This place needs to change management or something because they treat customers badly and are dishonest.I was told over the phone that there’s no wait for a walk in. Once I show up for a nail repair on 2 nails the manager tells me that there’s no way they’ll be able to take me since they are booked with other guests (with three hours left till closing). Instead of asking the girl who told me on the phone why she lied, she tried to reschedule me for tomorrow morning. As I was waking out I hear the same girl at the front tell someone else on the phone that walk-ins are available 🤦🏽‍♀️

Absolute worst experience I’ve ever had at a nail salon. Do not go to April, she is entitled and rude. First my pedicure could have been done by a 2 year old better. Half of most of my toe nails aren’t painted. Second I got a nexgen manicure. I asked for French and got the worst looking French possible. My nails are bumpy and lumpy and when I asked the woman to fix something I didn’t like she was not happy about it. Her friends would come over and sit next to her and blatantly talk about me in another language and look at me and talk more. It was absolutely horrible. I paid for the job of a two year old not a professional. I feel like I was bullied by the workers and will NEVER be going back or recommending it to anyone. I left the salon in tears because of how I was treated.

Knew it was cutting it close with a little over 30mins till close for a manicure but to stand at the front for 10 mins without even being acknowledged and after 5 employees looked right at me and walked away....I’d probably still be standing there if I hadn’t flagged down a staff memeber myself...no thank you I’ll take my business elsewhere

I have had my nails done only a handful of times, primarily by men. The first was great but the service went down hill - they looked great but they were often uneven. Today I went in frustrated, but Phobe took her time and made sure they were done right and look amazing. Thank you, Phobe! You are my go-to gal!

I’ve been going here for two years and have been wanting to try a new place and today was my final straw. I showed up at 5:50pm (they close at 7pm) and asked for mani(dip) and pedi. They denied both services because dip “takes 45min” but this is never the case they rush through manicures all the time with me, which is fine but don’t tell me it takes 45mins for a service I’ve been getting forever here and act smart and rude to me. I will not be recommending any of their services.

Great customer service. They are usually very busy so I recommend setting an appointment to avoid a long wait. The technicians take their time and my gel manicures always last 3 weeks.

I’m usually super picky but the technicians at this saloon always do a phenomenal job. The one and only time I didn’t like the look and shape of my nails, Kaitlin (the Owner and manager) took the time to redo my nails her self. Now, every time I come in, she always puts me with the best technician for the services I am getting. Ever technician there is very respectful and really good at giving you the shape and look you came in looking for. I won’t go anywhere else at this point. I highly recommend this salon, even if you have to drive 20 minutes to get there because it’s totally worth it. Ask for Shawn if you get dip.

Update 11/16/19I previously gave this place a 5 star and I have been coming here for the last 2 years. After getting my nails done less than 2 weeks the dip on one of them broke and I came early in the morning when there is not a rush and there is a lot of technicians waiting doing nothing to see if they can fix it after waiting for 15 minutes I can see the lady going around asking for someone to help and nobody will want to do it... I was planing to pay and I have consistently given a very good tip every time I have come to this place. This shows you there is 0 customer service I had to walk away without getting my nail fixed. What a shame but I will no longer be coming back to this place....Management should see this and know that little things like this and all the customer service is what will drive your business I will make sure everyone knows the poor customer service I received today after being a loyal customer for 2 years, clearly all they care is the client that is going there paying for the most expensive service.Very sad....Below was my old post- what a shame!!!!This place is clean and usually really fast to get appt. last minute. I met a new member of the staff and I am so excited about making future appointments. His name is Kevin. I usually prefer a female staff member for my manicure and pedicure because I am sensitive to physical pain. But Kevin was not too rough with the massage during the deluxe pedicure. He made sure I had everything I needed to get the right look for my pedicure. He knew how to treat my skin. He is very careful with the process of making the feet soft like a newborn baby. My manicure was also wonderful. Ask for Kevin for your manicure and pedicure. You will keep going back for good service.

I gave a start because there’s no option to give a zero. I am really disappointed with the service. I had my lashes done by Helen and I hated, in fact I had to go to another place to take them out and have it redone.I asked for something natural, and boy! I can not say enough about the fake look, it’s like the only thing you can see when you look at me are the enormous and unnatural lashes. I drove around and came back just to hear that there is no other sets shorter than the one I got and there’s nothing they could do. Matthew is the best at his craft and pays such good attention to small details with my nails that I dont even notice! Horrible place! Don’t waste your money! It seems like an upscale place by charging you for every extra and they don’t even do good the basic service! I just tried them for first time today and it was awful! Girl didn’t even properly clean my toe nail. I’m so pissed I spend my money there. She was trust me I know what I’m doing. Excuse me but trust me I know how my feet look like after going to a good nail salon! I just moved to Fort Lauderdale so I guess I will have to try other places but I would never come back to this one. I should have read the reviews before coming here. She even said oh your nails don’t look right because the nail polish is old. After applying this to you we are trashing this. Oh really?!! How about let me pick a new nail polish you can apply to me! So ridiculous. The girl was also giving me attitude. She needed to do a good job. I even left her a tip! And I’m mad about it but whatever. I did t want to cause an scene. Just had a job transfer to Fort Lauderdale and wanted to go to a salon near work and was recommended this one by a coworker. I set up an appointment for 5:45pm and arrived at 5:40pm. By 5:45pm my nails were being buffed.My nail tech was Kathy and she was great! She gave me beautiful almond nails in which all came out perfect and identical. She was fast but did not rush and made sure throughout the process that I liked how many nails were turning out. Definitely coming back!

It definitely isn’t a very strict place for their staff members and it can feel rushed at times. However, they have every color you can ask for and give complimentary coffee/ wine. Also the staff is super friendly and the atmosphere is happy.

I wish I could rate it 0 stars for easily giving the most painful, careless pedicure I’ve ever received in my life. When it was over I couldn’t even tell and there was still some type of lotion/sticky cream on my legs that was clearly visible because my legs are a darker skin color. When I asked for it to be wiped off or rubbed in the lady passed me a towel. Unreal.

Went here this weekend and I was short on time. I originally requested a Mani/pedi but because I had to wait a little (it was packed) I didnt think I could squeeze in both. The host assured me that I could and she was right. She explained to the manicurist that I had an event and needed to be done by a certain time. Mani/pedi were done in 45 minutes and it looks beautiful. The place itself is stunning and is very clean. Although I was in a rush, I could see everyone in full conversation with their manicurist, and having a nice experience. First time here and I highly recommend.

I left dinner dinner early so my girlfriend could go get her mani & pedi.. I arrived precisely at 729pm thinking there was more than enough time as they close at 8pm. When I got up front the door was closed so I knocked and was totally ignored while they looked on from inside. Being upset And waiting I kept knocking until they opened the door and said they weren’t taking any more people and to come back another time. Lady was rude & need less to say I’ll never be back. Don’t waste your time there, plenty places that would love your business and are happy to help.

$106 is what I paid for full set acrylic and gel Polish and pedicure with gel Polish... My toes, by Ruby... I love. However my nails are a disaster, first of all the wrong color was chosen when I showed my nail tech a pic, she was not very friendly in the first place and secondly.. Literally a day after my Polish started chipping and the actually acrylic started lifting. I love the ambiance of Ventian, I use to go to the plantation location, but they got too crowded so I changed to this one... Never again. Safe to say Im done with Venetian. Too pricey for sub par service. Id rather go to a local nail shop in the Hood.

YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!! All Venetian Nail Spas are NOT the same. After moving from Plantation where I had gone to Venetian for years, I decided to come to this spa on Federal (I wrongfully thought it would be the same great people and service) BUT this is the WORST place I have ever been to have my nails done. The last time I was there, I had a French manicure done and within 2 days, the white tips were totally yellow. I went back the next weekend to show them what happened and to give them a chance to correct it. But instead of fixing it, they argued with me about how that is totally normal, and I was basically stupid for not knowing that. Now, I have been getting my nails done for the past 15 years....usually always French....and this is the one and ONLY time they have ever turned yellow.I always believe in giving second chances and I have been to this location a total of 4 times. Each experience was worse than the one before. I have been telling all of my family and friends about this TERRIBLE place and most of them have had the same sort of stories about them.The manager at the front desk is completely rude and his staff follows his lead. They are not pleasant at all.

I go to this nail salon every week - Matt and Mauvy are my favorite but everyone Ive ever encountered is always very pleasant, professional, and do my nails exactly how I like them. I am e x t r e m e l y particular about my nails, Ive been getting them done for years and they always meet my expectations. This is a very popular salon so as with all nail salons, a wait is expected, so an appointment is suggested. I dont mind the wait though, because even if someone who is working on me has an appointment waiting I never feel like the technician is rushing through my nails to get to the next person. So I would never want someone to rush for me. Will continue to go to this salon as long as theyre open.

My experience has been fantastic. I have only been with one nail tech and his name is Tan. He takes his time and my nails (I get dips) and toes look amazing. I would highly recommend Tan and Venetian Nail Spa.

I have visited these place several times before in the last couple years while in town for vacation. I was glad with the girls and service. Unfortunately I never checked the reviews before since I was always happy with the service :( this time I did my nails with Ruby, it wasnt an issue for me that she barely speaks to you when she makes your nails but she did a terrible job and was unfriendly. She seemed almost angry. This place is more expensive than the nail places around and until now I thought it was worth it to receive a good service, but not when getting treated that way. Train your girls for better costumer service!

I like going here because of its atmosphere, but every time I go I am constantly being unsold. I feel like $26 is good for a pedicure, but everything seems to cost extra. When I first started going i was very happy with the service; however now, I feel like if I dont upgrade the technician is upset with me and it doesnt make for a relaxing experience. Im disappointed, Ive been robbed. For the longest time Ive been paying $85.00 for the same services I get. Today I got charged $92.00. The ownwer stated the prices are in the price listing. I look at the price listing and he doesnt have pricing for waxing of the nose and ears. He stated that that is a special requests. The technicians are fabulous but the owner doesnt know what he is doing. He has no sense of what a loyal customer is and the referrals his business gets when you send him potential customers that many have become his clients. He owns other locations and pricing is different in one $102.00 and the other $90.00 so I dont understand, its the same services all together. Gel mani, reg pedi, waxing of the eyebrows, ears and nose.

This was the worst pedicure that Ive ever had. 20 minutes from soak to finish. Twice she tried to upsell me. I am so disappointed. She spent less than 5 minutes with the pumice.Wish I would have read the reviews. We have many choices in Ft. Lauderdale.Shes lucky I tipped her $5.00.

Horrible service! Just like the previous reviews; they can’t even do basic nail services. I got a gel manicure with my natural nails for $40. An hour later the gel starts peeling off. I call them up and they were nice enough to redo them. Fast forward 1 whole day later and only two of the nails still have polish on them. Would never in a million years expect such an expensive place to be so poor in decent service.

I went in on my lunch break to get my nails done pressing for time and I must say HA was amazing !!!! She was extremely helpful, she did an exceptional job on my nails !!!! I am very happy and will be returning!Katelyn at the greeters table was very kind and knowledgeable of products, (which was very helpful)Keep up the great work ladies!

Went there for the first time, got their brand they use, SNS, natural nail put on first, then white gel on top with glitter. The next day, two of my nail popped off, went back to them to fix it and didnt even try to match the color white I had, and the glitter that was put on top was completely different, and when I told them it didnt match the original white they got all annoyed, and said if I didnt remember the certain color then they cant match it. Few hours later, another nail popped off on a different finger. Wasnt going to waste my time with that place anymore. The place looks so nice inside too, but just horrible products and service.

Well, let me tell you this, the place wouldn’t be the same if it wouldn’t have Tan there. He is just mind blowing, let him do his thing and you’ll be happy. But don’t book him too much lol cause I wanna make sure I got a spot open for myself anytime I want haha But for real place is nice they are very hospitable and make you feel great.

This salon is somewhat clean ( their towels look dingy though) the employees perform good service but they resent female military veterans and express their political dissent to customers when all they want to do is relax. No one pays them for gossip but you would think that’s their job cause they don’t know when to shut up and their sources are always false and they lie too much. Every time Ibwent to this salon they spread rumors about the military customers calling them names, like fat, itchy, homeless, poor, and honestly you want them to shut up. Why are they situated on Federal Highway if they hate this country? They express communist thoughts to customers and should just do their job. Honestly.

I’ve been here once but I already love this place. I normally don’t prefer gel manicure but I got manicure with a regular polish for a quality of gel polish.

I came in with a party of 3, two of which were getting a mani and petti.. I was simply getting a petti. Needless to say, both of the people I were with received both manicures and petticures before I was even seated in a chair. I waited and waited, checked with the clerk several times and was told, theyre still waiting for an open chair .. But, multiple customers came in and were almost immediately seated and served. The atmosphere is wonderful but thats about the only thing I can appreciate about this establishment... I will share my experiencehere with all of my friends and family that live in the area..

If you visit this place. Stay away from RUBY (black glasses and tattoos). She is rude and so nonchalant. She finished my daughters pedicure and just walked away. When she sat down she didn’t even greet her. Then she had the nerve to have an attitude when I asked her if my baby even put her feet in the water. If you don’t like your job Ruby then get another one. With yo rude a**.
